3/2025 It was very crowded when we spontaneously wanted to eat there. Very flexible staff, we were able to share a table with other guests and didn't have to wait long. Food very tasty and nice and warm. Service was very patient with us 😉

We were there at lunchtime. Top service, delicious food. The thirst quenchers are really recommended.

Very tasty and great service but the waiting time was a bit longer

We like this restaurant the burgers are delicious, but unfortunately Two of the staff in this branch were very rude for some reason, we felt they were picking on us. They yelled at us when my 18 month old dropped the table mat on the floor, telling us it is not suppose to be there.. also they didn't allow us to add to the order. We felt unwelcome and we wanted to leave, we only stayed since our kids were quite hungry.

A wide variety of burgers, chicken, beef, or veggie. The fries were very well made. The variety of sauces to choose from is super wide, with many vegan options. Still, the taste of my burger didn't leave me with a wow. Was it delicious? Yes. Was it amazing? I doubt it. Also, it's difficult to evaluate the service; when ordering and paying through a web app, there are servers, but they're so few that you end up using the website.

If you like pepper, then “Pfeffersack” is the best choice, very tasty.

The food was really nice…the service was good but a bit slow.

If you want vegan burger, there are better places than here. I’ve ordered a burger with vegan patty and truffle sauce and there was literally no taste of the truffle sauce. I had to wait 50 Minutes for my order to arrive and had to ask another waiter, that wasn’t responsible for my table, for the food and he got it to me within minutes. If the restaurant can’t handle these many orders, maybe they should stop accepting new customers. Several customers next to me left, since they’ve been waiting too long for their order. When I wanted to leave, I had to wait almost 20 minutes for my bill. Wasted my time here, wouldn’t come again

Good burgers and friendly staff. The food is always tasty and fresh. It can get busy on weekends, so it’s better to book a table in advance.

We've eaten here twice, it looks nice and the burgers taste very good for the price, there's a lot of choice. Very polite and attentive service, Anna is a lovely and funny girl, no wish was denied to us even though it was very, very busy at the weekend. The big waiter was also super nice, you can sit comfortably outside and even though you sit close to each other you feel very comfortable, but in the end we preferred to sit inside. We'd love to come back!

Simply delicious! The selection of vegan and vegetarian burgers is very large and diverse. My absolute favorite is the Zeitgeist burger. The staff is also very nice and attentive. We got a table for two relatively quickly (after about 5 minutes) on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Highly recommended.

The good first: nice waiters & service and a nice ambience right in front of the theater! Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty at all. The sweet potato fries are lukewarm and unsalty. The Cauliflower Wings were very little - otherwise fine. Unfortunately the burger was also rather cold...

I really enjoy the food at Hans im Glück. The burgers are delicious and so are the cocktails. The staff does a great job and the atmosphere is just right!!

By chance I was at Hans im Glück in Düsseldorf twice this week. On Thursday with friends and on Saturday with my family. Both times it was great. Of course it was emptier on Thursday. Thursday I ate the vegetarian burger “Beherzter” with jalapeños. There were also fries and a cocktail “non-alcoholic blackberry” on the menu. Our waitress was called Hanna. She was super attentive and friendly and helped make it a very pleasant stay. We stayed so long that she had to kick us out just before 10 p.m. because they were closing. That says it all, right? On Saturday I ate the vegetarian burger “Olivenhain” and drank the cocktail “Moskito”. It was very busy and it took a long time before we could order and until our food came. But everything still went smoothly and we got what we ordered. Unfortunately this time we weren't sitting in Hanna's area. Our service was rather lackluster. Our son informed them that the soap in the men's room was empty. She didn't care about it. I informed the manager a few minutes later (at least I think so). He immediately sent her up to replace the soap. That worked very well. Meanwhile, to my delight, Hanna brought us our burgers. She's just great. Conclusion: Very satisfied both times. I'll be back.

Burger was tasty (not great) and the service was friendly. But I deducted 2 stars...one because of the cleanliness of the store. Lamps etc. everything was dingy and the food was only slightly warm. Since we were under time pressure, we didn't complain.

The store is nicely decorated but the seating is very uncomfortable. It could also be a little cleaner. Dusting isn't exactly our forte. Service very friendly and accommodating. The burgers taste really good. However, I have to complain about the price. Burger just under 16 euros ok As a menu plus 10 euros for a bowl of lukewarm fries, a cola and a coffee that you don't need is just too much. There is more for the money elsewhere.

We had dinner there with a large group, we had a lovely evening, the burgers are really delicious and the selection is also fantastic. The burgers are definitely good for the price, but the drinks are too expensive for me personally, even for the central location. This Hans im Glück is also really cramped, you get the feeling that they are trying to get as many people as possible into the restaurant, so it is quite loud and you have no room to move around. The service is quite nice, but with all the people you have to wait longer.

The food and service were really great. The ambience is very cozy with the light, especially in the evening. Everything was great!! Our waitress, the young man with dark curly hair, was very friendly. We'd love to come again.

This evening we were at Hans im Glück and were served by a very friendly waiter. Not only was the food delicious but it was also prepared quickly. Ambiance: Modern and chic. If I had a suggestion for improvement: softer seat cushions. Our waiter @Lamar provided top service: we had the food at the table very quickly and he also fulfilled all of our special requests. He wasn't pushy, but was always there when we wanted to order something. Very friendly, attentive and personable. Top! And very happy again. We haven't had such good service in the catering industry for a long time! Thank you!

We came to celebrate the birthday of our dear colleague and friend. The large group was served in a friendly, prompt and excellent manner - despite the many different orders. In addition to a great location, great portions, a birthday dessert surprise and a 43 shot on the house, our nice and courteous waiter made the evening perfect. We would be happy to come back with our group very soon.

Ruth was our waitress and she was very kind and polite, as visitors her knowledge of English was very helpful. The food was also very good, especially since there were gluten free options.

A great experience from start to finish! The welcome was warm and the service was always super nice and attentive. The burger was fresh, juicy and tasted great. The atmosphere in the store was also convincing. It's definitely worth a visit and we'll be happy to come back!

Very tasty and a nice large selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers. Ordering via mobile phone works without any problems, even if it is a bit unusual. At lunchtime there is a fair offer as a lunch menu. The restaurant is comfortably furnished.

The food was delicious, you could spontaneously come in with 13 people on a Sunday evening! However, in the women's toilet in the last two rear cubicles there was a really inconvenient toilet paper dispenser through which you could only get small 2x2cm scraps. The toilet was also extremely dark, which can be very disadvantageous as a woman. In addition, the benches were particularly uncomfortable, you wouldn't want to sit there for 2 hours. So basically the restaurant is quite good and I like going to the chain, but I would really want to avoid this branch because of the benches if you want to have a comfortable dinner... What a shame!

We ate there for the second time now. Very friendly and courteous staff. The burgers there are also very, very tasty. I also think the beautiful furnishings are very good and successful.

The food is okay, but not a highlight. The service is miserable. Even though the shop was empty, it wasn't until 20 minutes later that we were asked if we wanted something to drink or eat. The atmosphere is cozy.

Everything was just incredibly good. Starting from the reception, despite not having a reservation, we got a table straight away without a lot of waiting. The food was super fresh, super tasty and arrived super quickly!!! The service was second to none!! We have never been served so quickly! The ambience is great and the restaurant is beautifully located in the middle of the city, perfect for taking a short break while shopping or ending the evening there!! One of the best Hans im Glück I've ever been to!!!! We'll be back.

At Hans im Glück in Düsseldorf, the burgers unfortunately had a slightly unpleasant smell, reminiscent of a low-quality fast food restaurant, and the service was noticeably slow. While the ambiance is warm and inviting, these issues detracted from the overall experience. Enhancing both the food quality and service efficiency could significantly improve the dining experience.

Very nice burger restaurant with a birch forest atmosphere. The selection is great as the burger is offered in all possible variations in terms of meat or veggi, the bun and sauce. Everything was very tasty and the cocktails were really good too!

There were 5 of us there and we are super satisfied, Ruth served us really well, we still had to wait a long time and had a great time!

My daughter really enjoys coming here. She thought it was really tasty!

The classic burger and fries are, as you would expect from Hans im Glück, very tasty. Grandma's secret rounds off the menu sweetly. What should be highlighted is the extremely fast and always charming service led by the excellent Lamar. And the atmosphere is exceptionally beautiful and warm. That's why we come here regularly. Many thanks to the entire team!

12/07/2024 Again and as always a great evening, very tasty and outstanding service that goes straight to the heart. Everything fits, from the totally friendly and almost familiar welcome, to the very attentive and forward-looking service, to delicious food and simply a very pleasant, modern and yet cozy atmosphere. We were there with three generations and everyone was happy. Our dear Papa & Grandpa enjoyed a bowl with great appetite, our “Mama & Grandma” burgers and fries - it was surprisingly easy to find something for everyone. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening! A great experience - we look forward to the next visit! ❤

First we waited at the entrance for almost 5 minutes When we were at the table they didn't explain to us that we could order using the scanner or from the service. When we discovered the scanner we ordered, we waited for almost an hour, 3 things were missing and the burgers were cold. There was no apology or anything like that. In the meantime a service person came and wanted to bring us food, but it wasn't for us. We told her that we didn't order it and she simply replied that it was probably for another table. Her tone made us feel like we were to blame. Even though the burgers were cold, they still tasted pretty good.

We are still sitting here after 50 minutes of waiting for our food, a waitress (dark long hair) tried to sell us the wrong food and became super rude and unpleasant even though SHE brought the wrong food to the wrong table. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. The lady should ask herself whether walking around with a face like that is the right job for her!! The food reached our table after a good 60 minutes, looked good, but was cold!

A wonderful experience all around

Food is 4 out of 5, sweet potato fries a little dry and definitely not a top level in Düsseldorf 🥱 but the order taking is really random 🤣 Will come back to give it another chance 😮‍💨

We ate well and our service was top. But I don't like to be described as "they'll be gone soon". We were harassed by intrusive standing guests and it was made clear by the person assigning the table that we and the guests at the other tables had to disappear after eating so that this group, who did not want to sit at the table reserved for them, had enough space . I thought Hans im Glück was a restaurant and not a cheap old town pub. A very unpleasant situation for my daughter and me.

The burger was very good and the service was very friendly. Even though the restaurant was full, we didn't have to wait long for our food.

Portions small and overpriced for what you get. Tomato in fries was old and dry. Fries were pretty over fried. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the chairs/benches, if there are any at all. It's a board with some fleece.

The food was really tasty, I took a burger with chicken breast and sweet potato fries. It was Saturday night at a busy time so it took some time to get a seat this I can understand, but it took a very long time for the food to come after ordering (around 40mn) . Otherwise the place is very nice and well decorated.

Music way too loud. I couldn't wait to leave the restaurant because the loud music, of which only the bass was audible, made it almost impossible to entertain. We had to wait almost an hour for the food.

Very tasty food, fine drinks, nice service

The burger was really tasty! But my salad was definitely no longer fresh. It was very brownish at the edges. But the dressing was delicious. The fries were quite good again. However, the seating could be more comfortable given the price range. The benches remind me more of a fast food restaurant. The waitress was very nice and gave us a 10% discount each as a refund because of the bad salad. Which is why I assume that it's actually not common to get such poor quality. My previous experiences there were always a 4 out of 5👍

We were served by a very friendly girl, maybe she is the manager. There is air conditioning inside and it was good on a hot day.

Super friendly staff. We skipped the burgers and went for loaded fries and a salad bowl. It was really good and I love their drinks of still water with fresh fruity ingredients. I wanted to have mango and mint, which wasn't on the menu. But it was no problem to make it for me. Staff speaks English and there's an English menu. Unfortunately smoking is allowed on their terrace (like everywhere in Germany), so that's the only non family friendly part of the restaurant.

I've been eating at Hans im Glück regularly for more than 8 years, but I've only been here in Düsseldorf a few times and unfortunately I can't recommend this branch. The service suffers greatly, the employees are listless, in a bad mood and overloaded with work. I've been ordering the same thing from Hans im Glück for years, but once I wanted to try something new and ordered a drink with lemon with my meal, but I couldn't drink it because it was far too bitter for me. I asked the waiter to change my drink to another, he refused and very harshly remarked that it was my own fault for ordering it and that it's my problem. I found this really cheeky and rude to me. So they are definitely not customer-oriented here; customer satisfaction also comes last. Why should I, as a regular customer, listen to comments like "It's your own fault, why order this if you don't like it"? Therefore never again and not recommended!! Now I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Very tasty burgers and a lot of variety, so there is something for everyone. Just a little expensive, even if you took one of the bundles with cocktails and fries, only the fries would be free
