As a family with two children, ages nine and eleven, we spent a weekend in January at the Baltic Hotel. The sea view from our family suite was truly magnificent! We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets. The location right on the beach was extremely convenient, even in winter. We made full use of the Baltic's unique feature – its water park with two sauna areas, a thermal bath, and a large seawater swimming pool. We arrived by train. The walk from the train station to the hotel takes a manageable 10-15 minutes. We would love to come back!

New Year's Eve 2025/2026 was an expensive flop! I'm speaking on behalf of all the family members involved. My comments/criticisms have been agreed upon with them. Before I go into more detail about the offered New Year's Eve package for 2025/2026, I'd like to explain that we are all very aware of the amount of effort, dedication, commitment, and much more required to organize a New Year's Eve celebration of this scale. Our expectations were very high, as both my parents and my sister had already celebrated New Year's Eve 2023/2024 at your house and were absolutely thrilled. In contrast, this time we were all bitterly disappointed and therefore feel compelled to address several points of criticism. - Compared to the New Year's Eve program offered in 2023/2024, many program items were canceled without replacement. - The usual non-alcoholic drinks served with dinner could at least have been offered at the buffet (perhaps until 9:00 p.m.) on New Year's Eve. ... - The goulash soup and mulled wine service in the brasserie seemed very disorganized. With more staff, the long queue at the counter could have been avoided, for example. There was no option for children (non-alcoholic children's punch). The overall atmosphere was unpleasant (more like a train station waiting room). - Our booked room wasn't cleaned on New Year's Eve. Consequently, the small gifts from the hotel were also missing. After informing reception, we received the nice touches. Normally, we wouldn't have mentioned this as a complaint, but one thing led to another during our stay. - Our biggest complaint: The organization on New Year's Eve was completely unsatisfactory and very disappointing. We were seated in the Tallinn Restaurant and were the last to be able to go to the buffet until around 8:45 pm! Furthermore, we wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve properly and not spend another evening listening to the singing duo. The two musicians tried very hard to create a good atmosphere, but unfortunately, it didn't quite work. So we went to Andersen's Restaurant. Aside from the fact that we didn't have a seat there initially, we had to go back to our table in the Tallinn Room every time we wanted to order drinks and wait—sometimes for quite a while—for the server to come. This situation was very unpleasant, and the cozy New Year's Eve we had been looking forward to was ruined! The beautiful fireworks display only slightly eased our disappointment. - Furthermore, we were unfortunately unable to relax in the warm thermal baths during our entire stay (December 30, 2025, to January 2, 2026). Even after the wind died down on December 31, 2025 (which was the reason given to us), the thermal baths were unusable for us due to the very uncomfortable temperature ☹ - My parents' note: We are regular guests of your hotel and have always been very satisfied with our stays. And now this disappointment, which has saddened us greatly. Note from my parents: We are regular guests of your hotel and have always been very satisfied with our stays. And now this disappointment, which has made us very sad. ... The €3,000 for the three rooms and two nights was absolutely not worth it. The meal on New Year's Eve was good, but we don't understand why we had to pay another €500 for December 30th; the food was really nothing special. The €60 parking fee for two vehicles is outrageous! Our personal opinion: this place is solely about profit!

For many years, we have been regular guests at the Baltic Hotel. Now that my husband has passed away, I am staying there again with my children. Over the years, things have changed quite a bit in almost every area of the hotel. Not always for the better; much, indeed most, has gotten worse. For example, the "thermal bath" is very cold at 27°C. And the struggle to get a second bath towel is unacceptable for a hotel of this size. At breakfast, I miss the good old thermos flask, and the price of €38.00 for the evening buffet is simply ridiculous. The buffet is in no way worth that price. I also very much miss the smoking lounge, but I suppose it died with old Mr. Dornbusch.

We've stayed at the Baltic many times, but unfortunately, its condition is steadily deteriorating. We booked for three nights with breakfast included. The evening buffet would have cost €38, which, after a quick glance, wasn't worth the price. The separate restaurant, however, is highly recommended. Everything is freshly prepared by truly well-trained staff. Unfortunately, the thermal pool, at 27 degrees Celsius, isn't exactly a highlight either. To make matters worse, you have to request a fresh towel for room cleaning by 2 p.m. the day before. And no, not a second towel for the bath, but the one from your room. So you end up running upstairs with your soaking wet towel to shower, only to have to rub yourself down again with the wet towel. A hairdryer is still an option. All in all, a lot needs to be done these days, especially making guests feel welcome.

Good hotel, rooms functional, a kettle would be great if someone wanted a coffee/tea during the day. The restaurant only had two coffee machines, clearly not enough. Signage to the different areas like the restaurant, thermal baths, etc., was lacking. Unfortunately, the thermal baths were too cold, hence the deduction in the rating.

The rooms are functional, bright, and clean. The view is lovely, and everything is well-maintained. Unfortunately, vacuuming starts in the hallway at 8:00 AM, and it's clearly audible in bed. Breakfast is good. Sadly, there's no longer any espresso from the coffee bar. Why? No one could explain. Two vending machines with a queue, plus a pump pot like you'd find at a summer camp, had to suffice. Unfortunately, this year too, the water in the thermal baths was colder than the swimming pool, at 27 degrees Celsius. We already noticed this negatively at the turn of the year 2024/25. Back then, we were told the heating was broken... is it broken again now? Or is it just a general cost-cutting measure? This has little to do with a thermal bath, and after two years in a row, we find it unacceptable. The discussion with the staff about whether it hadn't been just as cold last year was also unacceptable...

We booked here over Christmas and regretted it on the very first day. The room furnishings were minimal. No safe, no refrigerator for drinks. The thermal baths: the water and air weren't really warm, the outdoor area was closed, and while bathing, you were afraid of getting pieces of the ceiling on your head (see photos). At mealtimes, you're assigned a table for eight, where, as a young couple, you're crammed in among people over 80 who loudly discuss their aches and pains and "the good old days." The staff's only comments are things like, "Nothing can be done about it" and "I didn't make the seating arrangements." The food itself was very good, but you had to be lucky enough to actually get a plate.

It was a decent hotel overall. The breakfast was really great. Be prepared to pay extra for the spa area. It wasn't much, but we expected it to be included in the price. Parking costs €15 per day, even in the off-season. We had a double bed, but there was also a bunk bed in there, which was kind of annoying. Cleanliness was okay. In some places, the sauna area looks like they just created a relaxation room to say they have one. It's not relaxing at all. There was also a slight smell of urine in parts of the sauna area.

The service has unfortunately deteriorated significantly. As someone with allergies, you rely on specialists, who either don't seem to be available here or are deliberately hidden. At first, we were quite impressed with the room. The bunk bed for our son was definitely a highlight. The cleanliness was also fine. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful. The dining room was quite large and noisy, considering the circumstances. However, this isn't a criticism, as it can't be changed. Breakfast was okay. But dinner was rather disappointing. The salad bar was good, but the "hot" dishes could definitely be better. The selection of dishes was also consistently the same. The hotel's location is, of course, ideal. The swimming pool is perfectly fine, but you can tell that it's starting to need some renovations.

Completely undervalued. The hotel, and especially the spa and wellness facilities, were so much better than described. I'll take the time to provide some more information; I hope it helps you, it would have helped me. 😅 There are two pool areas and two sauna areas. 1. The thermal pool (around 32 degrees Celsius), with an outdoor area, is really cool. Especially now in winter, it's wonderful to swim in the warm water with this air. Around the pool are nice loungers and beach chairs with pleasant lighting, plus a small bar. Following the corridor inside, you reach the "beach sauna," a separate sauna building with beach access 😍 It cost us an extra €3 per person per day. There are four saunas there: a steam room, a 60-degree sauna, an 80-degree sauna with two infusions per day, and a 90-degree sauna. There's also a small plunge pool and several nice relaxation rooms, some with sea views. We even went for a dip in the Baltic Sea after the sauna – a wonderful experience at a water temperature of 6 degrees Celsius 🥶🤩 2. Then there's the seawater pool (around 28 degrees Celsius), which is well described on the website. It has a cool slide, a climbing tower by the water, proper swimming lanes, and a non-swimmer area. Within this area, there are two separate small dry saunas (for us, it was an extra €3 per person per day) at 80 and 90 degrees Celsius, a lovely plunge pool (warmer than a plunge pool, but refreshing), and a few loungers. Furthermore: The room was great, the breakfast was solidly good, and the service was good. An extra coffee machine wouldn't hurt. 😬 Dinner: We would have had to make reservations for dinner everywhere (!) in Zinnowitz (we didn't know this), as there were far too few restaurants open for the number of tourists. The 90-minute search for a dinner spot dampened our otherwise excellent mood a bit, but we ended up having a very good meal in the hotel's brasserie – with an announced one-hour wait. Perhaps you could reconsider your staffing levels. 🙏 The lobby and common areas are very spacious and inviting, with a living room atmosphere – very nice. The rooms were also great; we had two suites for two families, with plenty of space and storage – fantastic! The sea view was lovely, and the beach and sea were just a one-minute walk away – superb. Parking was good, although a charging station would have been nice (we were able to use the one next door without any problems). In short: We would love to come back again!

Professionally managed wellness facilities, but significant shortcomings in service and operational management. This was our second stay at the Baltic Zinnowitz, as we were extremely impressed with our visit two years ago. It is all the more regrettable, therefore, to find that several organizational issues have not improved in the meantime, but rather deteriorated considerably – despite being regularly mentioned in guest reviews for quite some time. Positive aspects: The hotel boasts a spacious wellness and bathing area with a diverse and well-maintained sauna complex – undoubtedly the hotel's strongest selling point. The service staff in the dining room are consistently polite, attentive, and professional. The younger employees at reception also impress with their friendliness and customer focus. Our room was bright, quiet, and functional. The lobby and lounge areas are attractively designed. The breakfast is plentiful and of good quality; the included drinks with dinner are also satisfactory. Negative aspects / Areas for improvement: An older receptionist (A.S.) was rather unfriendly to us – as he had been during our last stay. The staff's approach makes guests feel like a nuisance. In a hotel of this size and category, this is a serious service issue. The towel and wristband system in the spa is unnecessarily complicated: bathrobes are provided in the room, but no spa towels. After 6 p.m., there are no more towels in the spa, even though it's staffed. Ordering towels through reception replaces the room towels – inefficient and opaque. Wristbands are not issued at check-in but must be picked up separately. Furthermore: No electric vehicle charging stations despite the vast parking area – outdated. Toiletries in the room were empty upon arrival. The breakfast room is overcrowded when the hotel is full; there are too few coffee machines, sometimes resulting in a 20-minute wait. Dinner (half-board) is of decent quality, but offers very little variety: the same fish every day, mostly pork, and little creativity – even in the dessert, which consists almost entirely of creams served in glasses. ... Housekeeping knocked at 9:20 a.m., even though check-out wasn't until 11:00 a.m. No kettle in the room. Conclusion: A hotel with a great spa area and dedicated service staff, but its organizational shortcomings are becoming increasingly noticeable. Since several of the points mentioned have been criticized by guests for years without any visible improvements, rebooking doesn't seem worthwhile at the moment. The hotel has great potential – unfortunately, it's only being partially realized.

We stayed at the Baltic Hotel for a week and enjoyed it very much. The breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful, with something to suit every taste. A complimentary bottle of mineral water in the room every day was a wonderful touch and not something you can take for granted. The two swimming pools were also fantastic. The restaurant staff were very accommodating to our requests, and we even had a beautifully decorated table for my husband's birthday. A safe and perhaps a small refrigerator would be nice additions. The parking fees are a bit high. Otherwise, it was a lovely holiday. We would gladly stay again.

For a short break – which we also booked with our dog – this hotel is definitely recommended! The Asian (Vietnamese?) staff deserve special praise. However, the parking fees (€15/day) and dog fees (€25/day!!) are too high. During our stay, the bad habit of reserving tables became increasingly common, so we had to wait for a free table twice! Not very pleasant! The food could be more varied, especially in the evenings, but it's still tolerable for a short break. In our opinion, the water temperature in the thermal baths could be a bit warmer. The hotel pub is highly recommended and reasonably priced... otherwise, please enjoy the peace and quiet of the hotel and the town – especially in November!! Overall, good value for money.

The beachfront location is priceless, but the rooms facing inland are also okay. The charm of this former uranium bunker is undeniable, as is its struggle against the ravages of time. The staff were all friendly, and while breakfast was the same every day, it offered some variety. However, dinner for a mere €38 including one drink isn't worth the money. Room service is lacking; towels weren't changed. The bathroom tiles are incredibly slippery, so be careful. Some rooms have a safe, but there probably aren't enough for everyone. You don't have to eat dinner at the hotel; it's not worth the price.

A very good hotel with a large room and a direct view of the Baltic Sea if you booked a sea-view room. A small safe in the room would have been a plus, but unfortunately, there wasn't one. The breakfast was excellent. Everything at the buffet was constantly replenished. The staff was very friendly. There's a cozy hotel bar. The seawater pool belongs to the hotel, and bathrobes were already in the room upon arrival. There is ample parking available on-site, although not all spaces are directly at the hotel; some are less than 100 meters away. The fee of €15 per day seemed a bit steep, especially since parking spaces next door cost only half as much. Entering the parking lot is somewhat complicated, particularly when other vehicles are parked there while loading and unloading. Otherwise, the hotel is highly recommended. A lovely hotel for a short break. The breakfast buffet was varied, with a nice selection of fresh fruit. Window seats even offered a view of the Baltic Sea. The spa area is great, and the outdoor pool is pleasantly warm. A bus service to and from the train station would be a welcome addition. Zinnowitz itself isn't so great in November, unfortunately. Beautifully furnished rooms. Good cleaning service. Only the service at the hotel bar (ground floor) left much to be desired. I was left standing for ages before I was finally served. They were certainly busy, but they could have at least brought me my coffee quickly. I waited a quarter of an hour. It was the same the evening before with the Aperol I ordered; far too little service for so many guests. They're cutting costs everywhere. You also have to be careful on the roads. The local drivers with VG license plates show NO consideration for tourists, unless they own a hotel or holiday home. They're aggressive with their following distance, tailgate, and overtake where it's prohibited. But it has always been a holiday island, even during the GDR era. Prussia and Saxony—it's a complicated situation, and you still feel it every day, even at the hotel when certain employees are at reception. VERY UNFRIENDLY, NO SMILES. On the other hand, the food at Pier 14 was fantastic. Very friendly service, beautifully presented, be sure to order the dessert: Ode to Joy. It was truly wonderful, simply amazing.

Update November 4, 2025 While our short break always began with a friendly welcome, this time we had a completely different experience. The gentleman at reception was brimming with arrogance, and one got the impression that he treated guests differently. The rest of the staff were as friendly and attentive as ever. The breakfast and dinner buffets were as good as usual. 👍 —————————————————————————— I'm writing this review halfway through my visit. Reception welcome: friendly and competent. Nothing negative to report here. My room was tidy, clean, and a good size. A welcome bottle of sparkling wine and water were provided. Unfortunately, there was no refrigerator, and the Wi-Fi in the room was poor to nonexistent. The room itself was, as mentioned, clean but also showing its age (see photos). One window is difficult to open. But that's a minor complaint. Food and buffet: Sufficient selection at the breakfast and dinner buffets. In the evenings, the hot dishes are often too cold. Potatoes are almost raw, and tortellini (both white and green) are undercooked. I informed the staff, and they acknowledged it. To be fair, the buffet is otherwise good, and much of the food is very tasty! The biggest problem, however, is finding a free table. It would probably be more convenient to assign a table to each room. The thermal baths are, of course, the highlight! However, getting there is like navigating a labyrinth. There are many signs that only become helpful once you've found your way. But that's really the only drawback. The thermal baths are fantastic in every respect. Clean and well-maintained, they have everything you need to enjoy a whole day. I think the location is absolutely superb! It's on the outskirts of Zinnowitz, and the pier and town center are easily reachable on foot in just a few minutes. What I find completely unacceptable, however, is the parking situation. You're practically forced to book a parking space, and the hotel's own parking lot costs €15 per day. For an open-air parking space, no parking garage, etc. If it snows, the car will be snowed in or iced over! In summer, it will be scorched. As I said, the thermal baths make up for a lot, and the owners are well aware of that. Would I come back again? Yes, quite likely. Many thanks to the staff.

We arrived on October 22nd. I'm not sure if the receptionist was having a bad day or if he's generally unfriendly, but we didn't feel particularly welcome. Questions were answered very curtly, and we didn't receive the tokens for the thermal baths at check-in. Instead, we were told to come back when we actually wanted to use the baths. Sorry, but I'm not keen on standing at reception in my bathrobe. Why not just give us the wristbands from the start? Regarding the service in general: the restaurant staff are fantastic. Attentive, helpful, and always smiling, even when it's busy. The staff who constantly restocked the buffet, as well as the kitchen staff, were all excellent. We can't say much about the room service. Sometimes it was cleaned (superficially), and sometimes not. The thermal baths have unfortunately seen better days, but we still had a lot of fun and were able to relax. Especially in the mornings, we often had the water completely to ourselves. The swimming lanes upstairs are also very nice if you want to get some exercise. Great! We booked through a special offer and wanted to book again, but the hotel's own prices were much, much higher and not really justified. So, unfortunately, we probably won't be coming back.

Beautiful hotel directly on the Baltic Sea. Overall, you feel very comfortable, and the passageway in the basement to the Baltic Therme is very pleasant. The thermal baths can be used free of charge by hotel guests until 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, some guests mistake the thermal baths for a water park... Everyone will find something delicious to eat at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast times are convenient: from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM (though the coffee from the vending machine isn't so great). The rooms are clean and functionally furnished. A free bottle of mineral water is delivered to your room every day. The rooms are generally quiet; except for the sounds of other guests slamming their doors... (I had a room on the 6th floor overlooking the parking lot). The hotel is located directly on the beach promenade. The beach is just a few meters away. During the day, the hotel has a bistro where you can enjoy delicious and affordable food, along with freshly tapped beer. However, I find the parking fee of €15 per day too high, as the parking lot is also uncovered. Unfortunately, the rooms don't have kettles or capsule coffee machines, as is common in many good hotels these days. The staff are always friendly and helpful. However, the hotel does have a high turnover of guests (bus tours).

We had a lovely stay. The room was okay, the wardrobe could have been a bit higher, and the step into the bathroom took some getting used to. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. It was just a bit difficult to find a free table at times. The waitresses were always very helpful, though.

The pool and sauna area is large and adequate. However, it's dated and somewhat poorly furnished. The sauna loungers are hard and not suitable for older people. We had half board, and it was good and adequate. The Edvards Bar is very attractive and very charming. The staff are very nice and friendly.

The Baltic is good for a family vacation. The location is great, right on the beach, and the indoor swimming pool is shared. The facilities are a bit dated. The service left something to be desired in some areas. The rooms were unfortunately not very clean. Many of the staff speak foreign languages, which leads to communication problems. The fitness room is not well equipped. Some of the equipment was broken. I often felt that the friendliness and service orientation was lacking. The in-house restaurant is very busy at breakfast, and the service is too slow when clearing tables. The reception staff was simply not friendly! Check-in was very brief and curt – but not in a good way – no smile, hardly any explanations. When I asked a question, I was even reprimanded for not getting in the right line. That's unacceptable. You can clearly see that the staff here are not trained. Parking is an additional charge – €15 per day. These are many factors that make the price-performance ratio unacceptable for me. The room price cannot be justified solely by the location. Compared to other hotels with the same amenities and in the same category, the Baltic certainly doesn't fare well.

Booked all-inclusive, didn't get it. Instead of giving AI guests wristbands so they can access their paid services in the other bars, they make them queue up in the dining room for every juice and coffee. Never experienced anything like that before. Bringing drinks? Not with the dining room staff. Unfortunately, it's forbidden! The lunch buffet was melon, soup, and potatoes with cordon bleu. That's not a buffet. Parking and sauna cost extra. No massages can be booked. That's what makes a vacation fun, isn't it? People, with such bad weather (no one can do this), why don't you hire three more people so that everyone can at least have a good time in the spa area? What a lack of service. The childcare is also a joke; there was nothing for our 10-year-old. 1.5 hours each in the morning and afternoon, but not without prior notice. Spontaneity on vacation? Nonsense. Never again! My husband then took her to the gym, but they were chased away (there was no one there except them, and they would have felt disturbed). Paid so much money and got nothing. Not even a decent room, and three people in a small space didn't really create a holiday feeling. Look at the neighboring countries for service!

We stayed at this hotel for a week. Our arrival was very pleasant. Parking directly in front of the hotel is very expensive at only €15 per day. It's a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, the wellness area is a bit dated. The kids had a great time, though. The restaurant offered a wide selection for breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, we felt it had declined compared to last year. Thank you for this stay.

We would like to start by thanking the entire team. From the kind receptionists, to the hotel management and local employees, to the trainees from several countries around the world. The stay was very pleasant, the hotel is located right on the beach behind the dune and the promenade, and from the upper floors there is a beautiful view of the sea directly from the room. The food was always tasty, sufficient and varied. Everywhere was clean. In bad weather, it is possible to use the wonderful swimming pools with sea or thermal water. Parking is available. There was always a free space. It is only a short walk to the city center. Evenings in both the Pub and the Tanz bar were accompanied by music. The hotel surroundings are also regularly maintained. We will definitely not forget the pleasantly spent moments and we will definitely return.

It's a large hotel with a certain charm. Very unassuming from the outside. Inside (entrance hall, seating areas, dining room) it seems a bit stuck in time. But everything is clean and well-maintained. The rooms are great. Especially great with a child. They have their own bunk bed. However, they should be a certain age for that, as the ladder takes some getting used to. The room cleaning is rather mediocre; there's room for improvement. We booked all-inclusive. That's definitely unnecessary. Never again!!! Half board plus is perfectly sufficient. It's better to get something small for lunch. Lunch is rather a disservice. There was a salad (if that), a soup, and a hot dish. Everything was always very spicy and very special. And the nice alternative for children (just fries) is also worth skipping. The breakfast was excellent: a large selection of fruit, spreads, sausage, cheese, rolls, etc. You can't complain about that. Dinner took some getting used to. Luckily, everyone's tastes differ. There were dishes that were always the same (fish, cold cuts, desserts), while others changed. But some were overly seasoned and strangely mixed together. Luckily, there was salad. If you wanted to ask someone something, it was almost impossible. German is spoken very little to not at all in the dining room. A major drawback, and I would deduct more stars for that. The dishes aren't adequately labeled. It only says what they are, and sometimes you can see that something with soy or something like that is written at the bottom. But the actual ingredients were missing. What's in the casserole, for example. A real risk for allergy sufferers. And, as I said, when asked, there was no real answer. Since hardly anyone understands anything. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful. The guest relations manager was great. She organized everything, helped us a lot, and supported us. She was very helpful. But also limited in her abilities. It would be great for the guest if the problems/difficulties could be resolved. Which wasn't always the case. The thermal baths are great. They just need a renovation. The location to the beach and into town is fantastic. Overall, a hotel with some 80s charm. Not really suitable for a fussy child. It's a waste of money, considering it's already quite expensive.

This was our first time at the Baltic Sport and Holiday Hotel and we were thrilled. It's beautifully located, right on the promenade, just a few meters from the beach, very quiet and relaxing. The reception was very friendly, and check-in went smoothly. We had a room with a sea view on the 6th floor, which offered a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. Our room was very clean and functionally furnished (plenty of storage space). The bathroom is a bit small, but adequate. Breakfast and dinner were very varied and delicious. The staff were very prompt and accommodating. High praise! We went to the Bernsteintherme every day, a highlight of the hotel and highly recommended! Long walks on the beach and along the promenade contributed to our relaxation. We spent four wonderful days on holiday and will definitely recommend the Baltic. Best regards, the Köchele family

A lot has changed since our last stay. We were surprised by a few things, both positive and negative. The bathroom was new and had a large shower. Great! I think parking at 15 euros per day/night is a bit excessive. The price-performance ratio has increased considerably for the same service. It's a shame. 38 euros per person for the evening buffet, which you can book later, is pretty steep. Otherwise, the thermal baths were once again really relaxing. The staff were very friendly. In the end, I have to say that not being able to check into the room until 4 p.m. was not very nice, even though we had been promised 3 p.m. at the latest. We were already at the hotel by 1 p.m.

We were there from May 20th to May 24th, 2025. The reception was very courteous, and all our questions were answered immediately. The rooms were solidly furnished; everything was clean and functional. We booked breakfast and dinner, which were varied and absolutely delicious. In the evening, you could order cocktails or other drinks at the bar if you wanted, which made it easy to meet other guests. We met a really great group from Brandenburg (Lobetal Foundation) who were vacationing there with people with disabilities. We and other guests were impressed by the openness and empathy of these carers. Such a fun group! While this certainly doesn't belong in this review, it must be mentioned that this hotel is also fully geared towards people with disabilities. We will definitely be back.

We spent a weekend in Zinnowitz and stayed at the Baltic for the first time. The reception was very friendly at check-in. The rooms are functionally furnished and very clean, thumbs up for the service 👍🏼 The hotel's location is very good, right on the promenade and the beach. The best part, however, is the hotel's thermal spa. There are two different areas and an outdoor pool. The temperatures were very pleasant, and the entire thermal spa area was really clean and tidy. We unconditionally recommend the Baltic, including the Bernstein Thermal Spa! To the entire team, keep up the good work! Thank you for the wonderful weekend!

Let me preface this by saying: The service couldn't make up for the disappointment, so it's still only one star! We arrived with high expectations after seeing the advertisement and left deeply disappointed. The restaurant was sparsely populated, yet we still had to wait almost 40 minutes for our duck. It looked reasonably good, even if the presentation bore little resemblance to the photos in the advertisement. The duck was supposed to be crispy, tender, and satisfying! The red cabbage with cherries was okay, albeit very watery. The so-called "Kaiserklöße" (Emperor's dumplings) were Thuringian-style dumplings with one or two pieces of unprocessed white bread, meaning they weren't toasted. And the duck? What a waste of meat. We received half a duck, cut into pieces, but it was neither crispy nor tender. The leg was just about edible, but the breast and wings were inedible—the meat was so tough and dry. Because it had been cut into pieces, the edges were very dark and dried out. I ended up packing it up and taking it home for my dogs. The "gravy" was a small tureen of pre-mixed gravy mix that bore no resemblance to the taste of duck. It was so thick and lumpy that it became impossible to pour after a while. It was a complete disaster. To top it all off, the experience was marred by the island's exorbitant price of €6.20 for a 0.4l Pepsi-Cola. A blatant outrage! If you can manage it, don't fall for the enticing advertising and steer clear of this restaurant!

We waited almost half an hour for anyone to pay any attention. We even asked if we could order something. We were told to please wait a moment. And the place wasn't exactly busy. We were just about to leave when she finally came. We had ordered two ice cream sundaes, a coffee, and a Coke. It took another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. It took about 25 minutes for the ice cream to arrive. When we wanted to pay, I was suddenly asked to pay the bill from the person before us... The atmosphere was nice. The service was a complete disaster. The ice cream and drinks were also okay. And in the background, the music was just as terrible and got louder and louder.
