I've been there several times and the food has always been good and there's a great weekly menu. This doesn't seem to exist anymore and unfortunately the food was very bad.

A nice restaurant and friendly service. The food was good, but the price was on the higher end. Unfortunately my cheese spaetzle were too dry. I recommend a little more or higher fat cheese.

Unfortunately, I can't give the food culture that many points. The turkey schnitzel from the grill was good but cold and the herb butter was frozen... you need a lot of time and patience is a virtue. The service itself was very stressed but very nice... I hope the restaurant will get new service staff again soon, I wish you the best of luck.

We discovered the small restaurant by chance and were very impressed. The food tasted great and the staff was very friendly.

Yesterday we from the club had another meeting at the Esskultur restaurant. I ordered a schnitzel in the old Bavarian style, with horseradish and fried potatoes. What can I say, just a dream It was the best schnitzel I've eaten in a long time. Juicy, the pane was nice and crispy, everything was served hot, really a dream. The incorporated layer of horseradish is simply wonderful. The boss was again nice and in a good mood, so you'll be happy to come back. The nice lady from the service also did a 100% great job. Please keep it up 😉👍🏼

We ate here after mass. The food is very tasty and also a lot. Everyone gets fed up here. The waitress is very friendly. The facility is very pretty and clean. I can recommend it to everyone. Thank you very much and keep it up.

Very friendly service, very quiet, perfect location near the Franken Center and the subway. Great opening times. Celebrated my grandma's family birthday there! Food came quickly and was delicious! Large portions. But there are also small ones :) I had the Cordon Bleu

There is a small vegetarian and even a small vegan menu. CLASS! And fun service :)

Super friendly staff, very good food and great value for money.

We went here for an early dinner for the first time today, but definitely not the last. Brewmaster's plate and roast pork were served quickly and tasted excellent. The sauerkraut I ordered as a side dish was the best I've had in years. Small point of criticism: the meat and sauce could have been a little warmer (that can happen). Nice gesture from the friendly service: as compensation, espresso or cappuccino was offered on the house.

Based on a recommendation, we visited the Esskultur restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. The community center is not known for its beautiful ambience, but the operators of Esskultur still show what is possible. Directly after the fire door, a very unique, beautiful ambience awaits guests. The beautiful ambience was accompanied by super friendly staff and a menu with a very nice selection of regional dishes. We decided on the duck and the choice turned out to be a very good one. The portion was appropriately large, the meat, dumplings and sauce were very good. We spotted a carp at the next table, it also looked very good and the lady hadn't left anything behind either. We'll definitely be back!

OK, that would be the right answer here. We were completely satisfied! Simon Bräu from Lauf, always a small brewery from Franconia> Reifkraft near Cadolzburg. Food is Franconian stable and really very tasty. Tip

We were just visiting Nuremberg last Friday and spontaneously decided on this restaurant. We couldn't have made a better choice! The food was outstanding and first class! Tastes perfect and absolutely fresh! The service was great and the dog was also welcome and provided with water. I can really recommend this restaurant without any reservations and would be happy to come back at any time!

Very tasty and very friendly staff!

There were 8 of us, 3 ate baked carp, the other meat dishes such as schnitzel, loin, fried chicken and a vegetarian dish. Everyone was completely satisfied with the food. Service was quick and friendly. We'll be back!!

We were at Esskultur for the second time and were once again thoroughly pampered. The service is great: always friendly, people asked if they wanted to change anything about the food and whether everything was to their satisfaction. The food itself is absolutely top in terms of price-performance ratio. The taste is consistent and even the small portion is still sufficient. The Kaiserschmarrn is very good, we fell in love with it straight away. The rooms are pleasant, clean and not too cramped. All in all, the food culture impressed us and we certainly won't be there the last time. There is still a lot to try. Thank you for your hospitality.

We celebrated our wedding in the Esskultur restaurant. The atmosphere was great and we had a wonderful day. We had the outdoor grill buffet BBQ and the food was an absolute highlight. There was something for everyone, and all of the guests, including us, enjoyed it very much. As a change from the DJ in the restaurant on the ground floor, a quiet place was the bowling alley in the basement, which provided a lot of fun and entertainment. It was a great way to keep guests busy and lighten the mood. I can only warmly recommend the Esskultur restaurant for a wedding, but also for eating out! Many thanks again to Mr. Ullmann and the entire staff.

The whole team is friendly and accommodating, even though it is stressful. The food is plentiful and very good value for money. And it tastes great. The salad is fresh, like at home. Simply amazing and highly recommended!

Beer garden unfortunately closed today, (due to summer festival preparations) terrace unfortunately also full, there were still several tables available inside, upon request from the young man behind the counter a place inside was offered. We sat down in the assigned seat and we waited and waited, no one came, no menu was brought and unfortunately we couldn't order. After more than 10 minutes we left. It's a shame we've been there before and the food is actually good. But being punished as a guest with absolute disregard is not possible and unfortunately I only give 2 stars and that only because I've been there before.

Hier findet man hauptsächlich fränkische Gerichte, bei gutem Wetter sitzt man draußen im Biergarten, ansonsten hat man im Restaurant selbst ein schickes Ambiente, in das man diese fränkische Küche zunächst nicht zuordnen würde. Es wird lokales Bier gereicht, außerdem werden nahezu alle Produkte aus regionalem Anbau geliefert. Der Service war super freundlich, ich werde gerne wieder kommen.

It's a perfect combination of German Franconian food, friendly staff and nice ambient ... I would go there again and highly highly recommend to everyone to try it at least once !

Five of us came here for dinner after a training course. We were really surprised at the selection of dishes. Not the usual menu, but also something unusual. I had a bratwurst salad, very tasty. My colleague’s Schäuferle was also at its finest. The crust was perfect. I also think it's very positive that you can order smaller portions. The service was very friendly and competent. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back. Keep it up!!!

Condition is friendly and accommodating * unfortunately I always have bad luck with the food e.g. with sauerbraten the sauce was completely bland and tasteless * EDIT; Of course you can ask, the sauerbraten thing was a while ago (May 12th, 2023) but after that there were further visits.

We were there today with our entire class! A colleague didn't like the sauce on the pancakes! It was extremely commendable how criticism was handled to make it better! The chef himself wanted to know what the problem was! You can hardly find anything like this these days! My salad with turkey… was very tasty by the way! 😊

The menu is rich in interesting dishes and very good Franconian cuisine. We had a really delicious roast pork with dumplings, which we no longer find on the menu in most Franconian restaurants. Service is top!!

I had dinner here with friends yesterday. I have to say I was very excited. Food very tasty. Staff friendly. Ambience nothing special, but stylish and practical. Prices are reasonable. Portions more than generous. I had 3 Franconian (bratwurst with sauerkraut and a slice of bread), a potato salad, an apple strudel, a Radler, a Spezi, a Cola. All for just under €35, which is more than fair. So if you're in the area and looking for a good restaurant? Clear recommendation from me!

It's been a long time since I ate a slaughter bowl. Blood and liver sausage are a bit small, but the taste is excellent The other food, schnitzels, etc. were also absolutely ok. Very good food, high quality, large selection, very large portions, small portions can also be reduced in price upon request. Prices upper average. Service is quick, reservations by email or telephone work well. Beautiful seasonal decoration in the room.

In a great ambience you get tasty, exceptional food. The staff is courteous even when things get turbulent.

The food was great, like the first time we were there with my girlfriend. This time we were there with two colleagues. The service left a lot to be desired. My colleagues were told rather rudely that they had to hang their jackets in the coat rack. The only problem is that it's in progress and you can't see it. Instead of coming to our table to take our order, the waitress stood behind the counter where telephone orders are taken. A young waitress, who was probably new, was already clearing plates even though we hadn't all finished eating yet. I was annoyed about that.

Ein Besuch in Nürnberg, bzw. Franken ist nicht komplett ohne ein Schäufele und lecker Bier. Da unser Stammlokal unerwartet zum Mittag noch nicht geöffnet hatte, sind wir auf Empfehlung unseres Gastgebers hier eingekehrt. Das Ambiente im Inneren ist ganz ansprechend, was man von aussen nicht erwarten musste. Service passte und die Speisen waren durchweg gut bis sehr gut. Mein Schäufele und der Kloß waren phantastisch, nur die Dunkelbiersosse habe ich woanders schon leckerer gegessen. Schnitzel und Pommes fürs Kind waren ebenfalls Der Hit. Danke, uns hats gefallen!

Wir waren schon des Öfteren dort zum Essen. Bedienung sehr freundlich und kompetent. Essen, egal was wir gegessen haben, immer sehr lecker und auch große Portionen. Auch meine Freunde und Gäste waren immer total begeistert. Dieses Lokal kann ich absolut empfehlen. Silvestermenue war super lecker. Preis/Leistung passt einwandfrei, Gute fränkische Biere.

Die Käsespätzle waren grausig. Ein steinharter, klotziger Klumpen. Hab noch nie so schlechte Käsespätzle gegessen. Anderes Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen. Aber laut meiner Begleitung waren Schäuferle und das vegetarische gut.

Leckere fränkische Hausmannskost. Es macht Spaß dort zu essen..

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Essen war super und kam in angemessener Zeit. Sehr zu empfehlen.
