Vulkan Brauerei in Mendig

Bisher immer zufrieden und gut gegessen Zum wiederholten Male habe ich hier gegessen aber das war das letzte Mal. Preise werden immer teurer. 19 € für die Currywurst und Mayo noch extra. Das geht einfach zu weit.

Die Vulkan Brauerei bietet gutes Essen, wobei die Pommes für meinen Geschmack etwas zu kross waren, aber das ist nur meine Meinung. Die Auswahl an Getränken, vor allem von den selbstgebauten Bieren ist vorzüglich und empfehlenswert! Auch die Führung durch den tiefsten Bierkeller der Welt macht einen Besuch unvergesslich!

Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie da - vom Opa bis zum Kleinkind. Sehr freundlicher Service von Marco. Er hat sich ganz nett auch um die kleinen Gäste gekümmert. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und können es nur empfehlen. Wir waren schon öfters hier únd haben immer festgestellt, dass das Personal sehr freundlich und geschult ist. Findet man selten.

Wir sind wirklich jedes Mal wunschlos glücklich! Das Essen kommt immer zügig und ist qualitativ einwandfrei, der Preis gerechtfertigt. Super freundliches und aufmerksames Team, tolles Ambiente. Weiter so! 🫶🏼

Wir waren schon sehr oft im Brauhaus essen und waren bis jetzt immer begeistert. Heute waren wir nach der Firmung zu 5.da. Leider muß ich sagen ,das wir alle enttäuscht waren vom Essen, Jägerschnitzel mit verschiedenen Beilagen. Schnitzel kamen uns vor wie aus der Fritteuse, sehr viel Fett kam aus dem Schnitzel raus und Geschmack nicht wie früher. Jeder hat einen anderen Geschmack,das ist auch gut so.

Wildgulasch mit Klößen war ausgezeichnet, man war auch so nett, die Beilage etwas anzupassen. Das Bier aus eigener Brauerei echt spitze. Und ja - Hassan, Du bist der Beste! :-)

Wir waren im Brauhaus Mendig rundum sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich und das "rustikale" Ambiente hat uns ebenfalls überzeugt. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Besuch, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

Ein tolles Brauhaus mit freundlichen Personal.

War hier 2mal hintereinander mit Busgruppen und muss sagen besser geht es kaum. Top Speisen Auswahl frisch und lecker. Top Service flott und freundlich der Inhaber hat es verstanden, der Busfahrer hat 1000 Restaurants der Wirt 1 und wer sein Geschäft versteht macht es genau so. Perfekt ich werde immer wieder gerne mal vorfahren und Hungrige nette Leute bringen.

Hervorragendes Essen und hervorragendes Bier. Wir hatten das Wildgulasch und den 10std im smoker gegarten Nacken. Beides war zum niederknien. Jederzeit wieder. Jetzt 6 Jahre später wieder dort gewesen. An der Bewertung oben gibt's es absolut nichts zu rütteln.

Ohne Reservierung wird es schwer. Das sagt schon alles... Super lecker. Immer wieder gerne.

Heute das erste und auch letzte Mal dort gewesen. Ambiente war durch das Brauerei Feeling wirklich angenehm und das Personal auch sehr nett. Das große aber ist allerdings das Essen. Welches absolut nicht genießbar war. Wirkte sehr lieblos zubereitet, viel nach TK und fertig Produkten, sehr geschmacklos und nicht einladend zubereitet. Leider sehr enttäuschend und empfehle keinen weiteren Besuch

Tolles Brauhaus, tolle Biere, das Essen ist wie man es in einem Brauhaus erwartet. Sehr kommunikatives, lockeres Personal. Die Führung im Bierkeller ist sehr beeindruckend. Das Tasting 👍. Die Preise im Shop sind eher höher.

Sehr netter Service, gutes Essen und sehr gutes Bier.

Ich wollte im Onlineshop etwas bestellen. Leider funktioniert hier die angebotene Zahlart Paypal Lastschrift nicht. Naja, typisch Paypal eben... Habe dann per Email angefragt ob ich auch anders bezahlen kann, woraufhin mir sofort freundlich mitgeteilt wurde "überhaupt kein Problem". Das geht auch deutlich schlechter, siehe meine Bewertung zum Brauhaus Pirna. Bei der Vulkan Brauerei dagegen ist man flexibel und kundenorientiert. Habe dann meine Bestellung per Email mitgeteilt, am nächsten Tag eine Rechnung bekommen und heute kam das Paket. Genau so führt man einen Onlineshop, unkompliziert, super freundlich und persönlich. Und natürlich schmeckt auch das Bier hervorragend 🍺! Nochmals danke an Jana und Madeline. Fünf Sterne 🍻 👍.

Toller Brauereigasthof mit vielen eigenen Biersorten. Daneben gibt es Führungen und ein Biertasting. Und diese Führung (Bierkeller), inkl. Tasting (mit Mike) war mit Abstand die Beste, die ich jemals hatte.

Heute von Hassan bedient worden! Bester Mann ! Freundlich, zuvorkommend, klasse service einfach ein Entertainer! Und ganz wichtig BVB Fan ! Nur der BVB Hassan 👊 Bleib wie du bist ! Top Typ! Volle Punktzahl !

We went to eat at this brasserie after visiting the Volcano Museum, which is right next door. The currywurst we ordered was generous and delicious. We opted for an organic beer from a local abbey. The children received a small gift at the end of the meal.

Visit over the Christmas holidays with a group of 6. Overall impression: Very good selection of food and drinks, vegan options significantly underrepresented. Not cheap, rather expensive, especially the drinks, e.g., organic wheat beer 0.5 liters €5.90, organic dark beer 0.3 liters €3.90, organic non-alcoholic light beer 0.33 liters €4.20. The Wiener Schnitzel for €19 won't necessarily satisfy a hungry stomach. Organic mayonnaise is an extra €1. The chicken salad for €19 is generally good, but there was a piece of bone in the chicken fillet. Fries cost an extra €5. Overall, not an everyday restaurant, more of a special occasion.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic time at this sports bar! I'd especially like to commend our waiter, León. He was consistently extremely polite, attentive, and very accommodating. He immediately addressed all the guests' wishes and needs, always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. We felt completely welcome and very well looked after. This kind of service isn't a given these days – kudos to León! We'll definitely be back.

Always the perfect place to enjoy excellent and innovative brewery cuisine (with accompanying beer specialties) after a hike in the Eifel region. Sometimes even without a hike ;-).

The location is absolutely amazing! Simply breathtaking. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. As wheelchair users, we've rarely experienced anything like it. The food is also highly recommended – delicious! You receive excellent advice and feel truly valued. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and we'd gladly drive another 100 kilometers or so, simply because it was so wonderful. There's also a wheelchair-accessible restroom downstairs in the entrance area. 👍👍👍 And no, even after our third visit, nothing has changed; everyone is so kind and friendly, it's unbelievable. You simply feel at ease, and that's the most important thing! 👍👍👍😋😋😋 It's a shame there aren't more stars, otherwise I would gladly award them.

Hello, Unfortunately, as a passing visitor to the brewery shop, I'm very disappointed because the opening hours don't match the actual times, and attempts to improve them have apparently failed several times already. You can't just advertise online that you don't open until 12:00 PM, and I deliberately kill time until then, only to arrive and see a sign promising a 30% discount from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. With a marketing concept like that, I really wonder what the person behind it is up to, and I feel cheated. Given the amount I was buying, the discount would have easily amounted to ten euros. 🧐😞

It's still cozy even after the renovation. There's a large selection of food and drinks, all very tasty. The service staff is excellent – ​​friendly, polite, and professional. We always enjoy coming back here.

We finally visited Vulkanbräu again on a "normal" weekday after a long time. Even with four people and a dog, we found a great spot where we could eat undisturbed. The food was—as always—delicious! And our server, Lena, and her colleagues were very attentive and friendly. As always, we were very satisfied and will definitely be back. We wish the whole team a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I would give 5 stars for the friendliness of the staff who worked there on Sunday and for the products, but: We were in the store today and bought a mixed case of beer, half pale ale and half Sud13. Both cases cost €32.99 each. At the checkout, we were then told that one mixed case – for whatever reason – cost €36.99. I didn't want to argue, and since it was supposed to be a gift, I paid. But I don't think it's right or understandable. Reply to the reply: Unfortunately, I didn't take the receipt. If I made a mistake with the price and it really was only 13 cents, then I take it all back! But if it's just a rounding error, I don't understand why it's not possible to correct it. And of course, I mentioned it at the checkout.

We always love stopping here on our travels. The food is fantastic, the beer is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. Anyone looking for delicious food while traveling in the Eifel region should definitely eat here. I've been coming here with groups for a long time, and the food has always been fantastic 😋 😋. And 10 out of 10 for the service – always with a smile 😃 😀 😄 at work, no matter how busy it is, even when the restaurant is packed. But ⚠️Attention⚠️ it's best to reserve a table!!! Lots of people already know how good it is here!!!!!

The brewery in Mendig is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is cozy and authentic; you can immediately sense the passion for good beer and regional tradition. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and happy to explain the various brewing processes. Mr. Zerwas and Mr. Groß deserve special mention for doing a great job. It's a place where you simply feel at ease. I'll definitely be back!

We received a very warm welcome. The menu was varied and perfectly adequate for our needs. The appetizers we ordered were very tasty and met our expectations. As for the main courses, the rump steak was cooked to perfection. The pulled pork platter was juicy and beautifully presented. For dessert, our son thoroughly enjoyed the cookie with vanilla ice cream. Throughout our entire visit, we were very well looked after.

She played a key role in making us feel welcome from the very beginning. We had originally planned a tour of the world's deepest beer cellar. Due to health reasons, some had to cancel at the last minute. However, the brewery responded very kindly and flexibly – truly exemplary. All in all, a fantastic venue for events, great food, and a truly special experience. Highly recommended! 🍺✨

Hospitality is paramount at the VULKAN Brewery. The service is always friendly and prompt. Every beer and every dish I've tried so far has been exceptionally delicious, and the value for money is excellent! I love spending time in the cozy dining room, but the beer garden is also a lovely place to relax on sunny days.

Went here on our last night at the ring was told u have to go eat there. Wasn’t disappointed. Food and beer was amazing and the the atmosphere was great felt like I was in a proper German restaurant and full on a Wednesday night. Would like to go back and have a tour of the place one day

My wife and I were looking forward to a nice dinner, but unfortunately, we were thoroughly disappointed. We ordered the organic "giant bratwurst" with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut twice, for €26 a plate. The mashed potatoes on both plates were a single lump of a thick, mushy mass, and the bratwurst was so dry and tough that a piece fell to the floor when we cut it – rubbery and devoid of juice. It's a shame when such a good product is treated so carelessly. The ambiance was pleasant, and the young waiter was friendly and understanding; we explained our experience to him on the spot. We had actually planned to celebrate our daughter's birthday here with a large group and rent the holiday home that goes with it... but that's no longer an option!

This company is run with passion. You can see and feel it everywhere and in every single employee.

I've been eating here very often for years. When you frequent a restaurant, there are always days when the food is better and days when it's not. I think that's normal and the same for all restaurants. But today, nothing tasted good. The soup was bad, the main course I sent back wasn't good either, and the replacement dish wasn't good either. The cooking was technically poor, and some of the products were of poor quality. Three stars for the always very nice, friendly, and quick staff.

It's always a pleasure to be here! We've tried everything on the menu, sampled various beers, tried the seasonal specials, and we always feel very welcome. The reception is always so warm and friendly. But today we want to give special praise to Marco, because he brings such good cheer and does his job with passion! We drove 100km to the restaurant today and it was absolutely worth it. Making a reservation online was quick and easy. There was plenty of parking. The food was excellent and the price was right. Hello dear VULKAN team, I always enjoy visiting the brewery or the beer garden. The service, atmosphere, and food are fantastic! I just have one suggestion regarding the menu. In my opinion, you're missing some vegetarian dishes with pasta, potatoes, and dumplings. For example, dumpling dishes from Austrian or South Tyrolean cuisine would be great, as would pasta dishes from Italy. As for the meat dishes, I'm missing the meatloaf (it used to be on your menu), the "Krüstchen" (a type of open-faced sandwich) (known in the Sauerland region), and simply half a chicken with fries or potato salad. And for schnitzel fans: a real Viennese veal schnitzel with warm potato salad. This might be especially important now that it's getting colder.

Brauschnitzel completely convinced me to leave a tip. Mira is the best. Thanks to the team.

Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be years ago. The value for money just isn't there anymore; food prices have increased, certain items have been removed, and portions have been reduced by at least 20%. The beer is good, but only good; thankfully, there are plenty of good alternatives elsewhere. Make up your own mind. All the best.
