A lovely, quaint pub with delicious home-style cooking at fair prices. After our first evening there, we immediately made a reservation for our second. The service was great, the atmosphere charmingly rustic, and the food superb. Greetings from Braunschweig

I was here on a Saturday for a class reunion. Nice, cozy pub. The service was top-notch. They were constantly on the go, serving us. And they were incredibly friendly, always with a smile on their face. The menu was good, traditional fare, and the food was fantastic! The prices were unbeatable. Keep up the good work! We'll be back.

A quick evening visit to Weimar and a spontaneous stop here. Very nice ambiance, good, classic dishes, and reasonable value for money. I was served within a few minutes, and the food was very tasty. All in all, a definite recommendation.

We spontaneously decided to go out for a birthday dinner today. We arrived at 5:30 p.m., not knowing that the restaurant opened at 6:00 p.m. The door was open, and we asked if we could go in. They said no, so we waited outside. Suddenly, three men entered the restaurant. One hugged the waitress, and we followed. Two other guests and we were asked to leave, and the three men sat down at their regular table. For certain people, opening hours are different than they were 35 years ago. We thank you for your hospitality.

The food is truly good to very good, as the reviews say. Unfortunately, this is somewhat undermined by the poor service. There's no "hello," and you'll have to get used to being ignored repeatedly if you don't want to leave right away.

I've been here many times, but each time, something on the menu was missing. In winter, the mulled wine was missing. The hot raspberry ice cream didn't have any raspberries. The Aperol Spritz was all gone. And yesterday I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio. When I was served, I was informed that it was the last glass. I really like the atmosphere, but you should always be prepared for something to be missing. The incidents described occurred in the last nine months.

We didn't really feel welcome. The landlady was curt; friendly could have been better. Two stars for the waitress, who always had a smile. The food was mediocre; the vegetarian stir-fry was substandard. Old potatoes and a few carrot slices. Yes, there are vegetarians who want to eat something sensible. The third star is for the really good mashed potatoes. Prices are a bit too high for the modest menu. Not worth a second visit.

If you want to stop at a rustic inn in the middle of Weimar, this is the right place for you. If you can look forward to very moderate prices for food and drinks, this is the right place for you. If you love a schnitzel like Nuts from the pan, or Türinger dumplings, or like right now - fresh asparagus, this is the right place for you. If you're a tourist and like to go where the locals go, this is the right place for you! So exactly what I appreciate when eating out - everything with/in good butter 😉. Only the exclusive cash payment - that really doesn't have to be the case these days.

Quaint little pub with great draft beer and good home-style food. Service was friendly and attentive. The lady behind the counter was a bit stressed and very uncollegial, stupid if guests noticed this.

The beef roulade was delicious, but the pork goulash was unfortunately blandly seasoned. Only cash is accepted for payment. If possible, you should reserve a table in advance, the place is also popular with locals.

Ich habe wirklich noch nie ein so unhöfliches Personal erlebt. Sowohl im Miteinander der zwei Kellnerinnen, als auch im Umgang mit vorsichtigen Anmerkungen der Kunden wird mehr als unhöflich umgegangen. Zudem war unsere Essensportion sehr klein und wir haben ewig auf das essen und trinken bestellt, wobei uns dann gesagt wurde das es drei Essen der Speisekarte nicht gibt und ein Wunsch auf Änderung der Beilagen war frech angemerkt unmöglich. Ich werde definitiv nicht wiederkommen

OK, we drive by and when we get there 20 minutes later, we find at least four tables that are not occupied 😉 What luck for us and a rogue who thinks evil 😇 We quickly ordered two wheat and mushroom cream rösti and a schnitzel. When the food comes, it is so mediocre. Hardly any cream on the (canned) mushrooms but a lot of salt on the schnitzel! How did they manage to do that? I would have liked some of the seasoning to be on the vegetables 😉 The atmosphere in the restaurant is great! Really rustic and beautifully nested taproom. That was fun. So we tested the Luise and are now giving other restaurants the opportunity to prepare great food. Bye

Went there for dinner on the recommendation of the hotel. Very quaint restaurant. Unfortunately, the food in this case, Rostbrätel with fried potatoes, was not as expected. The fried potatoes were not fried but were warmed up sliced ​​boiled potatoes. Had to go back to the kitchen to get fried. The waitress was more annoyed than understanding. After a while it came back improved, unfortunately the meat was no longer hot. The rest was fine. At these prices today I expect quality or at least insight if it's not okay. Unfortunately I didn't get that impression here. I won't visit the restaurant again because there are better ones in Weimar, for example opposite the Goethe Museum.

The restaurant was recommended to us. Nobody can blame the fact that you're practically sitting at the intersection when it comes to outdoor dining, but the quality of the food can. My order: Sauerbraten with Thuringian dumplings and red cabbage. The condition on the plate was as follows: undefinable red cabbage drowned in about 250ml of watery sauce, the waitress had difficulty balancing the plate to the table without spilling the sauce. The meat (2 slices) was well done but tasted like pure vinegar. No taste of laurel or juniper at all...the whole thing is very excessive for just under €22! Conclusion: Price adjustments are being implemented quickly - but the quality is going down... the food my companion was eating was similarly poor. Not recommended!

Definitely worth visiting when visiting Weimar - always with a reservation, because the restaurant is more than just popular.

Place with wooden furnishings and a nice counter behind which the glass glasses are arranged. The atmosphere is warm, the service quick and friendly. The menu offers a wide and varied choice with a section dedicated to vegetarians and also to those who just want a small snack.

We had ordered by cell phone at really short notice for 6 people, about 2.5 hours before opening time, from the motorway near Jena, coming from Leipzig. Although my family name doesn't have 48 digits like some villages in Scotland, there were small problems with making my table reservation. But this was more than made up for by the friendliness, helpfulness and a healthy, positive calm, but tolerable answer to the question of whether you can also pay by card Only cash is no longer appropriate!! This should be said at the beginning, otherwise the guest who only has a small number of pieces of silver in his pocket will quickly become a dish washer. But when a waitress who came from the east, a long way behind Eisenhüttenstadt, eight years ago described us as her favorite table, the opposite also applies to the reporter.

Quaint pub with very tasty food and absolutely fair prices. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. You have to reserve a table on the weekend, the restaurant/pub is very busy with many regular guests.

The staff is perfect! Food is made with love and as locals we still feel comfortable in this pub after all these years.

Every time you visit Weimar you stop here. The service has gotten better again 😉 Food is sometimes like that 😉 today it was within the "tolerable" range...but it was also better. Since I always eat the same thing, the comparison makes sense here. What's not possible (I was hungry today, so it was fine) is when the waitress clears away the starter and you hear the bell on the way to the kitchen and are served the main course straight away on the way back... the kitchen decides when continues? Sorry, a no-go... I've had "cool" main courses here several times, it's because the kitchen simply produces everything despite the note (2nd course)... then it's just on the kitchen pass and it gets cold 🤷🤔 Here it should There is an urgent need for communication between the service and the kitchen...the guest decides when to continue based on his "eating speed" AND NOT the kitchen! Better organize the kitchen area please!

A very nice pub with dining options that are rarely found today. We wanted to have a nightcap on the third evening. The food is ok, although not a taste highlight that I wouldn't expect in a pub. On Thursday evening, around 6:50 p.m., we weren't even given the opportunity to have a beer standing up, even though not all of the reserved seats at the bar and a few tables were occupied because we had enough to do. Obviously, as is often the case, there is a lack of sufficient qualified personnel. Reserve in advance.

Wir hatten gestern einen fantastischen Abend mit sieben Personen in der Luise!!! Das Essen war fantastisch, das Ambiente urgemütlich, der Chef witzig und sehr zuvorkommend! Nur die weibliche Bedienung könnte noch etwas an sich arbeiten.

Tolle rusikale Kneipe mit guter deftiger Küche und 7 Fassbiersorten. Reservierung ist nötig.

Urige Kneipe mit gut bürgerlicher und Thüringer Küche zu einigermaßen normalen Preisen. Tolles Team. War mehrfach bei meinem Aufenthalt in Weimar dort und habe mich immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung.

Innen sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal war durchgehend freundlich und unkompliziert. Leckere Gerichte, die augenscheinlich nicht nur mir geschmeckt hatten. Von allen Tischen kam Lob, und das ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Bei einem weiteren Urlaub in Weimar gerne wieder!!

Wir wollten leckeres „Steak au four“ zusammen mit einem gut gezapften Bier. In der Luise bekommt man beides. Und das Ganze mit Nachbarschaftsanbindung und allem, was eine Kneipe um die Ecke mitbringt. Wundervoll.

Traditionelle sehr leckere Küche. Urige Einrichtung. Service war sehr gut. Und beim Bier wird auch jeder fündig. 7 am Hahn.

Gute bodenständige Thüringer Hausmannskost. Einzig die wiederholten Fragen der Bedienung, ob noch alles passe, obwohl die Gläser noch halbvoll waren, haben den guten Eindruck etwas getrübt.

Auf Empfehlung von meinem Hotel bin ich in der Luise gelandet. Tolles Ambiente und freundliche Bedienung. Ich habe die Roulade mit Klößen bestellt. Der Ober-Knaller. Typisch Thüringer Küche. Ich musste mir sogar noch einen Löffel vom Kellner geben lassen, damit ich die Soße richtig auslöffeln kann. Der Knaller! Danke dafür.

Schöne kleine Kneipe nahe Zentrum von Weimar...leckeres Essen und freundliche und schnelle Bedienung...hier kann man auch Abends schön draussen sitzen und sein Bier oder Wein trinken...ist sehr zu empfehlen...vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit...
