Indian Villa in Zinnowitz

Now I was there on a cool day and unfortunately you can't use the terrace. Sat in the back area. Something needs to be invested in furniture and ambience. Otherwise everything is good.

The "Indian" restaurant can be found almost directly on the pier in the Baltic Sea resort of Zinnowitz. Unfortunately it makes a very dirty impression. I have no idea why we (2 adults, 2 children) stayed. The waitress was from Punjab - probably the only one from India. The Indian food was so full of cream and didn't taste good at all. Here, too, the waitress didn't come back after clearing away the food. After waiting for 15 minutes, we moved outside and then paid directly at the exit. The waitress was afraid that we would want to leave the restaurant without paying. There was no invoice, just the credit card receipt. Waitress asked again about the drinks because she couldn't remember them. We will no longer be entering this restaurant either. Simply underground and not recommended.

Personally, I wouldn't eat in this restaurant again. The food was quite ok and the service was also quite nice. Nevertheless, you are asked every 2 minutes if you want something else even though you haven't even taken a moment to look through the menu. Personally not my case...

The chicken was raw, it took far too long for the food to come, the pizza was an industrial frozen pizza, the good reviews were most likely bought, the staff can't speak German, they get a lot of things wrong and sometimes don't bring drinks at all and you sometimes have to take care of the cutlery yourself

We ate there three times last week. The first time on the terrace, the following times inside due to the weather. We were lured by the fish offerings and were very surprised by the quality. As a greeting from the kitchen, everyone was served a delicious little bowl of chicken and vegetable soup. The fish was fried to perfection and the side dishes were very tasty. One evening I ate the chicken curry so I could try the Indian part of the menu. I wasn't disappointed, very tasty and a large portion. The terrace is nicely laid out, the interior is a bit old-fashioned, also in Indian style. The young waitress was always very nice, even if she didn't speak German very well, communication wasn't a major problem. The innkeeper is worth a special mention, funny, humorous and very friendly. Compliments and gladly again.

Not again. The service staff barely understands German and English is also difficult. Inside it's like a junk room, outside it's no better. Signed dish not available. Ate schnitzel with fries, schnitzel totally salty and apparently a finished product. There were fries without ketchup or mayonnaise. The starter soup that was served seemed to be made from kitchen scraps (free). All in all, not worth the visit.

The absolute blast, you MUST have been there! The “bouncer” alone with his curly sayings is great! But about the food: very good selection and quality, everything Lecler, prices ok, everything is great! We would LOVE to come back!

Unfortunately you can't give zero stars. Complete chaos, waiting times immensely long. Unfortunately, despite a polite invitation, we didn't make it to dinner. Dirty dishes are on top.

Unfortunately, we didn't even get to ordering the food because everything there was so chaotic that we waited half an hour for the drinks and after that, despite repeated requests, no one came to our place. It's a shame, because the welcome and the German-speaking waiter were nice.

Rocked down and outdated awning. Service absolutely subpar, a disgrace for the catering industry. Beer is served frozen to the table without comment. Everything floats. Change is pocketed without comment. You are constantly being watched by the bored service staff. NEVER AGAIN .

Unfortunately not a good experience. We decided on the Italian dishes, i.e. a pizza, pasta with Bolognese and pasta gratinated with ham and cream sauce. To our surprise, we received ready-made lasagna that wasn't even fully baked and didn't match our order, and a bad frozen pizza that had nothing to do with real (advertised) Italian food. Unfortunately the Bolognese tasted sour and therefore not good and so our dinner was unfortunately ruined. What's more, the condition, even when serving, couldn't put his cigarette down and when asked about the dishes the only answer he got was that everything was there, even though there was no sign of ham or cream sauce.

First the good: The side salad with the mango dressing was very tasty. Now the bad: The gentleman who invited us into the restaurant was very nice and raised our expectations. In the discovered, even a bad expectation would be a better rating than our experience. unfortunately. The restaurant was well filled so there is no negative criticism about the waiting times. My partner and I had the bruscetta for the starter and the grill plate for two people for the main course. When it came to the grill plate, we wanted to swap the potatoes for simple fries. Even if the calculation had been 100% worth it, I would have paid an extra charge because I wanted a change, but the waitress told me I could order extra fries but she couldn't change the food. For a dish that costs €42, I thought it would be too much to order a portion of fries on top. In addition, we were not asked whether we wanted the beef medium rare or well done. Well standards exist everywhere so not so wild (for now) The starter and the main course both came very quickly and at appropriate intervals. The bruscetta was very bland and lacked herbs and garlic. When we cleared away the starter we weren't asked if it had snails. The grill plate came with rosemary potatoes and a very tasty side salad. The chicken was dead and mealy The pork is paper thin and overcooked The beef is more than dead. The potatoes are tasteless despite having a good consistency and doneness. I really don't know how to do that. I have been a restaurateur myself for over 15 years. I would never claim that I do or can do everything better, but it wasn't just a disaster because it was the last evening. It was really torture to eat the food properly, let alone enjoy it, but we were really hungry and forced it down. In addition, in the end we weren't full and had to make something to eat at home so that we could go to bed full. But there really wasn't a waiter to be seen anymore. Only when we had finished eating did the waiters dare to come back to our table and again only the plates were cleared away. Only AFTER paying and only when THE BOSS noticed that he didn't get a tip did he ask if everything was okay. I told him everything and revealed our displeasure. He said here you could change all the side dishes without any problems and you would ALWAYS ask whether the beef should be medium rare or well done. Probably just not with us. Exactly A real disappointment, especially because we saw satisfied guests at all the other tables. Too bad

Very friendly and nice team. Food tasted good, we had vegetarian menus. You can have a very cozy meal there in the evenings, with live accordion music.

So schlecht habe ich noch nie gegessen (Kalbsleber mit Rosmarin Kartoffel). Die Leber war so zäh, dass man sie kaum schneiden, geschweige denn essen konnte - war wahrscheinlich schon 10 Jahre alt das Kalb. Das alkoholfreie Weizen konnte man auch nicht genießen, vermutlich mit Wasser gestreckt. Es gab aber weder ein Entschuldigung noch einen Preisnachlass. Fazit: NIE wieder!

This restaurant has a strong focus on mass catering. The last meter of the terrace is filled with a table and a chair, which doesn't leave much space for service. The stressed-out waitress constantly rushing past the table somehow stresses you out. However, that is the advantage of this restaurant: the drinks and food are on the table very quickly. The food was good 👍 Unfortunately, hygiene seems to suffer a bit due to the haste of the staff... The beer glass on the floor wasn't rinsed properly.

Before you go, read the reviews, not just the good ones. (Perhaps they were purchased). Staff not organized, doesn't understand German. Food not good. Beef steaks were fried crispy, even though we had ordered medium fried. Staff not friendly and food not good. The police had to intervene because it was impossible to get along with the staff. I wouldn't recommend

Preis/Leistung steht in keinem Verhältnis. Schlechter Service, total überfordert, Kleines TK Schnitzel mit ein paar Pommes für knapp 18€. Es war wirklich nicht gut und ich kann hier nur warnen. Andere Tische hatten auch nur Probleme.

Our search quickly found an invitation and we were seated nicely. Quick service less than 15 minutes later we had our food. It was very tasty. There was schnapps for free on Monday evening...but that wasn't for us. We'd love to come back.

We ate there on Saturday August 24th, 2024. The service tried hard...as the saying goes, "she was always trying hard." We were very disappointed with the baked pasta with broccoli. The broccoli tasted sour and the cream sauce wasn't that tasty either. The heating in the toilet could also be cleaned.

The worst thing I've ever experienced was the food, the catastrophe: the guy who lures you in and texts you until he puts you in a corner, then the service that doesn't understand you, and the constant harassment and disruptions from the rest of the staff while you're eating, oh, on the subject of food That wasn't okay either, frozen fish and completely overcooked then the chicken was totally hard and dry no chance of chewing it and the rosemary potatoes were cold and no trace of rosemary but 80 euros for that is just cringy shame should they be completely processed there

Great Indian food for a fair price. You can also eat the Italian dishes well.

Unfriendly service who doesn't understand German when asked about allergens. We tried English, but that didn't work either. The identification of allergens has been mandatory since 2014, and there is no trace of it on the menu. The free soup beforehand didn't deserve the name and consisted of tasteless kitchen scraps, the salad was a joke. The chicken gyro was poorly seasoned with greasy onions, the fries were made from old fat and the naan bread was at least from the day before. The bill for 31.10 euros hurt and when paying, the waitress couldn't hand it over and thought that the difference to 35 euros should be viewed as a tip....with so much audacity, unfortunately I couldn't spontaneously think of anything other than the change to pass. When that didn't work (she didn't have a wallet with her to cash in), we were let go with 30 euros and a scowl on our faces. I am still stunned by what is on offer and can only warn against this restaurant.

Das Essen schmeckt. Doch es war so überteuert und nicht transparent, wir bekamen gar keine Rechnung. Holten das Essen ab und gingen völlig verdattert wieder aufgrund der Summe, die wir zahlen mussten.

Das essen war der größte Reinfall , ich hab ein Schnitzel bekommen was wie ein Kinder schnitzel aussah , darauf war 1 Champion , zusätzlich kam auf den Teller auch ein paar Haare dazu , die Kellnerin guckt schief und ist unfreundlich , ich empfehle es niemanden der mal schick essen gehen will , da lohnt sich ein Imbiss mehr .

Indian woman as a service person very unfriendly and impolite, no thanks for tips, no warm welcome. Polish service staff very nice and helpful. Food wasn't good. Rice wasn't fresh, chicken nuggets were fried in fish oil, you can taste it. We wouldn't go there again!

Very nice restaurant, great atmosphere, very nice staff, lots of gifts from the kitchen such as spirits, soups and also small gifts for the children. The music you play on the accordion also creates a pleasant feeling. The pizza and pasta we chose were delicious!! 10/10 overall, a very great restaurant, highly recommended!!

Food was very tasty. There was soup free as a starter. Food came quickly. Even if the wrong thing was brought beforehand. Ambience is not really good. Next to us you could see everyone else's feet at the height of our heads.

So from start to finish everything is just first class. At the entrance there is a very friendly gentleman who greets you and leads you to the place. Then someone plays lots of songs and melodies on an accordion.🎵🎶 There's not much to say about the food, it's just unbelievably delicious and definitely worth a try😄👍😋 We will definitely visit it again 😋😊

Food was okay but absolutely not the best. When the waiter brought the food, he pulled a hair out of the food in front of his eyes, when you asked to get a new one he took it with him and didn't know anything about it a short time later, another waiter then brought the new food a short time later. The usher seemed a little pushy. Overall it was all very suspicious and with the steak the potatoes were cold and the steak was not medium rare but rather well done even though they had asked for it beforehand. Definitely not recommended.

Always worth a visit on holiday! There is always a planned route on every Baltic Sea holiday. The staff is friendly and Indian food is always good.

The food is really not tasty, the pizza looks like a ready-made pizza from the supermarket. I wanted to drink a mojito and after two sips it was already empty because there was more ice in it than anything else.

This evening we had dinner with a large group at the Indian Villa. The welcome from the waiters and the boss was very warm. The 9 of us got a nice table on the terrace. The restaurant is located next to the road to the beach, but we didn't find the traffic annoying. The terrace is elevated by some stairs and blocks out the noise. An accordion player and the owner, who took care of our wishes, provided good entertainment. The drinks were served quickly and a delicious soup was brought to us from the kitchen as a small greeting. Our meals were very tasty and plentiful. We were also asked if anyone would like a second helping. After paying we also got a small alcoholic drink on the house. The service and the food (we had many different dishes) were impeccable and we would be happy to come back.

There were 9 of us eating out for the first time today. The food is above average and very tasty, the staff is very friendly and the ambience is just right. I would like to give more stars. In any case, it wasn't the last time we were there.

Culinary roller coaster ride - Indian top :-) but Italian flop :-( Hmmmmm... At first we were asked quite demandingly to take a seat. Please give visitors the opportunity to get an overview first. Then after what feels like 3 minutes we should have already decided what we want to eat - again: give the guests time. The starter (unannounced and free) was very tasty and unfortunately the highlight of our visit. While the chicken curry was very tasty and filling, the pizza (Rustico) was absolute madness: we were given a frozen pizza as a basic base, which was pimped up with additional ingredients. I don't want to say that it was 100% certain that it was a frozen pizza - but it looked extremely like the real thing. The salami slices are arranged 99% symmetrically, the base is slightly pre-baked and the edge looks like it came out of a baking pan... that doesn't really have anything to do with Italian cuisine - you can do better than that, right? Even if you hardly see the tourists over time, being friendly doesn't cost anything.

Everything was perfect here. Rarely have we eaten and served so well on the island. The three of us with a 5 year old junior. I don't know when we sat down to dinner for 1 1/2. 5+ points for everything. Thanks again definitely again.

Four of us ate there and we all loved it. After we had a few disappointments in town (especially when it came to pizza), everything was just right here. We had both Indian and pizza. Everything was fresh and extremely tasty. Since we had to wait a little longer, we got a salad - even though we didn't complain at all - and the boss personally apologized. Conclusion: Food delicious Service nice Boss entertaining No rush Price absolutely reasonable No tourist rip-offs We would like to go there again.

Absolute failure! Waiting for over an hour, if you speak up you always get the answer, just a moment please. After we asked for the bill (for the drinks) without eating, we waited another quarter of an hour. Bad service and the food wasn't appealing either. In front of the restaurant they advertise dishes that they don't even offer.

Chicken curry and schnitzel tasted really good, but the meat had a strange consistency. Service was great, there was even a free starter soup. If it's raining, it's better to sit inside and accept a little rumbling in your stomach (after the chicken), but it doesn't always have to be that way.

The food, the ambience can only be recommended, the best address here on the island of Usedom. Don't go anywhere else, even for families with children. All the employees are super nice. Best food.

We smoked shisha on a Monday evening and Tuesday evening and the shisha was a 4 out of 5. The Indian food and pasta were very tasty. No digestive problems. The hygiene inside leaves a lot to be desired. The outside is clean and invites you to eat.

Dear waiters, good food and a good atmosphere! The restaurant had everything my heart could desire, and the waiters delivered your food pretty quickly. The best thing about the restaurant was there was a lot on house. This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites!

I have to say that the food is very tasty, the starter soup on the house afterwards, chicken fillet with mango/curry sauce and chilly/curry sauce with bread and basmati rice is highly recommended!!!! Very nice service and the best weather, what more could you want!!!

Really bad! Food was obviously frozen food. The asparagus with schnitzel consisted of 5 half small asparagus spears and the schnitzel was the size of a fist.

Spontaneously drove there and decided to stay outside (to eat), friendly, fast service - an extra request for Fanta with a small amount of beer was implemented well, all the dishes we requested were tasteful, plentiful and tasty 😋. Eating here was a good idea...if you love Indian cuisine you will like it.

While looking for a restaurant for dinner, we happened to come to the Indian Villa. We were warmly welcomed and were able to choose a seat in the busy restaurant. The ambience is perhaps a bit unusual. But the premises used to be a doctor's office. Therefore everything has a bit of living room charm. The waitress took our order quickly. The owner himself also came to the table and made a few jokes. The starter, a fish soup, was very tasty. My companion received a small greeting from the kitchen for free, as well as a sample of the vegetable soup. The main course was also very tasty. Everything fresh and carefully prepared. We also treat ourselves to dessert. And we could hear the cream being freshly whipped in the kitchen. All in all very tasty. The highlight was that there was a birthday present from the owner himself. Because he noticed that we had a birthday child with us. We can recommend this restaurant and would be happy to come back.

We had personally reserved a table for the evening in the afternoon. We got there on time, but it was closed.

Unfortunately only one star, but you can do so much with the store. You already have a good chatterbox on your doorstep. However, the food is not worth it, it's better to go to Edeka and buy and cook yourself. 🙂 Put the frozen buffers in the deep fryer. Chicken nuggets hard as a bone. The fries worked and the bread with tomatoes was okay too, but otherwise there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to food. I think skilled workers should be hired because women now have absolutely no desire for it. But child friendly 🤗

Unfortunately, because it was cold outside, we had to go inside. Totally unorganized, tables are too close and the staff serve in their private clothes. There are 1000 little klimbim things at the counter and it's untidy. Not to mention the toilets where “Cilid Bang” was still written on the sink when we visited. It seemed strange to us that the shop was empty at 6:30 p.m. on Easter Monday. On the subject of beer, I don't think it was Lübzer, because whoever serves Lübzer also has the glasses for it, whether large or small. In our case it wasn't like that. Once and never again! I don't understand why nobody is doing anything. I go to Zinnowitz every year and this shop is always open. So many bad recessions can't lie. We ate there ourselves 4 years ago... I still regret it today! Too bad about the money.

I expect a lot more from a restaurant in the front row... but when the menu already shows more than 40 dishes, I should have known... Interior just subterranean, dirty and not worthy of a restaurant... Bolognese without meat ... Schnitzel frozen goods (I cook that better with two broken arms) French fries half raw and bruschetta for €8.90 on flatbread (I've never seen that before and bruschetta is a protected name with solid ingredients and I can't find flatbread there). ..at the Italian restaurant on the beach for €7.50. If it at least tasted good but I think... I can only say the first and for me personally the last time. The friendliness of the employees is really positive

We ate here because there weren't any free tables left in any restaurant in Zinnowitz, except this one. It quickly became clear why. A restaurant full of junk and junk. The tables are decorated with ugly tablecloths and colorful napkins, and heavy curtains decorated with lavish patterns, ruffles and gimmicks hang on the windows. The service was nice but often overwhelmed. We waited forever for the menu. We didn't like the food at all, we could only eat the starter soup and the garlic bread. The prices are way too high. It is dirty and stuffy in this restaurant, we cannot recommend it. The outside area is also extremely unkempt. If you can, go to another restaurant! Attention: Card payment is NOT possible here!!!

Unfortunately I can't judge the food. According to the opening times on Google it should be open and there was no further information on the website. It's a shame, I went to this restaurant for nothing.

War schon sehr verramscht.. aber Service kaum zu überbieten... leider hat das Essen darunter gelitten und würden weder den Tiefkühlfisch noch das zähe Hähnchen weiter empfehlen... schade ...

Wir haben hier einen Tisch zum Geburtstag reserviert, welcher extra dekoriert wurde. Der Empfang und die Bedienung waren sehr herzlich, vor allem auch den Kindern gegenüber. Das Essen war gut, es gab nichts daran auszusetzen! Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend.

Einfach nur gruselig Kein freundlicher Empfang. Angestellte unfreundlich . Essen war einfach grauenhaft, lieblos auf den Teller geklatscht. Teller war schmutzig wurde nicht ausgetauscht wo ich darauf hingewiesen habe ... der Kellner mit seiner Hand drauf und dann würde der Dreck runter gekratzt. Chicken Curry ungenießbar wohl mehrmals erwärmt. Das Essen von meinen Partner war ebenfalls ungenießbar. Kartoffeln kalt und nicht gar ... der Fisch zu trocken. Das Restaurant war schmutzig und das Geschirr war bunt durcheinander da passte nichts zusammen. Vorweg wurde eine Reissuppe serviert ( null Geschmack) ohne das es erwünscht war ... aber abgezogen wurde es. Ich kann jeden nur raten einen ganz großen Bogen darum zu machen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service schon ein wenig kurios. Ei e Frau nimmt die Bestellung auf. Ein Mann bringt das fertige Essen herein, stellt es auf einen anderen Tisch ab und geht wieder. Kommt kurze Zeit später wieder rein. Verteilt es falsch und dann kommt ein Dritter und verteilt es richtig.

Wir waren im Kurzurlaub auf Usedom und abends hier essen. Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und wirklich lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Gemüse-Mix mit Curry-Sahne-Sauce. Wir kommen wieder.

Sensationell gutes Essen. Wir waren wirklich begeistert von der indischen Küche. Das Lamm-Curry war hervorragend angemacht und abgeschmeckt. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr nett. Vielen lieben Dank

Essen war okay,die Bedienung am Lock Punkt Eingang war sehr freundlich und sehr kinderlieb. Was für uns persönlich immer ein Pluspunkt ist,dann stimmt auch das Wohlfühlen. Wir mussten nur sehr lange auf das Essen warten und die Kids bekamen ihr Essen zum Schluss aber daran kann man ja arbeiten. Die Kinder wurden mit Geschenken verabschiedet alles im allen war es in Ordnung.

Kurios!!! Dubios!!! Nachbestellung kam nicht an und service hat kaum deutsch verstanden. Würde etwas anderes empfehlen.

Eigentlich 10 Sterne. Das Essen war hervorragend, leider gab es bei uns einen kleinen Medizinischen Vorfall, weswegen wir das Essen nur kurze Zeit genießen konnten. Die Bedienungen haben uns super schnell geholfen, uns Wasser gegeben und ständig nach uns geschaut. Als wir dann gehen wollten haben wir unser bestelltes Essen nochmal ganz frisch bekommen und konnten es mitnehmen und zuhause essen. Als Krönung hat der Chef uns dann sogar noch angeboten uns nach Hause zu fahren. Selten so liebe und hilfsbereite Menschen getroffen. Nochmal viel Dank für die Hilfe. 10 Sterne!

Jetzt ist das Essen immer ekelhaft. Seien Sie vorsichtig mit der Suppe. Es ist Lebensmittelverschwendung und Gemüse. Passen Sie auf alles auf. Ich verspreche Ihnen, dass der Restaurantleiter zur Rechenschaft gezogen und an die Justiz verwiesen wird. Ich arbeite hier seit drei Jahren mit fünf Mitgliedern meiner Familie. Das Fleisch ist ungesund, die Suppe auch Germy, ich rate dir, nicht zu gehen

Ich empfand den Besuch des Restaurants als ein Erlebnis. Bei vollem Haus kommt nun mal Stress auf. Trotz alle dem waren alle Mitarbeiter die uns betreut haben freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das indische Essen war sehr gut extra Reis gab es sofort ohne zusätzliche Berechnung.

Schließen einfach 1,5h vor ihren angegebenen Zeit ?!

Essen war sehr gut. Leider sind die Preise auf der Website veraltet (bspw. chicken curry 14,90, mittlerweile 18,90€). Wir haben eine Preiserhöhung von 20-30% bemerkt. Zusätzlich fehlen unserer Meinung nach Trennwände zwischen den Etagen, sodass man im unteren Sitzbereich permanent auf die Füße und Schuhe der anderen Gäste schaut… eher unappetitlich.

Das Personal war sehr bemüht um Gäste und sehr freundlich zu den Kindern. Dass es eine Suppe zu Anfang auf‘s Haus gibt, ist eine nette Geste. Die Suppe hat geschmeckt! Das Haupt-Essen war so lala: bei den Pizzen hatte man das Gefühl, es handle sich um Fertigpizzen und der Salat bestand fast ausschließlich aus Eisbergsalat, der etwas dekoriert wird mit bspw 3 Oliven, Mangososse und mit einigen (wenigen) gebratenen Hähnchenstückchen. Es war okay, kein Gaumenerlebnis und die Preise nicht gerechtfertigt.

Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nur Cocktails getrunken haben. Was viele hier reinschreiben, zum Thema unfreundliche Mitarbeiter, muss ich ein Fragezeichen hinterlegen. Die Service Mitarbeiter waren mehr als freundlich und die Preise waren auch sehr gut. Bitte hört nicht wenn andere auf höchsten Niveau meckern. Macht euch selber ein Bild davon.
