Super friendly staff, food was brought to the table very quickly after ordering. The food and drinks tasted very good. A large selection of beers and homemade schnapps. The toilets were well maintained and clean.

The service leaves nothing to be desired, the food is like at mom's home and the historical ambience is fascinating throughout.

While we were passing through, we spontaneously decided to eat here. Without registering, we immediately got two seats in the busy restaurant. There was a cheap daily special that wasn't on the menu. It was very tasty and was completely enough for us. Plus beer brewed on site. What particularly impressed us was how well organized this company is. All the employees were busy, but no one seemed to be under excessive stress as a result. Everyone remained friendly throughout. And although it was completely full in the large hall at the back, it wasn't overly loud so you could still have a conversation.

Leon is very polite, nice, accommodating and quick. And he has a positive sense of humor, it was a nice stay, thank you very much.

There were 5 people eating and unfortunately 2 meals were returned. Service was ok for the fairly large store and they were also quite quick. Basically, you can be lucky when it comes to food. Unfortunately not the first food-related experience. Apparently something is "weird" in the kitchen. It is essential that adjustments are made here so that there is a constant here. But drinks are all ok! ;) Let's see what it's like on a possible next visit.

The beer garden is great, under large shady trees and umbrellas. The beer is all organic and there is a large selection. The food is of a very high standard and a lot of it is organic.

Brewery with the oldest rock cellars. A modern dining room and a great lounge area with a sports bar invite you to linger. The service is well trained, friendly and very attentive. The food is of high quality and is very appetizingly prepared and served. A rock cellar tour with Wolfgang provides unexpected insights into the field of knowledge about volcanoes, the production and storage of beer; A look into the brewery shows the history and current brewing processes.

We ate there for the first (and probably last) time yesterday. We met with friends, as always, in a restaurant that was easily accessible to everyone. We informed ourselves in advance about what the restaurant had to offer and saw a typical brewery offering at normal prices. The restaurant was well attended. We were surprised at the prices displayed on the menus. All prices were significantly higher than shown online. All meals up to €4 more expensive. Starter 2 - 3 €. The dishes we ordered were very plain and of poor quality. Meat too tough, salad old, fries cold and hard as bones. The whole restaurant gave the impression of mass processing and the currently hip train station flair, no love for the dishes. Herb butter, which in my opinion goes with a steak, had to be paid extra for €3. The visitors to the associated beer garden were impressed by their drunken volume. We expected more and will refrain from further visits. The service was friendly and you certainly can't be held responsible for the quality at these prices.

We, the VdK Hainstadt local association, were guests with 57 people. What can I say, I have never experienced anything so professional. From the reception, to the reception of drinks and food, simply great and the friendliness of the young staff really impressive. Had a meal with family; Men did this beer tasting. Everything was really great. Staff so quick and courteous. Especially fond of children 🥰. Had a great waiter; food was also great. We ate there for the first time yesterday to test it out. Well, what can I say? I don't want to complain, but you should be allowed to express your opinion. So my meal was very tasty, had pullet pork plate. There was nothing to complain about. Well prices have of course increased everywhere. The exception is the area in the Bavarian Forest, where we always go. For example, in the restaurant, 0.5 liters of beer costs 2.80 euros, and a fresh schnitzel with fries and cranberries costs from 10.50 to 12 euros. Well, sponge off it. Oh, if you don't believe it, you have the memory card in your cell phone and can show it to everyone. But whatever. My wife's meal was pork fillet with spaetzle (I would say, ready-made product) with salad. The food went like this, not too spicy, but ok. But now nothing special that I have to say, I definitely have to go there again. And the drinks prices. Well, we'd better not talk about it. A 0.33 liter bottle of non-alcoholic drink costs an impressive 4.20 euros. It's nice, but like almost everywhere these days. Many prices are no longer justified for a long time. And so that there is no complaining. I was self-employed for a long time until my health got the better of me. And I can still do the math.😉 Otherwise the atmosphere is very nice, I really liked it. The conditions are friendly and, above all, they make a great impression on me. People address each other as you, which I personally always like better. But maybe it won't appeal to everyone. But you can't please everyone. So counted together. The surroundings are nice, conditions are nice and friendly, the food is unfortunately sometimes mediocre, especially when you look at the price-performance ratio. You can go there, but you don't necessarily have to. If you are going as a family with children, you should have enough money with you. All in all, neither better nor worse than Maximilian construction methods. And by no means cheaper. Seen this way, the longer route is not necessarily worth it. But maybe you can work on it a bit. Will test it again at some point. With that in mind, see it as positive criticism!!! Just a small note, the toilets weren't that great yesterday in terms of cleanliness. Which of course also depends on the operation and often of course the guests. But as a tip, take a look every now and then and clean it again if necessary.

We went to the brewery restaurant for lunch with four adults and a 4.5 year old child. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted at the entrance and shown to a shady place under the trees in the immediate vicinity of the fenced-in playground. This meant my daughter could play while parents and grandparents could concentrate on choosing the food and drinks in peace. Although it was very busy, ordering from the waiter and preparing the food went very quickly. The quality and taste of the food was also good, although not cheap. E.g. pulled pork burger, without side dish, for 17 € and, for example, chili cheese fries for another 7 €. The brewery also has a shop with beers from the brewery and agricultural products from the Eifler area. Conclusion: Not a cheap one, but a pleasant visit.

We went there to eat several times during our vacation. Even got a seat on the first evening without a table reservation. Very nice and friendly staff. Food and drinks very good. If we come close again, we will definitely stop there again.

We live in the area surrounding the volcano brewery and so I have known the shop for years. The beer is great across the board and very tasty. While eating there were always ups and downs. We were last there in August 2024 and the food was great again. The prices have risen quite a bit but it also tastes very good and the portion is right. No matter whether it was knuckle, schnitzel or pulled pork, everything was juicy and delicious. The waiting time was short and the waitresses in the beer garden were very attentive. It can stay that way. Clear recommendation if you like delicious beer and hearty food.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Mendig Volcano Brewery and our experience was completely fantastic! Before we enjoyed our delicious meal, we took part in a beer tasting, which we really enjoyed. Not only was it extremely interesting and informative, but it was also excellently delivered. We were really impressed by the variety of beers and the passion with which the information was conveyed. The beer tasting is absolutely recommended. Our dog was also warmly welcomed and was immediately provided with water, which made us particularly happy. It's nice to see that the brewery is so dog friendly. We would particularly like to highlight the excellent service and great advice we received from our waiter Davide. Davide was not only extremely friendly and attentive, but also kept us entertained with his humor and warm manner. His food and drink recommendations were to the point and you could tell straight away that he was passionate about what he was doing. The food was excellent. The atmosphere in the brewery is also very welcoming and cozy, and the selection of beers is impressive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Have already eaten twice at the Vulkan brewery. Food is mediocre, the portion of Braumeister Schnitzel was disappointing on both visits. I really don't think 24€ for this is justified.

Were in Mayen for work and then stopped at the brewery on the way home. Very tasty pork steak with chanterelles. The doneness was on point, crispy crust and a hint of rosé on the inside. Linda was super nice and accommodating! Don't forget to stop at the shop.

Brewery cuisine at the highest level! Almost all dishes are now organic - the home-brewed beers have been for years and are an absolute recommendation. We come regularly and are 100% satisfied every time.

I recently had a late night meal here. The service was very good and quick. The food tasted quite good so far, but unfortunately you notice that it is designed for masses and no longer for individual class... Therefore, the price-performance ratio is a bit too high. What I generally think is a shame that Vulkan beer has become so expensive, even if the quality is absolutely unsurpassed. It's really hard for me to spend so much money on a little hop tea.

My husband and I went there last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All I can say is: Great! Top! Top! Our service person Jessy was super friendly and always attentive! The other employees who brought the food were also very nice and friendly! The food itself was served more than quickly, was very tasty and, above all, plentiful! So the price-performance ratio is without a doubt right there! The atmosphere between staff and guests was very relaxed and fun, even though the place was packed! Very happy again!!!

Absolutely worth seeing. Felsenkeller, the deepest brewery, 153 steps, 32 m deep - Jan, who explained the history well and told it humorously. Food and drink, upstairs in the brewery - great...always worth a trip.

Thank you for a great day! We were your guests last week. After a friendly welcome, we secured a nice spot in the sports bar. The service was friendly and attentive from the first minute to the last. After a few delicious beers, we looked at the menu. We then decided on steak, spare ribs and pork belly. All three dishes were excellent (delicious). All in all a very successful day. We'll be back.

Spent another wonderful afternoon in the best weather with dear friends at the Vulkan Brewery. The pork knuckles, two different burgers and a fish nuggets children's dish were excellent as always! Our waitress was also very friendly and charming (Davide - best regards!). We would be happy to come back any time!😌
