I'm thrilled. Delicious beer, very friendly staff, and absolutely fantastic food. I'll definitely pick up my food here more often.

I have two problems with this restaurant. One is that it's a seven-hour drive since I live far from Munich. The other is that they're closed on Mondays, so you can't eat there. The food is incredibly good. The portions are large enough to fill you up. Special requests are easily accommodated, and everyone who works there is very uncomplicated and friendly. Everything is clean; even the restrooms don't have an unpleasant smell. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

We've been here more than a dozen times now. Delicious and reasonably priced food, well-chilled and drinkable beer, very friendly and clever service. Kalle and his brother, the owners, have everything under control, are very friendly, and attentive to all guests. A true gem in the countryside, a lovely little inn that knows how to impress. Everything is clean, even the restrooms smell very pleasant, and you can immediately sense the dedication and motivation that goes into their work! Keep up the good work!

The staff were super friendly and charming, and the schnitzel and apple strugel were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, and beer was reasonably priced at around 33 yen. The Erdinger Gartenlaube in eastern Munich offers a typical pub and beer garden atmosphere. Good beer, typical food, and a pleasant location in an allotment garden complete the picture. I found it ridiculous that when paying (€340), my request for a last glass of wine was rejected with a "no way," even though I had tipped several times the amount. Absolutely unacceptable.

The food was also a real highlight: fresh, high-quality, and very tasty! We would like to thank the entire team for this wonderful day. Very nice location with children's playground and delicious food

The Echardinger Gartenlaube is a cute little beer garden with a children's playground next to it and is located right next to the gardens. The food was delicious. However, the portions are rather small. We had Wiener Schnitzel with roasted potatoes and salad with goat cheese. The roasted potatoes were cold and we were hungry afterwards. Unfortunately, the service was overwhelmed by the rush on Mother's Day and it took a very long 40-50 minutes for the food to arrive. The sometimes unskilled service mixed up many orders and created further problems. If there are a lot of people there you have to be prepared to wait.

The most beautiful garden in Munich. Green everywhere and that's why I will be coming back. We gave a try for the food. I was quite disappointed. Food was ok tasty, normal, price of Schnitzel was around 18 eur and plate was filled with side dish, Schnitzel was thin as paper (I know that Schnitzel should be thin, but this was probably see trough), I think there was in total, with parinade, 100g in that Schnitzel. In general the smallest piece of meat I had in Munich.

We come here regularly because it just fits all around. The restaurant is super nice and has a great, cozy atmosphere. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome - the owners and the entire team are always friendly and warm. The food is always really tasty and of high quality. The prices are absolutely fair. We look forward to our visit every time!

We looked for Bavarian food near our hotel and found it here. We had cheese spaetzle and crusted roast and it was the best meal we ate during our short trip to Munich. The service was also very friendly and we felt very comfortable. Absolute recommendation! 😁

It says on the maps and on the restaurant door that it closes at 10pm. We came from far away, took the tram, walked in the cold, arrived at 9:11pm and were told that they had already closed. Why don't they update the times?? Very inconvenient.

Totally nice hosts. Great kitchen. If you're lucky, you'll have world-class sour veal lungs at the weekend. All in all, only recommended.

Non-touristy place with excellent food and service. 100% recommended

We ordered two meals for delivery using their link to a foodbooking.com website. One meal chosen was a vegan stew optionally with sausage. We wanted it to come with the sausage, which implied an extra fee. Apparently they received –and delivered– the vegan alternative with no sausage, although I'd paid the extra fee for the sausage. As I asked for a refund, they didn't apologise but told me that I received what I ordered. And refused to reimburse my money. As I wrote in my email to them: There is no second chance for the first impression… Never again.

For the first time since the change of tenant (we were regular guests at Dragan's - the successor only saw us once...), we went to eat in the Echardinger Gartenlaube again on a recommendation - what can I say? It was easy 🔝🔝🔝 A nice, clear menu with an additional “seasonal menu” - it’s perfect! We had the Viennese schnitzel of veal with lukewarm potato salad and a side salad - it was simply awesome 👍 Furthermore, the entrecôte of beef with grilled vegetables and a side salad and that was also really tasty 🤤 😋. Both at a reasonable price - 5 ⭐️ The service is super friendly, very attentive and empathetic, knows her job. Class! You feel very welcome 🤗 We had our dogs with us - that wasn't a "problem" - on the contrary, the restaurant is very dog-friendly and the dogs were also "taken care of". 🙏 The furnishings and sanitary facilities without much ChiChi - very clean and just in keeping with the location! We'll definitely be back - there are still some “exciting” dishes that we have to try (e.g. the burger or the caramelized goat cheese) on the menu 😉 We are already looking forward to the beer garden season 💪 Please keep the standard and carry on like this - then we will have our gazebo again and these new (old) regular guests 😉Thank you 🙏

Insider tip for hearty home cooking! We received a warm welcome and immediately felt welcome. In addition to the regular menu, there was also a seasonal menu that offered interesting options. The service was friendly and attentive, and both drinks and food were served quickly. The burger with fries was a real treat - juicy, tasty and at a fair price. The 1/4 duck in particular was a highlight. I don't want to give too much away - just stop by yourself and let yourself be surprised by the delicious food! As for the decor, some may find the ambience simple, but it's perfect for the location and what the place offers. We will definitely be back soon!

We didn't feel like cooking again today. I like coming here. Children first! My child is very happy that she is the first to be served her food, including any special requests. The portions are generous and down to earth delicious. When the weather is nice, it's wonderful to be able to sit outside. Inside has been renovated with pleasant colors. Wir waren jetzt zweimal in vier Monaten hier und obwohl es zum Oktober 2024 einen Pächterwechsel gab, haben wir beide Male sehr gut gegessen. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und kommt heiß und schnell, man konnte deutlich hören wie das Schnitzel geklopft wird. Die Teller sind professionell vorgewärmt, so dass das Essen auch wirklich heiß kommt. Das Ambiente passt zu einem Restaurant an einer Kleingartenanlage. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden wiederkommen.

With the new landlords, the restaurant has undergone a lasting change; hospitality and coziness are obviously at the top of the agenda. In addition, a new kitchen that can definitely be described as upscale, the previous meals tasted excellent and all at fair prices. For example, at the beginning of October I was able to enjoy the hut cordon bleu and days later the classic schnitzel - both times everything tasted delicious. Inspired by the “tasty” cuisine, I decided to celebrate my birthday last Friday in the “Stüberl” (adjoining room). There were ten of us and we were really surprised. We were treated to a 5-course meal - every course was a feast for the eyes and the palate. My conclusion: Sensational!!! Hopefully the innkeepers will continue to have the inner incentive to run the restaurant in such a welcoming manner and to cook such tasty food for a long time to come.

Wunderbar! We wanted to try some more Bayerische cuisine and found this restaurant by chance. Tucked away in a back street in Berg Am Laim, a pleasant suburb, it was unpretentious but the reviews were great so what the hell! We booked on line an hour before our chosen dinner time on a Friday evening and when we got there, it seemed almost full. I guess we got lucky! Well, after a friendly welcome it proved very lucky indeed. The food was amazing - pork loin with polenta and sauerkraut and pork schnitzel. Portions were generous but left room for dessert - or so I thought! My pancakes with cinnamon sugar and roasted almonds could have fed an army! My wife's apple strudel was superb. The waiting staff were helpful but no English menu meant Google translate was necessary. At the end of the meal a complementary schnapps sealed the deal and we walked back to our hotel very happy indeed.

The food is top. We wouldn't have thought that this slightly hidden economy would cook so deliciously. The waiter was also very friendly. Had veal schnitzel. You can hear the knocking from the kitchen, so it's freshly prepared. The only thing that justifies the star deduction is that you ordered a Cola Zero and then the Cola came, but some Crystal Colazero which is absolutely not my taste. If there had been better communication beforehand that this was such a mess, we would have ordered something else.

This traditional Beyern restaurant had all the highlights of local food: schnitzel, kartoffel salad, keizerschmarrn you name it. There's a friendly staff who checks in on you regularly. I had ordered a bit too much and it was not a problem to take it with me. Ambiance is nice, very traditional. You can sit both inside or out.

Became almost obsolete after the change of ownership. Mediocre standard quality with somewhat small portions. There was previously a Balkan grill here, which was nice. Now it's the next random German inn, of which there are more than enough better alternatives in the immediate vicinity.

Very friendly service. Eating well... Wiener Schnitzel has more parade than meat. Potato salad, why is there mustard in it? Unfortunately it doesn't taste that good at all. Onion roast, very mixed meat... Fish, breaded, not of high quality. If you want to eat in Munich for a low price, you're in good hands there, and you can eat standard dishes, but you shouldn't have high expectations. The fact that the portion of apple cake cost €9.50... was very steep. But very good for that.

Wir haben meinen Geburtstag mit ca 45 Gästen gefeiert. Allen hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren sehr gut bemessen und alle sind gut satt geworden. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Organisation war perfekt und der Wirt war sehr unkompliziert und flexibel. Der Preis war absolut fair. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

We are there on June 11th. The food was excellent, We had the Asparagus with Pikeperch filet and the Wienerschnitzel. For dessert, we had the Kaiserschmarrn. Yummy! The service was friendly and prompt.

Generous portions, fast and well-groomed service. We chose it because it was close to our accommodation (sandic hotel). We took 2 goulash with dumpling, 1 cutlet, 1 roast beef with onion sauce, chips. 2 beers, water for a total of 80 euros. I advise.
