A great service/food from the Nautilus team! We came to this wonderful, cozy restaurant with 10 people. We were served friendly and quickly. The food was great. Keep it up. It's a pleasure to be a guest here.

Best fish restaurant in Zinnowitz.

Extremely friendly service and delicious food. Be sure to try the Nautilus fish platter with crab egg, cod, zander, pollack and baked potato with cleverly seasoned quark. The steamed cod in dill sauce is also good.

Saturday evening at 8:05 p.m. we entered the half-full restaurant, supposedly open until 10 p.m. The man behind the counter just shakes his head. When asked what was going on, he just said “kitchen closed”. No smiles, no regrets. The couple who also came felt the same way. And then many German restaurateurs complain about bad business. We then went to an Italian restaurant, well stocked, received a friendly welcome and ate very well. That's how it works.

We remembered the Nautilus so well because we had been there before. Unfortunately we weren't happy this time. As soon as we were seated we were told off by the service that we should wait until we were seated. About the food: I think the fried potatoes were fried and were dripping with fat. The fish was almost over the point. The chicken steak with Mediterranean vegetables and fried potatoes was mediocre. All in all we were disappointed.

We've been in Zinnowitz for two years and eating out at Nautilus is just part of it...everything just fits, we're totally thrilled and are already looking forward to next year...

Nice restaurant with friendly staff and very tasty food. We sat nicely on the small covered terrace in the rain and really enjoyed our meal.

Exactly what we were looking for. Without any fancyness. But down to earth and super tasty. The cook can't do any canned sauces, it was all home cooked. Only recommended

Very tasty. We were thrilled with the fish curry, like last year.

Were there for the first time (and also for the last time). Waited almost an hour for the food, even though it was only normally busy. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the waiting time, as it was just mediocre: "fried potatoes" were deep-fried (see photo) and excessively greasy and salty, only frozen vegetables with purchased Hollandais sauce. Only the fish was okay. The portion size was also not enough to fill you up. We go on vacation to the Baltic Sea 3-4 times a year and eat a lot of fish. That's why we allow ourselves the rather mediocre rating. Recommendation: If you want to eat really good fish, it's better to go to the "real" restaurant Nautilus near Putbus on Rügen.

We ate there several times on vacation.....it's super tasty, very nice service and a great ambience....Big compliments to the kitchen and the team....we'll be back....

Difficult to rate, I relied on Google's opinion, I personally didn't like it. Drinks were good, service too, the food, especially the main course, was nothing. The fish was very well fried and there was a lot of it, but the side dishes were completely over salted and fried potatoes were fried, no garnish or salad, beans were carelessly on top. And for a total of over €60, I wouldn't go there again.

Even without a reservation, I managed to get a seat for two. It's on the street but that doesn't bother you here. Food was good, service was very nice, we felt comfortable

The restaurant is very rustic, which we like. The waitresses were very friendly. The drinks came quickly and were appropriately chilled. Our dishes were very tasty. One point is deducted because the fried potatoes were fried. Too bad. Unfortunately you cannot pay with an EC card. That's ok, but you should either mention it at the beginning or sign it somewhere. Conclusion: You can eat very tasty fish here.

Good food - very tasty fish, quick and friendly service. Pleasant opening hours until 10 p.m. Where elsewhere in the area the sidewalks are already up, you can safely stop here at 8 p.m.

The food in this seafood restaurant was truly of remarkable quality. The service was in complete contrast, the waiter was very impatient right from the start, very unfriendly, indignant and unable to write down the orders correctly. When he complained about the wrong food, he reacted negatively and angrily. When he was refused a tip, he became even more rude. The ambience of the restaurant was okay, but I would have liked there to be towels in the toilet.

Sind spontan gekommen und haben direkt einen platz erhalten. War aber auch echt glück(wir waren früh dran) danach füllte es sicher sehr schnell. Essen war wirklich lecker und Bedienung ganz ok... Mein Freund bestellte eine Fuschplatte mit verschiedenen Fischen, die beim servieren nicht erklärt wurden. Wäre toll zu wissen, was man da isst. Zum schnell Essen gehen ist es zu empfehlen.

2022: Instead of going once as planned, we had to go again. The fish curry was great.😋 ... the other dishes too, of course. 2023: And a year later we are already looking forward to the next one. It tastes great and even if you have to wait a while for a seat, it's definitely worth it. 2024: As in previous years: super nice staff, delicious food and we are looking forward to next year.♥️

We had dinner here. The food took a very long time. Neighboring tables all got their food early. Food over-salted, fried potatoes fried, fish over-fried and saturated with fat. Waiter was nice and quick. Unfortunately no card payment.

Food ok, service nice but waiting times beyond good and bad

We went here based on some recommendations but in the end we were more than disappointed. The only good thing was that the beer was served quickly. The food, especially for the children, was very carelessly prepared and everything was simply fried to death. One vegetable side dish was normal frozen vegetables with ready-made hollandaise sauce...so nothing earth-shattering. For us it had nothing to do with cooking. Unfortunately the worst experience in Zinnowitz so far. Which was also very annoying. The EC card machine had probably been out of operation for 2 days. A note about this at the beginning would have been nice in this day and age. The waiter referred to a note on the front door, which you don't really notice when you're sitting on the terrace in front of the restaurant.

Angepriesen als das beste Fischrestaurant in Zinnowitz ... die Frage ist nur, aufgrund welcher Grundlage? Schwierig, einen Tisch zu bekommen. Also reservieren ... nur mit Stirnrunzeln der guten Frau ... zum Zeitpunkt der Reservierung war aber das halbe Restaurant leer. Nicht schlimm, warum auch? Zander nach Art des Hauses wurde bestellt und kam auch recht rasch. Wird offenbar sehr häufig bestellt, da kann man in der Küche schon mal vorarbeiten. Ehrlich gesagt wurde meine Erwartung nicht erfüllt. Die Essenqualität war gut aber nicht überragend, die Portionsmenge war für den doch stattlichen Preis etwas übersichtlich, aber man geht zumindest nicht hungrig hinaus. Bedienung okay, reserviert und augenscheinlich auf professionelle Freundlichkeit trainiert. Das Ambiente wirkt überholt, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Mein Fazit: Es war okay, aber auch nicht mehr. Einen Punkt mehr hätte ich gegeben, wenn es faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gäbe, aber das kann man in der Hauptsaison auch nicht erwarten.

I was lucky to get a table without a reservation. Otherwise it is almost impossible without a reservation. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was super tasty and reasonably priced.

Small but fine restaurant in the center of Zinnowitz. Located on a side street, a little away from the hustle and bustle. You can sit comfortably inside and outside. Very friendly service. There are excellent fish dishes and a selection of matching drinks here. The Chardonnay we had with the fish went excellently. If you think the fish should swim more, there are several types of aquavit available. Depending on the season and the crowds in town, it might be better to make a reservation. The next visit when we are back on site is definitely planned.

The food for our granddaughter came very quickly and she then had to wait over an hour until we got our food. The fried potatoes were nothing. The beans in my meal were too salty. And the toilets looked like the photo 😳.

No card payment possible, ashtrays were empty on the table, the fish curry was not well described and there was some kind of leftover use, the rice was overcooked and everything tasted like peppers and spicy. Never again.

Thanks for nothing,…. After a really exhausting day, our reservation here at the restaurant was the only constant thing we were really looking forward to. With a lot of effort, we managed to arrive on time at the reserved time after a day in the hospital and many other hurdles that had to be overcome. We were told that our table wasn't free yet and she didn't know when that would be, as the guests were probably ordering more drinks than expected and we should ask again at a later date... Sorry! No! I have been a restaurateur for 20 years, 10 of which were self-employed. If I assign a table more than once, I plan a 15-minute transition, tell the first guests when they will get the table and collect accordingly... We were so looking forward to the evening to recharge our batteries and so of course we were fobbed off. In the Turi area it doesn't matter, the next person will definitely come and the individual is not interested. Just like this review! Luckily, the Italian opposite doesn't think that way and, like every time and shortly before the end of the day, greeted us happily with a smile, even without a reservation, and ultimately sweetened our evening with his hospitality, which was perhaps not quite as culinary as here. This is despite the fact that he would not have to rely on the two of us due to his location and size, but because he is a good restaurateur and host. Sorry, but we wouldn't ever set foot in this place for money, no matter how good the food might be. That's not how you treat guests.

Reservations recommended! Service was quick and courteous despite unfriendly guests. Except for a few spices, the food was very tasty (a matter of taste). 👍🏼 I was missing some sauce with the potato wedges. The price is completely okay.

Nice staff, food was ok, portions were very large. What we didn't think was so cool was that our little one got his food more than 15 minutes before us and it was therefore difficult for us to eat in peace. Something like this would be practical if there was a playground, but a 5 year old wouldn't be able to play outside right on the street. Tip for parents: bring something to do 😜 We wouldn't want to come with a child again. The location is really nicely decorated and very comfortable

We were totally thrilled with the food: plaice and zander.

Already ate there in 2021, pregnant at the time with appropriate advice on the selection, again yesterday, July 7th, 2024. This time with the 2 year old by the hand. Reserved in advance by phone, as always the service was super friendly, the food was on the table in no time, the quality was simply tip-top and the interaction with my very bright child was flawless. We felt incredibly comfortable and will definitely come back, keep it up!

Rump steak and cod fillet were delicious. We just remember that the prices are not current on the website. We went there because the prices are cheaper than the other restaurants, but that wasn't the case. We paid 26.90 instead of 22.80 for rump steak and 22.50 instead of 18.80 for cod fillet. The waiter also forgot to ask me what the rump steak should be (whether well done, medium, rare, etc.). Was unpleasant.

What kind of delicious meal was that? 😋 Even our sometimes picky children were totally thrilled! Our tip: either get there early enough or reserve a table! I had the tagliatelle with walnut pesto and pollock! Simply great! The staff is very nice and the price-performance ratio is also good! We will be back definitely!

This is our fifth time in Zinnowitz. On the first evening we always go to the Nautilus. Delicious zander and plaice are always a good start to the holiday. We are already looking forward to next year

It was more than disappointing. We ate here about a year ago and it was unbeatably delicious. That's why we decided to eat at Nautilus again this time. The anticipation was great, we quickly called, booked a table and set off. The welcome was very poor, everything had to happen quickly, quickly, quickly. You could almost call it unfriendly. The fish was full of bones, the tagliatelle was way too soft and cold. So our assessment is that we won't be coming back.

What can you say, Authentic atmosphere, service absolutely great. And the food is A1 at fair prices.

I was there last year... It was underground... I hoped it had improved today... no, it didn't. A completely grumpy, unfriendly waiter... Who told me that there was no more beer...absolutely none. The tap system was broken... he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. There were still beers on the tables around me. He made no attempt to get beer... bottled beer, for example. He very briskly refused my friendly request for a replacement drink... "Why should I do that?" "Because you don't fulfill your offer." The restaurant is absolutely not recommended. As many other reviews report. I was reminded of the lack of service in East pubs. Unfortunately, this coincides with other experiences in a week in Usedom. Disinterested waiters in Ueckeritz... The three of them standing in the door... chatting... not looking at the guests...

With a little luck we got a place. Super fast and friendly service. After a reasonable wait we received our food. Otter and redfish in batter. Everything was very tasty and freshly prepared. It's best to reserve.

Erst einmal kann ich die Bewertungen hier nicht so ganz nachvollziehen. Es ist ein kleines Restaurant mit ehrlichen Preisen. Die Bedienung war freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend (mit nordischem Charme). Wir hatten Dorsch und Rotbarsch. Gute gebraten und sehr schmackhaft. Was man bemängeln könnte wäre das TK Gemüse, war aber im Grunde und für den Preis ok.

Salt and pepper are on the table, which I personally think is great and no guest can complain that they were too salty or too bland (too salty is your own responsibility)! We'd love to come back

I loved the people and service and they were very nice. But it can’t be helped if the food is plenty and really ok cooked but lacks in flavor. I would highly recommend trying some sauces or even just salting the fish a bit.

For me, as a loyal island visitor, it was the worst fish meal. The waitress (woman) brought the drinks and turned up her nose. Luckily nothing got into our glasses. The food was bad, both in terms of taste and appearance. For almost 25 euros plaice with fried potatoes there was 1 small slice of cucumber for decoration. That was all. Really outrageous to deliver something like that for this price.

Enttäuschend! Das es Spargelgerichte gab, stand weder in der Speisekarte noch hat der Bediener drauf hingewiesen. Stand wohl auf einer schwarzen Tafel. Kein Service für mich. Dann mein Matjes-Gericht: das schlechteste, was ich je gegessen habe! Bratkartoffeln Note 3, Matjes 4-! Das 2. Gericht bei uns am Tisch: Paprika-Steak. Das Fleisch war ok, jedoch Letscho aus dem Glas drüber gegossen, ein No Go. Nur Barzahlung möglich - und das in einer touristischen Hochburg Nicht zu empfehlen!

My harbor master steak, well, for me personally, it wasn't exactly the best, why you could possibly ask how the guest would like the steak, but well, the beans, well, beans and then there were the fries, well All in all, for me personally, I wouldn't eat here again

Finally fried herring. We were able to sit outside at 16*C. Prices are OK. Herring with fried potatoes €14.50.

We were there on the first Tuesday in April 2024 around 7:00 p.m. The waiter was super fast & friendly even though the restaurant was full. Drinks arrived in a flash and the food didn't take long to arrive either. Steamed cod & fried zander were very fresh & tasty & REALLY GENEROUSLY portioned, we were stuffed & satisfied. We will definitely come back & recommend the restaurant. In the season I would strongly recommend a table reservation.

A beautiful little restaurant in downtown Zinnowitz. The ambience was wonderful. The room is beautifully designed and there was nice music playing. There are only a few tables, so it's better to book in advance. We stopped by spontaneously and got a spot straight away. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty and also very freshly prepared. Definitely worth a visit!

We ate at Nautilus on a recommendation! Were here twice! Very nice atmosphere with great service and great cuisine! Small but nice! I had fish twice and my husband was very happy with the meat menu and fish menu! Clear fish soup highly recommended! Gladly again!

Pepper steak somehow tasteless and dry, fish terrine feels like there are no fresh ingredients... it's a shame, disappointing

Service was authentic and attentive. Ambiance in the inn was great. Drinks and food were quickly at the table. The taste and quality convinced us. Price/performance is great. The two of us paid almost 70 EUR for a starter, main course and drinks.
