Koreans, come here. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. You should definitely come here. I'm going again today. The schnitzel is a huge portion. I could never finish it alone.

Some of the best white sausages in town, and at an unbeatable price. Plus, the service is incredibly friendly. What more could you want?

I called on Sunday at around 21.30 to reserve a table on Wednesday at 20.00 for two. The waiter took my name and my number and reserved it. I called on Wednesday to ask if I could come a few minutes earlier like 19.45 but they told me that there was no reservation for me and that the restaurant was fully booked. I insisted and explained myself but they just told me they probably didn’t book the table in the system on that day or they forgot to do it. And they treated me like it was not their problem. And risked not finding another place to go eating

Initially, we felt very comfortable at the Augustiner Drei Mühlen in Munich. A waiter with a beard and glasses behind the bar was particularly friendly and attentive, the beer was nice and cold and well-poured – a promising start. Unfortunately, the impression soured when the food arrived. It was served in a pan, but was only lukewarm and got progressively colder towards the center. When I asked for it to be warmed up a bit, the pan was taken away without a word. After about 10 minutes under the salamander grill, the dish returned hot, but far too hot: the crackling on the roast became soggy, and the flavor was almost completely lost. The beer sauce was practically boiling. In addition, it was noticeable that the menus were quite old and some were even falling apart. Overall, the visit was mixed – good service and cold beer, but unfortunately, disappointing food and a somewhat dated atmosphere.

This is my favourite restaurant in Germany! Wow, what an experience. This felt like a true German night out, the beers were flowing, the people were friendly, the wieners were schnitzeling. The food was amazing, and the staff were so welcoming. If anyone asks me where to go in Munich, this is it. My only regret is that I don’t live in Munich or I would be here every week.

I can only agree with the innkeeper's reply to "Imi." The food during our visit was exactly what we would expect from a proper, traditional Bavarian inn. There were three of us, and we ordered the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle), the roast pork, and the Schnitzel Cordon Bleu. All three dishes were very tasty, freshly prepared, and the portions were generous enough to satisfy our appetites. The Schnitzel wasn't deep-fried but pan-fried, which is quite a rarity these days. The roast pork wasn't dry at all. It was wonderfully tender, and together with the dumplings and the delicious gravy, it was absolutely delicious. The Käsespätzle were also very tasty. The staff was very attentive, even though they were clearly very busy, as the restaurant was quite full on Saturday evening. We were served quickly and very kindly. All in all, we had a lovely evening and can highly recommend this restaurant!

I was at Augustiner Drei Mühlen this evening and I absolutely have to share my enthusiasm. I received a very warm welcome upon arrival, and the service was exceptionally good from beginning to end. The entire team was attentive, professional, and always available without being intrusive. I'd especially like to mention the blonde server who truly made the evening special with her friendly manner, humor, and perfect sense of the guests. You could tell she wasn't just good at her job, but did it with genuine passion – you could feel it in every moment. The Augustiner Drei Mühlen also completely won me over with its culinary offerings. The food was superb: fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. Whether main course or side dish – everything was cooked to perfection and of high quality. The cozy, Bavarian-inspired ambiance perfectly complemented the experience, instantly creating a feeling of well-being. Overall, I felt very comfortable the entire time. The combination of friendly service, excellent food, and a thoroughly pleasant atmosphere makes this restaurant a real insider tip for me. The Augustiner Drei Mühlen also completely won me over with its cuisine. I will definitely come back and can absolutely recommend the Augustiner Drei Mühlen!

Excellent food, big portions, good service.

Bavarian restaurant in an area a little far from the center and with more locals than tourists. The trilogy schnitzel was excellent, but I was alone and ate at the counter and waited half an hour or more for my food. Other couples who arrived later sat at tables (some shared) and were served much earlier. Everyone booked? My bad luck with the order? I wouldn't go back, even if the food is good.

The schnitzel with pretzel breading and sweet mustard was fantastic, the Spätzle unfortunately a bit disappointing, but then again, I'm from Swabia. The beer was very tasty and visiting with a dog was no problem.

Made a 2 hour dinner reservation for this restaurant a few weeks in advance. The food and service ended up being okay, nothing special as the hot dishes were served cold. The beers on tap are better choice, the schnitzel looked more tempting (but how many times can one eat schnitzel while in Germany!). Although the reservation was for 2 hours the female server initially tried to have us to leave earlier to seat others that walked in, then that was sorted out. At the end of the evening the male server kept asking about leaving a tip when we paid with a credit card (knowing we were not German), firmly said NO and will decide after if we want to leave a tip which will be in cash. Ended up leaving nothing due this odd behavior and as the service was very poor (had to keep flagging people to take our orders). Wouldn’t return due to aforementioned issues.

Great prices, great trip. Fantastic schnitzel selection in general. And the highlight is the schnitzel trip. If there are four of you, nothing else really stands out in this restaurant. Overall, really reasonable prices and top quality.

A true Munich original with really good prices and solid, traditional cuisine. A particular highlight is the best lunchtime deal: two original Magnus Bauch Weisswurst sausages and a pretzel for €2.95, and Schnitzel Day, when most schnitzel specialties are especially affordable. They have great beer from Augustiner Bräu München, and in the evening, they serve it on tap. Reservations are essential, as the restaurant is always packed.

The Drei Mühlen is simply a solid Augustiner inn. The schnitzels are really good, but the other dishes are also quite respectable. The service is exactly what you'd expect in a good inn. It's generally a bit noisy, but that's due to the rather small dining room; it's something you can live with.

I'm almost speechless. I can't explain the 4.6 rating. The pork knuckle was incredibly dry, and the plate arrived practically cold. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were presumably made with cheese and cream, but definitely not mountain cheese. The pretzel was rock hard. The pork loin was also dry and certainly not pork tenderloin. More like a piece of pork back, overcooked to death. So, I'd advise against eating there. For a total of 70 euros, you expect much more.

It's a huge portion, and it comes with sides and sauces. Everyone will definitely leave satisfied. I always feel very comfortable and welcome here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A typical Augustiner tavern atmosphere. A bit noisy, staff consistently friendly, food hearty but nothing extraordinary. Definitely recommended. Small mistakes can happen, but these are immediately rectified with an apology. That's all that's needed. Reservations are recommended for larger groups.

The waiters are very rude. Especially a waiter from last night. We are a group of foreigner and we were very badly treated. They obviously didn’t want to give us a table and said directly “we don’t have a table for you” after making us wait for hours. We were respectful and polite. We felt the vibe really off and kind of a xenophobic treatment. We then went to Roecklplatz and it was such a wonderful experience! The waiter was super nice and the food amazing. Please go there and forget about this horrible place

The restaurant is usually busy and quite noisy, so it's best to make a reservation in advance, otherwise you'll quickly find yourself in line. The staff is super friendly and works very quickly. Overall, good value for money and definitely worth a visit!

Well, I actually expected more. Unfortunately, the food wasn't convincing, as it was very blandly seasoned and some of the meat was tough. The roast consisted of 60% fat rind. If you go out to eat as a couple, you'll inevitably be seated at a table for six. If you don't like that, you should choose another restaurant. The service, however, was first-class and very friendly.

We wanted to eat, but only after a two-hour wait were we each served a beer. The staff was arrogant, rude, and inattentive. They didn't deserve two guests like us who, despite our great patience, didn't even look at us. We understand the Oktoberfest chaos, but when we arrived, the number of guests was very small. Not recommended unless you're prepared to wait at least three hours for your food!

Disappointing service and quality despite, or perhaps because of, the low prices. One of my worst restaurant experiences and never 5 stars (!) for me, but apparently there's a certain clientele here that likes that. Despite a group reservation, the table was not prepared, neither clean nor set. We waited over 30 minutes without being served once. Only after getting up and asking a server were we finally able to order. No improvement after that: - Dishes were missing (including a main course, pretzels) and we had to actively request them again - No request for additional drinks Weißwurst breakfast - Very cheap, but reflected in the quality - Sausages mediocre, not properly warmed when served - Pretzels not fresh / discount store quality

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my visit. We ordered a veal schnitzel, but received a very tough pork schnitzel. We immediately politely informed the wait staff, but the only response from the kitchen was that it was supposedly a veal schnitzel. We were very friendly and respectful to the wait staff at all times and objectively pointed out problems with our food. Although the billing was incorrect and the bills were mixed up, we accommodated you. However, if you are unable to deal with customers who remain consistently polite and friendly, then this may not be the right career for you. Furthermore, I find it very inappropriate that you addressed me by my last name here. Have you ever heard of data protection law? Personal data may only be used for the purpose for which it was collected. It may not be published or shared unnecessarily. A Munich original with heart and hops! Anyone who thinks happiness isn't served in a glass has never been to the Drei Mühlen! Here, the Augustiner beer flows so fresh that even the Isar River is jealous. The service? Faster than a shandy in the English Garden, and always with a smile. The food is a poem – the pork knuckle is crispy like a Bavarian winter morning, and the Obazda (traditional Bavarian sausage) is creamy like a compliment from Grandma. In short: If you're not having fun here, you've probably lost your temper. I'll be back – and bring my friends. Cheers and see you soon!

I've been to this inn several times now and I'm impressed every time. The food is truly outstanding – freshly prepared, lovingly presented, and simply delicious. The staff is always attentive and hardworking, making you feel immediately welcome and in good hands. The beer garden is also a real highlight: cozy, well-kept, and perfect for enjoying a cool drink on warm days. And don't forget – the sweet mustard here simply tastes the best! All in all, a place I can absolutely recommend!

We were at the 3 Mühlen again on Saturday. Spontaneously with eight people, the waitress (I think her name was Jessi) told us that everything was fully booked tonight, but if it was okay with us, she could offer us a table for 1.5 hours. We found that really flexible. She was also really friendly. The food was excellent, as always, and we were seated super quickly. I can highly recommend the Drei Mühlen 💯‼️

Never again! Bad food, bad service. We waited forever before we were even served. Then there were billing errors. The food wasn't good (the schnitzel was hard and chewy) and simply way too expensive. I strongly advise against this restaurant. Addendum: I received a reply to this review. We never met this gentleman. He wasn't present at all during the situation and is misrepresenting everything. We didn't want the schnitzel for free. That's a lie. We wanted to pay for what we received (pork schnitzel). The waitress assured us in the meantime that she would adjust the bill. And after the first bite, we complained to the waitress that it was a pork schnitzel and that's all we would pay for. She took note. (Even for a pork schnitzel, it was inedible. Just hard and chewy.) Regarding the ban: You don't seriously think we'll visit your restaurant again. Not for any money in the world. Addendum 2: Unfortunately, another addendum is necessary, as the owner apparently can't quite decide on a strategy. :D The response to my review has now been updated. At first, he seemed to know exactly what was going on and accused us of not wanting to pay for our meal. Which isn't true. He accused us of enjoying the meal and only complaining afterward that it was a pork schnitzel and not a veal schnitzel. Which was also a lie. We were banned from the premises. Now he has deleted this reply and accuses me of being a different kind of restaurateur and of wanting to harm him. (They're doing it themselves right now!) They should be ashamed of themselves. Treating customers like that. I've truly never experienced anything like this before.

Our visit to Drei Mühlen was unfortunately disappointing. Upon arrival, we had to wait 30 minutes before we could order. The waitress was friendly, but the service was generally rather inattentive. The selection of dishes initially sounded promising, but the quality of the food unfortunately didn't live up to that. The schnitzel we ordered was very tough and tasted more like pork than veal, which was truly disappointing. The white sausages were also not of good quality, and the pretzels were hard. In the end, there was an error on the bill and some arguments. It left the impression that something was wrong with the service and the kitchen. This review is honest and based on our experience, without any personal motives or competitive pressure—we were simply a group who expected a pleasant morning but were unfortunately disappointed. What a shame!

How can the owner talk such bullshit? Making us as a group and the person who canceled that one schnitzel look so bad really makes the situation a disaster. Up until the point that something went wrong, everything was peaceful and fine. People just complained about the wrong schnitzel. Nothing more. The owner could have billed us as incorrect. But no, a discussion had to start. And here in the comments, every guest from that table needs to be banned from the premises. The plate was by no means empty. Because after the first bite it was said that it was the wrong schnitzel. The staff said twice that they would check, but the only answer they got was that it couldn't be. So it stands by their statement when the server says at that moment, okay, we'll take it off the bill. Of course it's better to portray us as liars as a group afterwards. And to make us, as guests, seem like we want this one meal for free. (10 people, each with three drinks and one main course.) One meal doesn't make much difference. By the way, I thought my meal was great. It was delicious, and the service was excellent. So rethink your approach to bad reviews.

Incredibly unforgiving of mistakes. Mistakes are fine, but they must be acknowledged... The wrong schnitzel was brought, and independently of that, mistakes were made in the billing, for which we were reprimanded. Response to the reply from "Drei Mühlen" (6:28 p.m.): The facts are being distorted here. We reported DIRECTLY that we had received a pork schnitzel. The waitress then said that we wouldn't be charged for it, or rather, that we would be charged for a pork schnitzel and we could eat it. No sooner said than done. In the end, we wanted to pay for the pork schnitzel – as agreed – but were threatened with calling the police because the staff insisted on paying for the veal schnitzel. We didn't want it for nothing. That's why I'm saying that the facts are being distorted here. Anyway. In the end, we paid for the veal schnitzel, even though it was a pork schnitzel, because we thought it was too stupid. But it was still worth a 1-star rating. Best wishes and have a nice evening!

Once arrived we had to ask someone to serve us. Didn’t feel very friendly at all. Not only that but the veal schnitzel was impossible to cut with the butter knives provided, let alone chew. Compared to the veal schnitzel I had the night before at another restaurant, I wish I didn’t spend 23 euros on veal that was so overcooked and chewy. Also a bit sad to see replies from Augustiner on other people’s reviews…banning from the premises because service and food was not up to par…rather than being so aggressive, maybe offering improvements and better service to guests can improve the company’s image. Basic people and business skills.

Typical Bavarian food, but away from the tourist center. Easy to park nearby and get a table without a reservation (at least on weekdays). Attentive waiters, delicious and plentiful food, and reasonable prices for the amount served (compared to what's typical in Munich). Highly recommended.

We were there for Schnitzel Monday and had a very pleasant evening. The portions are huge, and there's a vegetarian option. The service was extremely friendly. The tattooed waiter, in particular, was incredibly attentive – he immediately noticed when our glasses were empty and gave us appropriate recommendations. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back!

We were there for a Weißwurst brunch. We just managed to snag the last seat. The staff was super friendly, a bit overwhelmed because they were so busy. I wish they had more support. The man behind the bar was rocking the boat when pouring beer, though. The beer was delicious.
