It was an interesting experience. Meat made from plants and 3D printers was different. Germany is a beautiful place for a gastronomic culinary experience. We went to dinner with friends. Make a reservation for the evening.

Food was very tasty, but the portions were quite small. The price is off, but it's not really anything special. The vegan ramen contained a poached egg without asking. The service was quite inattentive. You were repeatedly asked and asked to order the more expensive food or drink. The serving sizes of wine and schnapps were increased and also billed without asking. Overall, you felt more compelled to buy more and even if you didn't want to, you would simply be charged more. We were offered to sit outside or inside, we chose outside because they said shade would always be provided. After 20 minutes the sun hit the table directly. Disappointing.

Went there with children to eat, a portion of nuggets didn't fill the children up, but the Bolognese was very filling and tasty. But they liked the peach iced tea best ☺️ I was also very satisfied, the price/performance is right for my taste. We had lunch in the outdoor area of ​​Fränk'ness and were completely amazed at the prices. We had expected significantly more, but that's probably the case. remember that we come from Munich. The service was great. Very friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with a nagging child and our friendly waitress really tried to find the right food for the little one. In the end we all go home happy and satisfied ;)

We wanted to satisfy our small hunger at lunchtime and came across the restaurant by chance. Protected by potted plants, you can follow the hustle and bustle on the street and relax at the same time. The burger of the day (duck breast) was a poem and harmonized perfectly with the salad, where we were particularly impressed by the pickled radishes! The Scheurebe rounded off the lunch really well and thrilled us. The service was very courteous and helpful, making the stay a very good experience. Highly recommended! You should know in advance that there is a day menu and an evening menu, which change between 4 and 5 p.m. - you cannot order food during this time. The dishes are fresh, tasty and the portions are fine! Great praise for the vegan versions, which is unfortunately still rare in Franconia The service is friendly and happy to give you advice! You can always find a place for two people, but you should definitely make a reservation for groups. Card payment is possible. The restaurant is barrier-free.

We recently visited Fränkness in the evening. The welcome was friendly and accommodating. The aperitif was very tasty and is recommended The portions of the chosen 5-course menu are enormous - even as a “good eater” I reached my limits and felt clearly overfull at the end. The portions were clearly too large for a menu. The salad with avocado and mozzarella at the beginning tasted good. The onion soup was very over-seasoned and, in our opinion, not really onion soup - there were far too many flavors in it. The sautéed mushrooms with spaetzle were okay. The celery dish too. The potato didn't meet my taste expectations. She was too sweet and unidentifiable in parts. Unfortunately, the chocolate cake was a bit burnt for dessert, but the taste was still okay. The yogurt sorbet was delicious. Overall, the menu fell well short of expectations, which is a shame. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right despite the large portions. To be clear, none of the courses were bad. Nothing was really convincingly good.

We were there for lunch and felt very comfortable (not always a given with a baby). The lady in service (responsible for ~20(?) tables alone, which she did brilliantly) took great care of us and even exchanged very casual small talk. She is super warm and attentive - big compliments to the short-haired, blonde service lady. Unfortunately the food was very heavily salted, which deducted points.

Unfortunately had the 4 course menu. Ceviche with shrimp and asparagus, dried tomato with burrata, veal cheeks Mashed potatoes and cheese platter at the end. Since I don't like shrimp, the first course was taken without shrimp (the price is the same as with). When changing dishes you have to take everything individually, no more than the menu. Veal cheeks were also eaten better and the cheese platter was 0815. Afterwards I went out for something to eat, so I don't need it again. Price completely excessive.

We had already reserved our table online early for lunch. We were greeted very friendly and the service as a whole was extremely attentive and considerate. I just want to say WOW about the food and thank you for allowing us to experience and dine. If we are in Nuremberg again we will definitely come back.

Missed Franconian food in "Fränk'ness"....

We had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Fränk'ness today and it was a true delight for the senses. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and immediately felt at home. The ambience of the restaurant is modern. When it comes to the food, we can only rave! Our selection of starters, including the char sashimi and the buffalo mozzarella with avocado cream, were delicious and perfectly prepared. The main courses, the Fränk'ness Burger and the root vegetable curry with pulled chicken leg and Fränk'ness Crumble, were a true taste experience! Each dish was finely tuned and incredibly tasty. Particularly noteworthy was the delicious dessert, which rounded off the lunch perfectly. The cinnamon roll with a salty pecan topping and butter streusel was a real highlight and a real treat for the taste buds! As far as service is concerned, we would particularly like to highlight Tania. Their service was first class - attentive, friendly and professional. She made our visit an unforgettable experience! Overall, our lunch at Fränk'ness was an absolute highlight and we can't wait to come back. An unreserved recommendation for all foodies out there! The Fränk'ness does what it promises - lunch in Nuremberg turns into a little short vacation! In our opinion, a visit is definitely worth it.

Delicious food, great service, terribly bad humor!

The preparation and quality of the food were in no way appropriate for the price. I had a citizen with a side dish for just under €30, which in my opinion was overpriced because, in addition to being too salty, it consisted of a normal brioche bun and no special beef (price and quality ratio not balanced). The meat patty was ordered medium and I got “Welldone” (preparation). The starter that was called "buffalo mozzarella" on the menu for €17.68 was actually a mountain of avocada with three mini mozzarella. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is simply not right here. Overall, the service was OK, but not appropriately attentive for such a price range. Complaints were simply “smiled away”

Certain culinary sophistication such as Franconian Schäuferle meat in burgers is now missing. Instead, Fränkness presents itself with a menu that raises many questions rather than wonder. I ended up with the Safe Choice Steak (it's not on the menu and the staff didn't point it out to me. My luck was that a guest at the next table had it and in desperation I asked him the name of his meal), although I I was looking forward to some inspiration. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio doesn't fit.

Overpriced for the food on offer and the quality of preparation and portion size. 180g steak for just under €50 that was fried bone dry instead of medium. It was remade without any discussions but it's annoying when you're eating with a group

Unfortunately our food was lukewarm and two people's beef was overcooked. However, it was taken back and remade without any problems. The service was great and also very helpful.

There were four of us celebrating a birthday and took all 7 courses (+bread with spread first). 1. First of all, you have to say that the whole menu was very rich and filled you up. 2. secondly, everything was too salty, which shouldn't happen in a star kitchen (we actually like to eat spicy food, but that was too much). 3. Unfortunately, one course was forgotten and only served after the cheese. 4. It should also be noted that you cannot call a dish made with blue cheese "vegetarian" because this type of cheese still uses rennet from calves' stomachs. 5. You could have saved yourself the bread course, or the bread for the first course. Avocado and mozzarella are better eaten with bread than on their own. 6. Unfortunately, the menu produced severe stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhea and even vomiting in 3 out of 4 people that night. The shrimps consumed by 3 people can therefore be assumed to have been contaminated. 7. About 120 euros for over-salted food that then causes complaints is not possible. We definitely won't be coming back and won't recommend the restaurant to anyone. Kind regards

Our lunch was a big disappointment. When I asked to be offered something because I can't eat anything fried in hot fat or oil, I was offered broth with noodles. I then decided on lamb's lettuce with feta because nothing else was possible. Costs 21 euros, totally overpriced. My husband's burger wasn't good and at 19 euros it was way too expensive. Our conclusion, not recommended.

Three out of four people experienced severe abdominal pain, nausea + vomiting and diarrhea immediately after the visit. After contacting the restaurant via email, only empty platitudes and threadbare explanations were returned. Really weak for a restaurant in this price range. The restaurant is not recommended and it was our first and last time there.

Of course it's more expensive than some other restaurants, but it's an experience and definitely recommended. We were there on Valentine's Day and had a 5-course meal each. This was very convincing in terms of taste and appearance. And most importantly, we were very saturated with it :) The drinks are also sometimes a little more unusual, but we also really liked them.

Friendly reception, competent and fast service specialists who work well together as a team. We had the 5 course menu, the menu sequences and ad ons were very well coordinated. You can tell that a lot of preparation is required and first-class ingredients are used. One star deducted for the ambience I was missing a bit of background music - the tables for two are very close to each other the menu requires a course would love to come back for a special occasion.

We ate with 5 people at Fränkness Nürnberg. The food was lukewarm, the menu was very disappointing except for the char pieces!! It was nowhere near the price.

Today 06.02.24 we came with my friend just to enjoy the desert with coffee. The waiter was a bit nervous and did not let us sit at the place we wanted (which is okay, maybe place had some reservation over there). But he was in general very intrusive, we could not just enjoy our conversation. At the end our bill was about 25 euros we gave 30 and this waiter looked at us and said - "Ah, okay, so all the rest is the tip?". We have been frozen from this question. I mean, of course we would leave a tip, put to press your costumers to do so is so bad. We felt extremely uncomfortable and pushed. And also, why we have to leave almost 5 euros tip? For what? No one treated us extraordinary. I do not know how you hire a people but it's just very bad service. This waiter was - skinny guy with black curly hair. Hope he is happy with his bill. Our last time in this place.

It was supposed to be a special birthday dinner before going to the theater. Unfortunately it went completely wrong. We had to wait over an hour for the main course because the entire staff had a team meeting (that was clearly audible). Nobody took care of us during that time. When the food finally came, the vegetables were cold and almost raw. The staff reacted to our moderate criticism with incomprehension. Conclusion: Rarely have we experienced such a poor price-performance ratio in Franconia's upscale restaurants.

A great evening with slight drawbacks. The ambience is really chic and harmonious, the open kitchen also contributes to this, you really can't improve much. Modern and yet comfortable. The service staff tried their best, but unfortunately they were a bit overwhelmed at times. The beef tartare was the first choice in terms of taste, although they could have been a little more creative with the presentation on the plate, it looked a bit bland, as we all know, the eye is a bit tricky. The price/performance ratio is such a thing, you have to want to treat yourself to it, the prices are also online. There were four of us and it was a very nice, albeit very expensive, evening. We enjoyed it, but I honestly don't know if I'll make a reservation there a second time. Nevertheless, big praise to the entire team.

Was eating there for the first time with my husband. Expectations were very high as the restaurant was founded by a TV chef. The menus that are offered are exceptional and have a different taste than in conventional restaurants, but I was still a little disappointed because they didn't cook properly, they just warmed them up. Still very tasty, no question.

Very attentive service Excellent cuisine, in an upscale, sophisticated class. However, not for everyone. If you want down-to-earth home cooking, you'll have a hard time finding it. Einen Stern ziehe ich dennoch ab, da das Preisgefüge doch sehr selbstbewusst hoch ist. Beim Service sollte man sich für eine Ansprache entscheiden, entweder "Du" oder "Sie".

Einen sehr netten Abend dort genossen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das 5 Gang Menü war stets sehr lecker und ausreichend große Portionen . Preis Leistung hat gestimmt.

Es war so toll, die Gerichte ein Gedicht und eine tolle Location. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und die Weine zum Essen gut abgestimmt. Einziger Nachteil war, dass wir sehr eng mit anderen Gästen zusammen saßen, das hat die Gemütlichkeit oder Ruhe etwas gestört. Im Vergleich zum Posthotel ein Stern weniger. Aber ansonsten top 🙂 Wir kommen wieder !

Es hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch seitens der Mitarbeiter wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient. Für das Verhältnis Preis zu Leistung muss sich jeder sein eigenes Bild machen. Für mich persönlich etwas enttäuschend. Restaurant war gut besucht.

Essen war super super lecker! Leider muss ich beim Service ein paar Abstriche machen. Obwohl das Lokal nicht voll ausgebucht war, wurden wir vor allem vor dem Zahlen sehr lange ignoriert. Dennoch alles im grünen Bereich. Ich komme wieder!

Service: The menu was not 100% clear to us and after we asked the waiter, we didn’t know any better because he only explained to us the sizes of the dishes. So we asked to get one of the smaller sized dishes as a starter and a bigger dish and a steak as a main dish. Apparently that was not what he meant when he didn’t explain the size of the dishes (apparently not very functional) and only brought us the steak and the bigger dish. After a while we asked, where is the smaller dish we wanted as a starter and he told us: „You didn’t communicate it right and it’s you‘re fault we didn’t get the order you wanted.“ We tried to be really nice and said that we apparently discomunicated but he pointed out several times that it was not his fault. He also undermined it until we left in the end which was kinda upsetting and really made us uncomfortable. Besides, he didn’t offer us any water although we ordered a bottle of wine. When we asked to get some, he again pointed out, that we should have asked for it. I’m general, the service was really really making us feel bad and like we don’t belong to this place. Food: We really enjoyed the food which tasted amazing and the steak was so tender. The sauces added great tastes to it and also the red beet that we ordered was amazing with them. The lamb was a bit dry but still tasting nice and the Weißburgunder was a great wine to the dish. Atmosphere: As the waiter was giving us such a bad vibe, we didn’t feel so well there. Besides, the open kitchen as an island in the middle of the place was interesting to see and the interior very pretty. As the communication and the vibe that the waiter was giving us was so bad, we can only give the restaurant 3 stars. Very unfortunate cause the food we enjoyed a lot.

Das Essen schmeckte uns, für die Preise hätten wir jedoch mehr erwartet! Alles nicht richtig Rund und eher auf dem Niveau eines durchschnittlichen Wirtshauses, dafür dann aber wie gesagt zu teuer! Service war auf Zack. Bei der Reservierung wurde gefragt ob es einen besonderen Anlass gibt, den gab es bei uns. Als ich den Kellner im Restaurant darauf ansprach dass wir aufgrund eines Besonderen Anlasses hier sind, fragte er nur, was er jetzt mit dieser Info anstellen solle. Es war weder der Tisch besonders gedeckt, noch bekamen wir Aperitif oder sonstiges aufs Haus. Dann fragt doch bitte auch nicht bei der Reservierung nach, man erhofft sich dann dass es in irgendeiner Weise beachtet wird, was es nicht wurde. Das führt zu Enttäuschung.. Wir würden nicht noch einmal kommen. Preis Leistung stimmt nicht überein!

Das Positive: Die Burger haben uns allen weitestgehend gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist super, man fühlt sich wohl. Die Reservierung per Mail hat wunderbar geklappt. Aber leider gab es auch ein paar weniger gute Eindrücke: Wir haben uns mitunter dazu entschieden unsere Familienfeier im Fränk‘ness zu verbringen, weil ich online gelesen habe, dass auch für Kinder einige Leckereien geboten werden: „FÜR DEN KLEINEN UND GROSSEN HUNGER Bei uns kommt keiner zu kurz Auch unsere kleinen Gäste dürfen nicht zu kurz kommen: Unsere Kindermenüs mit den Namen “Ich weiß nicht” , “Hab keinen Hunger”, “Ist mir egal” oder “Ich will das nicht” erleichtern Eltern die schwere Entscheidung, wenn die kleinen Racker wieder einmal selbst nicht wissen, was sie möchten. Endlich werden auch deren süßen Nörgeleien, wenn es ums Thema Essen geht, beim Namen genannt.“ „Genörgelt“ wurde dann nämlich tatsächlich, weil es sage und schreibe nur ein Einziges Gericht gab. Welches Kind ist da nicht absolut heiß drauf und schreibt jene Worte als Leibspeise in das Freundebuch des Klassenkameraden: „Baggers!“ Also unsere Kinder nicht! Wäre man nicht vorweg heiß auf leckere Kindergerichte gemacht worden, wäre die Ernüchterung wohl nicht ganz so hart eingeschlagen. Das Zweite sehr ärgerliche Erlebnis an jenem Abend war, dass leider laaange, laaange kein einziger Teller abgeräumt wurde. Irgendwann habe ich sie dann selbst ins Geschirrrückgabefach gebracht, aber vielleicht gehört das ja auch gar nicht zum Service? Denn die Bedienung brachte während ich wegräumte schon den Nachtisch. Der hätte eigentlich gar keinen Platz mehr gehabt zwischen all dem dreckigen Geschirr. Mein Resümee ist leider, dass das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis leider schwer gehinkt hat und ich dann wohl doch zukünftig woanders einkehren werde. Schade.

Lange Wartezeiten auf das Essen

Mediocre food, awful dinner. The waiters were rude and extremely slow. I had to remember them every order I made and when I asked for the bill, I waited 30 minutes. When the waiter finally came with the POS, he did not show the check and shouted out the total sum, not considering that I wanted to pay for it without letting my girlfriend know it, since it was her birthday.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Gehobene Küche. Ambitionierte Kellner... Tolles Restaurant mit (gerechtfertigen) relativ hohen Preisen.

Mega Adventsbrunch ,begleitet durch eine super freundliche immer stets gut aufgelegte Küchencrew und Servicepersonal Macht weiter so,werden bestimmt wieder kommen

Sehr gutes Essen, aufmerksames Personal. Es war eine Gaumenfreude. Einziger Wermutstropfen es etwas kühl und die Lüftung zog einwenig.

Der Service lies sehr zu wünschen übrig. Statt der bei der Reservierung gewählte normale Tisch wurde erst ein Barplatz zugewiesen und auf Nachfrage ein normaler Sitzplatz angeboten. Der Tisch wurde ohne Besteck eingedeckt, dies wurde erst nachdem das Essen gereicht wurde nachgeliefert. Der Service war offensichtlich nicht zum Thema Laktoseintolleranz geschult und war nicht wirklich hilfreich bei der Auswahl des Menus, es wurden keinerlei Optionen vorgeschlagen sondern lediglich diskutiert was eventuell als Auswahl übrig bliebe... Das Essen selbst war recht lecker auch wenn meine Frau aufgrund Ihrer Unverträglichkeit nur eine eingeschränkte Auswahl hatte und kein Menu auswählen konnte.

Das Essen war gut, leider habe ich ein paar mal das falsche Essen bekommen obwohl sich sehr bemüht wurde. Am Ende wurde dann das teurere Menü abgerechnet und ein Dessert wurde zu viel berechnet welches wir aber zahlen mussten!

Haben einen tollen Abend hier verbracht. Sehr hochwertiges Essen, ohne abgehoben rüberzukommen. Die Menüs sind super abwechslungsreich, und man geht definitiv satt aus dem Laden nach 4-5 Gängen. Dazu ein nettes, lockeres Team und eine einfache, aber sehr passende Einrichtung. Kommen gerne wieder!

Dort gibt es einen sehr guten Kaffee.

Richtig gute Erfahrung. Zuerst muss man sagen, dass Essen war super lecker. Sicherlich ist ein Abend nicht wirklich günstig, dafür bekommt man einen gehobene Abend in jeglichen Kategorien geboten. Service, Essen, Ambiente und mit einem Platz am Tresen bekommt dauerhaft Entertainment aus der Küche geboten und sieht wie eingespielt, das Team hier agiert.

Wir haben uns das sieben Gänge-Menü ausgewählt und waren mit unserer Wahl sehr zufrieden. Die einzelnen Gänge waren frisch mit regionalen Produkten zubereitet und sehr lecker. Generell wird das Menü vegetarisch angeboten. Gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis lassen sich nicht vegetarische Komponenten dazu buchen. Der zeitliche Abstand der einzelnen Gänge war sehr gut abgestimmt, sodass die genügend großen Portionen angenehm zu genießen waren. Der Service war aufmerksam, allerdings wurde ein bestelltes Pils in einem normalen Bierglas und nicht in einem Pilsglas serviert, was in einem derartigen Restaurant schon zu erwarten gewesen wäre. Aber alles in allem war es ein gelungener, sehr leckerer und schöner Abend.

Etwas hochpreisig für mein Empfinden Gutes Bier, leckeres Wein Aufmerksames Personal

Essen ist lecker, Portionen mittelmäßig (selbst mit 2 Gängen nicht übermäßig satt), dafür ziemlich hochpreisig. Der Service ist leider nicht so zufriedenstellend. Nett zwar, jedoch mehrere Fehler unterlaufen, zB hat sie sich an meinen Espresso erst nach 30 Minuten erinnert.

Sehr cooles Restaurant in Nürnberg. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und die Qualität der Produkte war hoch. Auch der Service war super!

Qualität sehr hochwertiges Essen und super Service. Das ganze hat aber seinen Preis. Da es super schmeckt, gibt man dass aber gerne aus.

Habe deutlich erwartet. Ist immerhin Alexander Hermann. Essen ok, kein Jubelschrei. Die Karte erinnert eher an Tapas oder Sushi und muss erklärt werden.
