Unfortunately, a terrible burger. Perhaps the team was overwhelmed with many customers. However, the burger was unacceptable. It lacked more than half of the toppings that I ordered. It was served on a non-toasted bun, and the meat was room temperature. The team is really working hard, and I wish the quality of food would improve. But until then, I won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant.

One of the best juicy burger chains in Germany. Everything was delicious, the service was a bit slow when there wasn't a big queue. The restaurant is located next to a large shopping mall close to the Munich trade fair. A large restaurant with two floors with really, really good music.

After two and a half hours, the food finally arrived… ice cold, of course. At first, I thought the driver might have taken a short break on the way – there's really no other explanation. I tried calling you? No luck. No answer, no apology, nothing. Now I'm sitting here with a cold dinner that cost over €30 and I'm seriously wondering if this is the famous Five Guys standard. If so – congratulations, you've definitely delivered to me for the last time.

The burger buns were cold, the fries were lukewarm and not crispy... The accessible toilet was closed, and going up and down the steep steps with crutches seemed too dangerous. I asked two employees to unlock the door, but they told me to go to the department store next door. I've been there once and I won't be back.

Positive: Fries okay, burger patties okay. Negative: Dirty place, dirty tables and benches. Burgers carelessly thrown together. Cheese served cold and not allowed to melt. Fried onions cold and thickly sliced. Two tomato slices stacked on top of each other on the burger. Burger buns barely browned. Conclusion: First and last time.

The food was good, but not worth the price. The free refills are actually quite good. The ambiance is just appropriate for a Five Guys store.

I went with two friends and paid €70 between them. I think that's a steep price for fast food. The food doesn't taste particularly good; the burgers were okay, but not worth the money. The fries were completely oversalted. The only good things were the drinks and milkshakes. At least there's something good about this place. I'd recommend the McDonald's next door; the price and taste are much better there.

I tried Five Guys for the first time on April 25, 2025 in this restaurant. Delicious food aside, I'd like to thank Marvin, the guy who works there, for making our day so much better. This is a late message though, you're a very nice person who loves your job.

The food is as you'd expect at Five Guys. The two-star deduction is only because, unfortunately, in the last 10 visits over the past two years, the drinks machine has not been working frequently (three times). (Either there is no sparkling water, no hot water, only one machine works, or there are only two different drinks.)

Actually, a great chain in the US with good quality. I don't understand how they can implement the concept so poorly in Germany. The meat usually has no roasted flavors, everything is very bland and tasteless. The fries are usually light and soggy, the exact opposite of what they are in the US. The Coke machine is often broken. You pay almost €5 for a cup of the many varieties, and in the end, you're disappointed when only one type of Coke works. Plus, €26 these days for fries, Coke, and a burger... Getting more and more expensive and worse and worse.

I heard from many of my friends that it was delicious and a really good burger place, so I gave it a try. A hamburger, fries and a coke cost 27 euros, but we were very disappointed. The hamburger was cold, it tasted like canned food, the beef had no taste at all, the bun was dry, the fries were acceptable. I'm not a picky eater at all, but this was by far the worst hamburger and gastronomic experience of my life. For that kind of money, you would expect to get at least a minimal taste experience, but after we finished, all we could do was feel nauseous. I also ordered a shake, which was fine. If you have other options, find another place if you want to eat something delicious.

It takes forever to get your food

The branch that puts the fewest potatoes into its portion in all of Germany. Coca-Cola Zero in the beverage machine is ready at 1:00 PM. Opening hours: 11:00 AM.

I was charged 3 times, following a technical problem, no response from customer service...

The burgers and fries were disproportionate to the price. We had to wait 20 minutes for our burgers during the trade fair, and the wait time wasn't apparent while ordering. Most of the tables in the restaurant were dirty and not cleaned regularly.

Expensive for what they give, but it's Germany and these are the prices here.

Had dinner there with the family. Great atmosphere, made me feel like back in the states. Burger and fries all fresh and no complaints.

The burger was good. The cost was too high. 4 people, 1 burger each, 3 drinks, 2 milkshakes, 3 fries – €100.20. There were plenty of empty tables, 80% of them sticky and covered in food. Everything was rather dirty.

I don't think it's necessary to announce that they're closed. I drove for quite a while and was very disappointed. Especially with chains like these, announcements are the least they can do.

Recently visited this Five Guys outlet and absolutely loved it! The fries and burgers were amazing – definitely one of the best we’ve had in Germany. The place was clean and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Highly recommend!😊

I was here about two weeks ago for the first time in a long time, and I won't be coming back anytime soon. My order was taken incorrectly, my fries were soggy, as if they'd been dragged through water. Simply inedible, and the drinks machine upstairs was gone, too. Apparently, the staff here has changed, and with the old staff, the quality and cleanliness have also gone.

You want to remove tomatoes from your burger, but it's not possible when ordering, and they don't even understand what you want in person. The worst thing is that you end up getting ingredients (mushrooms) on your burger that you didn't order, and you even have an allergic reaction... A threat to your health and life! Never again!

My favorite fast-casual burger place. The staff is always friendly, the food comes out quick, and everything tastes amazing. Cajun fries is a must try.

Yes, it's actually very good quality (fries and cheeseburger), and that comes at a price. The store was clean, very spacious, and there's plenty of room. The music was a bit too loud for me. Cheeseburger + fries = €17.75 (August 2025).

If you eat on site, they don't give you a tray but a take-away bag. Maybe they don't want you to dirty the place. You get a terrible burger and some equally terrible fries. They put them in a glass like the ones used for drinks, but they put so much of it that you have to dig into the bag to find the sandwich. With service like that, they won't get very far.

Disgusting food, but the staff is great

A beautifully minimalist burger house with delicious fries and milkshakes. With the toppings, you have to be careful to only get the toppings and not the "basic items." The soft drink machine has everything your heart desires. Everything is already very expensive.

Instead of dusting the lamps with a duster while guests eat, the staff should be taking care of the completely filthy tables and seating. There were still a lot of food scraps on and under the tables, and everything looked very sticky and unhygienic. I recommend bringing disinfectant or wet wipes and cleaning everything first before sitting down and putting your food on the table.

I'm disappointed with Five Guys here. I bought large Cajun fries to go. Initially, I wanted to order them from the vending machine using cashless payment for €7.50. However, since I wanted to pay with cash, I bought them at the checkout. I paid almost €9. I asked why the price at the vending machine was different when paying at the checkout, but the employee couldn't explain. Since I was also in a hurry, I was quite frustrated.

The staff is untrained. They take orders incorrectly, speak poor English, and almost no German. Mayo is out on all floors. The benches and floor are sticky. This isn't worthy of a true Five Guys. That's how you ruin a brand reputation. Obama isn't helping. The restaurant manager should ask himself if everything is running smoothly.

Honestly, I've never seen such a dirty chain store. The service is terrible. The concept is lousy, in my opinion. Far too expensive for the quality.

The food is perfectly fine, and the value for money is also excellent. The burgers and fries are delicious, and the idea of offering a wide variety of drinks with refills is also great. The downstairs area could be a bit nicer; it now has more of a factory feel, while the first floor is more cozy. Nevertheless, I'll be back.

The fries are honestly way overrated. The burger tasted terrible, too. I'm very unsatisfied with the food. The prices are definitely high, but the quality is good – the meat is really good and tastes fresh. If you're not familiar with American food, you should hold off on any criticism, because these burgers are worlds better than those at McDonald's or Burger King. Sure, it's not for every budget, but if you can afford it, you'll get one of the best fast-food burgers in town.

Really not tasty! The meatball was hard, I threw away the mushrooms because they smelled really strange, the fries were soggy, there was tons of garbage, the place was dirty, the floor was sticky, long wait times, steep prices, and the drinks weren't tasty either... You can get much better quality for less time at the well-known places.

The fast-food restaurant is located near the Riem Arcades. "Five Guys" is a "must" for all kids right now, we were told 😀. Okay, let's go for "American" food. The outside area was very dirty; I have no idea what some of the guests were doing there, but no place was clean 🤬 It didn't look any better inside on the ground floor. Okay, I promised the burger... The selection is different than at MCD or BK. Meals? None. Everything has to be ordered separately. Wow, that adds up. The burgers can be ordered with 15 toppings. Interesting. We combined a "cheeseburger" with various toppings, a small side of fries, and a drink. For four people, the total came to a mere €72. Wow, that's a bit steep... Our order was prepared in a reasonable amount of time, and the staff were all friendly. Where should we go to eat? The first floor still looked good, so we ate further back. The burgers were well-topped, a bit "mushy"; there was dripping from the aluminum coating (sustainability?!) of the burger. They tasted good, but we didn't like the texture so much. The fries were served in paper cups (all together in a paper bag), and the rest was scattered throughout the bag, which wasn't so nice. The drink selection is huge with combinations, but you have to get your own Coke from the machine. Incidentally, you can refill it as often as you like, which is nice. All in all, I'm not convinced. The price is very high for a set meal, and the burgers are too soggy for me (see photos in other reviews; ours looked the same). If you like it, fine, not me. I would have liked more cleanliness, especially at the outdoor tables, hence the deductions...

The friendly service and the ability to customize the burgers are worth highlighting. The fries were average but still far from bad. The burger itself was great. I know it's the concept, but the aluminum foil bothers me. I don't find it environmentally friendly (even though the chain pays attention to very high quality, especially with the meat), nor do I find it appetizing. The atmosphere is lively, almost too loud for me. The restroom is clean, the wait time is short, and the prices are okay. Will I be back? Definitely. Will it become my favorite fast food chain? Probably not. Still, it was delicious, and we had a good time here.

The only fast-food chain that offers burgers in lettuce wraps. Perfect for people on a low-carb keto diet. What I didn't like was that they didn't offer tablets, only bags, even for eating inside. The service wasn't particularly communicative and lacked trust. I received only one refill cup instead of three. The other two only arrived when I asked for them. Also, the prices are really high, even though you can get many extras with your burger for free.

Cool! And good! The burger tastes much better than those at the well-known burger chains. The meat is cooked in front of the customers. It looks good. I had a cheeseburger for €12.50. Yes, it's a steep price. AND I was full for it! Unlike the competition. The burger is large, with two slices of meat. The cheeseburger comes with two slices of cheese. You can choose from 15 (!) different toppings. The bread tastes very good too. Again: completely different and much better than the competition. Fries: I had the smallest portion, for €5.25. A LARGE portion, I definitely don't need more. The shop has an open-plan design. The guys and girls are cool and do a great job.

Wow, what can I say, it's a chain made for Americans or Germans, they put so many ingredients in the Burgers that it's almost impossible to eat it normally and its appearance doesn't make you want it at all. At 14th of February, at 9:42 pm, I was at five guys Munich Messe and ordered a Burger and regular Fries. I added Mayonnaise that is available for free in the (uncooled) dispenser. I took the food to my hotel room next door and ate it. The taste was fine. However, I felt really sick shortly after the mean. I then had to puke around 10:30 pm, around midnight, and three more times during the night. It, therefore, was a horrible night and experience! An voucher was offered to me the next day for a free meal, but it was expired. The restaurant manager promised me to refund me but until today nothing. Really disappointing for the premium price, stay away.

It was the first and last time I was in a 5 guys. There are hardly any veggi options and the veggi burger was the worst I've ever eaten. It was full of onions and mushrooms, there wasn't even a veggi patti, the taste was terrible. The ambience does not seem modern and inviting. However, the staff is friendly and very quick. Not recommended for vegetarians Aluminum foil for every burger is also questionable, even when eaten in a restaurant
