Hard Rock Cafe in Hamburg

Great cafe! But we only had something to drink. Great service at the bar!

After dinner we went to buy souvenirs in the adjacent shop. A big thank you to Estefania for her extraordinary helpfulness! She patiently helped us choose the perfect hoodies and informed us that there was a discount with the Hamburg Card. Thanks to their great advice and tip, we ended up buying more pieces than originally planned. Estefania was very involved and helped us choose the hoodies. Above all, her patience and friendly nature made the purchase a real highlight :) Thank you for the great service! We'll definitely come back next time!

Went as a couple after a long day in the HRC. First we had to sit at the bar because we were only going to have a drink. When we decided to eat something, we first had to pay before we were allowed to move. The service at the new location was a long time coming. Full of anticipation, we first discovered that there was only one vegetarian dish. Well, okay. Maybe it also fits the theme of Hard Rock, we thought. I ordered The Big Cheeseburger and was really looking forward to it. When it finally came, the disappointment was huge. Two three fries (so it was really a very small portion of the side dish) without sauce - no request, no note on the menu. Well, even asking was difficult without the appropriate service. The burger itself was weak. The cheese is still almost solid but has no clear taste like the patty. Overall, a rather boring burger, where at least the bun and the other components were worth it. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether that's enough. We are a bit disappointed and don't plan on staying here again. Too bad!

Service was nice but you have to decide quickly. Personally, I read the map properly, but it was too slow to use. Otherwise very neat and clean friendly. My husband's burger 🍔 was dry and too expensive for the price. My food was delicious and would be recommended. We tried it and that was it.

We shopped with Estefania in the Hard Rock Cafe shop and received very friendly and courteous service from her. You have a great employee. We'd love to come back.

Great facilities, unfortunately very overpriced, especially for the food. A large Warsteiner was almost 7 euros, while the Pumpkin Martini cost almost the same. It's a shame, only guests who want to drink are seated directly at the bar even though the shop was empty. Otherwise everything is nice to look at and good old music.

We had something to drink there. The service was very nice. Our two dogs were even given a water bowl without being asked.

We were shopping at the Hard Rock Cafe and were assisted by the lovely employee Estefania. Estefania served us really very well. Very friendly, very caring, you just simply felt it was more than just a typical customer conversation. She really put a huge amount of energy into the customer service! She really made the shopping experience to a very pleasant event. I am thankful for the great service, that didn’t even make me doubt to visit the store again!

I've never experienced that for a simple mulled wine with a shot, you get charged extra for the shot and it's not even pointed out in advance. The waitress seemed very irritated when we ordered “mulled wine with rum” and her question was “You want mulled wine with extra rum?” As a guest, I don't derive from this that the rum itself will be more expensive than the mulled wine itself or that the rum will be added to the bill as an extra item. Just really cheeky and absolutely wrong. I feel fooled. And I won't talk to the manager for two drinks - the other waiter offered this to us. But I find it a bit silly to do this with two drinks. The waitress who served us was unfriendly and anything but service-oriented. Your claim that she asked us beforehand is simply not true! PS: the mulled wine was also almost cold and didn't taste good!

We continued our Christmas party here after the lights trip through the port of Hamburg. The ambience is OK, the food was partly OK - except for a salad that mainly consisted of onions and the complaint turned out to be impossible because the staff didn't understand - or wanted to understand (?) - what the problem was. The prices, however, are quite "salted" - for a milkshake (approx. 250 ml) just under €8 is not outrageous, but still hearty

Very tasty food Top service and nice staff

Three stars for the simple reason that there was almost no dish under €20. And the 'size' or quantity of the portions does not justify the respective prices for us. And unfortunately it only came to the table lukewarm. The food itself and the service were great. The cocktails were great. Too bad. Because of the 'pricing policy' there, we probably won't go to Hard Rock Restaurant again.

Long waiting times. The food was not brought to everyone at the table at the same time. When the smoked ribs we ordered were finally brought, they were burnt so black that they were inedible.

Quick stop to sit and rest. Walked for Miles and needed a toilet stop tbh. The pub was OK, not on par with other, bigger hard rock cafes whatsoever. Bit run down and lifeless. Partner loved the German beer. My coffee was OK. Would probably not return.

Wir haben oben separat gesessen. Unten wäre schöner gewesen. Die panierten Gambas etwas schlonzig, aber sehr lecker. Herausragend war der Messi-Burger mit Chorizo und Ei! Der Burger war sehr gut gebraten, die Zutaten alle schmeckbar! Ich habe selten so einen gut zubereiteten Burger gegessen. Aber der Laden war auch leer zu dieser Zeit! Gerne wieder!

Great location! Since we wanted to pass the time until our harbor tour, we only had a coffee and it was incredibly tasty. The price for a latte macchiato was even below the average that you would otherwise have to pay at the bakery, which surprised us positively because the quality was really very good. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

It's all about Spare Ribs. Like, Standard to eat. I do not get it why I have to pay 1.45€ for Mayonnaise when I spend 39€ for Food and Drink. Is HRC so desperate? -2* I asked to shift the food to a bit later. This is not possible. So I beef to order later to receive it later. Lesson learned. I understand that HRC has Contact with some suppliers, like Warsteiner. But no local beer? Pity. Despite the complaints, the personell is really friendly and helpful. The WiFi, by the way, is not global standard, so it does not connect automatically and you need to manually connect (complaining on high level 😁)

Really great location for celebrating or just eating out. We were there with the company and had a Christmas party. The food, the drinks, the service were all great and super great. I highly recommend it. ☺️

From the reservation to the payment, almost everything went right again. The only unfortunate thing was that I didn't get any percentages in the shop even though I was wearing a shirt from HRC. It's actually never happened to me. The lady just said "we won't do that". By the way, it was all together over 100 euros

Rooftop bar is a disaster. Never experienced such bored and demotivated staff. They just didn't want to take our order, even when we specifically went to the bar.

The table was too smal for 6 persons. The crunch at the Messi chicken sandwich was too hard.

Only consumed one beer. Service could be a bit friendlier, cold handling. OK, I haven't found another Hard Rock Cafe in the world that is better. Must be due to global management. Ambience with music videos is great. Conclusion: I won't come again, but there are others that I haven't visited yet.

Locally very nice. Staff very friendly My citizen was fried or fried a little too long. Therefore only 4 starters when eating was great felt like I was in Thailand.

You have to visit every rock café in every city where there is one and eat something

The salad was not tasty and looked untidy. The burger was not tasty, the frying of the cutlet was different among visitors from the same group. The meat in the cutlet is not tasty with a strange, unnatural smell for meat. We were not asked about the level of browning. Before that, I had been to Hard Rock Cafe in other countries and everything was great there.

Very bad experience compared to previous years. Customers are asked to pay immediately and move out from the bar. Some staff lost the Rechnung and the manager was frying the staff in front of customer for almost an hour.

I wanted to specifically mention your Hard Rock Shop employee, Stephanie, is outstanding. She went above and beyond in taking care of me and my family. She really made us feel welcomed, especially my children. It shows how that she enjoys her job.

Visiting a Hard Rock Café is always an experience, no matter the city. It is advisable to reserve online as the restaurant is very busy. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good but the children's menu was a bit poor (salami pizza the diameter of a tea cup). After a complaint, they gave us a second children's menu for free. Very nice! Tip: You have to try the brownie for dessert - it's so huge for 4 people!

If you are already in Hamburg, then you have to go to the Hard Rock Cafe. Great ambience and delicious food. Of course the prices are accordingly, but that shouldn't really come as a surprise. This is simply about the overall experience. Next to it there is the appropriate merchandising.... The prices there.... Well.... As I said 😉

I had SOUTHWESTERN CHICKEN BOW today, the meat was good but the fries and fried onion rings were cold when they came to the table. The red beans were a shame. It's a shame I've never had such a bad meal in a Hard Rock Cafe.

As almost always when I visit any HRC in the world, I had the New York strip steak and was, as always, very satisfied. Particularly worthy of mention is the extremely friendly service!

Absolute disappointment! So far we have always had very good experiences eating at Hard Rock Cafés. Unfortunately not here at all. I had the surf and turf burger for €27. This was absolutely dry because there was no sauce on it and the patty was way too cooked. And all for an absolutely overpriced price. Too bad.

Me and my friend went to this overrated restaurant to just eat hamburgers. It was my first time. We ordered just 2 hamburgers on a Thursday night. After waiting 50 minutes, we asked why our orders didn’t come. They told us, there is a 60 people group and our kitchen focused on them. Then the master waiter came and promised us if we wait 17 more minutes our orders will arrive. After 17 he didn’t come but we called him. He said sorry we can’t serve you. After waiting more than 1 hour, they told us this. And we paid our drinks and left the place. It was my first and last time in this disgusting place. I never recommend to anyone. I have never lived such a horrible experience in my life.

It was my first time at the Hard Rock Café and what can I say MORE seem than be!!!! Ordered burger fries and cocktails. Everything carelessly prepared, fries without sauces, without anything! Small portion of fries. Burger was OK. And the cocktails were DISASTERful shit tasty and carelessly prepared. In one Normal WATER GLASS WITHOUT decoration and fruits WITHOUT NOTHING. Sorry but here is ONLY THE NAME. For 70€ I would have preferred to eat somewhere better and nicer, as the eye can eat!!

Arrived in HH today and just wanted to spontaneously go out for dinner. Since we've never been to a Hard Rock Café before, our choice was made quickly. The staff greeted us in a friendly manner and remained so throughout our visit and were very accommodating even though it was quite busy. We didn't have to wait for a table, we were able to sit down straight away and after a quick look at the menu we were served burgers. The buns were incredibly fluffy, any special requests were taken into account and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The fries were also really tasty and the best fries I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The food itself was rather expensive and the portions were a bit too small, but it was still worth a visit. What was particularly good was that the door from the restaurant to the shop was opened especially for us and we didn't have to go out of the restaurant and into the shop next door. Definitely a recommendation and gladly again!

Great burger, but none under 20 euros

We were here on a Saturday evening in November 2024. The service was nice, but it took a long time and the additional sauce we requested didn't come at all. Unfortunately, after a long wait, the food only arrived lukewarm. I'm not used to that from other hard rocks. Unfortunately, after the fries were eaten, the burger was already cold. Improvements should urgently be made here so that the usual standard can be delivered.

Feel free to call me old-fashioned, but I reject a restaurant in Germany where the waitress only speaks to me in English. Also the fact that we are supposed to sit at the uncomfortable bar for coffee and cake; If we wanted to eat more, a real table would also work, but... Sorry, the concept doesn't fit us and our understanding of a restaurant. That's why we preferred to go to a restaurant where we felt welcomed and didn't feel ripped off. And didn't like the price/performance ratio for the size and quality of the food. For a miserable cheesecake for €11, I've eaten better cheaper ones in New York. The shrimps without night in Bangkok were a joke, anything but good but fried to death.

The staff at the entrance was nice. And for his birthday there was ice cream on the house. That was the only positive thing. Food cold, poorly prepared and completely overpriced. Waiter was rude after I only tipped 6.50. Not worth a visit!

Had a nice lunch time meal with family and friends in the Hard Rock. It was Halloween, so all the staff were dressed up. The food was plentiful. We had boneless wings (Buffalo sauce) and Fries. The kids all had cheeseburgers and fries. Recommend trying this restaurant if you are in the area.

It was “just” a few beers on the roof terrace. But it's definitely worth it - even for people from Hamburg - very nice view of the harbor, relax on the roof terrace and watch the sunset 🌅 and have a cold beer. What more do you need? The food I saw looked very good and the service duo was very strong that day! Thanks!

Good but not outstanding food. Amazing service in a pretty loud but cool atmosphere.

We've been to Hard Rock Cafes several times, but unfortunately this was the least good of them all. The service was top and so were the employees. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with the food today. The fries were carelessly thrown onto the plate and the taste of the food was mediocre. For the higher price segment, this is done much better in other Hard Rocks, which is what you can expect given the prices. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not taking part in the 10 percent discount when you wear another Hard Rock T-shirt... What a shame...

A must-do on our city trips is always dinner at a Hard Rock Cafe. I can only say that the HRC in Hamburg is by far the worst thing I have experienced. First we waited 20 minutes for the drink order, then the fries were cold and the burger bun was rock hard. The waitress skillfully ignored us and many other guests in the restaurant. I politely pointed out to the waitress that the food wasn't right. Her answer: "Aha" and left again.

Of course, the ambience in the Hard Rock Cafes has something to offer, especially if you are a fan of rock music. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly over the years. The menu has been reduced in size, which is completely ok if the quality of the food is good. Service was a bit overwhelmed and not necessarily competent.

Hello. Unfortunately I can't give you a good rating. On the one hand, I found the climate so unpleasant that I froze because I was sitting right under the system. The waiter was great. The taste of the food was ok but let's be honest. Who should the portions be enough for? On the menu the burger is photographed as huge, but in the end there was a perfectly normal burger. There were 8 of us but we weren't that full. My salad and that of my girlfriend were a total waste. I am a passionate salad eater and have eaten a lot of salads outside of home in my life, but serving a salad for over 20 euros that only consists of green leaves and a chicken breast is not a salad for me. There wasn't even a slice of baguette. I have to be honest... I don't have to have that again. But you live from tourism and you would probably make more effort if you were just a normal local. Too bad.

Be sure to reserve a table in advance if you want to eat at a certain time and enjoy the ambience. Service and food were quick and very good. The price is of course higher than the Greek one around the corner but still reasonable. It's best to travel with the ÖVP, parking on site is just a matter of luck.

Können wir garnicht empfehlen, lohnt nicht, über OpenTable sich einen Tisch zu reservieren. Sind maximal enttäuscht worden.

Souvent considérés comme cher, ça on confirme… Mais on rajoute, vraiment pas bon! C’est dommage ils surfent sur une aura du passé. Avant c’était bien!

Ich habe im Cafe mein Geburtstag gefeiert und es war wirklich alles super organisiert. Die Kommunikation per Mail bzgl. der Reservierung war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Tischdeko war hervorragend, kein Schnickschnack und sehr modern gehalten. Der Kellner war super lustig, sehr freundlich und hat uns ganz toll bedient. Ich kann die Location bestens empfehlen. Meine Gäste waren begeistert und haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Immer wieder gerne. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service liebes Hard Rock Team.

Nice restaurant. Not so crowded compared to Paris.

In a rocking and very good atmosphere, I was able to spend part of my birthday there with my wife and two very good friends. The service was great, requests were met and the food was simply delicious. 100% recommended. And, if you get there on time, you can easily get a parking space. Thank you

We actually wanted to go to the restaurant at 10:05 p.m. to have something to drink.... Normally open until 11:00 p.m.... We were then turned away at reception because there was no space at the counter..... But there were about 10 free tables. .... Well then, not anymore.... In the USA you are treated better in the Hard Rock Cafe...... We then went next door to the Blockbräu which was almost full and we were warmly welcomed and served 👍

A must for music lovers... passing through Hamburg

The burger was nothing special and was very reminiscent of the well-known fast food chains. I ate much better burgers in Hamburg. For the price it's definitely not worth it. The service and ambience were still great!

With the children at the jetties and a citizen listening to rock music, what could be better?

Starting with the food: lukewarm, fried to death, barely seasoned. Fries taste old. When we asked, we were told that the meat on the burger was medium rare. It was so done, nothing more is possible. Then my friend asked for a new burger, preferably medium rare because it was also super dry. Suddenly they said they weren't allowed to sell medium rare? Contradictory! We're supposed to get a new burger, unfortunately not much better. The service at the entrance was super friendly. A disaster at the table, unfortunately. The lady was super stressed (it's okay, we all are at times), she left it out to the customer, her face looked like it had been raining for three days and unfortunately she only spoke broken English and no German. We both speak English fluently, so no problem. The lady seemed super annoyed again. I told her several times that it wasn't her fault since she didn't work in the kitchen - don't know if she understood that. I tried to find a manager or at least someone responsible - somehow hardly any employees in this store speak German and only speak broken English. Was the first and last time.

At first it was a huge mess with the other waiters. Domingo saved our evening and was super accommodating and quick. The food was also great.

Hard Rock at the Landesbrücken is simply a beautiful place where you can treat yourself to another nice souvenir. A bit expensive, but hey... what's cheap? ;-) Quality top 👍🏽 Above all, have a nice cafe and experience the Hagen of Hamburg.
