After living in Germany for almost 4 years I never had a friendlier waitress than Valeria. She absolutely made the experience great and made our night!

Phew, where's the hype coming from? Absolutely incomprehensible. It's overpriced, to say the least; they only serve junk food and hardly anything without meat. The room is rather dark, and the only view is through the window, and even that's rather limited. The chairs and tables are really worn out, and the number of memorabilia from music history is rather limited. All in all, we were very disappointed.

Classic tourist restaurant: Good location, service staff are hard-working laypeople who are nice, but have no idea about professional service and some of them don't speak any German. The food is just ok, but several burgers including side dishes taste very bland / boring / bland and at extremely high prices. The portafilter machine should be highlighted positively. We ate here for the sake of friends from outside who really wanted to go here. But there are so many better (American/burger) restaurants nearby that are actually much cheaper, so it will remain a unique experience.

There are delicious cocktails here, but I didn't expect a Hard Rock Cafe to close at 11 p.m. on a Friday.

We booked two months early through Get your Guide. The seat on the stairs was quite narrow and the people sitting next to us couldn't get up without us getting up too. The burgers that came, by the way for a total of €62, were a joke!!! Unfortunately, a little joke with a slice of meat on it. The manager then explained to us that they had to give money to Get your Guide for our booking and that's why they reduced the portion of food. I was now at Burgerking, huge burgers Secondly, no 30 € with drinks. Summary: Never again Hard Rock Cafe Hamburg. PS: We were previously in Cologne with Get your Guide, it was super tasty and not overcrowded. Everything fine. Hard Rock Cafe Hamburg is just a rip-off and ripping off the guests.

A delicious burger, carelessly served, and exorbitantly priced. Others could make it more appealing. For dessert, a delicious chocolate milkshake for about €8. The view of the harbor is interesting, but nothing more.

Highly recommended! Even though the location was already full, we got a seat at the bar. The waitress was there for us immediately and we were able to place our entire order promptly. Since we were thirsty, we ordered more drinks without delay and when the second round of drinks was served, we already received the food. The service was excellent, the food came quickly, was definitely freshly prepared and came to the table still hot. The location is a typically furnished Hard Rock Café. Despite the location being well filled, you don't have that typical train station flair and you could have a conversation at normal volume. We would love to come back.

Price performance of the burger is poor. Although the burger was specially ordered, it was partially raw inside.

We got a seat straight away. Unfortunately the waiters ignored us. After waiting for 20 minutes we left. The view on the roof terrace was nice. It wasn't that busy, when we went out the waiters were standing together in a group and chatting - for me it's the worst Hard Rock Cafe

Have been there for a pubquizz, which was quiet fun, even though quiet expensive for about 15 Euros. What is ridiculously overpriced is the food. The quality is below average, made with passion is something else. No idea why you would eat there, Hamburg has much more to offer.

A relaxed atmosphere, the music to match, and despite the popular and crowded atmosphere, you can always find a seat. The prices are a bit high, but understandable given the location and the name, and the portions are plentiful. The staff are colorful, relaxed, and quick.

The drink prices are already very high, especially when they're at least half ice. But the food is absolutely overpriced.

We were there yesterday and actually wanted to have a relaxing drink and maybe a bite to eat before the musical. When we saw the prices on the menu, we lost some of our appetite. So we opted for two cocktails, a Sprite, and a Coke. There's so much ice in the drinks that you (theoretically) only get half a drink... and that for €36...

The food is based on Mexican cuisine. You should be used to spicy food.

My first time on a Hard Rock Cafe and I am honestly disappointed. The staff were friendly but didn't know the full Menu so I missed on a drink I wanted to try. The place wasn't full but there was still chaos. Also on a place with the name HARD ROCK I wasn't expecting to hear Shakira's new reggaeton hit.

Ah, the Hard Rock Cafe—where tourists flock, burgers are overpriced, and you get to enjoy classic rock tunes while waiting way too long for your food. It’s got the usual Hard Rock charm: walls covered in memorabilia, a solid cocktail menu, and a vibe that says, “Yes, this is definitely a chain restaurant.” The location is actually pretty great, right by the Landungsbrücken with a nice view of the harbor—if you manage to snag a good seat. But be prepared: it’s always crowded. Hamburg has plenty of amazing local spots, so unless you’re a die-hard Hard Rock merch collector or really crave a “legendary” burger, you might wonder why you didn’t just hit up a proper burger joint instead. Still, the staff is friendly, the drinks are decent, and if you enjoy the whole Hard Rock experience, you’ll have a good time. Just don’t expect anything life-changing.

If you want to eat here, let Valeria serve you. She is the best. The HR Café in HH is highly recommended

I called to reserve a table for 7 people on the terrace. I then had to do this in English because the telephone operator didn't speak German. When we got there we were asked if we just wanted something to drink. Then we should take a seat at the counter in the interior. After discussion, we were assigned the one table that was in the shade. We were not allowed to sit at another free table that was in the sun. We ordered and when our drinks came they were simply slammed on the table. The spoons were missing from the 2 latte macchiatos. These were then brought and given to someone sitting with us to distribute. When we wanted to pay, the bill was placed on the table. When we then said that we would pay separately, they said that this was not usual in Hamburg and after discussion we were able to do this as an exception. In several other restaurants in Hamburg, Quartier 21 or Parliament, paying separately was not a problem. And the service staff at the Hard Rock Cafe was very unfriendly and abusive to us. I'm sure no one will see us coming here anymore.

Great food with a great view from the roof terrace. The only thing that bothered me was the employees' lack of German knowledge. I'm in Germany and have to speak English to get a seat and order food - that's not possible for me.

Went there with 2 children and (unexpectedly to be honest) it was totally child friendly. The ambience is obviously fascinating for the kids, but cult for us. Good service, we got a place for 4 people even without a reservation. Burgers were delicious - would be happy again as a special experience.

Hey, go to Hamburg and not to the Hard Rock Cafe? It's like being in St. Pauli and staying sober - so complete nonsense! You'll be in a good mood as soon as you walk in, if you're not already in a good mood after a stroll around the neighborhood. Here music history glitters, here the bass hums, and here worries fly straight into the harbor! Cocktail menu? Hell yeah! The Long Island Iced Tea blasts exactly as it should: lots of premium material, little jingling! Here we don't save money, we deliver. And believe me, after two of these you automatically look happier. Now for the food: The Bacon Cheeseburger – a real treat! Juicy, cheesy, with so much flavor that you'll want to hijack the boat in front of the window. Plus crispy fries that really taste like the free world. And the icing on the cake? A waiter who refills your drinks so quickly, as if it were his holy mission! And then comes the knockout blow: brownie with hot chocolate filling and a load of whipped cream that will make you wonder if the clouds of Hamburg are just hanging lower. Afterwards you fall into bed like a wounded sailor - but happy!

WOW a donde quiera que vayamos visitamos un hotel hard rock o una cafetería para tachar esa ubicación de nuestra lista y puedo decir hasta ahora que esta es de lejos mi favorita (aunque no tienen la famosa pizza de pan plano, hamburguesa necesitas cambiar esto 🥰). Caminamos hasta la roca dura desde el centro de la ciudad y nos tomó alrededor de 30 - 40 minutos a un ritmo lento que pensamos que era razonable xx Nos atendió la dominika encantadora, amable y bien educada que hablaba muy buen inglés, estábamos explorando hamburguesa como éramos desde el crucero, y tuvimos conversaciones encantadoras con dominika y todo el viaje estábamos buscando el mejor empleado que vemos para darles una postal de nuestra ciudad natal y ella definitivamente recibió este xx. Pedí la hamburguesa de queso de tocino BBQ que era una de las mejores hamburguesas que he tenido, venía con patatas fritas y el condimento en las patatas fritas eran deliciosos, ahora soy un comedor quisquilloso, así que quité la salsa bbq y añadí ketchup, pero la amable señora puso la salsa BBQ picante a un lado y fue encantador sumergir mis patatas fritas en xx también tuvimos 2 Coca - Cola's también, pero antes de entrar en la cafetería entramos en la tienda de roca dura y nos pidieron que giráramos una rueda que ganamos un 10% de descuento en la tienda o reasturant así que compró nuestro total a £ 29. 46 que pensamos que era un gran precio por el nivel de servicio y la calidad de la comida. Great food in a great atmosphere. Slightly higher price, but the portions will definitely fill you up. The waitresses were also very nice. Most of the time you should make a reservation. If you're lucky, you'll spontaneously get a table or have to wait.

It was very nice, the bartender (Bobby) was super nice and very engaging. Unfortunately I didn't try the food, but it looked delicious. The ambience was what a rock fan would like; with guitars and rock music.

We reserved a table and are totally satisfied. Your waitress Erzat in particular exudes calm and is still in the mood for fun despite the large number of guests. If we come to Hamburg again, we will definitely be with you.

A place could be offered even without a reservation. A great experience

We were there during the holidays at 1 p.m. and unfortunately we left very disappointed. There were 7 of us and we waited a good 45 minutes for 1 burger, 2 salads, 1 steak and 3 children's meals. The young waiter still tried hard and was very friendly. The music was so loud the whole time that it was hard to hold a conversation. The salad was delicious, but only consisted of leaf lettuce, dressing and chicken strips - unfortunately far too expensive for that. There were 3 men sitting next to us (at 1 p.m. at noon) who were visibly drunk and continued to fill themselves with small shots, bawling loudly and shouting across the room every 3 minutes. Apparently this is normal there (?) because no one from the staff even pointed out the other guests. Unfortunately for us it was the first and last time.

I've never experienced that for a simple mulled wine with a shot, you get charged extra for the shot and it's not even pointed out in advance. The waitress seemed very irritated when we ordered “mulled wine with rum” and her question was “You want mulled wine with extra rum?” As a guest, I don't derive from this that the rum itself will be more expensive than the mulled wine itself or that the rum will be added to the bill as an extra item. Just really cheeky and absolutely wrong. I feel fooled. And I won't talk to the manager for two drinks - the other waiter offered this to us. But I find it a bit silly to do this with two drinks. The waitress who served us was unfriendly and anything but service-oriented. Your claim that she asked us beforehand is simply not true! PS: the mulled wine was also almost cold and didn't taste good!

Cool location on the Elbstrom, but increased prices

Unfortunately the price is not justified for this meal. It was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. As many have already described, the size of the burgers is rather minimalistic, there is no salad or decoration on the plate. Unfortunately it is very carelessly prepared or rather slapped onto the plate. The children's pizza looks like a cheap convenience product and is tiny. Charging over €9 for this is almost cheeky. The service was friendly and quick, the toilets were very clean.

Always well attended, but with the music and the ambience it's no wonder for me 😉

Standard high level of experience I expect from Hard Rock

We asked if we could have a place on the terrace, unfortunately we were seated on a small, uncomfortable sofa at the entrance. Out of interest, we went up anyway, and were asked strange questions about what we wanted there. When we got to the top, the bar was open and the terrace was maybe 30% occupied. We drank our beer there in a relaxed manner with a view over the Elbe. We actually wanted to order something for the dog, as they advertise in the store with a card for dogs, but that was probably too complicated for the employees on site. So we don't really like being lied to and questioned...

Personally, I thought the food was just okay. We had ribs, which were good but not particularly tasty. I know how the meat falls off the bone and is super juicy. That wasn't the case there. The coleslaw was tough. I think the fries were good. In terms of price, I also found it far too expensive. But I think that's because of the name.

We were visiting Hamburg with friends who had never been to a Hard Rock Café. We then wanted to eat something with them there. The store was well filled, but you could still see a few empty seats from the entrance. After the lady at the entrance looked at us briefly, we were turned away because there was no more room. The funny thing is that the people wearing Rammstein T-shirts (the band was playing in Hamburg that day) got in without any problems (and no, they didn't have any reservations like we did). Well, we had a delicious meal in the brewery a few meters away! The Hard Rock Café's answer: the bar was full and the group that was allowed in after us was there with the same number of people. So the excuse doesn't apply.

Moin Folks, wenn man Karten für die/auf der / andere(n) Seite der Elbe vorliegen hat kann das Hard Rock Café an den Landungsbrücken ideal sein, da der Service wahrlich sehr flott und cool aufmerksam agiert👍🤩 Die Karte bietet für jeden etwas und Getränke unendlich und auch für jeden etwas. Ich war sehr begeistert und habe nichts auszusetzen, von daher „5“ klare Punkte.

We (2 adults, 1 child) were there today at 11:50 a.m. We were told that everything was currently occupied, but that they would call us in about half an hour if something was available. It's now 2:30 p.m. and no one has answered yet. This can also scare people away in the long run.

Service/waiter was very friendly and tried to serve quickly. Burgers were very tasty.
