Delicious vegan options and very friendly staff 💕

It was my first visit here. The fries were ok to good. The ambience is nice. Until the waiter asked me in a very unfriendly tone if he could take the tray from me, it was fine, but the end was just kind of uncomfortable.

Let's start with the positive: The store is decorated quite smartly and looks clean. The ordering process at the terminal is quick and my “poutine” was also ready quickly. What did I get for 9.10 euros: a manageable portion of very tasty fries, with a dollop of chili sin carne, some sour cream and a few jalapeno slices. This is edible, almost delicious. But even in times of inflation it is simply absurdly overpriced. So I decided not to have a drink with it. According to my subjective feeling, the portions were also reduced in the course of the price increase. I wasn't really full. But maybe I just got hungrier. One can only hope that the company and the franchisees continue to have enough people willing and able to pay these prices. For me it was the last "poutine".

First of all: The food was very tasty and the employees were courteous. It was a shame that I received the wrong order twice in a row and then didn't have time to return it again.

Good! There are terminals at the entrance where you can order your food and pay directly with your bank card. The food came quickly, was hot and tasted very good. I had Montreal style poutine with sweet potato fries and extra jalapeños, along with avocado chicken bombs and vegan bacononnaise. It was Friday, around 7:30 p.m....

We went into the restaurant and a friend ordered at the terminal. When he was ready I wanted to order and chose what I wanted. An employee came and stuck a note with "Sorry defective" on the terminal device right in front of me. I looked at him and told him that it worked, since my friend had just ordered there too. He looked at us and then walked away without a word. So I went to the checkout to order there, where I was told that no more orders would be accepted. However, my friend's order was placed and there were no problems with it. My order was not accepted and neither was the next customer's. As we left the store, another order was taken at the checkout. Impudence!!! We were never given a reason and the terminals also worked. Will never eat here again

One star is still too many. Cheeky. Until shortly (a few minutes) before the end of the day, people pretend to eat on site. Suddenly the closing time is announced. Highly unprofessional. In the age of digital ordering, the system should be able to take relevant information into account in a timely manner. Untrained and arrogant staff for the situation. It doesn't work at all.

I was in transit and still had over 40 minutes to get to my train. I ordered and paid with an EC card. Wanted it to take away. After waiting 10 minutes, I asked how long it would take. I got an answer in 20 minutes. I didn't want to miss my train so I canceled the order. I didn't get the amount paid out. I should contact the responsible office by email. They apologized and commented on the case and asked for my bank details. Of course they would refund me the amount. It's been 3 weeks now and I still haven't received anything back.

Do not accept coupons, vouchers etc. Device asks for tip when paying (absolute nonsense) Quality is okay though. It used to be better. Not worth it today for the price (especially the dips at the prices)

Waited 15 minutes to order something. Then got the statement have you already ordered? And then so yeah, it takes at least another 30 minutes. Never experienced anything like this at Frittenwerk. Just disappointed.

Beautiful little nook at Düsseldorf hbf. The fries are really nice. They’re thick potato fries but have a perfect crunch and taste to them. Love the Montreal style fries!

The price-performance ratio is underground. For a portion of fries that is so small that it doesn't even begin to fill you up, €6.80 including two mayo is a joke!

The best poutine fries in Europe!

My second time at Frittenwerk and this experience saved the chain for me since my first time wasn't good. This time, however, it was very good. We sat quite close to the entrance and were begged by a typical train station beggar; he didn't dare go any further into the shop. Therefore, be careful with luggage near the entrance.

Arrived late morning. Plenty of seating and outlets available. Touchscreen ordering kiosks in English and German, very simple menu with lots of options. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian fare. Orders are named so I wasn't confused waiting for a number call. Food came quick. Was hot and delicious. Ordered the "Istanbul Street Fries" fresh and just a tiny bit spicy. Would get again. Frittenwerk has a great concept and very tasty food. Unfortunately, the reusable concept doesn't work at all. Countless times I have been told, "There are no boxes at the moment because the return process is so bad that it doesn't work." When I return everything, everything always works. This should really improve in the future, otherwise I won't visit this Frittenwerk store again.

Received almost raw fries which I returned and then received almost raw fries as a replacement And by the way, Currywurst with mayonnaise and fried onions doesn't work for me at all The price is ridiculous and the staff couldn't even speak German. They just did whatever and they really didn't care that they almost sold me raw fries. Never let this place down

I love Frittenwerk at Düsseldorf main station. I can highly recommend the garlic fries! The shop is comfortably furnished with lots of greenery.

Super slow, forever waiting. During that time I went to Rewe and bought everything, went home, ate and was back at the train station. I get my train. This takes significantly longer with Frittenwerk.

1. The list of allergens on the ordering machines is displayed in such a small size that not a single allergen can be identified without any doubt. 2. If you click on gluten-free on the menu on the website, 90% of the dishes displayed are fried together with dishes containing gluten in the same oil. Then you can just leave it alone!! The company has apparently never heard of the requirements for gluten-free food for people with celiac disease...

There are only 3 falafel in the vegan bowl!!! Really a shame for the price, they are actually delicious.

The food was OK. Unfortunately, I've lost my appetite. A man came in, he was most likely homeless and had probably been there before. He asked for money. A "man" (customer) pushed him to the floor. An employee (fat guy, with glasses, I think he was the manager or owner) intervened and sent the homeless man out - he did this very disrespectfully, as if he would no longer talk to a person. He actually yelled at him. The man (customer) who pushed the homeless man to the ground got fries for free!!!! and the employee apologized several times because the homeless man asked for money. Yes. I also find it very unpleasant that people constantly ask me for money. And yes. Everyone is somewhat responsible for themselves. YET no one, no matter whether poor, rich, homeless, unemployed, alcoholic, etc. deserves something like that. No one deserves to be hurt physically and mentally. And yes. There are people who may be to blame for it themselves, or who have decided to become unemployed themselves. (DEFINITELY NOT ALL - and we will NEVER know exactly what other people are going through. Most people are already suffering enough, you don't need to add more to it.) It's unpleasant when people constantly beg. Of course you would rather just eat in a relaxed manner. Without anyone asking for money. (But also ask a little more about how this came about. Not every homeless person is too lazy to go to work. And believe me, your job is more relaxed than having to live on the streets and ask for money.) It was at a main train station, where In my opinion it is predictable that homeless people ask for money. If it is undesirable then go eat somewhere else or open your restaurant somewhere else. I'm really so sad. I couldn't continue eating the food after that. I've lost my appetite. I never want to eat there again, and I hope that the people affected reflect on the situation and their own behavior again and show a little more gratitude that they are doing better than the man who had to ask for money. It is not the type of food I usually go for but it turned out to be solid fast food. It was a bit too filling for lunch for me so I was unable to finish it. However, it wasn’t because it’s bad at all, I enjoyed it. It’s very cutesy of them to name the orders instead of numbering them too. I tried the currywurst and it had a nice snap and worked really well with all the sauces. Very hearty and quick. Much better than a sad fast food burger in my opinion. The people beside me got the garlic fries and the smell made me regret my entire order but we move forward. That should be my next go.

Super tasty and great offer for vegans! However, not exactly cheap. It's nice because you can escape the hustle and bustle of the main station for a bit in this shop.

I have to listen to the name Mausi, Mopsi or something similar, it takes some getting used to. But the fries that Mausi gets to pick up are great! Even the ketchup! The service staff are also great, in a good mood with a relaxed saying on their lips. After me, Medusa and the North Pole and an oriental landscape collect their food. Actually 5 stars, but Mausi got the 5th from heaven.

Since I was chronically under-fried yesterday, we went to the Frittenwerk at the main train station again. The house fries are very tasty, especially in combination with the baconnaise sauce. For dessert there were churros, which I can highly recommend, with dark and white chocolate sauce. The staff was friendly and very accommodating; the waiting time was short - even though the chip factory was well attended; I really like the atmosphere (as in the other branches) - we will definitely come back more often! 🤤

Love the fries...unfortunately I was disappointed for the first time today. Service was really great, quick and friendly. I ordered the Schwarama Poutine 2go and then saw on the train that the chicken was still very pink and not really cooked through. Some of the fries tasted like rancid fat. I've never had it at Frittenwerk, but it's still a shame.
