A really great location. The staff are friendly and the food is good. Ambience is clocky and with hard rock Provide the café with appropriate inventory. Only the price/performance ratio is not right at all. Just under €60 for two burgers and two beers. Quality and inflation aside, you can get it at least as good and much cheaper elsewhere. If you're just interested in the ambience/location and can accept the additional costs that come with it, you can come along. Card payment possible.

We were there on a Saturday evening and had a table by the window with a view of the Elbe. The drinks and food were delicious. A table reservation is always recommended. It was a lovely evening and we will be back.

Unfortunately, the waitress didn't understand my standard German (Swiss) very well. I ordered a coffee cream and received it black, although with a coffee spoon. I also had to show what I wanted when ordering the food. I can't quite understand it in Germany

Never go to this restaurant again! The tasteless burger was the last thing - it's better to go to a fast food chain. The staff is not able to close a door - they only have to call for the supervisor after asking... After that it still only works mediocre! Hamburg offers sooo much more - save yourself!

Very popular restaurant on the Landungsbrücken. The service is friendly and the food is okay, but not fancy. The highlight in every Hard Rock Cafe is of course the ambience and the collectibles of the various music stars. It's always very full there, even during the day, so it's important to reserve a spot.

We were there on a Sunday lunchtime. It was spontaneous and when we arrived it was already very full. We received a very friendly welcome at reception. The receptionist is very nice and friendly. After a table was assigned, things continued. Drinks were quickly ordered and then it was time to eat. There was a vegan who was also willing to eat vegetarian, but the dishes are not marked on the menu so you really have to read the entire menu. So the waiter stood impatiently at our table and pointed us to what seemed to be the only vegan dish. Well, food was ok. Prices are steep as befits a Hard Rock. The menu was a bit disappointing for us. Perhaps we could move more with the changing times here.

Hard Rock Cafe, Landungsbrücken. a franchise chain, food used to be better and it's all about merchandise. Service was ok, but expensive here. Been to the branches in LA and LV USA and apparently the only shop left here is the t-shirt shop next door. Too bad. . ..

No, no, no! - €56 for two burgers and two soft drinks. Absolutely undisputable. Any feedback to the actually friendly service staff was dismissed as “that’s just the way it is”. ... greasy onion mush and really not nice.

Service was good but found it very basic for a Hard Rock Cafe - decor was lacking and it could easily pass for a normal bar. Food was okay but was not asked how well I would like burger which resulted in a burger to undercooked for myself.

Everything was fine, I've been there several times and have always been satisfied.

We stopped by spontaneously and immediately got a nice seat at the bar and enjoyed our drinks. Very nice and attentive bartenders. Next time we're in Hamburg we'll definitely stop by again.

A great restaurant in a good location with great rock exhibits, worth seeing! Unfortunately the food wasn't that great, the nachos were bland, little cheese and far from legendary, the ribs were charred, not burnt, burnt, forgotten on the grill. We were seated at a table right where the door to the rooftop bar was. And every time someone went in or out, there was a drag. So real shitty place. Hamburgers weren't fried, looked more like they were cooked, not seasoned. Didn't taste good, was disappointed.

To be honest, my overall impression is a bit disappointing because expectations were very high. "The German's punctuality is 5 minutes ahead of time" and so we were at registration at 5:55 p.m. Unfortunately our table was not yet free at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The three older ones were allowed to sit on the comfortable sofa. The rest of us stayed outside in the cold because the entrance area would otherwise have been too full with another seven. Unfortunately, around 6:05 p.m. we got the first two tables at the entrance so it was often cold. The souvenirs on the walls of course exude a certain flair of fame and rock, but remain largely unnoticed because people (at least we) didn't want to walk around and examine the collectibles at other people's crowded tables. In fact, there are a lot of people walking around there, so the Google description "lively atmosphere" is a euphemism for a restaurant. It was clear to all of us that a HARDROCK Cafe is loud and that's part of it, but it wasn't the music, the videos of which are well presented on several TV sets, but the general noise level that bothered us. This may be due to the fact that it is one large hall (on the ground floor), but it is still crucial to the overall impression and we didn't like it at all. To be fair, I have to say that the Block-House on Jungfernstieg struggles with the same problem (at least on Christmas market Saturdays). The waiters were friendly and the food came quickly despite the house being full. Nothing was missing and there were no problems. Nowadays this has to be mentioned because of the lack of specialist staff and the service was very good. We had a variety of foods from chicken wings, nachos, sandwiches, burgers and ribs. Here the expectations were particularly high not only because of the price (29 euros for 3 rib blocks instead of one strand) but also because of the American origin and unfortunately they were not fulfilled. I thought it was a shame that there was only one flavor for the ribs. Then the ends of the ribs were partly black and even a little burnt. Compare my photo with the ones you can find on the internet under "spare ribs hard rock cafe". The fries were tasty and crispy. My wings as a starter weren't a hit either because they mainly tasted like Tabasco. I like spicy food, but unfortunately the vinegar taste prevailed. Due to the price structure, we skipped dessert. Although everyone only had one drink (including a delicious soda for 9 euros *cough*) and we had a children's plate, the fun cost us 350 euros. Anyone who has read carefully comes to 35 euros per nose, which is a high price level but justifiable for the location and the payment for the brand. But I don't have to have it that often.

Despite the fact that it was completely full, the super nice employees looked for a solution so that we could stay. Food one A, super tasty 😋 and everything freshly prepared.

For such a large chain, I would have liked more than one vegetarian dish on the menu. We ordered the vegetarian burger once as normal and once as gluten-free. The gluten-free burger was significantly smaller than the normal one, which is disproportionate given the price of €21. Price-performance ratio is generally disproportionate. The burgers tasted okay, but really nothing special. The vegetarian burger didn't even have any sauce on it. We won't go there again.

As a Hamburger, you rarely go to such tourist magnets. Today was the day and we liked it. Not only is there a diverse audience, but the staff is also very diverse. We didn't eat, but I had a very good espresso martini and a delicious hot gingerbread chocolate. I will come back just for the drinks menu.

Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm and the taste was nothing special for the price. The fries were also way too salty for my taste. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is very nice. But I don't need it again.

Another Hard Rock visited today, a place as always with a good atmosphere and atmosphere, the high level of service from Aleksandra and Ola couldn't be better 👌😀 as it should be, it also made me visit HR again during my next visit to Hamburg 😀. Not having chicken for burgers or similar on the weekend... a no go I'm disappointed.... no appetizer platters with mozzarella sticks, chilli cheese, etc. like other branches and then the chicken... too bad....

The location is already known as it is present in every city, a clean, well-furnished place, music as required. Kind guys despite the amount of people, good food as always and usual prices. With Hamburg card 20% discount on food and non-alcoholic drinks respected.

Friendly staff and, like everywhere else, good food, but the acoustics of the music could be improved.

The cooktails were much too strong and definitely have to be called hard cooktails. Food was actually quite good except that the mac and cheese was lukewarm or cold.

I'm from the US. I liked all the food because it's very American and it's a cool spot to go. I understand the hype. I don't like how, it seems to be a European thing, where you cannot make substitutions or alterations to meals. For example, I wanted to take onion off of a salad because I am allergic. The waiter said it's not possible because they premake the salad. I totally understand, but it seems odd to premake a salad because wouldn't it get soggy? Anyhow, that's the only downside is no room for changes. The sangria was delicious!

The food was ok for the price. The service was friendly, but unfortunately it was a bit difficult to communicate. The ambience is a matter of taste. It was simply too loud for us to be able to talk to each other properly. We had reserved a table for 7 people and luckily there were only six of us, as even with six of us the table was far too small and too narrow. We have gained one more experience and will probably not come back to eat again.

I was at the Hard Rock Cafe with my family on New Year's Eve and we all had a very nice evening. The food was really delicious and the staff there is really perfect! Totally friendly, dancing and singing every now and then with someone who makes it clear that the job is fun and enjoyable, they are always approachable and quick about any matter. Really a nice place for a New Year's Eve! More visits guaranteed!

We celebrated the New Year with you yesterday. And I have to say, I or we haven't had such a super, cool New Year's Eve in years. Everything was just right...live music, DJ, food and drinks. Not to forget the breathtaking view on your terrace at midnight. I have to say a lot of praise to the team at the Hard Rock Cafe, you are simply the greatest... you were quick on the move and always kept an eye on when the glasses were empty. And despite all the stress, you still celebrated and danced with us. It was like we were walking into 2025 with old friends. Many thanks to Essi, Natalia and everyone else, you are simply great. We came on a day when it was extremely busy. We hadn't booked a table, and the host at the door starts by sending us up to the rooftop bar so we could sit there. When we get up there there is no room, and we are sent down to the second floor. There we are received by the manager, who quickly finds us a table We both got a cocktail, and in addition we got a burger and twisted mac and chicken. The burger was good, the twisted mac was fairly tasteless.

Visiting hard rock cafe in every new big city i visit is a fun, especially for kids. Everything was good, no objections.

We visit every city where there is a hard rock cafe. This one had a small restaurant. The staff was busy with everything except our table and I don't like waiting a long time for drinks. The meat was well done, but because they didn't see us we couldn't say anything more about it.

I feel like the Hard Rock Cafe has reduced its menu variety compared to the past, but I'm still satisfied with the taste of each dish. The food is still authentic American cuisine. I had made a reservation and was seated on the second floor. However, the tables were quite close together, and there wasn't enough space to put my coat or bag during the winter. It felt a bit cramped.

Too bad, too bad, too bad. We had a long journey and were really looking forward to the meal at the Hardrock Cafe. But unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. Service was good. Ambiance was great, we had a table upstairs right by the window. But unfortunately the food was nothing. We have actually never eaten such a bland burger as we did here. The meat was seasoned 0.0. The "pizza" Magaritha in the children's menu was a pita spread with onions and tomato sauce. Garlic, so much that it was almost borderline adult-friendly. How can you call this a kids pizza?!? Luckily the pizza came with fries on the side, so at least the kids had fries to eat.

Clean dining area and excellent cocktails. Waiting service was a little lacking 🙄 compared to other Hard Rock Cafes that I have been to. Overall, however, I would dine here again.

Wir hatten vorab reservier, waren pünktlich da und wurden zügig zu unserem Tisch geführt. Der zuständige Keller konnte leider nicht gut/ kein Deutsch. Ok, also auf Englisch versucht, klappte relativ gut, leider durch dieses Kommunikationsproblem kein 2. mal die Karte erhalten um nach dem Dessert zu schauen, sondern die Rechnung.. naja, war dann nicht mehr zu ändern und wurde auf Pauli nachgeholt. Zum Ambiente: super tolle Ausstellungsstücke, mit kleinen Texten von wem und woher/ wann getragen. Kann man sich ansehen. Zum Essen: Vorspeise super, Getränke in Ordnung, Hauptspeise (hatten jeweils einen Burger) lauwarm, beim servieren die Pommes über den Schoß verteilt, geschmacklich waren die Burger leider nur Durchschnitt, Patty s waren sehr nüchtern und fad. Auch nachwürzen half da nicht wirklich, stellt sich auch als schwer machbar heraus. Service: in Ordnung, Aufmerksamkeit auf Grund der vielen Tische wohl in Orndung

Super nice and attentive service

The Hard Rock restaurants/cafés used to be a cool place to hangout and it would be expensive but high(er) quality. Nowadays it's just more expensive and compared to other restaurants/cafés it is simply not that great - one might say outdated...

A great shop and the food was great

We are from Hamburg and have been here several times. Yesterday was the last time. The nachos were an inedible, lukewarm mush. Spread out on a platter to make it look like more! After that we didn't feel like ordering anymore, especially since the prices are now outrageous. The service was terrible, we sat at the bar behind the bar, there were a lot of staff, but they were busy with themselves or holding on to the cash register and kept yawning heartily. Love all, serve all! Forget it, that was simply impossible. After being approached several times, we didn't collect anything, our money ended up in the receipt jar without a cent tip. Never again!

The burger bun was cold and the waiter was busy, so we ate the food as it was. The waiter got a little mad about not getting a tip. Hard Rock is usually an above average experience, but this time it was average.

As always, a very cool visit. For a rock fan there is almost no better place to go. The food is always delicious and the long drinks also taste very good. And of course a visit to the shop couldn't be missed.

Was there with a colleague on Saturday December 14th, 2024. We didn't have a reservation but spontaneously got a place for two people. Just wanted a little something to eat. Service was very friendly and prompt. Now comes the bad. For the price of the burgers, you got bone dry burgers. The fries tasted rancid. Most likely old fat. The location alone can't justify the price and poor quality. The last time I ate there was about five years ago. It was good back then. Unfortunately, I live in HH and can't recommend it.

Be careful when ordering - the side dishes are rip-offs! Burgers including fries are on the menu - none were received but the full price was charged. 2 burgers and 2 drinks 63 euros ?? Never again for this quality and poor service

Wir waren am Samstag da zum Essen. Das Essen war kalt. Die Preise dazu , viel zu teuer. Ich hatte mehr Zwiebeln auf meinem Teller wie Gurke und Tomaten. Schrecklich. Die Cola war schon abgestanden. Die Bedienung war nett. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder. Mein Tee war auch kalt.

The Hardrock Café in Hamburg can be easily recommended for fans of music history. The decor includes many beautiful exhibits from various musicians such as Johnny Cash as an example. The service was very polite and courteous, the food tasted very good and the price was reasonable for the quality. The waiting times were also moderate for a Friday lunchtime.

bad food , ok service, old and tired restaurant

The Hard Rock Café Hamburg impresses with its unique location on the Landungsbrücken and a clean, stylish atmosphere with typical rock'n'roll charm. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, which makes the visit particularly pleasant. The food – from classic burgers to ribs – is fresh, tasty and high quality. Although the prices are a little higher, the ambience and great service make the visit a special experience. A worthwhile detour for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a special atmosphere!

Went twice.in.my.visot to Hamburg - the day I arrived December 8 and the day before I left, December 12. December 12 they were having a private party, so were closed to the public. I explained that I took an Uber from my hotel and was leaving Hamburg in a few hours. They offered to feed me at the bar and the evening was saved! Kudos to the Hard Rock Staff!

Nice café, nice staff even if no one really speaks and asks how it tasted! Unfortunately the burger didn't blow me away, the burger patties were great, the rest didn't blow me away, what a shame!
