Best Weisswurst breakfast in Munich!

I had an excellent dining experience at Augustiner Drei Mühlen. The schnitzel was absolutely perfect—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and full of rich, authentic flavor. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had in Germany. To top it off, the dessert was just as impressive. Beautifully presented and delicious, it was the perfect ending to the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy traditional cuisine done right. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was the best meal we had in a week in Bavaria. The pork, spaetzle, cordon bleu, and powidltatschgerl were all flavorful and wonderful. Definitely get a reservation, because the place is small and gets busy, and the staff will be pretty busy, too. It's definitely worth the trek outside the city center!

This was our first and last time eating here. We had liver dumpling soup and a farmer's feast, among other dishes. The farmer's feast was mediocre; there was far too much broth in the cabbage, which almost drowned the rest. The liver dumpling soup had already tipped over and was therefore inedible. This kind of thing shouldn't be served. When we complained, we were told that there was currently no head chef and that this was the second time in a week that the soup had tipped over and was therefore bad. This is completely unacceptable, hence this review.

Seven of us were outside for a white sausage breakfast. It was busy (a public holiday), so we were prepared to wait, but it wasn't a problem. Everyone ordered great food. When the food arrived, we were surprised because we had ordered four pairs of white sausages plus two "Standard" sausage parades and one "Deluxe" sausage. All the other sausages were missing from the Deluxe except for the white sausages, of which there were strangely too many. So we asked the waiter, and he quickly reordered them. The nasty surprise came when we paid. We expected €11 for the "Deluxe" and the other "replaced" sausages were free. Wrong guess. I had to pay €8 more (ticket price + pretzel). It's a disgrace to pass your mistake on to the customer. Of course, we didn't get the pretzels either. I feel ripped off. A definite no-go!

A busy local restaurant specializing in schnitzels. They have a comprehensive schnitzel menu that offers schnitzel prepared in different styles. We ordered one with the pork marinated in the local sweet mustard and breaded with pretzel, another with the pork stuffed with obatzda, the local cheese spread, and both tasted wonderful. Definitely recommend for any schnitzel lover or anyone simply looking for a good Bavarian food experience!

The beer is good, of course, but the rest of the food was unfortunately nothing. The food was cold, tasted rather poorly, and some dishes were returned half-eaten. Salt/pepper and ketchup are a problem, and we have to ask the waiter several times. Even then, there's no guarantee that anything will be served. We won't be coming back.

If the place was to be judged by food, it is decent. I can't let pass how me and a friend (both of us CLEARLY not..."German") looking were politely invited to "seat inside because it might rain". This kind invitation was not extended to the rest of the clients, so I can only guess to its motivation Racism, I'm talking about racism

The schnitzel selection was very good, and the flavor was excellent. However, the salad could be improved considerably.

It was great because they were so kind and the food was cheap. Two Weisswursts and a pretzel came as a set for 2.95 euros, and I had schnitzel and beer for 22 euros. It was enough for two people. Since it's not near a tourist attraction, the prices are cheap, and the staff is kind and the food is delicious, so I definitely recommend it.

Unbeatably good and affordable white sausage breakfast between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. You should probably make a reservation on weekends. But today, on the bridge day, a spontaneous visit was no problem. Very friendly and attentive service.

So far, we've always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, several extremely unpleasant incidents occurred during our last visit, which left us very disappointed. First, there was a piece of glass in one of our beer glasses. Naturally, we immediately complained about the drink. However, we received no apology. Instead, after ordering another beer, which we were initially unsure whether it was again glass due to pieces of ice, the bartender addressed us in an extremely rude tone. We were told to "please drink water if we don't know what's going on." We find such behavior toward guests disrespectful and completely inappropriate. To make matters worse, about 20 minutes later, another guest was kicked and escorted out of the pub in front of the other guests—apparently by the proprietor himself. We were very shocked by these incidents, especially since we've had only positive experiences with the pub so far. We hope that these are exceptions and that such situations will be handled differently in the future.

We wanted to round off a pleasant evening with a few drinks at the bar. The waitress ignored us, didn't answer our questions, and couldn't meet the guests' eyes. She seemed dissatisfied and let the guests know it. In this case, she is also the reason for the review. The barman had a hard time cleaning up after her and keeping the guests happy. He, on the other hand, was very friendly and competent. We're used to something different from the service staff at Augustiner restaurants.

Tasteless veal Wiener schnitzel > convenience food, typical schnitzel size (2 pieces, same size), watery under the tasteless breading that was coming off. Returned immediately after 2 bites, potato and cucumber salad was okay. A shame.

We had reserved a table for 10 people for 11:00 a.m. on May 10, 2025. Despite the very nice weather and the corresponding crowd, the seats in the beer garden were reserved for us. We had a great time, great food, and great drinks. We were all thrilled and will be back.

Local with a real Bavarian atmosphere. White sausages with sweet mustard, crispy, fresh-smelling pretzels, hello and hello... you feel really good. Rustic furniture is part of it, as is a well-tapped König Ludwig wheat beer. Leberkas and other Bavarian delicacies are also on offer. Everything at pleasantly fair prices. Accessible by public transport is great. However, it seems that you should reserve seats in advance, otherwise it might become critical. Were there at the beginning of the week - with visitors from Hamburg and wanted to give the food another chance! Since the last time I visited with friends from Unterhaching, I was very disappointed! But that probably had nothing to do with delicious roast pork and schnitzel! Nothing was convincing this time either! Unfortunately…🥴 The prices are unbeatable - but if it doesn't taste good 🤨 and cold or sauce didn't work at all! The staff also tops the beer 🍺 Maybe we were just unlucky!!!

I was here with my wife as a tourist!!! I found the restaurant on google as it is near me!! I ordered 2 portions of schnitzel with potatoes, salad and bread!!! After a long wait of about 40 minutes, I received a single portion of schnitzel with potatoes because the waitress did not understand English!!! I waited for her to bring me the bread until the schnitzel I shared with my wife cooled down because I would have had to wait another 40 minutes!!! No salt, vinegar or oil was brought to my table for the salad!! In the menu it was written that the schnitzel costs 16 euros, I also bought 2 beers and 2 slices of bread and paid 32 euros in total!!! Inside, the floor is very dirty and the bathroom is a lot of mess!!! On the terrace, the tables were very close, as if you were pushing your chairs into each other!!! I would have liked another beer, but the waiter was always on the run and avoided looking at me, so I gave up and left!!!

We actually go to Drei Mühlen very often, but unfortunately our last visit wasn't that great. The food was great as always but the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. It took a long time until we could order, the drinks and food were put at the head of the table (we had to distribute everything ourselves). Two of us drank wine spritzers which were served in different glasses. One glass wasn't washed properly and still had lipstick on it. Tried to pay several times, no one came. Then we go into the pub to pay. You can't claim that it's exceptionally busy or that the team is understaffed. Everyone is pretty disappointed

Amazing experience! In order of importance: great beer, great service, great atmosphere and really fair prices. I came once for dinner and once for lunch and am looking forward to coming back also for the traditional Bavarian breakfast.

Rarely have I had such an unfriendly phone call. I wanted to know if there is room for 2 people. The gentleman on the phone said that everything is full at the moment. I asked whether you could drop by later if you were lucky, or whether there were fixed reservations for the whole evening. The gentleman didn't understand the difference between walk-in customers and fixed reservations and couldn't answer my simple question. He then said he didn't need to argue and then just hung up. Speechless.

When I feel like schnitzel, I like to go to Drei Mühlen. This is the specialty there, which is offered in the very best quality and in many variations. The roast pork is also great there. But be careful: the portions are really big! One point of criticism from me: sometimes the food could be a little warmer, especially the otherwise very good soup. There still needs to be work done on it. For example, my companion's sauerkraut was cold, the soups were lukewarm at best.

We had mushroom cream sauce with pretzel dumplings but the sauce was a bit too salty and unfortunately there was only one pretzel dumpling. If you love schnitzel you have to go there. We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. We were there after 1 p.m. today and received a very friendly welcome. The culinary schnitzel trip is brilliant. Always happy again

I went twice in 3 days. Day 1. 1st. The hotel manager recommended a local restaurant, so I went there, and it was the most delicious meal I had in Munich. The beer was fresh and much more delicious than other famous restaurants. Day 3. 2nd visit. I visited with good memories, but I was treated so poorly. The employee, who I suspect may be a racist, treats me as completely invisible. I sat outside, but they didn't take my order properly at first, so they made me wait for over 40 minutes for my food, and they didn't even come and check between meals, and they didn't really do anything. However, they did check other tables. They didn't even pay attention to my table and just threw it away. In the end, when I paid the bill, no matter how long I waited and called, he didn't come, so I went and paid the bill myself. I want to understand that it's because I'm busy, but I just can't understand. The level of service varies greatly depending on the server. I believe that any restaurant owner or manager must conduct an internal inspection.

I was really looking forward to white sausages with my wife. My little Chihuahua was also there because it was her birthday. We came to the restaurant after a long search from a parking lot. We greeted very friendly without any echo 🧑 after a while a super unfriendly person came and said that we couldn't sit there, there was no sign there. Then the other person came and placed us on another table 😭not finished yet, then the first person came again and said that we have to get out of there!!!!!!! Everyone extremely unfriendly!!!!!! We then left and our destination was Wintergarten in Schwabing. Top 👍 a sausage 1 € until 12 h. I knew this business because I am involved in gastronomy on a large scale. I never like to complain……but today it has to be.

Excellent, friendly, and fast service. True Bavarian fare at one of the lowest price points in town. Had the farmers plate which would have fed 3. Had 4 sausages, potatoes, saurkraut, fresh horseradish, dark gravy. Roast pork with crispy skin. Place has about 10 tables and seating for 50. Is packed with locals. Farmer's platter was 15.95 Euros. Highly recommend for authentic Barvarian German experience.

Welcoming. There was the Schnitzel menu, very good and cheap. The cutlet was not cooked as I like it but good. Very good potatoes. Small place but you can tell it is not touristy also because they did not ask for a tip and we spent much less than an Augustiner in the center. Goodbye

Nice restaurant with an unbeatable Munich breakfast offer. 2 white sausages with pretzels for €2.95 I ate 4 and my wife 2. I ate a half and my wife a Russian. In the end not 17€. The white sausages were very tasty. It could have been just a little warmer. The restaurant is small and quaint and was very busy on a Friday. Gladly again when we come to Minga.

I went for a late lunch at around 2pm. A cozy inn that meets all the requirements of all other overpriced restaurants in Munich. The roast with pretzels and potato dumplings were very good and the portion was more than generous. The coleslaw was a bit oily for my taste, but still very good. Finally the beer. Also good. Price-performance very good. You can still meet real locals here 😂.

Quite apart from the white sausage breakfast (which is very fair in terms of quality and price): the Drei Mühlen is a restaurant in the best and traditional sense: it's busy (it's "busting"), it's cozy, the service is good. You'll be happy to sit there longer.

Food was good Veal schnitzel a little thick and firm Beer from a wooden barrel, in one round there was also something from the barrel in the beer Unfortunately there was a bit of an unpleasant smell due to the construction site. We'll definitely come back when the hole in the wall is closed 😅

We come from Frankfurt and really wanted to go out for schnitzel on the first evening and this nice restaurant was suggested to us on Google. However, we didn't have a reservation (it was during the week) and got a table for two. The ambience was right, the waiters were all very nice and the prices were more than fair! We had 2 schnitzels, each with a drink. We ate there a second time later in the week and we were still very satisfied. If we are here again we will definitely come back!

Wonderful evening with a schnitzel trip. With a subsequent schnitzel coma. The Valentine's Schnitzel was my absolute favorite. Only the celery schnitzel was rather boring compared to the meat schnitzels. The side dishes also tasted wonderful.

Two white sausages (from Magnus Belly) and a pretzel for 2.95 euros! Until 12:00 p.m.! Plus an Augustiner Hell for 3.80 euros! It's almost like heaven for Munich residents! The service was very friendly and attentive and the economy was as you would expect! Was there with my girlfriend for the first time but definitely not the last!
