Self-service with a little waiting time...

Shortly before the ferry left we wanted a fish sandwich. We were able to order at the counter in a relaxed manner and quickly had what were probably the best fish sandwiches in Rügen and Hiddensee. Absolutely recommend getting a fish sandwich there. We were very excited and certainly weren't there for the last time.

Without question a great concept, great furnishings, nice and friendly staff. The food is delicious. But why is there only one person who takes the orders?? She did it in a very relaxed and funny way, but the queue was very long. You could think about it again.

The location is very nice and fits the island very well. Right on the harbor, great location! The prices are a bit too high for self-service and the quality of the food. The menu mainly consists of fried food (better fast food), there are few healthy alternatives. Even the vegetables on the side are dripping with fat. The drinks, in turn, are original and delicious! We'll still come back, simply because it's a beautiful place with a great view ;-)

Relaxed atmosphere, food delicious and not run of the mill. Burgers mega-sized, fried fish fluffy, potato chips in an unusual style. When the weather is nice there is a large terrace.

If you sit at the table for ages and no waiter comes, it's because you have to order the food yourself, but it is brought to you. But from the beginning. We spent a really wonderful day on Hiddensee and wanted to end the evening with a nice meal before the ferry took us back to Wiek. Parked the bikes at the ferry dock and looked for a restaurant. There was a free table here so we took a seat. After what felt like an eternity of waiting for a waiter to diligently bring food to the tables, I happened to see a sign on the door (we were sitting right at the beginning of the terrace, far from this door) with the instruction to order yourself. Well, I would place this note at the table. There was only a QR coder here that led nowhere. So 2 of us went in while the rest waited at the seat, because there was now a long line waiting for a free seat and we didn't want to give up ours. So we decided what everyone would eat. The lady taking the order was really friendly, there's nothing to complain about. We got the drinks on a tray straight away. Getting this to the table in one piece was a balancing act as you had to weave past the line of people waiting to order and the line of people waiting to be seated. The food arrived in less than 15 minutes and was fantastic. The prices are hefty but I think that's what the island brings with it, things have to be brought here somehow.

Very tasty food. We had the fish burger, the schnitzel and a hangover sandwich with salmon. Everything was really great, especially the fries were exceptionally good. Rather expensive and unfortunately self-service, which wasn't 100% understandable given the number of waiters. But still an absolute recommendation.

The ordering process takes some getting used to. After a long descent, you don't really feel like standing in line and waiting. In addition, it wasn't clear to me at first glance how the ordering process works, which is why I almost sat down... but it could have been a long wait. The food was solid in a nice atmosphere. Due to the virtually non-existent service, there were no tips. You have to pay in advance anyway.

In times of a shortage of skilled workers, a sensible concept of self-service...the prices are borderline...portions large and tasty....

Top location at the harbor. Order at the counter and drinks are immediately available to take away at the table. Food will then be brought. You then take the dishes away yourself. Prices, yes, were a bit hefty, but it was tasty. Service friendly.

Very good food at fair prices. Rarely found on the island. Self-service with unfortunately very long waiting times at the checkout. You should come up with something, that stopped us from having a dessert and another drink.

Nice restaurant right at the harbor, but you have to pay for the location. We had to wait a very long time for the food. All guests who arrived after us received their food before us. It wasn't nearly full. There wasn't really an apology. Food was good but not great for the price.

A group of 7 spontaneously had dinner. There was no problem outside, but everything inside was occupied. I had the water buffalo burger. There's no question that it was tasty - but I would have liked it to be cooked a little more.... but A wasn't mentioned when I ordered it and B I didn't say anything myself - so everything was justifiable. I couldn't find anything wrong with the beer and spritzers. French fries were great. The price for 4x burgers with fries, 3x fries for the dwarves and 6 drinks (2x beer and 4x spritzer) is 133 island euros.

Completely overpriced because self-service. Food comes on a metal plate lined with paper. Paper dissolves while eating. The taste was ok but also intoxicating.

Very tasty food. We had the water buffalo burger and were very satisfied. Ordering was quick via the website, but can also be ordered locally at the checkout. Food is brought to you.

For the prices of the dishes, BBQ water buffalo burgers and grass-fed beef schnitzel, the dishes left a lot to be desired. The burger was cold and the schnitzel was tough. Staff tried to limit the damage but were unsuccessful.

Very nice staff. Orders are processed quickly. When the weather is nice, it's great to be able to sit outside and watch the goings-on in the harbor. I would be happy if ice cream sundaes were on the menu in the future. The alternative of the soft ice cream stand at the harbor should not be the limit. The food selection is very good. Will stop there on our next visits in the future.

If you like it greasy, this is the right place for you. Here everything is prepared in the hairdresser. The food sat heavy in the stomach for a very long time.

Wir waren zu viert und hatten Matjes und Bismarck Hering auf Salat, sehr frisch, sehr lecker und richtig grosse Portionen für preiswerte 14,50 Euro. Der Backfisch mir Pommeschips war von der Portion her ok, aber nicht richtig heiss und auch nicht frisch zubereitet sondern wahrscheinlich im Konvektor nur kurz warm gemacht. War mir zu trocken und zu hart. Das Essen zuzubereiten dauerte auch nur knapp 5 min bis es am Tisch war. Also 84 Euro für 4 Leute wäre ok mit 1 Getränk, wenn der Fisch für 17,50 Euro besser gewesen wäre. So kann ich leider nur 3 Punkte geben. Ambiente sehr nett, Selbstbedienung nicht so atmosphärisch, dadurch ein wenig Imbiss Charakter. Bier vom Fass vorhanden, Kartenzahlung möglich

Das ist eine teure Schnellimbisshalle ohne Herz und Gemütlichkeit. Man wird platziert, obwohl es genügend freie Tische gibt. Kein Service an den Tischen, alles Selbstbedienung, es sei denn man bestellt online mit QR-Code des Tisches an dem man sitzt. Gerichte sind nicht schlecht zusammengestellt, jedoch ungewürzt. Systemgastronomie zum „Sterne“-Preis.

Sehr nette Bedienung, Essen war schnell auf dem Tisch, hat super lecker geschmeckt, von der Menge reichlich, Preise sind fair. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren zu dritt zum Abendessen dort: Positiv: rasche Bedienung, sehr gute Fischsuppe, frittierte Stinte mit passenden Dips. Negativ: Backfisch schien nicht frisch, zuviel Panade, Backfisch-Burger ok, Preise bei Selbstbedienung scheinen uns nicht angemessen. Keine Wiederholung geplant.

Schöne Location direkt am Hafen. Es gab verschiedene Gerichte, die Fischbrötchen haben uns als Imbiss gereicht und waren mega lecker. Bestellt wurde an der Theke, es wurde aber alles an den Tisch gebracht. Tolles Team, weiterhin viel Erfolg und alles Gute.

Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant und toller Aussicht im Außenbereich. Selbstbedienung grundsätzlich kein Problem, wenn jemand Zeit hätte Bestellungen anzunehmen. Jedes Getränk und Essen direkt bezahlen nervt....für schnell und viel Essen vielleicht zu empfehlen...aber gemütlich wird es durch die Rennerei und Bezahlerei nicht. Hafenkater- Nein Danke!

Sehr zu Empfehlen. Klasse Restaurant mit Selbstbedienung beim bestellen. Auch ein paar Glutenfreie Varianten beim Essen. Es kam innerhalb kürzester Zeit und die Portionen waren sehr groß, meine Kinder und auch ich haben es nicht geschafft. Ebenso die beiden Personen die uns begleitet haben. Es war sehr Lecker wir würden immer wieder kommen wenn es uns nach Hiddensee verschlägt. Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Ausklang eines tollen Tages.

Direkt am Hafen vom Vitte gibt es den Hafenkater. Wir waren zum Abend spontan zum Essen. Mit Blick auf den Hafen und einem gute regionalen Bier sind wir gestartet. Die Portionen sind groß, man wird locker satt. Die Karte hat für jeden Geschmack etwas zu bieten und auch das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist stimmig. Gerne wieder.

Auch weiß ich nicht warum ich als Erwachsener keine Kinder-Portion bestellen darf?!Lieber verschwenden wir Lebensmittel! Der Service ( ein Mann in schwarz ) wirkte Recht unhöflich.

Fast kein Service, dafür Vorauskasse mit Trinkgeldwunsch - geht es noch?! Preise insbesondere für Getränke ohne Leistung sondern Selbstbedienung einfach zu hoch. Essen ist geschmacklich sehr gut, aber wenig Bedarf nach Wiederholung (Siehe oben ).

Super Location, leider stimmt das Preisleistungsverhältniss der ganzen Karte in keinster Weise. Kellner kaum vorhanden, daher Selbstbedienung mit Vorkasse wie bei McDonald, außerdem Personal verwirrt unaufmerksam, ungeschult und nicht ausgerüstet. Ausserdem sollte man beim Ketchup/ Majo bestellen auf den „minimalen“ Aufpreis von 0,80 Euro achten. Wir hatten gleich für 4 Personen Ketchup und Majo bestellt:) Das 100g Burgerpatty bei einem Preis von über 18 Euro war aufgewärmt, nicht frisch gebraten. Leider zerstört das den Traum eines vorher mega Hiddenseer Restaurants, das wir vorher sehr gerne besuchten.

Wenn man auf die Fähre wartet und es anfängt zu regnen, sucht man draußen unter Schirmen und im inneren Gastraum einen Platz - alles mit Selbstbedienung und der Mann hinter dem Tresen zum Bestellen war trotz Massenansturm ruhig und freundlich. Es kann auch über App und Barcode bestellt werden. Bersteinsandornkäsekuchen sehr lecker 🤤

Eines der wenigen guten Restaurant der Insel. Mein an der Kasse bestellter Burger war lecker und wurde zeitnahe sowie anschaulich serviert. Zusammen mit der wirklich stimmigen Einrichtung war es ein netter Besuch.

Essen ist schnell gekommen - dafür das draußen alles voll war, Servicekraft war nett, Preis total angemessen für eine Insel und wirklich gute Portionen. Ich hatte den Öne Burger und ja das Fleisch war doch eher well-done aber das mag ich eigentlich und die Soße und der Burger waren echt lecker 😋 Die Fischplatte für zwei sind auch gut portioniert und dazu dann noch die Aussicht über den Hafen. Uns hat es gefallen :) Man konnte sogar online gleich am Tisch über QR- Code bestellen und zahlen. Ohh und der Hund durfte dabei sein :)

Seit ein paar Jahren, ca 10 J, esse ich überall am Meer Fischsuppen. Bis jetzt war hier die beste Fischsuppe die ich je gegessen habe! Lokal ist modern eingerichtet direkt am Hafen in Vitte. Es ist eine Art Selbstbedienung aber das Essen wird am Tisch gebracht. Es ist wirklich sehr gut besucht. Für die Kids gibt es bunte Stifte und Papier mit dem Kater drauf. Es war Zufall dass wir dort gelandet sind und sind super positiv überrascht.
