Gabi s Stüberl in München

On our way to a party, we only wanted to grab a quick bite and a drink, but we ended up staying longer... Why? I still remember those quaint pubs from the 80s. Authentic. Honest. No frills. Gabi and the regulars were amazing – we struck up a conversation right away and immediately felt at home. If I had to describe Gabi's Stüberl in one sentence, it would be: A unique cultural gem in Munich!

Small, cozy pub. A real hidden gem. Plus, a friendly landlady and good food.

At Gabi's, it's simply like being at home. The pub is very nice and easily accessible, a two-minute walk from Leonrodplatz. Gabi's Stüberl isn't your "ordinary," "normal" pub. Gabi's Stüberl is a living room! Everyone is welcome; you sit together, sometimes at a table with others, in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The draft beer (Augustiner) is well-tapped and fresh. The food on offer varies and is always homemade and freshly cooked (Bavarian home cooking). Gabi is absolutely warm-hearted and a landlady with heart and soul. I wouldn't even want to post this post, so I'd keep it as an "insider tip" :-D On the other hand, I really have to recommend (from the bottom of my heart) to anyone who's in the area to stop by for a drink or a meal. This is where Munich is still real.

Such a rude person... No, a truly lovely place in Munich with friendly customers and cheerful, friendly service... as long as you don't order a non-alcoholic beer. We highly recommend this pub. The two children and their parents enjoyed it.

Rip-off, tries to charge more than you had... Bills you more than you had...

We had a delightful dinner at Gaby's recently. Her somewhat coarse Munich humor (especially with the 12-year-old boys) was heartwarming. The boys even "got to" wash glasses under her supervision. A sort of early "taster apprenticeship."

Always great for a beer after work. Fish and mussels are always great

Very small restaurant with a short menu. Bavarian but specific climate. There were two food options on Saturday evening. Only meat. No fish. The service man was very nice, but he didn't convince us. It was also not possible to pay by card. In the end, we didn't eat anything. But the beer was good.

Gabis Stüberl is for people who want to experience real Munich Boazn culture

We tried to eat there, but at 8:45 p.m. they said it was too late (they close at 10:00 p.m.). Not very friendly and poor service behavior.

Ate authentic Bavarian sausage salad and a nice light Augustiner with it. The landlady is very polite and has a great sense of humor. You can really go there and have a nice time

Eine kleine, nette, bodenständige Kneipe, Sehr nette Wirtsleute. Viele Stammgäste, aber auch als Fremder oder Neuling wird man dort sehr nett aufgenommen, Gespräche inklusive. Es stehen auch kleine Speise auf dem Karte, welche mir sehr gut schmeckten. Schaue dort gern - leider zu selten - rein..

Waren wegen einer Messe in München und waren zwei Abende bei Gabi. Gabi ist eine echte Münchenerin, nicht auf den Mund gefallen, dafür sehr authentisch! Tolle Gastgeberin! Typisch Bayrisches Essen kocht ihr Mann, einfach aber sehr lecker! Alles in allem eine sehr zu empfehlende Adresse! Rustikal, simpel, aber 100% ehrlich! Grüße aus Düsseldorf!

Top. Eine richtig gemütliche Kneipe. Augustiner Hell, Schnitzel mit warmem Kartoffelsalat und die Gabi ist ne sehr nette. Was will man mehr. Durch Zufall gesehen und glücklich und satt gegangen.

Top Kneipe. Man findet nicht mehr viele dieser "Wohnzimmer" in München. Bayrische Küche und gutes Bier, Gabi is ne klasse Wirtin und Hannes rockt die Küche!

Einfache aber urige Kneipe die Von der Gabi und Hannes betrieben wird. Das angebotene Essen ist günstig und sehr gut. Es ist eben noch eine Kneipe im alten Stil wo der Stammtisch noch gepflegt wird. Hier geht einfach alles locker und gemütlich zu.

Traditionelle Kneipe / Boazn mit Eigentümer in denen noch Herzblut steckt. Sehr zu empfehlen!
