Very tasty ice cream, many varieties. Nice service. Unfortunately, the second half of the freezer has been broken for weeks and therefore fewer varieties. Why isn't this repaired in midsummer?

Very tasty ice cream and very nice service.

Ice cream scoop €1.50 is okay and the taste was good too. But I find only cash and no card payments very silly, as you have to go and withdraw extra money.

We are big fans of the small branch in Polch. When we were in Mendig last week, we were unfortunately anything but satisfied. The ice cream generally tastes really good, you can't say anything about it. But my mom ordered spaghetti ice cream and while she was being served, the employee made three more coffees for another customer. In the end, the cup of spaghetti ice cream, which wasn't that big anyway, wasn't even half full. Although it was supposed to be three scoops of ice cream with cream and strawberry sauce. €6.50 for that is really a no go. However, the team behind the counter didn't seem to be completely attuned that day. Mistakes happen, but this half-full cup should not have ended up with the customer and if it had, it should have been given as a gift.

The ice cream is delicious but the service is too lazy to say hello and please. That's why you get the ice cream if you eat it on site in paper cups. There's no question of being served to the table. They don't have umbrellas either You'll learn how to provide shade. That's why it's incredibly hot outside and inside. If you want to cool down and relax, this is the wrong place for you!

Excellent ice cream. Contrary to some reviews here, I had a very good coffee crema for a moderate €2. Self-service. Ambience so-so, also because it is on the main street. Can be recommended.

Very tasty ice cream, not so sweet, exactly my taste. The ambience is clearly in need of improvement, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Service nice and friendly. There was also a lot going on, that speaks for itself. I will gladly come again.

The ice cream (ice cream parlor at Aldi) was very tasty. Afterwards we had a coffee crema and a latte. Neither had anything to do with coffee. The two young ladies were completely overwhelmed by our complaint. It was very crowded. The training includes both the coffee machine and dealing with a complaint. I would eat ice cream here again at any time 😉.

Best ice cream in the area! The operation varies depending on the person. Some are very nice and make decent big balls and others are so well. Unfortunately, the waiting times can be long, especially on a sunny weekend or public holiday (30 minutes and sometimes more; but you can also be lucky depending on the time). You could still work on the ambience and make it a little more comfortable. The cleanliness of the tables and chairs also needs improvement. Nevertheless, we always like to come back because the ice cream is really unique in terms of taste and quality.

Delicious ice cream and very good service. Unfortunately it's right on the main street in the commercial area, so the ambience outside is rather poor. But beautifully designed inside. It's nice that there is a large selection of vegan ice cream flavors.

Nice ice cream shop, where you are served well, and there is a lot of excellent ice cream and cappuccino

Ice cream was ok, the kids were happy. Unfortunately, the cappuccino was cold and there was hardly any milk foam. But the young lady in service was super nice and made an effort.

We have two ice cream sundaes to take away or one ice cream sundae and one ice cream cone. I can only say that the ice cream was super delicious, creamy and tasted like what you would imagine when you hear strawberry, for example. If we are in the area again we will definitely stop by. The location is not so lucky but that doesn't detract from the taste!!

Great food, nothing to complain about. The ice cream is also great in summer. Ambience could be better than at a train station. What bothers me most, however, is that in 2024 you still won't be able to pay by card everywhere. This is very backwards, in my opinion. Therefore only 4 out of 5 stars.

Very nice ice cream parlor, I was served by a very nice young lady, the hazelnut ice cream tastes fantastic! I would come here again and again :)

Good bye! We were there about 8:15 p.m. and the young ladies didn't want to give us any more ice cream, even though the opening hours are until 9 p.m. Well, the bad rating is definitely deserved! P.s.: Alternatively, you can go to the Italian Vulcano, where you can always get delicious ice cream at any time :)!

We often ride our bikes to Mendig for the ice cream. The only shame is that they don't have a lot of seating outside.

Leckeres Eis...immer wieder ...das lohnt sich immer

Hmm, was soll ich sagen? Wir waren mit mehreren Leuten da und das war wohl überfordernd. Service gab es dadurch leider gar nicht. Wir mussten unseren Bestellzettel selbst schreiben und die Eisbecher dann auch noch selbst holen, schade :(

Wie immer sehr netter Service und wie immer lecker das man mehr isst als man eigentlich möchte 😂😘

Eis von durchschnittlicher Qualität zu einem fairen Preis (1,40€ im Juni 2023).

Eis ganz gut, aber jetzt nicht so besonders. Es gibt meistens keine Sahne, ausverkauft finde es immer schade.

2 x Erdbeerbecher bestellt, einer davon mit "Sonderwunsch" (Schokoladensoße), was problemlos umgesetzt wurde. Zwei freundliche, junge Damen als Bedingung. Der Innenraum und die sanitären Anlagen waren völlig in Ordnung - entgegen einiger anderer Rezensionen zuvor. Leider kann ich überhaupt nicht zustimmen, dass das Eis "sehr lecker" war, wie einige Andere vor mir schrieben. Das Eis und die Sahne waren schon stark geschmolzen auf dem Weg nach draußen an den Tisch (wir haben es an der Bedientheke bestellt und selbst mit nach draußen genommen). Geschmacklich kann es definitiv mit dem Eis einiger anderer Eiscafés, die ich kenne (z. B. Andernach, Neuwied, Weißenthurm) nicht mithalten, auch die Qualität ist nicht vergleichbar. Schade. Aber vielleicht werden die Beurteilungen zum Anlass genommen, die Qualität zu verbessern...

Der Standort und die Eisdiele an sich sind nicht besonders schön, das Eis hat aber sehr gut geschmeckt. Preislich war der Spaghetti Becher auch vollkommen in Ordnung. Trotz das sehr viel los war, wurde man recht zügig bedient.

Sehr nette Bedienung ,Eis gut ,und die Kleidung der Mitarbeiter lässt zu wünschen übrig ob in Mendig oder woanders von Fabio Eis Geschäft....

Hat mit dem Eis von früher nix mehr zutun. 90% von dem Eis schmeckt leider nach nix.

Das Eis ist geschmacklich ok, es gibt eine große Auswahl. Leider steht man immer viel zu lange an. Die Mädels sind bis auf eine Ausnahme nicht sehr zackig. Oft wird mit dem Handy gespielt. Die Tische sind oft dreckig und im Innenbereich riecht es immer sehr komisch.

Muss ich kein 2 tes Mal haben. Fand das Eis überhaupt nicht lecker, sondern sehr fade 😔 Na ja

Eis verkauft jede Eisdiele, gutes Eis verkauft Fabio. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Einfach köstlich :)

Hervorragende Eisdiele! Schönes Lokal, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Man kann innen und außen sitzen.

Eis ist ganz gut und es gibt für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Was gar nicht geht, sind klebrige Tische, die nicht abgewischt werden können, weil das Personal damit beschäftigt ist, am Handy zu sitzen. Wenn der Laden gut besucht ist, dann kann man das ja vllt. verstehen. Aber sicher nicht, wenn der Laden leer ist. Leere Schüsseln und schmutzige Bänke sowie Tische, laden nicht unbedingt zum Bleiben ein. Nochmal würde ich nicht vor Ort essen.

Sehr große Auswahl zu moderaten Preisen. Empfehlenswert.

Sehr viele außergewöhnliche Eissorten, nur Milchreis aber sehr lecker.

Gerne kommen wir hier auf eine "schnelle", aber vor allem klasse Pizza vorbei. Manchmal nehmen wir uns die Pizza und Salate auch mit nach Hause. Im Sommer gibt es von der Tür nebenan (gleicher Besitzer) auch noch lecker Eis. Im Gebäude gibt es ein paar Plätze. Der Lieferdienste endet leider schon am Laacher See. Treue Kunden werden belohnt - daher empfhiehlt sich Fabio neben dem Geschmack hier auch noch die Kassenzettel zu sammeln.
