Great sports bar – we've been treating ourselves to the spare ribs for years (super tender – the meat falls off the bone). The service is always very friendly, and we've never experienced long waits for either drinks or food. When it's full, the dining room gets really loud. We ask for a table at the bar – it's much quieter there.

First time here on a recommendation. There's a very good selection of cocktails, including a happy hour. Even though we thought there was a lot of ice in them, they were still delicious, even if the "drinking pleasure" was short-lived. The food selection is also great. Basically, everything is there. Sure, a lot of it comes from the deep fryer, but that's what you'd expect from American restaurants. Simple food without much love. Nevertheless, we were satisfied and could hardly decide on a dish. So we'll be back! The only criticism is that there was a lot of smoking in the beer garden. A huge, annoying nuisance. I don't understand why, in 2025, they're still not prepared to ban it in restaurants. Nobody can do anything about the many wasps. It's everyone's problem.

We've been coming here for many years. Currently, due to the noise level, we could only talk to the person sitting next to us. Hence the 2 stars for the ambiance. It's a shame, as we were there as a group. The prices have also gone up. The side dish portions were too small for us. The service was attentive and good.

The food was delicious, but relatively expensive. The service was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't arrive until after/with the food. One more person at the counter would have been helpful. The place was packed, and the interior was very noisy, as there are no partitions.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food... We sat on the terrace, which faces the street, but it's okay. The server was very friendly, and the food, as always, was incredibly delicious. Be sure to make a reservation for the evening.

I ordered the Bavarian Burger. The meat was fried to death, garnished with two stale slices of ham, a cheese that didn't taste right with it, and all wrapped up in a dry pretzel bun (not even a pretzel bun). The whole thing came to €17, no side dish. Sorry, other burger joints can do much better for less money. My wife had the nachos with guacamole. Cheap bagged nachos, not warm, and what felt like a thimbleful of ready-made guacamole from a jar, not enough to eat every nacho chip, even at almost €8. Sorry, but when prices like that are charged, I expect a bit more. We're definitely not going there again.

Super delicious food in a great atmosphere! If you like American food and sports, this is the place for you! It's a shame we live so far away, otherwise we'd go there much more often!

It was delicious, but also very loud.

Food is a sorry excuse for American barbecue, mediocre at best. Super dry definitely not slow cooked, seems like they cook it in the oven and just with a dry rub and squirt bbq sauce on top. Not cooked with care at all. I received undercooked ribs and was told that’s how they are supposed to be. I understand ribs have a red hue, because of the bbq sauce, but should never have bleeding red veins.. would not recommend. We did receive a replacement, but the replacement was soooo DRY and chewy, we had to rip it off the bones with our teeth. Ribs are supposed to slid off the bone and be juicy. Not at this place. Will not be returning. Additionally, spending 30€ for just meat and no sides is a rip off. Even in the US we give you two sides and endless refills. Save your money and your time. Go elsewhere

Absolutely fantastic spare ribs! The portions are huge; if you leave the place hungry after eating the spare ribs, you've definitely done something wrong. The happy hour is especially worth it if you like cocktails.

Cool sports bar with really good food. The food selection at Champs is really decent. All side dishes can be combined individually, and everything we ordered for 10 people was delicious. Everyone was very satisfied. The restrooms were clean (although it was shortly after opening at 12 p.m.). The meat was incredibly tender with a great crust. You have to like the ambiance. It's rather rustic and sporty (sports bar!). But it's quite expensive. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Overall, it's a cool place with plenty of space and the staff are all friendly and accommodating. Nothing is left to be desired. I find some of the prices quite steep. A vegan or vegetarian burger at almost €20 is a real outrage. The price list could be a bit balanced and reviewed. On hot days, the place lacks air conditioning, but otherwise, it's great and a great place to visit with a group.

Visited with family without a reservation (table outside). Very attentive service from all the staff. The food arrived quickly and tasted great! A very extensive and good menu! Since our eyes were bigger than our appetites, or rather the portions were really large, packing our doggy bags was a must. Thank you for that. We'll be happy to come back and look forward to it.

One star deducted because the ribs, while delicious, are no longer a unique selling point, and they're not cheap either. You can get the same quality elsewhere. The wings were good, and the kids' menu was good too. All in all, still a nice restaurant/sports bar/diner. Just under €100 for three people. But that includes dessert and espresso.

The restaurant was highly recommended to me. Unfortunately, today didn't seem like a great day for a visit to Champs. The service was somewhat unfriendly, and the food was a bit disappointing. My Chrispy patty was rock hard and completely lost in the rest of the burger. Unfortunately, my potato wasn't cooked all the way through. The Ipanema was also very sour. Too bad, maybe we'll give it another try!

Great, fitting ambiance. Plenty of outdoor seating, ample parking right next to the restaurant. A friendly team. Minimal noise from the street and AKN. Excellent food and drinks. Everything was fantastic.

We returned after a long absence and were not disappointed. After our first visit, this restaurant was actually out of the question for us. However, word of mouth suggested we give it another chance. This time, the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The service was very friendly and attentive. In short, it is now one of our favorite restaurants.

You‘d better make a reservation before you come here, we hadn’t, and as a result we had to wait a little for an empty table😄. We enjoyed our drinks and dishes, golden mac and cheese was really delicious and the amount of it was enough for two people. I’d like to thank staff for their lovely behavior specially the man with long hoary hair.

How good can a restaurant possibly be? We eat out often and enjoy it, but this place can't be topped! We were happy to make the long journey (over 100km) and our expectations were far exceeded. You're greeted in a friendly and relaxed manner and shown to your table. The restaurant is really beautiful, beautifully decorated. You feel at home. The table was decorated so sweetly for my birthday! Thank you! The staff is so, so friendly. Naturally friendly, and you can tell the team gets along well and is having fun. The food was INCREDIBLY good. Whether it was spare ribs (thanks for the sauce recommendation!), mac & cheese, wings, or dessert, everything was perfect! Everyone was very attentive, and there was no long wait, even though the place was packed. We went home so happy and will be back soon! You deserve ten stars too! Thank you!

The Montgomery Champs has an exceptionally beautiful interior, with several TVs in every corner of the ceiling, showing sports nonstop. There's so much to watch, as the entire restaurant is lovingly decorated with American sports paraphernalia. The food is outstanding, as is the service. You immediately feel at home and don't want to leave. A large garden invites you to linger with delicious long drinks in warm weather. A table reservation is essential, at least on weekends, because the Champs is always very busy. The prices are commensurate with the quality of the restaurant. We have never been disappointed.

I don't know if it was just bad luck, but my burger had nothing to do with a €19 burger. The patty was far too dry and overcooked, and didn't have a nice texture. The sides, however, were delicious, and everyone else at the table was happy!

Unfortunately, I didn't have a positive experience. The steak was good and expensive. All side dishes were seasoned very poorly. What I can't say is how the burgers are. Maybe I chose the wrong thing.

I was here for the first time. Super friendly, attentive staff. Ambience is good, just a bit like an American sports bar/diner. If you like that, you've come to the right place. Had, in the classic way, a burger + fries... patty to the point, balanced taste, the fries made from fresh fat... what more could you want. Price/performance ratio is right, I would love to come back!!

The shop has been around for so long, but it still tastes great. The service is American, super friendly and quick and everything is really tasty. Only the prices are very high. Inviting six people isn't cheap, so the salary range has to be a little higher. But hey, you don't treat yourself every week and it was delicious.

The food was absolutely great, the staff was super nice and friendly, but unfortunately, as is so often the case these days, we were more or less ignored after the meal, we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else, after we had called for service several times and were always ignored, then after 6m or 7 capes when someone finally responded and asked for the bill instead of dessert

Had dinner there again yesterday with a friend. Actually a great place with delicious food and ok service. Of course it's a personal thing, but I think it's indecent to basically add the tip to EC card payments. I'm aware that I don't have to do this, but when the waitress is right next to me, there's a certain amount of pressure. This may work for you. I won't come to you again.

Disaster, I actually love the store. My son's birthday party today, 6 people. Everything started well, but after an hour and 50 minutes and multiple requests, still no food. It felt like everyone who came after us got their turn earlier. Then we left, drinks were free. We then went to another restaurant and were happy. Too bad for the birthday child 😔

A classic American sports bar for decades. The dishes are generous in American style, so if you don't leave full, it's your own fault. The taste is also very good, we like coming here. It is always full, so reservations are strongly recommended - especially on weekends.

A very very tasty restaurant. Very friendly staff! There is also parking for the restaurant if you come from further away.

The food itself was quite good and the atmosphere was also very nice. Unfortunately I can only give one star because the steak was ordered "Well Done", arrived completely bloody and was only brought back to the table 10 minutes later. All there was was an apology. The affected person was then allowed to watch the rest of them eat for 10 minutes. For such a mistake with such consequences, compensation of some kind, whether dessert or a nightcap on the house, is the minimum that belongs to a good restaurant and service.

If you want it American and get it. Great ambience and very friendly service. The food is greasy and sauce-heavy, and that's how it should be. Got a great steak, delicious ribs and a Garloc Bread. You'll get full here. Next visit will come!

The ribs and beef brisket are really good - you rarely get one like that! Unfortunately that was it. Side dishes overpriced and the service takes a really long time. Apple pie very disappointing. Twice we received unclean glasses with dried grease stains. Recommendation: go just for the ribs and skip everything else and you'll probably have a good experience.

Unfortunately we weren't so enthusiastic anymore. The nachos were over-seasoned with flavor powder. The Pina Colada tasted like it was ready from the large tetra pack. The food was ok, but not great. The service was inattentive at lunchtime when the restaurant was half empty. We would definitely have wanted to order two more drinks if she had looked while she rushed past us about 5 times. There is still room for improvement

We were here for the second time and found it really good again. We were able to park easily behind the restaurant. But it was probably because we were here on a Sunday afternoon. As before, we were welcomed and served by friendly and courteous staff. The food comes to the table quickly. We can only report on the burgers and fries, but they were very tasty. Next time we'll try other dishes :)

Were in Montgomery on March 20, 2025. Reservations went very well, we were greeted nicely and brought to the table. Friendly service. Large selection, we decided on burgers, they were very good. Dessert was also very good, chocolate ice cream from Bönningstedt ice cream parlor was very tasty, an American ice cream scoop, mega large. Will come again.
