The food was very easy to digest. I had a dish with Spätzle, which I don't usually like. Nevertheless, I was very impressed. A visit is definitely worthwhile. Enjoy your meal! 🍽️

Honestly, I find a small appetizer for €7.90 overpriced, especially when the main course isn't even listed on the menu. You can't offer salami pralines in a Parmesan coating and sell a kabanos sausage. Customers should at least be informed! Then they could perhaps order something else. Offering a venison schnitzel for €31.50, which unfortunately tasted only of frying oil, and the lukewarm potato and lamb's lettuce salad, which was just a pre-made potato salad taken from the refrigerator and garnished with only a sprig of lamb's lettuce, didn't improve the overall quality of the meal. A shame, considering it was too expensive.

A nice restaurant with a really lovely atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive. The server took my feedback about the quality seriously and assured me she would pass it on to the kitchen – I appreciated that. Unfortunately, the overall value for money isn't right. The roast beef with onions and cheese spaetzle was disappointing in terms of taste; the spaetzle tasted like a pre-made mix. Furthermore, the portion was very small, especially considering the rather high price.

I had the roast pork, which tasted very good, though a little dry. The gravy was very flavorful, and the dumpling complemented it perfectly. The coleslaw was okay. The crackling was perfect! The service was very friendly and quick.

The Harlachinger Jagdschlössl is always worth a visit. Good staff, good food, and simply a pleasant stay. The club sandwich is highly recommended. But the rest of the menu is also very good. I have absolutely nothing to criticize; it's simply a great restaurant.

We were there as a small group on Saturday. Our dining room was cozy and not too loud—not completely packed. We enjoyed the food. However, we found the wait time for the food to arrive completely unreasonable—I'm going to give it between 3 and 4 stars, and didn't want to give it 3 because our waitress was very nice, but we did wait forever. Our order was delivered incorrectly several times, one was almost forgotten, and we even had to wait a very long time for the bill (and the receptionist seemed to be completely uninterested in being there). Although the food was delicious, I personally won't be coming back—at least not on a Saturday.

Unfortunately, the cuisine has lost its once truly high standards. There used to be a Kaiserschmarren here that—at least in Munich—no one could surpass. That's why I kept coming back. Unfortunately, what was served this time was just average. Good, but nothing special. My wife ordered the Pfeffenwürger, which she used to love. What arrived bore no resemblance to the description on the menu—and was more canteen-style than a large-scale restaurant. The new owner is clearly optimizing the margin and may then wonder why so many tables are empty. On the positive side, the staff is very attentive and friendly. And yet, for us, there's no reason to come back. It's a shame—I'm already missing the Kaiserschmarren.

Four of us were there today, and the food was fantastic again! Everyone enjoyed it, and the portions were perfect!

My favorite Bavarian restaurant in Munich. I recommend the mountaineer's schnitzel (my combo with kasespatzen and the toppings) or the ox cheeks.

First things first: Friendly welcome Question if we had a reservation Although we didn't have a reservation, we were given a choice between sun and shade and were kindly escorted to our table. Drinks came quickly Our food order was sausage salad without onions (I can't tolerate them) -> unfortunately, it came anyway. Then I sent it back. Second order was roast pork. It was incredibly delicious and came with an extra crust. Highly recommended. Prices are probably normal for Munich.

Very good, down-to-earth food in a cozy atmosphere. On the day we visited, it was unusually busy and a bit loud, but on our subsequent visit, it was quieter, as is probably normal. The service was incredible—friendly, even warm, and very attentive.

Very nice beer garden, great service, friendly, nice, accommodating.

The roast beef with onions, for a whopping €36, was the size of a better-quality child's portion—estimated at 150g of meat. Sorry, but that's not going to win you any friends. Value for money? A mystery only the chef and the cashier can solve. The onions were dry and tasted suspiciously like they'd been plucked straight from an XXL ready-made onion bucket. As a guest, you not only feel full, but also a little bit fooled.

A cozy and stylish ambiance awaits you here, with very friendly and welcoming service. The cuisine is consistently of a high standard, meeting very high standards. I've always had at least good, and usually very good, meals. The Schlössl remains my/our regular restaurant.

Full marks for the Harlachinger Jagdschlössl! We spontaneously stopped by the beautiful beer garden on a Monday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. The service (Yvonne) was warm, attentive, and simply excellent – ​​you feel welcome here. The lunch menu offers a nice selection, and our choice was a hit. The "Sparschweindl" (Sparschwein), a roast pork with a perfect crust, a matching sauce, two superb potato dumplings, and a well-seasoned coleslaw, as well as a juicy breaded chicken schnitzel with crispy fries. Value for money? Every cent is worth it in terms of both taste and quality, even if the prices are a bit too high at first glance. There's something for everyone here, and we'll definitely be back at our next opportunity.

Super delicious food and the garden is a dream

We didn't even get to the food, service, or ambiance. The parking situation was disastrous. There were about eight parking spaces next to the tram tracks, but due to the limited space, they couldn't be fully utilized. There were no other parking spaces, even within a larger radius. Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant with a beer garden of this size.

The Käsespätzle came with a wide variety of toppings. That you could add and mix to your liking. Changing the flavour profile of every bite. Making it very enjoyable. The toppings were: Spring onions, Black Pepper, jam, red wine onions, fried onions and some croutons. The Kaiserschmarrn had alot of nice almonds and came with two sauces apple and plum.

A friendly welcome. The food was delicious, the menu was beautifully presented, and all three different dishes arrived at the same time. The service was extremely friendly, patient, attentive, yet unobtrusive. The beer garden is simply beautiful. We'll be back.

We visited this restaurant for the first time in a long time. Unfortunately, the service was completely overwhelmed by the number of guests. After ordering and eating, we sat with our empty plates for 45 minutes before paying and leaving. The schnitzel was good, the roast pork gravy tasted like packaged gravy, and the Pfaffenwürger (a kind of sausage) were mushy and tasteless. A real shame; we're used to it.

And not too sweet either 👍 Everyone is super friendly, accommodating, and every smile feels genuine and heartfelt. The fireplace room is so beautifully decorated and there's plenty of space. We searched for a really long time for a suitable location for our wedding reception, but now we've found our dream restaurant!!!!!!!! Update on July 21, 2025 We got married here and it was beautiful! The friendly and attentive staff member who was there for us the entire afternoon was incredibly dedicated! We've been back several times since then, and the quality is still amazing! We always enjoy coming back and think back to our wedding fondly. ❤️

We were there with a group of 20 people for a class reunion on Saturday evening. Due to the nice weather, our reservation was moved to the beer garden. This was the perfect decision. Cozy and inviting – both the "new" building with its rustic ambiance and Alpine flair and high tables, and the quaint old building. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, and the service was exceptionally attentive! Barely halfway through, the waiter asked if we could have a little more sauce – and it arrived piping hot on the table less than two minutes later. Drinks were also promptly refilled. Overall, a lovely evening; we'd be happy to return. Thank you very much!

The food was good as usual, and the selection was fantastic, but the wait times really ruined our evening. There was no warning that it would be longer. Waiting 45 minutes for the food, 30 minutes for dessert, and finally 30 minutes for the bill—after repeated inquiries and puzzled faces—doesn't do justice to the prices. It's a shame, but the competition is doing better.

I love it here! I’ve been here 3 times and each time food, service and atmosphere were outstanding! I like the wienerschitzel a lot, also the birne salad and aperol sour. They have friendly waiters and a nice garden. I’d definitely go again.

I ordered the BeerBQ pulled pork burger and my husband had the Nürnberg sausage. I personally liked my BeerBQ pulled pork burger as it was jazzed up with the right kind of herbs and seasonings I’ve not tried with pulled pork before. The fries were hot and delicious, too. My husband’s sausage was plump, juicy and paired well with the kraut and spicy mustard. Overall, visiting the restaurant was a great experience.

Unfortunately, the quality and taste have deteriorated considerably...

The visit was a thoroughly positive experience. Even the reservation by telephone was extremely friendly and charming. “Our” waiter was very nice, quick and attentive. We ordered the grilled schnitzel and the onion roast, both recommended! We'll definitely come back to the beer garden when the weather is nice.

It was a great post-workshop dinner event as always. Since I'm less of an HB fan and more of a Giesinger/Augustiner fan, I choose dark wheat beer and possibly bock beer, since there was no cellar beer. The food was excellent, with the exception of a few dishes you could order everything as a pensioner's portion, which was really great. The staff was attentive but not intrusive, a really successful evening.

Very inflexible when it comes to seating arrangements in the beer garden. We were a birthday party of eight people. We wanted to put two tables of four together. The usher didn't allow that, his announcement was either two tables for four or sit inside! Well, the birthday atmosphere was lost with such unfriendly staff. Unbelievable, this has never happened to me before.

We were at the Bavaria Studios on Thursday and stopped there on the way back to Munich. Yes, the restaurant is not cheap, but my ox cheeks were worth every euro (the apple red cabbage in particular was very tasty). My wife had a pulled pork burger, my daughter had kässpätzle and my son had the veal schnitzel. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back again. The visit was rounded off by the very friendly staff. It was also remarkable how quickly the food came. Very good address and recommended

Nice economy with delicious food

Unfortunately, the last visit was a disappointment. For the price, the portion of the spaetzle was VERY small, at first we thought they were bringing us a children's portion. In the pictures in the reviews 4 months ago the portion was twice as big. The schnitzels for over €30 are also quite small for the price. The spaetzle was also only lukewarm and you didn't feel full. Not appropriate for the price of €20. Despite the restaurant being half empty, service was unavailable at times and the table was a little dirty. The food was delicious, but unfortunately disappointing for the price. The company seems to be on a budget. It leaves a bad aftertaste when there is a car worth over €100,000 in the employee/restaurant owner's internal parking lot. Bought at the expense of customer satisfaction. Also only 1 vegetarian main dish (Spätzle) otherwise only 1 soup, 1 vegetarian salad and Kaiserschmarrn is no longer up to date.

Great location centrally located with a clear parking problem. Funny and fast service in a pleasant atmosphere, which unfortunately hardly allows for conversation when the restaurant is full because it is very open. Dishes delicious and tasty but too expensive. All in all, a great restaurant that you should go back to at any time, but unfortunately you have to look at the price on the menu in order to get the best possible food.

Top Wienerschnitzel, an absolute recommendation! Accompanied by a wonderfully fresh mixed salad, it couldn't be better. The service, however, does. Although there wasn't much going on late at lunchtime, the 3 service staff were uncoordinated, slow and not exactly motivated. It's a shame that doesn't match the beautiful ambience and the prices quoted.

We used to like going to this place because of its Kaiserschmarn, as it is really deliciously made. However, the service today was especially slow, it took them more than half an hour to bring it to our table, after having asked one of the staff whether they have forgotten about us. We decided not to give a tip for the service and this is what happened: the waitress enquired why this was in a rather rude way, not once, but twice. She made faces when asked to put leftovers in a box and made sure to teach us a lesson at the very end, namely to order something else next time we come, as Kaiserschmarn apparently takes long to prepare fresh. We left with an unpleasant feeling.

As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the cozy and authentic Bavarian atmosphere. The furnishings are lovingly designed and radiate a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food is simply outstanding. The menu offers a wide selection of traditional Bavarian dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Particularly recommended are the Kasspatz'n, which are served on a large wooden board with various side dishes - a real culinary delight. The Kaiserschmarrn dessert is also an absolute must and rounds off the culinary experience perfectly. Another highlight is the Jäger-Jaus'n, a hearty snack platter with various sausage and cheese specialties that goes perfectly with a cold beer. The service at the Harlachinger Jagdschlössl is first class. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. Even at peak times, the team remains professional and courteous. The location of the restaurant is also ideal, especially for a relaxing evening after a walk in the countryside. The connection to public transport is good and there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. Overall, the Harlachinger Jagdschlössl is a must for anyone who wants to experience Bavarian cuisine at its best. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

Really extremely good. The Wiener Schnitzel was outstanding. The chef knows his stuff 1000%. Very rarely have I eaten such a good schnitzel. In many other restaurants, 80% of it is just convenience food. But things are still really cooking here! Mega! The service is also great, the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m. and I also got something at 9:20 p.m., which I've often experienced differently elsewhere, where it's just cold: the kitchen is already closed! (Although own, still open according to dues) So here too, great praise for sticking to your own online information. I'll definitely come back.

Very quaintly furnished restaurant, but the high tables are not great for sitting, there is also the fashion trend, everything is reserved and there is no space available for walk-in customers, the staff is adequate, but what really bothered me was that they lied to you in the beer garden, that nothing was free, although there was still a lot available, the food was very good, so two stars deducted because of the staff, something needs to be improved

Today I went to the Jagdschlössl with my friend, as I have often done before, and we wanted to eat a steak, as we have often done before. As I said, the steaks in the Jagdschlössl are legendary, we were horrified to find that the steaks had been removed from the menu - there was only a fillet steak on a special menu, but that didn't appeal to us. We then chose something else from the menu but we really hope that the steaks will be back on the menu, that was really the highlight. Otherwise, the service in the Jagdschlössl is excellent, the waiter is very attentive and very friendly. For this reason I can of course recommend the Jagdschlösser, but as I said without the bridge I probably wouldn't visit this restaurant again in a hurry. That was the highlight that I was always very happy about. I hope that the steaks will be back on the menu soon

Very tasty meat patties and funny service.

Unser Besuch im Harlachinger Jagdschlössl war ein absoluter Erfolg. Das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Im Sommer erwartet zudem ein Biergarten die Gäste. Bereits beim Eintreten wird der Gast von einem freundlichen, hilfsbereiten und aufmerksamen Personal erwartet. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen, denn es wird für jeden Geschmack etwas geboten. Die Portionen sind sehr groß und die verschiedenen Gerichte sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist zudem mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr sehr gut zu erreichen.

Our visit to the Harlachinger Jagdschlössl was an absolute success. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The selection of dishes means every guest can find something. The portions are very large. But the most important thing is that the various dishes taste very good. The interior is beautifully furnished, which is why it invites you to linger. In summer there is also a beer garden awaiting guests.

We tried the "overnight fried oxenbackerl" and the "ofenfrischer pork roast". Both delicious. I strongly recommend the "caramelized kaiserschmarrn" for dessert.
