Extremely unfriendly staff - you shouldn't behave like that in the catering industry, even if you rest on the fact that "the reservations are reserved for weeks".

Very tasty German (Bavarian) cuisine | pleasing portion sizes | moderate prices | super-nice staff, very service-oriented | I was very impressed because the experience in this nice Bavarian inn was extremely enjoyable and I remembered earlier times when the guest was still king. Unfortunately, you can hardly find it these days. But it actually still exists in the Drei Mühlen restaurant. My last visit there was just a few days ago (beginning of September 2024) and I am really very excited. The guests who accompanied me were also very impressed. We sat outside in the nicely decorated bar garden. The street is inherently quiet with little car traffic. But the bar garden is so well prepared that you are really well shielded from the street. I like going there and can really recommend this restaurant. 😍. We were also lucky that hunger drove us to the inn early in the evening. Later we wouldn't have been able to get a seat (without a reservation) because it was extremely well attended. Which also speaks for this nice inn, which is still run with heart, love and commitment.

Augustiner Drei Mühlen is a recommended restaurant in the heart of Munich. We came for the white sausage breakfast, because you can get it here between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. for just €2.95 with butcher quality; The other dishes are also within a reasonable price range. The employees are very friendly and relaxed, we were served quickly. A reservation is recommended, otherwise you can come shortly after opening and then you will still find enough space.

Really recommended. Not only are the employees relaxed and funny, but the food tastes great and at a reasonable price. The white sausage breakfast, with two white sausages, sweet mustard and a pretzel, is available between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. for €2.95. This price is unbeatable. But other lunch dishes, such as currywurst with fries, only cost €8.95 on weekdays until 2 p.m. In other restaurants you pay significantly more. Nevertheless, the quality of the food is no lower than anywhere else. The white sausages were cooked so that they easily came off the skin. There is a bus stop right next to the restaurant. Card payment worked. It is recommended to come right at 10 a.m. because from around 10:30 a.m. it became increasingly crowded.

It's a really good place to eat in a traditional Bavarian restaurant. The place is small but has tables outside. The food is really good and affordable the service is effective and warm. I had a great time and all that walking was worth it. Make sure to walk around the neighborhood as there are many local breweries and restaurants and it is very cute.

The price was reasonable and delicious!! I had a really good meal😍 It might be a bit salty for Koreans, but I think it would be perfect to eat with beer. The portion size was so large that it was perfect for two adult women to eat one menu. I almost couldn't eat the schnitzel so I took it out... haha. I ordered two menus and it came to about 16 euros per person! The servers were friendly and I was overall satisfied with the restaurant!

Were not served for a very long time and had to ask for our orders several times. When paying, I noticed that the vouchers from Munich Voucher Book were no longer valid.

The food was very tasty, but the atmosphere wasn’t great. We were seated next to trash bins, which were so stinky. The staff was kind and moved us, but there were still a lot of flies both inside and outside. I don’t think it’s always like this, but it did affect the experience, so I can’t give a full five stars

I was firmly convinced that I had already given a review here, but apparently not 😳 And even if that's the second one, it's fine, because the store also deserves double 5 stars. I've been going there again and again for 5 years. Here you can get Bavarian and old Bavarian cuisine at a very high level. Slaughterhouse classics such as offal that even the biggest skeptics will enjoy. And if that's not enough: all at very fair prices! This also remained the same over the 5 years. The beer here is not only fair but also cheap! Please keep everything like this! A little disclaimer: we're talking about an old Bavarian tavern here: there's meat here, beer is drunk here, you sit down with the tables half full and there's also carving here (so there's a background noise), and all of that is good so! If you don't like that, you might be in the wrong place.

Authentic Bavarian inn - (I ate outside) - friendly service, large portion (the mixed side salad was really a mixed salad, as I now get more “green” than anything else in many restaurants). reasonable prices and of course Augustiner beer.

Here they drink the worst Aperol in all of Munich. Warm, without ice and simply with lemon. Zitrooone! 😾🍋 At 2 p.m. we were simply told that we had to clear the table because it was reserved for you at 7 p.m. 😂 but then we weren't allowed to pay 👀 crazy.

Augustinian is Munich culture and this is exactly what needs to be preserved. The service is multilingual, courteous and very polite. We always check whether the guests can still find space somewhere. The food is incredibly tasty and I don't need to say anything about the beer. And if you don't honor this quality at prices that are close to the people, then go somewhere else and keep complaining about your 5.50 half.

Apart from the taste of the food, I unfortunately can't say anything good here, it's a shame... after we waited forever for a card and then only got one for 6 people, the completely cold food arrived later. The sauce from the bread dumplings had already formed a skin and the fried potatoes from the schnitzel were no longer even lukewarm. After the food went back into the kitchen with an annoyed look and a groan, the waitress didn't even apologize. Only the gentleman behind the counter apologized again for the cold food (hence at least the one star). The best actually came at the end: Despite the poor service, each of us gave a decent tip (more than 10%). When someone at the table gave less, the same unfriendly waiter told him that he hadn't tipped enough and “whether he was serious”.. no words for that. I work in the catering industry myself but something like this really leaves my mouth hanging open. Unfortunately, something like that doesn't work in service. Despite the delicious food, we won't be coming back.

The scrambled eggs are absolutely world class! Really the best thing I've eaten in Munich so far. Sausages, pretzels, beer, everything is great! Always enjoy going here.

The schnitzel selection is great as are the other options on the menu. Unless you are very hungry, think twice before ordering a starter as portions are generous!

You pay more elsewhere. The service was very friendly and quick despite the house being full throughout. Clear recommendation, it's best to reserve early, especially if you want to sit outside, it was very full both times. The location is also very pleasant on a smaller street with little traffic. The best way to get there is by bus, the stop is less than 5 minutes away and the buses come very often.

At Augustiner Drei Mühlen you can get good Bavarian cuisine. The atmosphere is quite rustic, but appropriate. However, the tables are very, very close together. So you don't have a lot of space and the volume is really extreme. The food tastes good. Unfortunately, each of the dishes was lukewarm to cold (except the dumplings) and the sauces tasted a bit like packets of sauce. Of course I could be wrong, then it just wasn't 100% my taste. Otherwise the service is really very friendly and accommodating. Even when there is a lot going on.

Great Schnitzel and cold,fresh Augustiner beer on tap to a very affordable price. Only had about an hour as the place was fully booked, but food came in quickly after ordering. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

The B MY Munich vouchers will not be accepted this year because the publisher made a mistake. Overall it was very loud during the visit. The rolled roast was very firm and the meat didn't taste particularly good. Service as always very good.

During our visit, numerous other guests visited exclusively to drink. At my seat outside right next to the entrance door, the strong smell of urine spoiled my anticipation of the meal. The 3 Mühlen Schnitzel seemed to be coated with white sausage mustard underneath the breading. But friendly waitresses.

Was there for dinner yesterday with friends. The staff were nice and quick with service. The furnishings are, as the saying goes, rustic. So nothing special. The food was ok. There are quite a few Bavarians. Restaurants in Munich with similar prices but better food. I wanted to redeem vouchers from a well-known Munich voucher booklet. It was explained to me here that the vouchers would not be accepted because Drei Mühlen was again included in the sales of the voucher book without the consent of the restaurant owner. But, said the service worker yesterday, you can therefore submit the invoice to the publisher and get the money back from them. I did that the next day. Ultimately, this attempt ended in a phone call with the sales department of the voucher book. It was explained to me that no one would be added to the voucher book without his consent. In fact, there are so many applicants for admission that only companies that have given written consent are accepted. Of course, afterwards I was annoyed by the service staff's misinformation. I do not tolerate this shabby spread of lies in any way. And if a guest is not treated honestly here, I continue to ask myself what else the inn is lying about. Anyway, I don't go there anymore.

Really nice and authentic Munich brewery. You will find very good specialties there, notably (Liebhaberplatte) which is heart/liver based but very good in a perfectly cooked sauce. The waiter will serve you the beer directly 🍻 from the barrel! Above all, don't forget to book in advance as it is often full.

Prices are ok, unfortunately it was already dirty outside. Old napkins and the like on the floor. On the way to the toilet the floor through the economy was also dirty. The toilet smelled very much like urine. Getting a peek into the kitchen on the way back out. The floor there was dirty too. Not a good impression. Food was ok, but nothing more. Meat warm. Cold dumplings. Rind so hard you couldn't bite parts. Unfortunately not again.
