Great food and great ambience. You might think you're sitting in a fancy diner in the USA. The shakes are an absolute killer for any calorie conscience but it's totally worth it. Bacon here is also made from beef, which goes really well with the taste of the burger. If I could I would give more than 5 stars!!!

Been there several times and never been disappointed. Simply unique in all areas, service, ambience and the most important point, the food. For me the best burger and truffle fries I've ever had. 10/10

Burger was fine , we had smash burger and double cheese burger. But it was my first time drinking this kind of beer and it was great.

Strongly not recommended, I ordered via Uber eats a burger without cucumbers n sesame seeds because I’m allergic. I spent 30€ and right now I can’t eat anything. So DISRISPECTFULL

The burger was relatively small for the price. The taste was okay, but not a highlight. The fries were unsalted or only very slightly salted. Unfortunately there was nothing on the table to add salt to. Outside you sit directly on a large street, but at least you are somewhat protected from the exhaust fumes by a plastic window. The disadvantage is that you have to go to the checkout to order. There is only table service in the sense that the food is brought to the table after it has been ordered at the checkout.

I ordered a burger without sesame seeds cause I’m allergic and it still arrived with it, orribile, I’ll never do an order again. Strongly not racommanded

One of the best restaurants burgers my bf has ever had

The design, PR, and atmosphere of the store were great. Ordered a Double cheeseburger, Ruby's special, and Caesar Salad. The patty was dry and didn't feel like a very tasty burger. The salad was also a bit difficult to eat since the lettuce was cut into four pieces. They use unique spikes, similar to Turkish hamburgers, and both are unusual burgers. It's like a Middle Eastern kapab. But if you're coming here because you want a hamburger, I guess it's a little different. It's fashionable though!

Awesome place to get a fantastic burger. They've got unlimited pickles so be sure to take advantage of that. Their desserts are absolutely huge.

The food and service are unique. Something for everyone. Open to flexible orders. We didn't have to wait very long to eat even though there were seven of us. One employee in particular named Lili was very attentive and friendly. I recommend this store and will definitely come back

For 2 people just under 50€ including drinks. Everyone can think what they want, but you only get quality here.

We only went there once and they took our order so annoyedly, not welcoming at all. The food was okay, but fell apart after the first bite because their (or just our) burgers were piled high unnecessarily. You have to either eat layer by layer or open your jaws like a snake.

At first, I was a bit worried because of the price. For me, personally, it’s a bit expensive but when I tried the burger and the cheese fries, I realized why it was that expensive because it was sooooo delicious. The chocolate shake was rich in flavor as well. I would say it was so worth the money.

Very nice American style restaurant. The service is impeccable. The price and quality of the food are very good. I would suggest going at midday to get the lunch special. They also accept dogs.

Very nice restaurant with very good food and good prices. What is most impressive, however, is the fast and polite service. It is also important that dogs are allowed at the indoor and outdoor tables.

Bad service. Woman was very rude. I wanted to get a children's menu and had to listen to how I wasn't a child anymore. The music was too loud so it was hard to have a conversation. The waitress ultimately promised us two cheesecakes on the condition that we give a good review, but without working out the good review. After we gave a good review despite everything, she still didn't give us a cheesecake. As we were about to leave, the same woman yelled at another customer.

Had the "Cheat Day" combo with my friend and we were pleasantly STUFFED! 🤣 The burgers and fries were AWESOME! The shakes were so cool and yummy, the server was super sweet and the restaurant looks incredible! But my personal favourite? The condiments section that was self help... so I definitely helped myself to some extra jalapeños!!! Definitely going back soon!

We recommend! Mega delicious burgers 😍 What we took: - Lady Jam 4/5 -The Champ 5/5 - Homemade Lemonade 5/5 - Big tip for the sauce: truffle mayo was the highlight! Goes really well with the fresh fries! Unfortunately a bit expensive for a sauce, but the quality was very good. Price-performance is really very good, especially if you can take advantage of the no-brainer deal (as a student until 6 p.m.) We'll definitely be back!

The best beef burger ever tasted in Dusseldorf - Germany

- The burgers are average. Of course they're not bad, but they're not burgers you'll remember in the future. The bun could be better and the meat was a bit dry. I think there are better options in Düsseldorf. - The fries are in great need of improvement. 5 euros was a waste of money. - The service leaves a lot to be desired. The burgers sit on the counter for a long time, waiting for an employee to bring them to each guest. During this time the burgers will get cold. In the end I had to pick them up myself. It was a big surprise when I saw an employee at the counter who had 5 trays of ready-made burgers next to him... but he was playing with his cell phone. - The atmosphere: Well, the decor is cool. I deducted one star for the music, too loud for my taste. - Price/performance: 3/5. 52 EUR for two burgers + fries + soft drink.... I wonder when burgers stopped being fast food and became gourmet. If at least the burgers were really good, it wouldn't bother me, but unfortunately that's not the case here.

Everything was great and the waitress was super friendly. In the evening me and my girlfriend thought about where we should go out to eat and we felt like eating buger and it wasn't disappointing, everything was perfect and definitely worth another visit to Düsseldorf

Food was amazing, BUT: the waitress was INCREDIBLY rude (she was a dark haired woman, we think her name is something like “Sara” from her necklace in Arabic). When we asked to order separately instead of together, she rolled her eyes at us and kept grunting at us. She rushed us when ordering the food, even though we were alone at the counter and there was not even one person behind us. Although we loved the food, she ruined the lunch for us. The other waiters were nice.

Good food and the milkshakes served very generously. I put 4 stars because I showed up 1 day before my birthday and the cashier refused to let me benefit from the offer!!!! Disappointed.

My visit to What's Beef in Düsseldorf was a real highlight. The Bacon Cheese Burger was fantastic – juicy, perfectly seasoned and with plenty of delicious bacon and melted cheese. The Parmesan lattice potatoes were crispy and absolutely delicious. The sauces rounded off the taste experience perfectly. A special highlight was the charming waitress Mimi. With her bright smile and her warm, welcoming manner, she really made the evening special. Your attentiveness and friendliness made not only the food shine, but also the atmosphere. Mimi has this special ability to wrap guests around her finger with her enchanting smile and a sparkling look - a real bright spot in the service. I'm looking forward to my next visit to What's Beef, not only because of the excellent food, but also because of the charming Mimi, who makes every guest feel very special.

The food and the ambience there are great! You can also order a vegetarian version of each burger and vegan options are also available. Each variant is very tasty and recommended. The side dishes are varied and if you feel like a delicious milkshake you will find it here. You have to go to the checkout and order there yourself. However, the food is brought to the place. But everything is also possible to-go. The atmosphere is very creatively designed. Clear recommendation for a visit.

Nothing really has anything to do with the burger from whatsbeef about 10 years ago. The quality has decreased extremely. Really not even in the top 10 in Düsseldorf anymore. A real shame

Unfortunately, today, after many years, I was a guest at Whats Beef. First of all, I don't really think it's a good thing that burgers and other dishes are offered behind the order counter that are no longer available and at prices that are no longer current. I then decided on a bacon cheeseburger......for 14.50 euros......For the price I expect a much better product than what I got. The patty was completely fried and light years away from medium rare, the bacon was just as fried and the cheese was hard to find. The bottom part of the bun was completely soggy. At 14.50 euros, I found the burger completely overpriced, even by Düsseldorf standards. Together with 1 can of Dr Pepper and the parking fees I came to 22.50 euros. The highlight was the toilets...dirty, the towel had been torn out of the dispenser and was hanging in the trash can. Terrible. Conclusion for me, years ago we drove from Lippstadt to Düsseldorf specifically for the burgers, today I wouldn't eat there again, even if I'm in Düsseldorf anyway. A pity

I am incredibly disappointed with my visit to What’s Beef. I ordered the Wagyu burger for a whopping €25, and what I got was hardly better than a Big Mac. Just look at the pictures – nothing about this burger justifies the price. The meat was average, the bun was dry, and the accompaniments looked anything but fresh. The fries for €4.50 were also a bad joke. Soft, bland, and not at all what you would expect for this price. To make matters worse, I also ordered the truffle mayo for €2, but it wasn't delivered at all. In total I spent €31.50 and feel totally ripped off. The burger was no better than what you get at McDonald's, and for a fraction of the price. I definitely won't be coming back and can only advise anyone not to eat here. Absolutely disappointing! And another thing!!!!! I don't give a damn about money... And yes, I have pictures of the burgers.

We got menus (lunch menu) and it was such a good juicy burger. You can tell this was made with the heart. Everything was well cooked and served very nicely. You can use as much mayo, ketchup and pickles as you want. The atmosphere is clean and very nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and also brought us a free dessert. Always my pleasure! Best decision to have eaten here. Super nice staff who advised us. The burger was just wow, extremely juicy and you could tell that they cook and serve everything with love. You can get as much mayonnaise and ketchup as you want and the atmosphere is perfect for this shop. The waiter brought us a free dessert at the end. If I am in Düsseldorf again, I will definitely come here again.

Delicious burger but unfortunately that certain something was missing that makes it a really good burger. A bit boring, not very spicy but everything was fresh. Unfortunately, the fries were only lukewarm, but still tasty. Absolutely okay for the price.
