Guys, eating is really good at first but then you end up drinking a lot of water

After a long time I thought I would go and have a kebab plate again at Orient in Mendig. I used to like going to the older location, it was tasty and there was always something to talk about. Went to the new store today on October 17th, 2024, ordered a kebab plate with rice and salad and veal. The store was empty and the food was on the table within a few minutes. I start to eat and then comes the shock 😢 the meat was like polyester and completely over-salted. It was really, really bad. Rice was perfectly fine. Salad, well, but you could hardly eat the meat, the only thing you could taste was salt and more salt. For me it's okay to visit this shop until the quality of meat doesn't change. Phew disappointed, it hits the hardest I came to the store with my son at half past five and ordered two kebabs. 30 minutes later my kebab still wasn't ready, let alone said anything to me or apologized for the long wait. I then went to the front and stood directly in front of the staff and no one made any attempt to communicate with me. sorry, I work with 4 people and are completely overwhelmed. The hard part was that they cut the meat down, then put it in the oven in a pizza pan and then placed it under the skewer. I thought this was going on here and just left. I'm sorry but that doesn't work...

Nice bistro with a nice atmosphere and the food tastes good. Special requests will be accommodated. Unfortunately it is not barrier-free and there is no possibility of sitting outside. The staff is friendly, but speaks very little.

We were there this evening and wanted to order takeaway: A pizza half kebab meat only with cheese and half sucuk only with cheese and a pide only with minced meat, cheese and onions. On the pizza with extra cheese. We paid for it and then went back to the car. The waiting time was very long (approx. 40 minutes). When we checked in the car to see if our order had been completed correctly, we unfortunately discovered that the pizza had vegetables (peppers, onions) on it. So I'm disappointed and after a long wait I went back to the shop and showed the pizza to the staff and asked them to prepare it properly again. I then had to wait another 20 minutes until the extra cheese topping was forgotten on the pizza. I was very disappointed at the end of the day. I have been a loyal guest with you for several years, but recently such small mistakes have been happening very often and this is much to the dismay of the guests. I will probably buy or order my pizza or kebab somewhere else in the future. Some good advice: you need to work on your service again.

I've always been happy so far, but today I'm under the weather! Ordered picked up - a kebab roll was missing - called - should I come and get it - then the rest was unpacked and a kebab roll was wrong (ordered was spicy chicken with everything) - called - in the meantime someone was already on the way to pick up the missing roll - I should get the wrong roll give it so that you can see that it is wrong and then you will get a new one. Very customer friendly I have to drive twice and I don't live in Mendig. The last time I was there was when a customer wasn't even believed that the roll was wrong and it was only exchanged in exchange. Photo attached of the wrong role!

Very tasty food. Köftetaschen or Turkish pizza is highly recommended. You have to keep in mind that it is quite busy at peak times and there can be longer waiting times. It is recommended to pre-order by telephone. Please note that card payment is currently not possible 04/24.

We really enjoy ordering there and so far we've always enjoyed everything. The staff are polite and helpful. The ambience is very simple, but you still sit comfortably there. It's just a kebab house and not a restaurant in terms of ambience.

Due to the closure of my previously favorite kebab shop, I've been trying something new for some time. Now I've gotten around to trying the Orient Kebaphaus. First impression: Clean, well-kept, friendly staff. Food neatly arranged. Ordered a kebab in the classic way, the meat was hot, the bread was slightly toasted (just right in my opinion), the salad and ingredients were fresh and a delicious sauce. Two or three days later I tried pizza there...I was really surprised! For me, a suitable ratio between dough thickness and baking condition, good ingredients... (salami and cheese were really good quality), no spice that stands out, no oil film on the topping. All around a good meal. I'll eat there more often and try it out. We recommend !

Everything was great, since I always take food with me I don't really care about the ambience.

I've tried pretty much everything they offer and it was very tasty, once a week is a must. Highly recommended 👍👌

Orientalischer Imbiss in Mendig. Die Pizza Peperoniwurst war gut, würzig und für einen Imbiss absolut in Ordnung. Kartenzahlung möglich. Portionen der anderen Sachen, sahen gut aus.

Prima kebaphaus. Schoon en netjes, vriendelijk personeel en het belangrijkste: lekker eten! De vegetarische optie - falafel - was erg goed en ook de kebab was erg lekker.

Sehr gute Döner und Pizzen zu fairen Preisen. Der Service ist super und das Personal freundlich. Atmosphäre ist ruhig und die Ambiente ist angenehm.

Heel leuke zaak, voldoende plaats om te zitten en heel netjes. Vriendelijke mensen en super lekker gegeten. Grote porties, heel veel keuze. Aanrader!

Nettes Personal, sehr leckeres Essen, kann ich nur empfehlen !

Der Kalbfleisch-Kebab war miserabel gewürzt... aus Kostengründen war der Kebabspieß nur aus Fleischbrät zusammengesetzt... ein geschichteter Kalbfleisch-Spieß kostet 35% mehr im Einkauf...schmeckt dafür aber 100% besser. Fazit: Döner reichte allein zur Nahrungsaufnahme. Genießen konnte man ihn nicht.

Wir bestellen dort regelmäßig und wurden qualitativ noch nie enttäuscht. Außerdem ist auch die Freundlichkeit des Personals erwähnenswert. Weiter so!!!

Sehr nettes Personal. Habe dort eine Drehfleisch-Hähnchen Pizza gegessen. Obwohl.ich Drehfleisch normalerweise nicht so mag war die Pizza sehr sehr lecker und der Boden auch schön knusprig. Preise sind ortsüblich. Wir haben die Pizza mitgenommen aber man kann drinnen auch gemütlich sitzen.

Waren heute das erste Mal hier würde gerne mehr als 5 Sterne vergeben geht leider nicht. Alles super gut und das Essen einfach gigantisch. Sobald wir können kommen wir wieder.

Essen ist lecker ...sind freundlich aber die Wartezeit ist einfach zu krass ...ich meine ist ein gutes Zeichen wenn man etwas wartet aber das ist schon echt lange um mir ein Lage bild zuverschaffen war ich vor Ort...es gibt echt nichts zu bemängeln außer die warte zeit selbst vor Ort...meiner meinung ist das ein Organisations-problem !

Bin angenehm überrascht. Essen super lecker, Bedienung freundlich und nett . Alles sauber auch die Toiletten. Würde ich nicht in Österreich wohnen, würde ich dort immer wieder einkehren.
