Düne Strandbistro in Zinnowitz

Kulinarische Wonne trifft auf ideologische Dystopie Das Essen war wirklich dufte, da beißt die Maus keen Faden ab. Handwerklich absolut solide, geschmacklich eine Eins mit Sternchen – man hätte hier eigentlich glücklich und satt rausrollen können. Aber der Service, meine Damen und Herren, war eine emotionale Achterbahnfahrt der ganz bizarren Sorte. Ein echtes Kammerspiel der Gegensätze. Auf der einen Seite hatten wir eine Bedienung, die so zuckersüß, kompetent und zuvorkommend war, dass man kurz wieder an die soziale Wärme in der Gastronomie geglaubt hat. Richtig nett, dit Herz am rechten Fleck – also im rein anatomischen, guten Sinne. Und dann kam das Kontrastprogramm. Die Kollegin mit den kurzen Haaren. Man guckt so hin und denkt erst: Mensch, wat hat die denn da für ein interessantes geometrisches Muster tätowiert? Ein verunglücktes Riesenrad? Nein, es war eine „Schwarze Sonne“. Da fasst man sich doch fasziniert an den Kopf. Das Symbol ist ja nun nicht mehr nur „ein bisschen rechts außen“, das ist der ganz tiefe, braune Sumpf im permanenten Ausnahmezustand. Das wirklich Faszinierende war, wie konsequent sie diese politische Haltung in ihre Dienstleistungsphilosophie integriert hat. Keine Spur von Gastfreundschaft. Das war gelebte, aktive Ausgrenzung – und zwar gegenüber jedem, der es wagte, einen Tisch zu bestellen. Ein absolut reibungsloser Mangel an Empathie, verpackt in eine visuelle und serviceorientierte Verweigerungshaltung. Ganz ehrlich: Wäre diese Dame mit dem historisch maximal fragwürdigen Körperschmuck nicht gewesen, es wäre ein fantastischer Abend geworden. So hat sie uns den Aufenthalt komplett versaut. Da bleibt einem der Bissen glatt im Halse stecken, wa. Das Zeugnis Die Küche: Großartig. Kann man absolut nix sagen. Service Kraft A: Ein Engel. Herzlich, flink und professionell. Service Kraft B: Eine historische Grenzerfahrung. Wenn die Weltanschauung so finster ist, dass das Essen daneben verblasst, läuft irgendwas gewaltig schief.

Waren am 03.10.25 hier wieder zum Essen. Eigentlich war fast alles wieder top. Nur das Sauerkraut hatte einen merkwürdigen Geschmack und war nur kalt bis lau. Machte sich bei mir auch am anderen bemerkbar. Dort bestimmt kein Sauerkraut mehr. Kann ich nur von abraten! Bedienung war auf ihre Art freundlich und aufmerksam. Ist so eine sache mit den Sternen 🌟. Ok, wir waren am 05.09.25 im Restaurant und wurden von einem freundlichen und netten Mitarbeiter bedient. Der auch mal einen Spaß verstand. Preis Leistung eigentlich ok, nur die Nudeln mit Arabiata für 14.90 Euro waren etwas zu teuer. Geschmacklich aber alles top. Hier gibt es von uns 5 🌟. Am 06.09.25 waren wir am Imbiss. 3 Mitarbeiter und die sahen schon so richtig lustlos aus. Meine Frau bestellt 2 Sachen und ich noch das was dazu kommen sollte. Der Typ mit dem Basecap kassierte nur die Pommes 🍟 ( 4.00 Euro für eine kleine Schale und die war noch nicht einmal voll. Zu teuer) Und die 3 Cola ab. Das andere wurde ja nicht bestellt. Also nächster Versuch! Bestellt eine Bratwurst und bevor ich noch etwas sagen konnte, nannte er schon den Peis. Die Krakauer bekam ich dann doch noch. Preis für die 2 Würste ok. Von den dreien, durfte einer arbeiten. Das schöne war, um so ruhiger ich wurde, um so aggressiver und lauter wurde Mr. Basecap. Mit einem Basecap hinter dem Tresen?! Der Imbiss bekommt von uns für diese Kundenfreundlichkeit 0 Sterne Am Abend wollte unsere Enkelin noch einen Backfisch haben. Dort war anderes Personal und auch hier wurde man freundlich bedient. Backfisch und Brötchen waren top. 7.50 Euro . Kann man geteilter Meinung sein. Hier geben wir gerne auch 5 Sterne 🌟. Empfehlen tuen wir nur das Restaurant und den Fischbröttchen Verkauf. Der Inhaber dieser Gastronomie, sollte sich mal in aller Ruhe die Rezensionen ansehen und das Personal im Imbiss austauschen.

Sehr enttäuschend, die Portionen am Bistro-Grill sind in Kindergröße, Freundlichkeit wird hier auch nicht gerade groß geschrieben. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt dafür gar nicht. Die Fischfrikadelle im Brötchen, die es gleich am Fenster neben dem Grill gibt, ist einfach ekelhaft, undefinierbarer matschiger Inhalt, wie eine "Gut und günstig" Tiefkühlfrikadelle in einem Billig-Brötchen. Für uns das erste und letzte Mal, schade...

Portion Pommes für 4€ ist unglaublich klein und wenig - schöne Touristenabzocke! Geschmeckt haben sie auch nicht.

Das haben wir in dieser Form noch nicht erlebt - beschimpft seine Mitarbeiter im Beisein von Gästen, schreit diese an und benimmt sich so, wie sich ein Chef niemals benehmen darf. "You motherf***ng stupid monkey" ist entweder der normale Umgang in diesem Imbiss oder der Beweis, dass man Personalführung lernen sollte und bis dahin diesen Imbiss so weit wie möglich meiden sollte!!!

Die Matjesbrötchen waren in Ordnung. Jedoch hätte der Hering mürber sein können , zumal es sich um Sherrymatjes handelte. Die Brötchen wurden frisch zubereitet. Update 2026! Der Matjes ist jetzt mürber und auch ein Salatblatt als Deko kam dazu!

Wir haben hier „nur“ ein Fischbrötchen gegessen - aber das war richtig lecker.

Das Eis kann ich leider nicht empfehlen. Wässrig mit viel Zucker.

Das Essen war auf dem Niveau von einem mittelmäßigen Imbiss. Preise völlig überteuert. Service zwar schnell, aber nicht sehr freundlich. Einmal und nicht wieder!

Es ist natürlich kein 5 Sterne Restaurant aber was es alles gibt ist okay. Der Preis ist angemessen aber eher zu hoch im Bereich wo man bedient wird. Vorsicht ist geboten vor den Möwen. Die versuchen einem das Fischbrötchen zu klauen! Die kommen von hinten und erschrecken damit die Leute oder klauen tatsächlich den Fisch aus dem Brötchen. Hab ich selbst gesehen. Meins hab ich gut gesichert, deswegen hatte die Möwe keine Chance. 😅

Haben Dorsch und Zander mit Bratkartoffeln gegessen. Der Fisch war völlig Geschmacklos. Hier wurden die Gewürze total vergessen und die Bratkartoffeln waren total fettig. Preis / Leistung sollte hier dringend überprüft werden. Der Service war soweit gut und auf Zack. Nur in Punkto Freundlichkeit ist noch Luft nach oben.

Bisher im dort Fischbrötchen gegessen, stets frisch zubereitet, nicht schon den halben Tag in der Auslagen. Backfisch auch stets frisch und vorallem Fisch und nicht nur Panade. Service sehr nette freundliche Bedienung. Ich bewerte hier nur den Fischstand, Freisitz und Imbiss habe keine Erfahrung, sieht aber alles auch sehr lecker aus.

Leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Kann man immer vorbeischauen wenn man in der nähe ist. Mein Favorit ist der Backfisch, nicht zu vergleichen mit den Weihnachtsmarktkrücken XD

Während unserer Urlaubswoche in Zinnowitz waren wir täglich im Strandbistro. Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt, Essen und Eis waren mega lecker und alle Servicekräfte freundlich und engagiert. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir Katleen. Besser geht es nicht. Sie war super nett, umsichtig, flink, sehr engagiert und einfach eine tolle Person. Sie hat uns den Urlaub auf jeden Fall verschönt und zum Wohlbefinden beigetragen. Danke dafür! Und wir wünschen viele nette und zufriedene Gäste. Nora und Peter

Bei meinem Lachsbrötchen war der Lachs ungenießbar weil er übersalzen war, der salat schon gelb-bräunlich war und da der Lachs ebenso meeresspuren enthielt. Allgemein eine Frechheit so etwas Leuten anzubieten. Eine maßlose Enttäuschung.

Wir waren dort mit unserem Hund,um kurz ein Getränk zu nehmen und daraus wurden 2...warum? Weil es eine sehr schöne Aussicht gab,wir mit anderen Menschen ins Gespräch kamen und das pulsierende Kommen und gehen auf der Seebrücke beobachteten. Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung ,(sie mag etwas knurrig wirken) das man sich dort länger aufhält. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Einzig die Lage ist toll - das wars aber auch. Wieder ein Lokal wo uns gezeigt wird wie willkommen Kinder in unserem Land sind..auch als Fisch-Imbiss mlt Kindergerichten erwarte ich mehr und kann so nicht verstehen was so schwer ist 10 Minuten lang frische Nudeln zu kochen. Stattdessen haben wir alte, knochenharte trockene Nudeln bekommen wo man erst denkt das sie frittiert wurden. Kellnerin hat nur komisch geguckt als wir drauf hinwiesen

Wenn wir in Zinnowitz sind, ist unser erster Weg hier hin allein schon wg der super guten Kellnerin die die Terrasse sowas von im Griff hat 👍🏻 und natürlich wg den legga Sarti Sprizz und dem Essen. Preis/ Leistung ist hier einfach ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ wert..

In erster Lage kann man sich hier leisten unfreundlich zu sein . Die Kellnerin heute geht zum lachen in den Keller. Man merkt ihr richtig an , daß Sie keinen Spaß an ihrer Arbeit hat . Die Erdbeeren in der Erdbeerbowle waren alles andere als frisch. Leute hier bezahlt ihr nur die gute Lage von diesem Lokal.

Kaffee, der am Fenster bestellt wird, darf nicht im Garten verzehrt werden. Es gibt keine Informationen darüber, wo man die Bestellung aufgeben kann.

Sehr unfreundlicher Service. Wollte nach dem Kauf eines Kaffees (5 €) die Toilette nutzen, was mir sehr schroff verweigert wurde (angeblich nur für Terrassengäste). Der Kaffee schmeckt zudem auch nicht. Ich habe für meinen Einkauf auch keinen Beleg erhalten.

Super leckeres Essen und eine tolle und nette Bedienung. Man kann es nur empfehlen.

Das Essen war ganz gut aber zu kalt

Ein Stern ist leider noch zu viel. In einem Moment ist man zahlender Gast und im nächsten Moment einfach nur noch geschockt. Wir haben hier mit vier Personen und einem Kind Getränke und eine kleine Speise verzehrt. Service war okay. Der Hammer kam jedoch, als wir uns auf den Rückweg machten. Wir hatten ein vierjähriges Kind dabei. Da es mit dem Wind usw. noch etwas frisch war, war sie dick eingepackt. Die Kleine rannte fröhlich zur Auslage, wo die Eissorten ausgesucht werden können. Guckte durch die Scheibe und war einfach fasziniert. Leider sah das nicht jeder so. Der "nette" Herr in dem Bistro sagte zu uns, sie soll bitte nicht an die Scheibe lehnen, schließlich wäre sie ja so stämmig. Bitte was? Ist das ihr Ernst ein kleines Kind als stämmig zu bezeichnen? Selbst wenn sie es wäre, was sie nicht ist, wie kommt man bitte als erwachsener Mann dazu, soetwas zu einem kleinen Kind zu sagen? Wir waren definitiv das letzte Mal hier. Künftig würden wir überall anders unser Geld lieber lassen, als in diesem Laden.

Fischbrötchen okay. Brötchen könnten knackiger sein, Fisch gut. Schmeckt. Crepes lecker und frisch. Service nett.

We were here for lunch and were very pleased with the food at the Düne Strandbistro – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The location right on the beach is ideal for a relaxed meal and enjoying the view. 🌊 The only minor drawback: the waitress seemed a bit annoyed, which slightly dampened the otherwise positive impression. Overall, though, a highly recommended bistro for delicious food near the beach, so it still gets five stars. 🌟

I ate a currywurst, some kind of warm boiled sausage. The sauce was lukewarm and tasteless, and the sales guys seemed annoyed. No thanks!!!

A takeaway-only ice cream sundae for €7.50. We joked that the ice cream would probably be four or five euros more expensive if you sat on the terrace. Too bad that wasn't a joke. The same ice cream actually costs four or five euros more!!! But the ice cream was presented with a total lack of love, with no special extras, and the staff only spoke the bare minimum. There's definitely no such thing as warmth and friendliness! We went there twice: the first and last time.

The food is delicious, there are no long waiting times and you can sit comfortably in the beach chairs

The food is quite tasty, but the service is absolutely terrible. Everyone has a bad day sometimes—okay, but anyone who reacts irritably to guests and their own staff (in front of guests) every day is sadly out of place in the restaurant industry.

Typical beachfront stall, right on the beach, at the main entrance to the sea. Some of the food is overpriced, but it's still tasty.

Very unpleasant staff, rude, aggressive, even threatening. Zinnowitz, please re-advertise!! Currently not in an appropriate condition for a vacation rental. Threats from the staff that they "love" my mother and questions like whether I'm from Poland are just a small sample.

Absolutely not recommended! The waitress was completely overwhelmed with the order "2x fried fish sandwiches, only with remoulade, no salad, no onions, 1x full fried fish sandwich." They sent us away with the words "You won't get anything here, you're too complicated!" But I have to give it a star to post.

Basically fastfood placed in the heart of the beach. You can grab a bun w with variety of fishes or super overpriced crepes (5euro for 1 Nutella crepe 😂). Buns are okay for 6euro but nothings special really.

We've bought several fish sandwiches from this stand. They're delicious. The smoked salmon sandwiches have a lot of fish on them. They also serve delicious ice cream.

We stood at the entrance and were ignored! Okay, two waitresses were just carrying out food. There were still plenty of tables available! We then sat down at a table to signal: no, we didn't want to use the restroom. After another five minutes of ignorance, we got up and left. Another restaurant greeted us with kind words. They're happy to leave their money there 💰

Last year I would have given it 4 out of 5 stars. The ice cream was delicious and the service was friendly. Today I'm giving it 1 out of 5 because I didn't get a chance to try it this time. Even though half the tables were empty, we stood up to ask for a seat. However, two servers didn't acknowledge us. After waiting about 5 minutes and then sitting down at a table that didn't have a reservation, the staff still didn't notice us. Even though they served three tables in total and walked past us as if we were nothing. I personally thought that was a shame. But it's fine if this place doesn't want us as customers. The only thing that comes to mind is a saying I saw on a cup 10 minutes earlier: "Be like a seagull and ....... on it." And the Italian restaurant across the street welcomed us with open arms.

One evening, we ordered a portion of rice pudding with sugar and cinnamon to go (actually only available in the waitress area), but upon request, we were also able to get it from the crepe stand. Only €5. Thank you for that, my toddler was thrilled. Next door, we bought bratwurst from the grill (€4.50). It was very good. Afterward, we had ice cream at the ice cream stand (€2 per scoop). Finally, some tiramisu ice cream again, which is so rare. Everything we ate there was exceptionally good. The staff everywhere, in all three areas, were extremely friendly!!! Despite the crowds and stress. Wow.

A really delicious fish sandwich :) The ice cream could be more filling in the cup or cone for the price; a €2 scoop is steep... Depending on the staff, the sandwich is sometimes more or less filled. I'm still satisfied.

Unfortunately, only cash payment was accepted. Couldn't eat ice cream. How backward one can be. Inflexible.

Super Bistro We had beer, a punch, and two sundaes. These were customizable and very tasty. According to the menu, the ice cream is made in an environmentally friendly way on the same premises. Eating on the terrace costs extra, but the view is worth it. Update: We returned after a year to eat fish. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. The waiter was able to answer our questions and recommend what would be best. There were several side dishes to choose from; we opted for fries, and for the fish, we had herring and pike-perch. The pike-perch came with a delicious horseradish cream sauce, which was perfectly matched. We'll be back on our next Usedom vacation. Thanks for the lovely evening by the sea. Further update: We returned after 2 years (after the first visit), and it was once again incredibly delicious and inexpensive, considering you have a direct view of the sea. The waiters are super attentive and quick, and polite despite the stress and crowds! 👍🏻

A fish sandwich consists of much more than just a roll, fish, and a small lettuce leaf. Not recommended at all. Otherwise, good service...

Very unfriendly staff. I wanted to buy water for my son in the evening during the wine festival. I had a €20 note and my debit card with me and was very rudely turned away, saying they only accepted small change and didn't accept cards. Given the prices and the crowds of people shopping here, I find this incomprehensible and unfriendly to customers.

My husband got a bratwurst, but unfortunately, it wasn't great, and I got a fried fish sandwich. The fried fish sandwich was so greasy that I burned my hand from the dripping fat, and I ended up throwing half of the fried fish away because it apparently wasn't cooked through. The bottom line is, I've been suffering from severe stomach pain ever since and can't eat anything. I'll never eat there again.

Preconceptions: The restaurant closest to the beach will surely only serve fast food and be expensive, and the tattooed waitress will surely be unfriendly… The fact is: the service is extremely friendly, without seeming fake, and very fast and efficient. The food far exceeds expectations; certainly one of the best value options on the island.

The food in this shop is truly delicious, nothing to complain about. Whether it's a crepe, fried fish, or mushroom pan. The service, however, is usually very bad-tempered. This contributes to a very negative atmosphere. A real shame!

I ordered a schnitzel with fries. It was disgusting. The schnitzel and fries weren't even close to cooked. The breading on the schnitzel was soggy. The service was also unfriendly. I don't recommend eating at this restaurant.

The fish box was closed. So we opted for the Düne-Strandbistro. We weren't disappointed; the fried fish sandwich was absolutely delicious. They even added onions at our request. And the ambiance was fantastic, right on the beach in Zinnowitz.

Very unfriendly service. We sat down to eat our ice cream cones and were told in an extremely unfriendly tone that we weren't allowed to sit on that side, even though almost all the seats were free.

Service was good but the fried fish was a disaster and the fish meatballs weren't great either, everything was a bit meh.

Unfortunately, the €4 portion of fries was far too small for the price, and you can get much better tasting ones elsewhere. You won't even come close to filling them. The service was also unfriendly.

The place is very well located, and the prices are reasonable. The ice cream is okay, but not like an Italian restaurant. The grilled sausage is good, and the crepe is also very tasty. The service is fast and coordinated, and the selection is more than sufficient for a quick snack.

We had fried fish, herring, and fish balls in a roll; they were the worst of our entire Usedom vacation. The fried fish looked like it had already been through the fryer twice, and the fish balls were tiny, the roll was twice as big, and both rolls were carelessly topped together. I couldn't finish my roll either, so I threw it away. After that, we walked about 250 meters further towards the park almost every day. There's a fish shop just before the park, which is much cheaper, better, and fresher. I really can't recommend the fish rolls from the Düne Strandbistro to anyone!

Fresh food, lots of fish. The location is perfect. The waitress is amazing! Extremely fast and always friendly. We were happy that she's still there in 2025.

One star is too many. Bread rolls that aren't baked all the way through. The fish meatballs taste of rancid oil. The music behind the counter is so loud that the staff can't hear our orders. The order came so quickly that it must have been ready. Unenthusiastic staff. The worst fish sandwiches we've ever had. We won't be back.

I ordered a takeaway for over €20 ice cream coffee and wanted to use the toilet. I was told that I had to go to the public toilet because they only have it for guests sitting on the terrace.

I ordered one fried fish that was baked, so the crust was inedible. One Bismarck roll was soggy and the fish was extremely sour, not to mention the salad. Both went in the bin. Not recommended.

The food is okay. Except for the dry cardboard rolls that come out of a box. We didn't go inside; maybe the people there are more motivated and friendly, but outside, the three of them aren't friendly at all and aren't motivated at all, as if they're doing detention. They don't even talk to each other. We didn't even get a "bye" in return... we won't go there again.

Worst fish sandwich (Bismarck herring) I've ever eaten. A dry, hard roll, 100g of onions, and the mini fish between the lettuce leaf wasn't fresh. And it was quite expensive. Never again...

We ordered two chocolate ice cream sundaes. An extremely unfriendly waitress brought them to us. The two sundaes contained a total of five different flavors of ice cream, each of which tasted identical. Visually, the ice cream flavors looked quite appealing in the display. Everything tasted simply sweet. Even the chocolate sauce and sprinkles had no chocolate flavor.

Today we had salmon sandwiches, and if you like, you can add horseradish to the whole thing. Of course, there's also ice cream and drinks.... PS: I don't recommend the fish cake because it's small and not fresh.

Nice place right by the sea. Beer for 5 euros from a plastic cup was rather steep in price and the fish meatballs consisted mostly of potatoes. Matjes solid, fried herring too.

We had fish soup for 8 euros on the terrace. Super tasty, but I've also had a lot more fish in the soup. Baked fish rolls cost 9 euros on the terrace and 6.50 euros at the snack bar. Given the price difference, we'd rather get them outside. The service was good and you have a nice view of the promenade and the pier.
