I can't believe I can eat such delicious Korean food in Germany! I'm so impressed. I highly recommend the galbitang, ugeoji, gimbap, kimchi, and japchae. Even by Korean standards, they're delicious! Thank you.

A gem in Düsseldorf where you can purchase authentic Korean food; kimbap & jokbal were my choices of the day. I was also gifted rice cake for christmas, and the general menu seemed divine. Highly recommendable place.

I personally recommend the pig's feet. The radish kimchi they served with it made it even better. It was a nice, pleasant Korean meal after a long time. Great value.

I went to Food Jung this afternoon to buy bento boxes for the family. The saleswoman was incredibly friendly and gave me great advice. The food was freshly prepared and even still warm when I got home. I'll definitely be back!

Delicious to-go food, good selection

I got a bento box and it was great! Perfect for taking with you, and the prices are pretty good. There's a fairly wide selection. If you need something quick, this is definitely the place to go!

We love getting the Korean bento boxes to go for lunch or sometimes in the evening, for example with the delicious Korean chicken. The gimbap rolls are also really tasty. Actually, everything there tastes great, and you can try a lot of different things. The ladies behind the counter are always incredibly friendly, too!

I’m so glad I got to try this place! I’ve heard that this store is a famous Korean side dish shop across European countries, and since I’m currently living in the UK, I had been really looking forward to trying it before I came here. The staff were so friendly and even kept my food for me until 3pm since my hotel check-in was at that time. The food here is all authentically delicious, and the prices are really reasonable. I really hope this store can deliver to the UK as well! I tried some pork soup and various side dishes for two days, and it really helped with my homesickness. Thank you so much! xxx❤️

Düsseldorf's pride and joy, Food Jung!

Simply amazing! I first came for the gimbap, but everything I've tried so far has been absolutely delicious! ❤️ Caution for those sensitive to spices: "spicy" means spicy here, sometimes even too much for me. I had to split the spicy fishcake gimbap into several sittings 😅 I've now compared the onigiri with what I think are all the pre-packaged onigiri in Little Tokyo, and it's simply not a fair comparison. Food Jung is by far the better, so much so that when I work shifts on Mondays and Sundays (closed), I don't even think about getting onigiri anywhere else - it's always disappointing. The onigiri here are properly filled, not just a blob in the middle and 95% rice like everyone else. That alone makes a huge difference in the taste. Please keep it up! The only thing I found was the tuna mayo onigiri, which was sometimes a bit too dry for me. It varies a bit – a little toasted sesame oil, a bit more mayo, and a few more spring onions would have been the icing on the cake for me personally. Definitely my favorite place for lunch, never gets boring even after months 😊

What a lovely and friendly shop with great products and friendly service. It's a shame I don't live around the corner. But the items (I tried a few different ones) were all delicious. Thank you.

The chicken is really delicious and halal, and the Onigiri is packed with generous filling and tastes amazing. We tried their food and went back shortly after to get more! Highly recommended.

This is a place you shouldn't go if you're too excited... I was going to buy a bunch of things and take them to another country as a treat, but... I was so excited that I didn't even realize what I bought and got home, which was disappointing... Everyone here is so kind, and next time I go, I'm going to bring two ice bags... ㅠㅠ It was so delicious that I regret buying so little... Next time, I'll try to get a little excited and buy more. I also wanted to buy kimbap, but I regret not eating it right away. Great shop. The staff was super friendly, the food was fresh and delicious (the best onigiri in town). We received excellent advice on our meal choices.

I tried the Kimchi and Bulgogi Gimbap and absolutely loved them! Both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned – the kimchi had just the right amount of spice, and the bulgogi was deliciously savory. You can really taste the quality. The service was also very friendly and fast. Highly recommend – I’ll definitely be coming back!

I went to Food Jung today, and they were so friendly and everything was delicious. I live in Hamburg, so I think it would be great if they opened one in Hamburg too.

Really delicious food, and the fresh kimchi is fantastic (be careful, it's really spicy for German palates). The gimbap is amazing, and the tofu 🤤 oh, actually, everything. The nice lady behind the counter is very friendly. I'd love to go back 🫶🏼

It was the best Korean food I've had in my two years of living in Germany. It's really delicious, the price is reasonable, and the staff is so friendly! The portions are really big, and it feels like you're eating a real home-cooked meal.

I've had a visit on my list for a long time, and I finally managed to stop by during my visit to Düsseldorf. Since we were in a hurry, we grabbed two kimbap to go—vegetable and kimchi—and they were so delicious! We'll definitely be back :) Highly recommended!

Great food at affordable prices. I love that it's so convenient to grab a kimbab and have it for a quick and easy dinner. However, I have to say I was slightly disappointed by the service today. The staff did not seem like she wanted to be there. I also asked for a spoon and was instead directed to where the chopsticks were placed. How can I mix and enjoy a bibimbap with only chopsticks....? Did not have the energy to go and back forth with the staff so I'm just chalking it up to bad luck this time. 다시 방문할 의향은 있는데 그냥 좀 섭섭하더라고요..

Food is great. The owner is always very friendly too. But there is always one chubbier lady with pony tails and fair skin who is always very very rude. Always reluctant to go in whenever I see her attending the counter.

This is a place I must visit every time I go to Dussel. Seriously... all the side dishes are delicious and the kimchi is really... This is a place where you can only eat Bibigo and Jonggatjip kimchi, but this is a place that gives you a chance to taste mom's kimchi. There are many products that you can eat right away, such as kimbap, bibimbap, pig's feet, tteokbokki, and fried chicken, and they are delicious. You can buy frozen soups, but I personally highly recommend galbitang and seaweed soup. My kids also really like the soup here, so if I lived in Dussel, I think I would have gone there often. The staff is also friendly :)

The side dishes and meat are too sweet. It's tasty. But after eating kimbap, you'll definitely get a stomachache. Sometimes they give you tough meat, so be careful.

Every time I come to Düsseldorf, I go to 푸드정 to buy side dishes and Korean fried chicken. This time, I tried rice rolls, fish plates, and pork knuckles (leg meat). I highly recommend the Gemüse Gimbap. I have never eaten pure vegetable rice rolls before. This time I tried it and it was really amazing and delicious. It is suitable to buy a box for a picnic in summer. I also bought two packs of radish kimchi this time. I am very much looking forward to trying it when I get home! I really hope that 푸드정 can open a branch in Berlin in the future🥰

Strong recommendation for anyone who loves authentic food! Here you can get Korean food, some to eat straight away and also to prepare at home. There are the classics here that are most popular in Europe such as Kimbap, Kimchi, Bulgogi lunch boxes. You can also get many other specialties here that I don't know yet, but are certainly absolutely authentic. I think the meat selection is great! You can get a lot of pork here, but also beef. But the vegan options are also absolutely delicious! The small but fine shop is located southeast at the intersection of Immermannstrasse and Oststrasse. Easiest and of course best accessible on foot directly from Düsseldorf main station! By tram you should get off at Hst. Charlottenstrasse/Oststrasse or at the subway stop Oststrasse. Be sure to stop by! 🙌🏼😋🇰🇷

Pretty good place for your korean drinking snacks

I’m visiting from Spain, and from my experience in koreans there I would ve never imagined this tasted so good. The girl working there was super nice too, and spoke english. The fishcake is absolutely great, a must try if you go here. Both things together was 10.70€. I took it back to my room, but they also have some sits for you to eat there.

A small Korean shop with big taste!! I bought Korean chicken, tuna and kimchi kimbap. Everything was super tasty. 10/10 There were also microwaves to warm up the food which was really handy. The prices were cheap, but what I liked most was the staff. Everyone was really friendly and welcomed us with a smile. You immediately felt comfortable. Thanks to the nice atmosphere, my day was somehow even better. I'll definitely be back!

I came from afar to eat Korean food. Kimbap is the most delicious I bought tofu gangjeong, soy sauce skin, japchae, triangular gimbap, and kimbap (regular, kimchi, and bulgogi) here, and the kimbap was really fresh, filling, and delicious. The other side dishes were a little too sweet for my taste, but I didn't miss Korean side dishes too much and ate them for a few days. It was a visit I definitely didn't regret. Later, I plan to buy gimbap here and just eat bread at Soboro Cafe. Haha. 200% intention to visit again.

We got a bento box with beef and a chicken onigiri here. Both very delicious. The beef in particular was very tender.

Authentic Korean Taste in Düsseldorf! This store truly stands out among the many Korean restaurants and shops in Düsseldorf. Their meal boxes and food are clearly made by Koreans, and the flavors are incredibly authentic. The Korean staff are very polite, adding to the overall pleasant experience. While the store has a very small space—just enough for two people to stand and eat—it’s much better to pick up your order or have the food delivered for convenience. As a Korean, I can confidently say I’ll be coming back to try more of their delicious food 🍱 :)

Great small Korean food store. They sell Korean onigiris, kimbaps, side dishes and fresh meat. You can heat up your food and eat in the corner too. I tried the fried fishcakes, it was very authentic and spicy. The Bibimbap onigiri was okay.

I ordered there via Uber Eats and it tasted SO delicious! 🥰 I'm thrilled and will order there more often now. Price okay. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento and vegetable gimbap.

Even a simple onigiri/triangle kimbap is tastier than other places by a mile! Perilla leaf kimchi makes me miss home a bit less. We seriously need you in every city.

I bought japchae and tteokbokki and ate them inside the store! There is a microwave inside so you can heat it up and the food is delicious!! We also have a vegan menu!

While walking around little Tokyo we were so tired to even try to eat out and combat the lines, till we saw this place selling bento’s and kimbap. Besides the bento and kimbap they all have a butcher area, which we would definitely have tried if we lived anywhere close by here. We went in and took some food out for dinner. We liked it so much we returned to take some food out for the drive back the next day and some side dishes to take home. Prices seem reasonable when looking at what we pay for these side dishes in the Netherlands. The taste is very good.

This was the best store during my visit to Düsseldorf. I think it's really nice to be able to buy a pack of side dishes, fried chicken, pig's feet, etc. It was nice that pig's feet were sold in small quantities. The store was clean and friendly. It was really nice to see a friendly side dish store near a Korean apartment complex. If it were closer to home, I would have bought a lot of side dishes, but it was a shame. I will visit again next time.

It's a shame that Food Jung doesn't exist in the city where we live! Otherwise we would probably come here every week to get the delicious food
