Dodo&Jojo Seoul Deli in Düsseldorf

we went to the store on a rainy day to order takeout. While we were waiting for our food to be ready, we sat by an empty table near the door. The restaurant was almost empty, with less than half the tables occupied. However, a short Korean male staff member was incredibly rude and told us to leave and wait outside. His attitude was mean and unprofessional. If we hadn’t already paid, we would have just left. Definitely won't be coming back here again. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------- On a rainy day, I was at the store to order takeout. Absolutely amazing experience at Dodo&Jojo Seoul Deli! The Korean fried chicken was perfectly crispy with a flavorful sauce that had just the right mix of sweetness and spice. The portion size was generous, and it came with a fresh salad that balanced out the meal perfectly. The highlight, though, was their cheesy corn dogs! Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and topped with a delicious drizzle of cheese sauce – they’re easily the best I’ve tried. The food is fantastic, really tasty. You can choose what you like and you won't be disappointed. There is a cheese option for vegetarians, and the selection is typically Korean. It's a nice escape into another land, and I think it's amazing. The atmosphere is also great. There is just always a line, so you need to prepare for that and have patience, but I promise it is worth it.

We have a new favourite Korean restaurant! What a treat, indeed! While it may be unnerving not knowing if there are huge or even bigger lines, and while it's not possible to reserve a table or food by phone, the lovely and friendly service, the nice seating arrangements, and above all exquisite food! The waiting lines being a proof of that 😉. Seriously, go visit, enjoy the food and the place, it's memorable 🤩

A very small shop but very tasty

The ambience could be better, more Korean style. But otherwise the corn dogs are a bit expensive but very tasty.

Very nice, small and cozy restaurant. We ate at Dodo&Jojo for the first time today and we were very pleasantly surprised that I immediately ordered a corn dog. The cheese stick with cornflakes is highly recommended! The drinks are also very exciting, definitely new and very intense flavors! The other dishes really appealed to me visually, so we will try them on our next visit!

Eunbyeol (Ayoon) recommended for a long time that her younger brother runs the place, but I had never heard of it, but now I have heard of it. The hot dog was delicious. I hope your business always goes well and you stay healthy.

Super Yummy and not oily at all!

The corn dogs are amazing! We recommend arriving as soon as the store opens as there are always a lot of people queuing. But it's worth it!

The definition of “nonsensical” doesn’t describe these stores enough because it’s relative. We were there with our 10-year-old daughter and 2 adult colleagues, the 3 companions were ordering and also eating. I had to wait outside because there was no chance of tables for 4. (although 2 of 3-5 were free) you ONLY have the option to get a seat or something edible by spontaneously ordering in front of the counter. The property is unfortunately very sales driven and benefits from teenage trends. Passionate and professional gastronomy looks different.

The food was lovely, we had a corndog, a small tteokbokki, and a small fried chicken with chili mayo, we wanted to taste different things and enjoyed it so much. It was spicy, it was fun, it was tasty, will definitely come back

Delicious little restaurant for corn dogs with and without meat. Everything tastes freshly prepared and looks very appetizing too. Also good to take with you. Unfortunately, there is usually a small queue in front of it and the entrance is relatively small. There are only a few vegetarian dishes (corn dogs only work with cheese as a filling). I've definitely been here several times and recommend it, especially to anyone who wants to eat good corn dogs in Düsseldorf.

From the beginning I came, I asked if you had any empty seats. The staff said yes and showed me to a table for 3 people. A moment later I ordered again and the staff told me to wait outside while from the beginning you invited me in. Especially the staff laughed at the customers. I will never come back, I don't care if the food is good or not but the service attitude is unacceptable.

Corndog was a bit heavy for me but tasty. However, I think €7 for a small snack is a bit too expensive.😅

A wonderful place. The food is consistently good - try their Chibap tartar - and when you're in there, you know it's an authentically Korean place. I enjoy the food and the multi-cultural atmosphere here. Worth visiting time and again!

Corn dogs were delicious! The preparation was relatively quick. Unfortunately, there is no vegan option (many other cities are already ahead in this regard). Every person MUST order something in order to eat in the restaurant - we didn't find it really open.

Super tasty. But on weekends it's very crowded and you have to wait 20 minutes, but otherwise everything is great!

I always go there with my friends when we are in Düsseldorf. The corn dogs always tasted really good and were always fresh. But recently the mozzarella cheese tasted a bit like alcohol (if I wasn't imagining it) and they forgot to make a corn dog for my friends, that can happen. However, I would still go there!

Food was very tasty! Price-wise it was great too. Only the drinks were a little expensive. All in all, recommended.

The staff was very helpful and nice. They greet you very kindly and cheerful which makes the experience very pleasant and you feel very welcome there. The shop is small and cozy and the decoration there is very pretty~ The dishes were very good! I ate Chibab and my boyfriend ate K-Chicken. In the end we shared both meals because we couldn’t decide which one was better… Both of those meals are very delicious and come with side dishes. The chicken is very crispy, sweet and spicy, which is why I would recommend grabbing drinks to your meals as well! They have this small station where you can pick out your own Cutlery and drinks. You pay after eating and they actually bring you the food. The staff there are trying very hard and are super warm and welcome:) Overall I would say that I will for sure visit this place again, once I have the chance to do so.

We came here on our first day of our trip in Düsseldorf and this was our first time trying Korean corndogs. As many reviews state, it is absolutely delicious. The service quality is amazing, if you’re only able to speak English and not German that’s not a problem, there are English speaking staff who are willing to help you. You can create your own corndog and they will prepare it fresh and warm. We only stayed for three days, the second day we couldn’t resist coming back since our experience the previous day was just immaculate. Unfortunately in Germany they generally only accept cash. Only when the order is above 10 euros you may pay with card. However that’s not a big problem. The corndogs are extremely cheap, 6 euro’s generally if you go for the classic. After paying you get this buzzer that will beep when your order is ready, so you can wait outside of the shop as well since it is a little cramped and can be a little hot.

Pretty narrow and cute restaurant. The ordering was also a bit confusing at the beginning because of the queue of people waiting in line and everyone who had already ordered being distributed outside... But the corn dogs were all the better, the best and most authentic I've eaten! I can only recommend it to everyone, even if the price is a bit intimidating, it's worth it ;)

Cute location and it's really aesthetically pleasing. Very nice employees who also advised us what we should take. I can only recommend the unusually good food and I will definitely visit again and tell my friends about it. There were 4 of us there and we were all packed ;)

I had the Korn Dog with cornflakes and I have to say I thought it was pretty good. You always imagine the amazing flavor explosion but in the end it was just a nice snack. The idea and the store itself are cool and adapted to the simplicity of the menu. So I would definitely come back because the other things looked extremely interesting too.

The space is really small and probably only fit around 6 table so if you want to eat-in, you might need to wait a long time because the waiter also don't know how long you would have to wait. Me and my friends got Tteokbokki (~11€) and Chicken Wings (~10€) both are really really good. The portion was slightly smaller than I would expect but it's still worth trying I will definitely trying the corn dog next time!

I ordered a K-Corn dog (best no. 2 (ramyeon + mayo + donkatsu) as a mixed stick version from the Korean deli. Nothing to complain about in terms of taste, you'll be happy to come back for that. However, I found the portion a bit too small. I had that another small portion of tteokbokki. The taste is a bit spicy but still very good. Overall, everything is a bit too expensive for me. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere seemed very stressful and impatient. I'd love to come back for a corn dog, the selection of different toppings was really huge.

It's my first time there. I tried the Korean sausage (corn dogs) with cheese (recommended by the cashier, thank you very much, best wishes to him), they were really very tasty. I can't think of the small thing as the size of the store because it is a bit small and the store is too crowded. And if you are mobile, it is very difficult to find a parking space. As always, the food is great, the staff is super nice, but the store is always “too full”. It would be ideal if the store were bigger, there is always something going on. I was there at lunchtime and once in the evening, both times full✨️ You pay around €7-10 per person, depending on what you buy. The food is super tasty and there are also seats, if it is full and you want to eat inside, the staff will still try to find solutions. You will then be called when there are free seats and you can then eat inside 🤗🌟 There are also customer toilets :) Since I always use public transport, I don't always pay attention to the parking situation, but parking is difficult because it's always full, so are the parking spaces (the immediate area is also full 😭). As I said, great store, great staff, but very busy✨️

I always like chicken rice, but the chicken rice here is made with chicken. There are so many! The chicken is so big, plentiful, and absolutely delicious!! It's the best...😭👍👍 It was meal time, so there was no space inside, so we ate outside, but the weather was fresh, so eating outside was the best! There is a reason why many people take out food! When you crave Korean food while traveling, there is no place like this.. The steamed food here is delicious.. Everyone is eating happily here!

We come from 200 km away and have to say that the Japchae Mandu were the tastiest thing we have eaten in a long time!!! We were also very impressed with the corn dogs. We'll definitely be back! :)
