Went here today for dinner with my husband, the food was very tasty and the bread was freshly prepared and served warm to the table was very tasty, the atmosphere was very nice and cozy, the owners were very friendly and you can tell that they do their job with all their heart, I can warmly recommend the House of Wines, the next time we are back in Meersburg we will go there again to eat, to the owners keep it up.

We had the pleasure of dining after the bonfire in the *Haus der Weine Meersburg* on March 8th, 2025, and we were completely thrilled! The taste of the food was excellent - you could feel the attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients. The service from the staff, who were also the owners, was absolutely warm and courteous, making the experience particularly personal and enjoyable. The seating in this charming old building with a modern style was simply ideal and contributed to a relaxed ambience. An absolutely recommended place for an enjoyable evening! We'd love to come back.

The menu offered an excellent selection and every dish we tried was wonderful - fresh, harmonious in taste and prepared with great attention to detail. The ambience also contributed significantly to the enjoyment: the room was rustic and inviting, with a pleasant atmosphere that invited you to linger. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are warmly welcomed and immediately feel like you are in good hands. The furnishings are harmonious and create a cozy atmosphere - a perfect ambience to enjoy the evening. The food is simply outstanding. I was particularly impressed by the shrimp Aglio e Olio – my personal favorite. They were juicy, perfectly seasoned and, in combination with the Aglio e Olio cream, a real treat for the palate. It was even much better than I imagined. Another highlight was the excellent service. Warm, attentive and with great communication - here you can tell that the well-being of the guests comes first. You feel completely comfortable and well looked after. I can fully recommend the “Haus der Weine” and am already looking forward to my next visit when I’m in the area again!

After the Christmas Garden on the island of Mainau, we had dinner at the Haus der Weine restaurant. We were placed in the older part (wine cellar)… definitely the best ambience. The evening was the perfect end to a perfect day. From the ambience to the food to the service, it's simply sensational. Be sure to try the shrimp aoili, the best I've ever eaten!!

The service was excellent. The waiting time from ordering to eating was perfect. Zander was served with risotto and pork loin with cheese spaetzle. The portions were perfect, the plates were full. Great taste. We found the price/performance ratio to be absolutely fair. The music that came from the speaker was perfect for a cozy evening for two and not too loud at all. You sit somewhat sheltered on the terrace so that the stream of tourists passing by doesn't bother you at all while you eat. The ambience in front of the restaurant is a bit inconspicuous. That's exactly what makes it even more likeable. It was a wonderful stay with you. We are happy to recommend this restaurant. We'd love to come back.

Because of the existing game menu that was visible outside, my partner and I decided to eat there. The outside view was also very inviting. I was only critical about the cranberry sauce because I don't like cranberries. The head of the house and the cook specially served it in a gravy boat 👍 we were pleasantly surprised, the food was very tasty, so I ate beyond my hunger ☺️ We can only recommend it

We came across the restaurant by chance on the first evening of our Meersburg weekend - and were thrilled by the service and quality of the food. So - completely against our usual habits - we went back to this restaurant the next evening. Everything was once again to our utmost satisfaction. Very nice service. The “Haus der Weine” and the “Alemannen-Torkel” are the same restaurant, the same kitchen and the same staff with only two different entrances. The food was OK and quite tasty - but very expensive (similar to many tourist shops in Meersburg). I even think (partially) convenient. The service was very nice, the wine was delicious and the location was OK.

An absolute recommendation!!! We were there last weekend and loved the excellent food and good service! We had game and a few drinks. We often eat out, but everything was perfect here. The portions were large enough and the prices were fair. Every ingredient in the dish was very well coordinated. I haven't eaten so well in a long time 👍! The atmosphere is just nice and cozy. You could stay there forever... The waiter was really friendly, on the ball and remembered everything. We would love to come back and definitely come back!

Since we live in Überlingen, we are new regulars from today. Very tasty food and super friendly service. The ambience is unbeatably beautiful. We have reserved a table for a Christmas holiday. But we will definitely come back for dinner beforehand. And look forward to it we already meet.

We are very very disappointed. 1) waited for ONE HOUR for food 2)portion is poor. You pay 20€ plus for a normal dish, and the amount of fish/meat you get is half of what you usually get in a normal restaurant 3)food tastes below average. Again, for the price you pay this is absolutely a RIP-OFF, you could just tell that the restaurant does not care about the quality, they just want to fool stupid tourists 4)for the fact that it is called “Haus der Weine”, you have like 10 choices of wine where like 6 of them are international. Why even bother giving yourself such a name?? 5)there are 2 dining areas in the restaurant, one of them is warm with ok atmosphere, the other part which faces the street is cold, and the lighting is rather cold as well, no atmosphere, not good. We feel cheated.

Amazing atmosphere if you decide to look inside the restaurant. An atmospheric small room with stools and wonderful owners who serve German cuisine in both classic and more modern versions. Three evenings spent in this restaurant were very successful! I sincerely recommend it!

First of all, you sit in a very nice atmosphere. The waiters are all super friendly and, above all, understand their job. The food is also great. All in all one of the best restaurants on Lake Constance. We'll definitely be back. Even when it's hot, the fans on the terrace make it easy to endure. Plus, gluten-free wasn't a problem at all and people knew their way around.

Today I'm reporting on an excellent restaurant, slightly hidden, in Meersburg. When we arrived, we received a friendly welcome for the first time. We sat opposite the restaurant and, as a matter of course, the food was brought to us across the street. On the second visit , this time we sat down in the cozy atmosphere. Very comfortable benches with stylish cushions and decorations. The light in the vine above us sparkled. The service greeted us in a friendly manner and handed us hot, fresh and delicious bread. The menu offers soups, Salads, fish, pasta and meat, everything your heart desires. Everything is freshly prepared and therefore requires a bit of waiting, but the very good cuisine makes you forget everything. The food tastes excellent and is plentiful. The service always asked about our satisfaction , which adds to the cosiness. We hereby recommend that you pay a visit to this restaurant and let yourself be pampered by the excellent cuisine. We would be happy to come back and enjoy this great ambience. Thanks to everyone for the great time

Very nice and cozy restaurant to eat. We went there for dinner with a family of 4. There are special dishes on the menu for children. The staff is very accommodating, very friendly and extremely attentive, fully recommended! Good to know: after 6 p.m. the tables in the café opposite (outside) can also be used!

We went there for dinner as we were visiting Meersburg. Rustic atmosphere, very nice waiter. The food was very tasty and filling. The wine is tasty. Even the children's schnitzel was a good portion. Unfortunately we couldn't sit outside as it was constantly raining. The outdoor area is beautifully designed with nice benches and tables. And beautifully overgrown with plants and fairy lights, really very cozy and inviting. We were very satisfied.

We spent 2 days in Meersburg and feasted twice at the Haus der Weine. All I can say is you are welcome among friends. We felt completely comfortable and the food, from starter to dessert, was simply delicious. Wine recommendations for food and tasting drops 🤗 excellent. Unfortunately I didn't take photos of everything because I was just busy enjoying it. If you leave a restaurant with tears in your eyes because you know you have to go home, the owner and his team are probably doing everything right. Thank you Bozo and team, when we come back to Meersburg, we will come back to you ❤️

We asked for a free table for two and were asked directly where we wanted to sit. Would you rather be outside or inside? Since it was very warm outside we decided to stay inside and that was the best decision. At the beginning we sat all alone in the wonderful ambience in the vaulted cellar. The service was there and very polite. The food was well prepared and super tasty 😋 We look forward to seeing you again!

There were four of us with a small dog in the Haus der Weine. We liked the space straight away, we felt comfortable. The service was very friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed the food. It tasted good, was beautifully served and the quantity was just right. The restaurant also offers more than just the usual cheese spaetzle for vegetarians. We will stop there again the next time we visit Meersburg.
