Das Azit (아지트) - Korean Restaurant in Düsseldorf

Wir hatten einen bunten Mix von der Karte. Es war alles unglaublich lecker. Vor allem das selbstgemachte Kimchi war herausragend. Das Essen kam schnell. Der Service war super, sehr nett und höflich. Es war eine ruhige Atmosphäre und nicht allzu viel los als wir da waren. Man konnte sich gut unterhalten.

Super Essen, nette Bedienung und ein tolles Ambiente. Das Chicken ist fantastisch! Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, haben wir zügig einen Tisch bekommen. Auch die Auswahl an Getränken ist wirklich klasse. Als kleiner Tipp: Die Stühle wirken teilweise etwas wackelig und bei der Aufmachung der Speisekarte könnte man mit etwas hochwertigerem Material noch mehr Qualität vermitteln, da es aktuell nur laminierte Blätter sind. Insgesamt aber definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Das ist mein Lieblingsrestaurant für koreanisches Brathähnchen. Die Bedienung ist super freundlich und das Essen wird schnell serviert. Die Portionen sind groß und der Preis ist angemessen. Meine persönlichen Favoriten sind das 90er-Jahre-Yang-Nyeom und das Knoblauch-Honig-Butter-Hähnchen, und ich komme immer wieder gerne dafür.

Wir waren zu fünft hier und drei von uns wollten Pfannkuchen bestellen. Uns wurde jedoch gesagt, dass pro Tisch nur zwei Portionen erlaubt sind. Dabei haben wir zusätzlich noch weitere Beilagen und andere Gerichte bestellt. So eine Regel wirkt leider eher wie Geldmacherei und sorgt eher für unzufriedene Kunden. Außerdem wurde ich, nachdem ich drinnen Bescheid gegeben hatte, dass wir zu fünft sind, in einem sehr unfreundlichen Ton gebeten, draußen zu warten. Die Mitarbeiterin wirkte dabei genervt und wenig professionell. Ich war schon öfter hier, aber nach dieser Erfahrung leider zum letzten Mal. Antwort auf Ihren Kommentar: Sie hätten uns die Situation klarer erklären sollen. Es wurde lediglich gesagt, dass pro Tisch zwei Pfannkuchen bestellt werden können, eine Erklärung oder Begründung dazu gab es jedoch überhaupt nicht. Genau das war das Problem. Ohne eine transparente und verständliche Kommunikation entstehen schnell Missverständnisse, die für beide Seiten unangenehm sind. Als Kunden können wir schließlich keine Gedanken lesen. Eine klare Kommunikation ist in solchen Situationen das Wichtigste.

Leider heute schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Personal war unfreundlich, vielleicht weil viel zutun war aber trotzdem kam es leider nicht gut rüber. Die anderen Male war es besser. Aber das hat mich heute enttäuscht. Und ich durfte mir keine zwei Vorspeisen bestellen, da gesagt wurde pro Tisch darf man nur 2 Vorspeisen bestellen. Aber wenn ich die 2 Vorspeisen für mich bestellt hätte + ein Getränk, wäre ich über 20€ gewesen und das müsste doch okay sein.

Essen war Mega lecker wir hatten die doppelte Portion Tteok genommen als Gruppe von 4. Die Preis Leistung war wirklich tipptopp 🙏🏻 Der Service war sehr nett hätte ich mehr Geld würde ich definitiv ordentlich Trinkgeld geben. Nur zu empfehlen, insbesondere für Schüler/Studenten mit weniger Geld :)🩷

Richtig tolles Restaurant. Fantastisches Essen und nettes Personal. Das Rose Tteokbokki mit Käse ist ein Muss, geschmacklich top und von der Menge her ideal für eine 4er-Gruppe zum Teilen. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich wollte wirklich etwas Tteokbokki mit koreanischem chicken, also beschloss ich diesen Ort auszuprobieren und es lohnte sich! Ich habe das Honigbutter-Chicken und das Rose Tteokbokki mit extra Käse dazu. Das Chicken war wirklich knusprig und das Tteokbokki voller Geschmack. Genau das, was ich von diesen beliebten koreanischen Gerichten erwarten und wollen würde. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder dorthin gehen! Auch das Mädchen, das meinen Tisch bedient hat, war wirklich nett und aufmerksam. Leider haben sie Trinkgeld mit der Karte nicht akzeptiert und ich hatte im Moment kein Bargeld. Das nächste Mal werde ich dafür sorgen, dass ich etwas dabei habe. Vielen Dank!

Mein all time Favorite Restaurant. Ich bin min einmal die Woche dort und es schmeckt bei jedem Mal super. Das Personal ist super süß und nett. Das Essen ist wirklich authentisch und unfassbar lecker.

Die beiden Kellnerinnen waren wirklich lieb, man hat auch gemerkt das sie wirklich ihr bestes geben um jeden glücklich zu machen. Es war denen auch unangenehm als ich sie drauf angesprochen habe das wir über 30 min auf das essen warten und sie mir sagen mussten, das es noch 10 Minuten dauert. Sie haben sich dafür auch mehrfach entschuldigt. Im Endeffekt kahmen dann unsere Sachen auch nicht zusammen, sondern erst das Chicken (was wirklich sehr lecker war) und dann noch mal 10 min später erst das Teoppoki und der Kimchi Pfannekuchen, der war sehr knusprig und hat gut geschmeckt. Aber das Teoppoki hat einfach nur scharf und nach Wasser geschmeckt. War sehr enttäuschend. Was ich auch echt schade finde, man bekommt als Beilage ein Salat mit einer Zitrus artigen Salatsauce, keine Banchans. Was man ja eigentlich von jedem koreanischen Restaurant kennt. Einweg stäbchen und nur Löffel wenn man nach fragt. Auch die Tische waren super niedrig. Für große Menschen ist es definitiv nichts.

Das Hähnchen war lecker, aber etwas zäh. Die Portion war für den Preis zu klein. Vier Euro für eine Schüssel Reis finde ich etwas übertrieben. Selbst der Reiskocher am Eingang sah alt aus. Der Frühlingszwiebelsalat war so dickflüssig, dass man ihn kaum essen konnte. Obwohl wir wahrscheinlich die ersten Gäste waren und keine Suppe gegessen haben, waren eingetrocknete Suppenreste auf dem Tisch. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um ein anderes Gericht zu probieren.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but the incredible dining experience I had at this restaurant in Düsseldorf compels me to share my highest praise. Finding this level of quality during my travels was an absolute delight. Seriously, the Jjamppong here is extraordinary. It easily surpasses the standard found in many restaurants, even back in Korea. The broth was complex, rich, and perfectly executed a true revelation. Both the Chili Shrimp and the Cream Shrimp were phenomenal. The freshness of the ingredients coupled with the impeccably balanced sauces made them utterly delicious. Even my notoriously picky child finished every last bit of the Jjajang Tteokbokki. This is a strong testament to how wonderfully prepared and tasty the food is across the board. To top it all off, the chicken was absolutely delicious. Crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Beyond the stellar food, the beverage selection was equally impressive and truly added to the experience. The owner recommended several of the local specialty beers, and each one was a perfect, inspiring pairing with the food. The unique self-service beverage area is fantastic. There is a vast array of options to choose from including a great selection of Korean drinks and alcohol making it a fun and exciting experience to choose your own drink. If you are in Düsseldorf and looking for authentic, high quality Korean cuisine with an excellent drink program, look no further. This restaurant is truly exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The original plan was to eat on Immermannstrasse. Luckily, all the restaurants there were full! Otherwise, we wouldn't have discovered Das Azit. It's a cozy restaurant that doesn't try too hard to be "Korean." Instead, everything is authentic, which is also reflected in the clientele. The seafood stir-fried noodles and seafood soup noodles are flavorful but not overly salty. The fried chicken is a good option for Taiwanese people who like mild spice. The stir-fried vegetables with sesame oil are also delicious. The staff are friendly.

Well, the service was very good. The young Korean waitress was very friendly. The restrooms are clean, the restaurant is fantastic, and you feel very comfortable eating there. The food was delicious. I ordered a soup (with chopped sausage and a small bowl of rice). The food was delicious, but I wasn't at all full, so I unfortunately had to buy another kebab to fill me up. I paid €16.90. For that money, you could have at least gotten a bit more. So, unfortunately, I'm losing one star.

It's been a while since I went here, but I still remember how great it was. Great food, nice service, plenty free seats if you get there early. Honestly an underrated restaurant!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The staff was unfriendly and seemed completely disinterested. Even though we were still in the middle of our meal and clearly still had something on our plates, we were asked if we were finished – this was very rude and gave the impression that they were trying to get rid of us quickly. As a guest, you want to feel welcome and comfortable, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. It's a shame, because the food was okay, but the service put a negative spin on the entire visit. I definitely won't be coming back.

The place itself is really nice but I was expecting more of a korean 맛집/bar style menu. The dishes however are very westernised. The staff was very nice though. And the drinks are self service so you can get whatever you want at any time without waiting for a waiter.

I was seated right away. They asked if I had time, as there were two large groups there and service might take a bit longer. It wasn't a problem for me, though, and considering they had warned me, ordering was quick and the food arrived quickly, too. Everything I ordered arrived piping hot. I can especially recommend the Jjajang myeon. I tried it for the first time and found it very, very tasty. I can highly recommend this restaurant, and if I'm ever in Düsseldorf again, I'd be happy to return.

Update 06/19/25: Unfortunately, they're no longer serving Hanpan. Therefore, it's no longer worth a visit for us. This was our first time here. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We had Yangnyeom Hanpan for dinner. It was very tasty, but for the price, it could have included a bit more meat. The Katsou mayo was also delicious, but the chicken was tough and dry. There's a large selection of drinks, which you can help yourself to.

Review for Das Azit – My Favorite Shop in Düsseldorf I simply love this shop! Every time I go to Azit, it's like a mini-vacation to Korea. The tteokbokki are my absolute favorite – really flavorful, slightly creamy (the rosé version is a dream!), and seasoned to perfection. The portion is generous and ideal for sharing, although to be honest, I prefer eating them all by myself 😄 The atmosphere is also incredibly cozy and authentic – with self-service drinks at the drinks fridge and chilled music, you immediately feel at home. Whether with friends or alone: ​​I always enjoy coming here. If you love tteokbokki, you have to stop by!

We had a Korean pancake and two chicken dishes. The chicken was tender and the breading VERY crispy. You have to like it that way. I found the sauces rather weak. We had the lemon chicken and honey butter and ordered extra galbi sauce. Unfortunately, the galbi sauce was very thin. I've experienced something different from other Korean restaurants in Düsseldorf – thicker and more flavorful. The kimchi was unfortunately VERY salty. Unfortunately, we couldn't have eaten a whole portion. But overall, everything was delicious with some potential for improvement.

We're absolutely thrilled. The food and atmosphere are very authentic. The Rosé Toekbokki for two was plenty; we even finished it all. Tip: If your friend can't eat much, don't get a side dish, or you won't be able to finish it.

Nothing special about the food—just like a typical "do-it-yourself" meal. We ordered Fried Chicken with Galbi sauce, Hot Honey Butter, and a portion of Rose Tteokbokki. The fried chicken was very plain, as if it hadn’t been marinated at all—just coated in batter and deep-fried. The sauces were quite average. For example, the Galbi sauce tasted simply like soy sauce, despite the name suggesting a rich, rib-like flavor. The Hot Honey Butter sauce mainly tasted sweet, almost as if it only had honey in it. Overall, the sauces tasted exactly as their literal menu descriptions suggested—nothing more, nothing less. The Tteokbokki was also unremarkable and rather bland.

The restaurant has no windows, very stuffy.

The portion is really small for the price. The taste is nothing special. We had sweet chili chicken, and the sauce was too sweet and sugary. The jajangmyeon costs almost 20 euros, but I manage it in two sips. We also had soup, and it was mostly chili broth. The service was okay.

We ordered the chicken with lemon sauce and tteokbokki for 2 people. The chicken was super fresh and crispy. The pan of tteokbokki was plentiful and we enjoyed it very much. We were particularly impressed that the waitress took care of the pan during our meal. We have never experienced this in Germany. We would definitely like to come back!

The taste of the tteokbokki we ate was average. It was served 30 minutes after ordering and took another 15 minutes to cook as it was freshly made tteokbokki. Even though we had reservations for 7 p.m., we couldn't start eating until 8 p.m. Overall the drink prices are quite high. Other guests praised the jjamppong; therefore, we recommend trying jjamppong rather than tteokbokki.

So the Tteokbokki original was too expensive (28€) for what you get. Yes, the round pan with the cheese ring looks good, but apart from the shredded cabbage and onions, everything was out of the bag and not even good. It was really just rice cakes, fish cake and an egg, cheese, bought croquettes, nothing else as a topping for almost €30 and drinks were self-service. 그리고 콘치즈, 감자크로켓 나오는데 거의 30€는 개오바 음료수도 비쌈

The food tastes great and the service including advice on quantity was very good! The ambience is calming and allows you to really enjoy the food.

We only had the Honey Butter Crispy Chicken, but it was so incredibly good that it was completely sufficient. The crunch doesn't make it taste like a normal piece of chicken, it's in a whole different league. It's also clear that it's priced higher than everything in the area and doesn't have the highest quality furnishings. But you're there to eat, and that was great.

If Google Maps hadn't told me there was a restaurant here, we would have missed it. We just walked in and had a really good meal🥰. It's so delicious~🥹 It's expensive, but it's so deliciousㅜ The seafood soybean paste stew is full of seafood flavor, and the pork is so delicious, it's a steal! I ate two bowls of rice. The jjamppong soup was spicy and the chicken and black bean noodles were also very good. It was a shame that there were no pickled radish.

I had ordered 3 portions of Korean chicken to take away, I thought one portion would cost €13 (but it was lunch menu) but it wasn't on the menu. I ended up spending almost €49 for 3 portions of chicken, so €16.50/portion. Then I didn't say anything else and tried it at home, the breading is good but the sauces are not at all and the chicken is very dry. I've never eaten such bad Korean chicken. Too bad. For the price I expected more.

Food rosé teokbeokki was delicious but sitting downstairs was kind of a bad atmosphere because it was cold and the place didn't look so hygienic. Also the service didn't notice us when we were waving and only came after we finished our food again. Otherwise the service was really friendly.

Ate here with friends and we had a great feast for a reasonable price. We were there mainly for the fried chicken, but we also tried the tteokbokki. The chicken was a great experience, the tteokbokki was an exciting experience (like cheese fondue with rice cake and spicy stew). When it comes to chicken, I would always recommend getting the classic version and ordering a sauce with it. The honey chicken was otherwise too sweet, the lemon sauce tasted best. What's cool is that there is a very large selection of beer and sake. The restaurant is child-friendly, but there is no changing table. Would definitely come back!

My husband and I visited this Korean restaurant in Düsseldorf during our weekend trip and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived around 11:00 when many places were still closed, but this spot was open and offered a great lunch menu. The atmosphere felt like an authentic Korean pub, which was very welcoming, and the staff was kind and accommodating, even though we don’t speak German well. We ordered bulgogi deopbap and chili mayo chicken which came with complimentary salad and kimchi. The food was incredible - I've been to Korea many times, and the taste was genuinely authentic. Dogs are also allowed, which was a huge plus. Highly recommended!

To eat: Eating the Tteokbokki (rosé = the milder version) for the second time and I love it. It is a little spicy, to reduce the spiciness we also ordered cheese. Which definitely helped. We were well fed that evening. The tteokbokki is easily enough for three people About the service: The staff is very friendly and helpful - we were guided to eat tteokbokki. The Tteokbokki was really good! I recommend going for the regular spice level, as the very spicy option is extremely hot. The service was good, and the place itself is nice. I've been there several times already, and I definitely recommend it!

My family of three ate Jjamppong, Baek Jjamppong, Jjajang, and Sweet and Sour Pork, and then got seasoned chicken to go. I was looking forward to seeing a Naver blog post saying that Jjamppong and Baek Jjamppong have a fiery taste, but they did. But it wasn't the Jjamppong soup I was expecting. The sweet and sour pork was crispy and delicious. The sauce was a bit watery, but it was still the most delicious meal I had that day. The Jjajangmyeon was very, very ordinary and the noodles were quite thick. I like jjajang, so I usually eat all the seasoning, but today I only ate the noodles and left most of the seasoning. The staff packed the leftover sweet and sour pork with seasoned chicken and brought it to me. When I got home and opened the package of seasoned chicken, there were quite a lot of French fries in it. I thought it would have been nice to have one or two more pieces of chicken instead of potatoes. It was nice that the Das Azit staff were friendly. Other than jjajang, jjamppong, and chicken, I might go back to eat sweet and sour pork again...

I am a korean and I think the atmosphere of the bar is really similar to the bars in Korea ( around university areas). The food was authentic, I chose Jeyukdeopbap( spicy pork stir fry) and jjamppong(spicy sea food noodles). Both were nice and very close to the tastes in Korea and very very spicy. The dishes were served with some korean typical side dishes. Of couse there are other not spicy options as well but I felt like spicy food that day. One thing pity was that there was no- air conditioning. So if it is really hot outside, it could be really hot in there, especially if you eat spicy food. Besides that, everything was nice, amount of food and the taste both were good!

Solid Korean food. The yangnium chicken is delicious and the service is very warm.

The fried pork was good. Very good crunch, tastes good, but you can't taste the meat anymore because it's so fried. The Korean fried chicken was subterranean. Like KFC, only significantly more expensive. Paying €3 for 6 tablespoons of rice is very cheeky. Disclaimer: we all felt extremely gross from all the fat. The food was very heavy in the stomach and you felt uncomfortable afterwards

You should be a meat lover here. The portions were really big and well prepared.

Unfortunately a flop for us. The chicken was hot and crispy, but the sauce wasn't particularly tasty. My pork belly was just hard and dry. You only get a handful of lettuce leaves for these lettuce wraps. And please, the kimchi was terribly bad. That wasn't kimchi. The side dishes are also significantly better in other restaurants. A real shame. We were so excited to try something new. What was good: the cleanliness. The chicken was hot.
