It was wonderful. Dinner with grandchildren. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly, attentive, fast, patient, and competent. It was a Friday evening and the restaurant was at capacity. Therefore, the noise level was extremely loud. It made conversation at the table a bit difficult. But otherwise, a great evening. Thank you very much.

We've eaten there several times and would happily return. The value for money is good, and the food is delicious. The location is easily accessible, there's ample parking, and you just feel at home there. Overall, everything was fine – we're satisfied!

You‘d better make a reservation before you come here, we hadn’t, and as a result we had to wait a little for an empty table😄. We enjoyed our drinks and dishes, golden mac and cheese was really delicious and the amount of it was enough for two people. I’d like to thank staff for their lovely behavior specially the man with long hoary hair.

How good can a restaurant possibly be? We eat out often and enjoy it, but this place can't be topped! We were happy to make the long journey (over 100km) and our expectations were far exceeded. You're greeted in a friendly and relaxed manner and shown to your table. The restaurant is really beautiful, beautifully decorated. You feel at home. The table was decorated so sweetly for my birthday! Thank you! The staff is so, so friendly. Naturally friendly, and you can tell the team gets along well and is having fun. The food was INCREDIBLY good. Whether it was spare ribs (thanks for the sauce recommendation!), mac & cheese, wings, or dessert, everything was perfect! Everyone was very attentive, and there was no long wait, even though the place was packed. We went home so happy and will be back soon! You deserve ten stars too! Thank you!

The Montgomery Champs has an exceptionally beautiful interior, with several TVs in every corner of the ceiling, showing sports nonstop. There's so much to watch, as the entire restaurant is lovingly decorated with American sports paraphernalia. The food is outstanding, as is the service. You immediately feel at home and don't want to leave. A large garden invites you to linger with delicious long drinks in warm weather. A table reservation is essential, at least on weekends, because the Champs is always very busy. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the restaurant. We have never been disappointed.

I don't know if it was just bad luck, but my burger had nothing to do with a €19 burger. The patty was far too dry and overcooked, and didn't have a nice texture. The sides, however, were delicious, and everyone else at the table was happy!

Unfortunately, I didn't have a positive experience. The steak was good and expensive. All side dishes were seasoned very poorly. What I can't say is how the burgers are. Maybe I chose the wrong thing.

Great restaurant, it was our wedding anniversary and the table was sooooooo lovingly set, a ❤️ thank you to the lovely service staff, we felt completely pampered and looked after, the restaurant isn't exactly cheap, but it's worth it, at times when the Bundesliga is on you can also watch football ⚽️ ⚽️. I was here for the first time. Super friendly, attentive staff. Ambience is good, just a bit like an American sports bar/diner. If you like that, you've come to the right place. Had, in the classic way, a burger + fries... patty to the point, balanced taste, the fries made from fresh fat... what more could you want. Price/performance ratio is right, I would love to come back!!

The shop has been around for so long, but it still tastes great. The service is American, super friendly and quick and everything is really tasty. Only the prices are very high. Inviting six people isn't cheap, so the salary range has to be a little higher. But hey, you don't treat yourself every week and it was delicious.

The food was absolutely great, the staff was super nice and friendly, but unfortunately, as is so often the case these days, we were more or less ignored after the meal, we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else, after we had called for service several times and were always ignored, then after 6m or 7 capes when someone finally responded and asked for the bill instead of dessert

Had dinner there again yesterday with a friend. Actually a great place with delicious food and ok service. Of course it's a personal thing, but I think it's indecent to basically add the tip to EC card payments. I'm aware that I don't have to do this, but when the waitress is right next to me, there's a certain amount of pressure. This may work for you. I won't come to you again.

Disaster, I actually love the store. My son's birthday party today, 6 people. Everything started well, but after an hour and 50 minutes and multiple requests, still no food. It felt like everyone who came after us got their turn earlier. Then we left, drinks were free. We then went to another restaurant and were happy. Too bad for the birthday child 😔

A classic American sports bar for decades. The dishes are generous in American style, so if you don't leave full, it's your own fault. The taste is also very good, we like coming here. It is always full, so reservations are strongly recommended - especially on weekends.

The food itself was quite good and the atmosphere was also very nice. Unfortunately I can only give one star because the steak was ordered "Well Done", arrived completely bloody and was only brought back to the table 10 minutes later. All there was was an apology. The affected person was then allowed to watch the rest of them eat for 10 minutes. For such a mistake with such consequences, compensation of some kind, whether dessert or a nightcap on the house, is the minimum that belongs to a good restaurant and service.

If you want it American and get it. Great ambience and very friendly service. The food is greasy and sauce-heavy, and that's how it should be. Got a great steak, delicious ribs and a Garloc Bread. You'll get full here. Next visit will come!

The ribs and beef brisket are really good - you rarely get one like that! Unfortunately that was it. Side dishes overpriced and the service takes a really long time. Apple pie very disappointing. Twice we received unclean glasses with dried grease stains. Recommendation: go just for the ribs and skip everything else and you'll probably have a good experience.

Unfortunately we weren't so enthusiastic anymore. The nachos were over-seasoned with flavor powder. The Pina Colada tasted like it was ready from the large tetra pack. The food was ok, but not great. The service was inattentive at lunchtime when the restaurant was half empty. We would definitely have wanted to order two more drinks if she had looked while she rushed past us about 5 times. There is still room for improvement

Were in Montgomery on March 20, 2025. Reservations went very well, we were greeted nicely and brought to the table. Friendly service. Large selection, we decided on burgers, they were very good. Dessert was also very good, chocolate ice cream from Bönningstedt ice cream parlor was very tasty, an American ice cream scoop, mega large. Will come again.

We were here for the second time and found it really good again. We were able to park easily behind the restaurant. But it was probably because we were here on a Sunday afternoon. As before, we were welcomed and served by friendly and courteous staff. The food comes to the table quickly. We can only report on the burgers and fries, but they were very tasty. Next time we'll try other dishes :)

Hello, Generally, it's okay, but the service is rather slow. We tried several times to "persuade" them to serve us, but they didn't want to. Otherwise, good, meat-focused food and the ambiance of a 90s sports bar.

Authentic American food in an American sports bar atmosphere. There are many local beers (better than the American ones😉). I drove Route 66 last year and felt transported there again.

First of all: The food is really good and you can't really complain about the price... BUT We reserve for 7!! a table from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. I arrived 15 minutes late with three friends and the reception wasn't really friendly. First of all, there was almost a complaint that there were 8 of us even though only 7 were planned (tables are always distributed in pairs, so that shouldn't normally be a problem). After a bit of complaining we were led to the table. As I said, everything was fine with food and drink. And the waiters were also very nice. Shortly after 7 p.m. we are asked to leave the place. We still planned to order more drinks and hadn't finished drinking yet. In short: Even though as a group of 8 you bring in a lot of money, you will be “processed” after staying here for 2 hours. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not suitable for a longer, undisturbed experience.

Cool restaurant and a great idea, but I was visiting with a few Americans and they had problems speaking to the waiters because the first one didn't speak English, but later someone who could. For authenticity, to make it seem real, a few American beers would be cool, for example Coors, Bud Light or Blue Moon. And in order to attract more English and Americans to the restaurant, a menu in English both on site and online would be really helpful for clarification.

I haven't eaten so well in a long time, there is something for everyone here and everything is very typically American.

It is an American sports bar / restaurant as you would imagine here in Germany! Because of its age, quaint, even in the most positive way ☺️ The spare ribs and chicken wings are an absolute dream. Most of the time the combos are completely sufficient even without a side dish, I recommend sharing ☺️ All in all a great restaurant!

Once THE epitome of hospitality, today only mass processing. You wait an eternity for your food with your children, and we had to run after the waitress to order more drinks. We saved ourselves having to order dessert. The noise level is deafening, especially in the cultivation area. Food is ok, but burgers with frozen patties are not appropriate for the price.

Absolute disaster, we had reserved by email for a larger group and also received a confirmation. When we arrived at the restaurant there was apparently no reservation and we were "put aside" for half an hour because the other guests were obviously more important. The phone rang constantly and no one answered, super annoying for all the guests. After we finally got a table, there were no more menus. We got the food before the drinks, and the drinks were also wrong. Instead of bringing us new ones, the old ones were briefly carried away and then brought back the same way. Ordering more than one drink was also very difficult and only possible with repeated requests. The dessert wasn't as ordered and was just sweet without much taste. The air was stuffy and bad. Unfortunately, the food was, if at all, just “OK”, but all the more expensive. It was a complete disappointment!!! Even though we were promised, we never received a receipt for the invoice.

The food was very tasty. However, the service staff were very stressed and annoyed when, for example, it took a while to choose the food!

The food is expensive but good. Reservations are only possible by telephone and did not work out on two visits. The tables for 2 are usually right next to the tables for 4 in the aisle. That's not comfortable. This is not a problem for 4 or more people, as these tables are more “protected”. It would just have to work with the reservation.

Been there again after a long time. Food was okay, but nothing special. We had several small children with us and had to wait 2.5 hours for food. Since the mood was getting worse and worse, we wanted at least a few chips/taccos for the kids, which were only brought after several requests. In the end there wasn't even a small price reduction or an ice cream or something like that on the house for the kids. It was also very warm and stuffy/bad air in the store. It doesn't have to happen again.

It's always very busy. However, when my wife and I visited, everyone at the reception was kind and prepared a table for us. The portions of the meals are a bit large, but they are so delicious that I finish them every time. This is a store I want to visit again and again.

Quite nicely furnished, but unfortunately we waited for a quarter of an hour despite a reservation and then were consistently ignored by the waitress for almost an hour. If you want to wait a long time and drink the ketchup packets because you don't get anything, this is the right place.
