Sportsbar sehr cool. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen war auch sehr gut

Grundsätzlich gehe ich hier sehr gerne essen. Es gibt tolles, leckeres BBQ, Burger, viele verschiedene Biere und alles was man sich von einer Sportsbar mit amerikanischer Küche verspricht. Ich finde jedoch die Preise sind einfach viel zu hoch. An dem Essen gibt es nichts auszusetzen, der Service ist jedoch durchschnittlich und die Preise befinden sich eher auf dem Niveau einer gehobenen Küche und das empfinde ich als überzogen.

Service Super nett und Ambiente ist sehr amerikanisch aber das Essen ist leider nur okay für den Preis…

Schönes Restaurant, gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Parkmöglichkeiten: Parkplätze sind am Restaurant vorhanden, teilweise etwas eng aber ok. Alternative Erreichbarkeiten bietet die nahegelegende AKN-Station und ein Busbahnhof. Essen: Ein große Auswahl an amerikanischen und deutschen Speisen mit variablen Möglichkeiten diese zu bestellen. Von Burger bis Steak ist alles zu haben. Für mein Gefühl sind die Preise etwas hoch- auch weil die Beilagen extra bestellt werden müssen... Service: War alles super. Lockerer freundlicher Umgang des Kellners. Nichts aufgezwungen aber Optionen für Nachtisch etc. angeboten. Ambiente: Toll eingerichteter Laden mit vielen Sportartikeln und Bildern von Persönlichkeiten. Zusätzlich gibt es viele Fernseher, die einen guten Blick auf das jeweilige Sportevent zulassen.

Ich war dort, um das WM-Spiel zu sehen. Super Personal! Alle sprechen fließend Englisch, geben gerne Empfehlungen und sind gesprächig – mit leckerem Bier und Fußballwitzen. Ich kann dieses Lokal wärmstens empfehlen, falls ihr mal in Hamburg seid. Der Bahnhof liegt direkt hinter dem Lokal, und der private Parkplatz ist groß und kostenlos. Das Essen! Unbedingt den Hamburger bestellen, denn hier gibt es zweifellos die besten Burger der Stadt. Ich hatte den „Juicy Lucy“-Doppelburger und war am nächsten Tag pappsatt. Auch die Gäste sind Einheimische. Sie sind gesprächig und höflich. Wenn ihr Gesellschaft sucht, geht hierher und genießt den authentischen Geschmack der deutschen Küche und die lokale Atmosphäre.

Bester Laden für sportfans und American food

Immer wieder gerne, ich habe nur positive Erfahrungen. Weiter so!

Ich war inzwischen schon sehr oft in diesem Restaurant und bin jedes Mal begeistert. Die Burger sind wirklich sehr lecker und konstant von hoher Qualität. Besonders positiv finde ich die großzügigen Portionen – hier wird man definitiv satt. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Dazu kommt ein freundlicher Service, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Für mich eine klare Empfehlung – wer gute Burger mag, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen! 🍔👌

Einfach nur Müll. Wie kann es sein, dass die Chicken Wings eine Stunde brauchen? Und dann sind sie auch noch tiefgefroren! Eine erbärmliche Ausrede für „amerikanisches“ Essen.

Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut. Ich finde lediglich die Preise etwas überteuert.

Sehr cooler amerikanischer Diner. Leckeres Essen, gute Getränkeauswahl. Im Angebot Bereichen noch minimal Luft nach oben, daher durchweg solide 4 Sterne. 4,5 kann ich ja nicht vergeben. Ich gehe sehr gerne in den Laden!

Klassisches amerikanisches Barbecue Restaurant. Bei gutem Wetter ist draussen sitzen möglich. Wir haben diese Lokalität sehr genossen bei gehobenem Service.

Wie immer top Essen, sehr freundliche und lockere Bedienung, schöne Getränkeauswahl in einer Location im amerikanischen Style. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne her!

Meine Kinder lieben diesen Laden. Sie lieben die Rippchen, Chicken Wings, Nuggets und Pommes – und natürlich die Fanta. Der Service ist in Ordnung, die Mitarbeiter sind immer zuvorkommend und kümmern sich aufmerksam um die Kinder, was mir sehr wichtig ist. Wenn das Restaurant voll ist, muss man etwas Geduld mitbringen. Das Essen ist immer frisch und schön angerichtet. Das Ambiente ist typisch amerikanisch und sportlich – einfach toll! Es ist schön, einen Ort zu finden, der mich an Zuhause erinnert!

Tolles Sport Restaurant, immer gut besucht, ich würde sagen typisch amerikanisch. 🍔 Burger Pommes 🍟 und Co, sowie diverse Getränke jeder Art. Wichtig immer einen tisch reservieren. Preise inzwischen angehoben und wirklich teuer. Die Parksituation Katastrophe. Es gibt einen Parkplatz doch der ist viel zu klein um alle Gäste unterzubringen.

Die Ribs waren geschmacklich ok, jedoch war der Preis für die kleine Menge sehr hoch. Ebenso wie die hochpreisigen Getränke.

Service und Essen waren top. Ist aber nichts für Menschen die sich an einer hohen Geräuschkulisse stören - ist halt eine Sportlokation (wie im Stadion). Trotzdem empfehlenswert.

Die Bedienung war neben dem Essen das Highligt.

Nach langer Zeit waren wir wieder mal im Champs. Wir hatten Glück und haben ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Ich saß vorher noch nie im Tresen Bereich, das war richtig "kuschelig". Super nette Bedienung. Leckeres Essen (1 Crispy Chicken Burger, 1 Lachs mit Spinat und Ofenkartoffel, 1 Spare Ribbs mit Chicken Wings und 3 verschiedenen Pommes Sorten, 2 Pizza Cockies als Nachtisch und Getränke für knapp 124 Euro). Fazit: Alles supi, jederzeit gerne wieder. Wir waren pappsatt - mein Tipp: Nicht zu spät dort essen, damit man auch gut schlafen kann....

Überdurchschnittlich leckeres Essen ( insb. Spare Ribs und Chicken Wings mit den Aktionstagen Mo+Di), aber auch überdurchschnittliche Preise

Spare Ribs & Wings etc. "American Diner". Portionen sind ordentlich und das servierte Essen war sehr lecker. Service fix und freundlich. Auch hier sind die Preise leider etwas nach oben gegangen, selbst für ein Dessert bist du mittlerweile bei guten 8€.

Waren mit einer großen Gruppe da. Laura hat uns bedient, eine super Frau/ Kellnerin, konnte uns sehr gut bedienen und beraten, deswegen nochmal vielen Dank!

Montgomery Champs bietet viele Parkplätze und überzeugt schon beim Betreten mit einem großzügigen Platzangebot. Die zahlreichen Tische stehen angenehm weit auseinander, sodass man sich auch bei gutem Betrieb nicht eingeengt fühlt. Besonders positiv fallen das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal sowie die reichhaltige Speisekarte mit vielen typisch amerikanischen Gerichten auf. Von Burgern über Spare Ribs bis hin zu leckerem Steak ist für viele Geschmäcker etwas dabei. Auch die Auswahl an Beilagen ist groß, wobei man wissen sollte, dass diese nicht automatisch im Hauptgericht enthalten sind und separat bestellt werden müssen. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis und definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Cooler Laden, lecker Essen und überall wo man hinschaut Fernseher mit laufendem aktuellem Fußballspiel. Bedienung sehr freundlich und immer da wenn man was wollte. Schöner Abend.

DIE Topadresse für ein Amerikanisches Diner. Nach dem Eintritt ist man in einer anderen Welt. Im Innenraum ist der U.S. Sport omnipräsent, aber auch Boxen und Fußball. Bilder und Ausstellungsstücke im Innenraum können bewundert werden. Die Servicecrew ist Supernett, und das Essen ist perfekt. Ich stelle jedesmal fest das ich viel zu selten hier bin🤔😁..

Total lecker. 1 Stern Abzug, weil wir für 21 Personen reserviert und nur knapp 2 Stunden Zeit hatten, weil dann eine andere Gruppe reserviert hatte. Wenn man bei 21 Personen bedenkt, dass nicht alle auf die Minute eintreffen, Getränke bestellt werden und man sich die Speisekarte auch mal anschauen möchte und dann die Essenbesttelung aufgibt, braucht die Küche ja auch noch, bis das Essen für die große Gesellschaft fertig ist. Unter Zeitdruck dann zu speisen ist nicht so prickelnd. Bei der Planung müsste noch gelernt werden, das Essen ist top.

Coole Sportsbar mit großer Auswahl und gutem Essen

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe für einige Stunden vor Ort und wurden sehr gut bedient. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen schnell und es war sehr lecker.

Zwar sehr laut, aber trotzdem gut. Service ist prima, alle sehr nett.

Das Essen war schon mal besser, ebenso die Portionen und die Präsentation. Auch beim Service ist ziemlich Luft nach oben heute gewesen. Es gab schon schönere und bessere Jahre hier. 💪

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert, trotzdem machte es beim Ankommen den Eindruck, als müsste der Kellner unsere Reservierung erst einmal mehrere Minuten suchen. Das wirkte leider etwas unorganisiert und der Start war dadurch nicht besonders einladend. Auch die Wartezeit auf das Essen war ziemlich lang – etwa eine Stunde. Das ist für ein Restaurantbesuch schon grenzwertig, vor allem wenn man hungrig ankommt. Das Essen selbst war gemischt: Die Spareribs waren leider etwas trocken, die BBQ-Soße wirkte eher lieblos angerichtet und war für die Menge an Fleisch auch recht wenig. Positiv hervorzuheben sind allerdings die Süßkartoffel-Pommes – die waren wirklich sehr gut und knusprig

Sehr schickes Restaurant. Bzw. Schon ne Sportsbar. Amerika Like. Wir hatten nen tollen Abend. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns super beraten. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch wenn es sehr voll war, hat man sich nicht eingeengt gefühlt :)

Burger Restaurant im Stil einer amerikanischen Sportsbar. Nettes Ambiente, aufmerksamer Service, gutes Essen, wenn man Burger oder Spare Ribs mag. Leider nur eine kleine Salatauswahl.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly compared to the past. I've been to Champs many times, the first time being in 2018. Compared to today, it's hardly recognizable, and the prices are unfortunately far too high.

Delicious and unusual burgers that are really big and really filling. The menu has a really large selection, and there's something for everyone. The ambiance really conveys an American feel, and you'd think you were in the USA :)

Food: very expensive, seems inferior. Even though the fries cost almost €6, they skimp on them (a few cents!). For the hefty price, they're really bad. Almost all of them have black spots, are undercooked, and aren't even seasoned interestingly. Am I supposed to believe that someone who uses such poor quality ingredients even for the cheapest ingredients (fries) is high-quality? Hardly. I've had about three burgers and two spare ribs here in the last three years. The burgers are "so-so" - no comparison to the burger restaurants in the city. The spare ribs were okay. Apparently, that's not a dish I'm particularly enthusiastic about. However, €20 for only about 100g of meat is pretty steep. Service: I constantly notice that the employees barely pay any attention to new guests. If they would just give you a quick look, a small sign that they'll be right on it, everything would be fine. Instead, you're ignored and left wondering if you're not worthy. This happened to me both alone and in groups, and I recently observed it with other guests, some of whom had difficulty placing an order. An employee two years ago was better, but not anymore.

The restaurant is decorated in the style of an American sports bar. The food was good and came quickly despite being fully booked. The only complaint would be the service. The main order was taken, but afterward, there were no questions about more drinks despite the empty glasses, nor were there any inquiries about whether anyone wanted dessert. Parking is also a bit tight on busy days.

Highly recommended. The only drawback: it gets extremely loud inside. You have to huddle closer together and speak louder.

My absolute favorite restaurant. The food is always delicious, as are the drinks, and everything is very reasonably priced. You'll definitely get full here, as the portions are also very generous. I always enjoy coming here for something delicious to eat and, for example, to watch football.

They say they have the best ribs in Hamburg. That's probably true, as good as they are. Everything is hearty, delicious, and fresh. The service is prompt, and it's kid-friendly, too. I'd go back anytime ❤️

Great sports bar – we've been treating ourselves to the spare ribs for years (super tender – the meat falls off the bone). The service is always very friendly, and we've never experienced long waits for either drinks or food. When it's full, the dining room gets really loud. We ask for a table at the bar – it's much quieter there.

First time here on a recommendation. There's a very good selection of cocktails, including a happy hour. Even though we thought there was a lot of ice in them, they were still delicious, even if the "drinking pleasure" was short-lived. The food selection is also great. Basically, everything is there. Sure, a lot of it comes from the deep fryer, but that's what you'd expect from American restaurants. Simple food without much love. Nevertheless, we were satisfied and could hardly decide on a dish. So we'll be back! The only criticism is that there was a lot of smoking in the beer garden. A huge, annoying nuisance. I don't understand why, in 2025, they're still not prepared to ban it in restaurants. Nobody can do anything about the many wasps. It's everyone's problem.

We've been coming here for many years. Currently, due to the noise level, we could only talk to the person sitting next to us. Hence the 2 stars for the ambiance. It's a shame, as we were there as a group. The prices have also gone up. The side dish portions were too small for us. The service was attentive and good.

It's a sport, so it's a bit louder. Sitting outside is also possible. The food is delicious. The staff is attentive.

The food was delicious, but relatively expensive. The service was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't arrive until after/with the food. One more person at the counter would have been helpful. The place was packed, and the interior was very noisy, as there are no partitions.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food... We sat on the terrace, which faces the street, but it's okay. The server was very friendly, and the food, as always, was incredibly delicious. Be sure to make a reservation for the evening.

I ordered the Bavarian Burger. The meat was fried to death, garnished with two stale slices of ham, a cheese that didn't taste right with it, and all wrapped up in a dry pretzel bun (not even a pretzel bun). The whole thing came to €17, no side dish. Sorry, other burger joints can do much better for less money. My wife had the nachos with guacamole. Cheap bagged nachos, not warm, and what felt like a thimbleful of ready-made guacamole from a jar, not enough to eat every nacho chip, even at almost €8. Sorry, but when prices like that are charged, I expect a bit more. We're definitely not going there again.

Super delicious food in a great atmosphere! If you like American food and sports, this is the place for you! It's a shame we live so far away, otherwise we'd go there much more often!

Absolutely fantastic spare ribs! The portions are huge; if you leave the place hungry after eating the spare ribs, you've definitely done something wrong. The happy hour is especially worth it if you like cocktails.

Food is a sorry excuse for American barbecue, mediocre at best. Super dry definitely not slow cooked, seems like they cook it in the oven and just with a dry rub and squirt bbq sauce on top. Not cooked with care at all. I received undercooked ribs and was told that’s how they are supposed to be. I understand ribs have a red hue, because of the bbq sauce, but should never have bleeding red veins.. would not recommend. We did receive a replacement, but the replacement was soooo DRY and chewy, we had to rip it off the bones with our teeth. Ribs are supposed to slid off the bone and be juicy. Not at this place. Will not be returning. Additionally, spending 30€ for just meat and no sides is a rip off. Even in the US we give you two sides and endless refills. Save your money and your time. Go elsewhere

Overall, it's a cool place with plenty of space and the staff are all friendly and accommodating. Nothing is left to be desired. I find some of the prices quite steep. A vegan or vegetarian burger at almost €20 is a real outrage. The price list could be a bit balanced and reviewed. On hot days, the place lacks air conditioning, but otherwise, it's great and a great place to visit with a group.

Cool sports bar with really good food. The food selection at Champs is really decent. All side dishes can be combined individually, and everything we ordered for 10 people was delicious. Everyone was very satisfied. The restrooms were clean (although it was shortly after opening at 12 p.m.). The meat was incredibly tender with a great crust. You have to like the ambiance. It's rather rustic and sporty (sports bar!). But it's quite expensive. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

One star deducted because the ribs, while delicious, are no longer a unique selling point, and they're not cheap either. You can get the same quality elsewhere. The wings were good, and the kids' menu was good too. All in all, still a nice restaurant/sports bar/diner. Just under €100 for three people. But that includes dessert and espresso.

Visited with family without a reservation (table outside). Very attentive service from all the staff. The food arrived quickly and tasted great! A very extensive and good menu! Since our eyes were bigger than our appetites, or rather the portions were really large, packing our doggy bags was a must. Thank you for that. We'll be happy to come back and look forward to it.

The restaurant was highly recommended to me. Unfortunately, today didn't seem like a great day for a visit to Champs. The service was somewhat unfriendly, and the food was a bit disappointing. My Chrispy patty was rock hard and completely lost in the rest of the burger. Unfortunately, my potato wasn't cooked all the way through. The Ipanema was also very sour. Too bad, maybe we'll give it another try!

Great, fitting ambiance. Plenty of outdoor seating, ample parking right next to the restaurant. A friendly team. Minimal noise from the street and AKN. Excellent food and drinks. Everything was fantastic.

Food is a 10/10, but I find it very, very loud there

We returned after a long absence and were not disappointed. After our first visit, this restaurant was actually out of the question for us. However, word of mouth suggested we give it another chance. This time, the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The service was very friendly and attentive. In short, it is now one of our favorite restaurants.

It was wonderful. Dinner with grandchildren. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly, attentive, fast, patient, and competent. It was a Friday evening and the restaurant was at capacity. Therefore, the noise level was extremely loud. It made conversation at the table a bit difficult. But otherwise, a great evening. Thank you very much.

We've eaten there several times and would happily return. The value for money is good, and the food is delicious. The location is easily accessible, there's ample parking, and you just feel at home there. Overall, everything was fine – we're satisfied!
