Brasserie Gynt´s in Zinnowitz

Unassuming from the outside. The food, however, is superb. I had a rump steak (the best I've ever had) and my wife had a pulled pork burger. If the restaurant invests a bit more in the ambiance, it has even more potential. Otherwise, absolutely perfect!

A little hidden gem – highly recommended 😊🍽️ At first glance, Brasserie Gynt’s might seem a bit unassuming, located right next to the Hotel Baltic – but that's precisely what makes it a true hidden gem. The food is truly excellent, creative, fresh, and expertly prepared. You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with skill and passion. Add to that a very friendly and attentive staff that makes your visit pleasant and relaxing. If you're looking for high-quality food in a tranquil atmosphere, this is the place for you. A great tip for Zinnowitz – and a real recommendation to treat yourself to a lovely evening here 👍

Where can you get a large scoop of ice cream for €1.20 these days? Here... and super friendly service. Please, please... keep the prices as they are and keep going.

A very small but fine restaurant. We received a great welcome, and any changes or special requests were accommodated without any problems. I would definitely come back.

First of all - the food is really good... BUT - We were two adults and a two-year-old child. We made a reservation via OpenTable, and I already mentioned here that we had a toddler with us. We weren't greeted with the greatest of joy upon arrival. We put the highchair there ourselves - all good, no problem... No one should carry anything after us. 😉 There was a children's menu - the children's meal came with our starter. So far, so good - but... As a "greeting of the house," there was cream cheese with bread - the little one still ate it, but when his meal arrived, the waitress cleared away the bread that was in front of him and placed an extremely hot plate in front of him. Absolutely unacceptable! But we generally had the feeling that the waitress was very busy - I really hope this was an exception. Unfortunately, children don't seem to be very welcome here... What a shame, because the food is really good and the value for money is also okay. 👍

We waited almost half an hour just to be acknowledged. We asked a couple of times if we could order something, and were told to wait a moment longer. It wasn't even that busy. We were just about to leave when she finally came. We ordered two ice cream sundaes, a coffee, and a Coke. It took another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive, and about 25 minutes for the ice cream. When we went to pay, they suddenly wanted me to pay the previous customers' bill as well. The atmosphere was nice, but the service was a complete disaster. The ice cream and drinks were fine, but the music playing in the background was just as awful and kept getting louder.

That was awful. The steak, ordered medium-rare, arrived looking like a grey shoe sole. The Duroc pork was far too salty, and how they managed to make the rösti and mashed potatoes so inedible deserves respect.

We arrived and two tables were occupied, one of which was just being delivered. We sat down and ordered two burgers and a hot dog. Despite this, it took over an hour for us to get our food, and that was only after we asked – what can I say? The burgers were cold and my son's hot dog had the wrong toppings. It really makes you wonder how that's supposed to work when the place is packed. In my opinion, it's not right to leave a child waiting at a table hungry for so long and then have the wrong food delivered when there's hardly any business.

The ambiance is very nice; we ordered a few snacks, which were really good. The regular drinks are a bit more expensive than average. The staff were, of course, friendly.

Great food, nice pleasant atmosphere, great service & I emphasize again that the food from the chefs is always heavenly. Always my pleasure! Keep it up! 🙂

Dinner for two on January 3, 2025. The main course was very good. For dessert, we ordered two iced coffees, which were delayed for a very long time despite the small number of guests. When we asked for them, the waitress was unfriendly. Finally, the desserts were brought, but the ice cream had completely melted, having been simply forgotten and left standing. When we complained, there was no apology, just a silent acknowledgement. Unacceptable!

We would have liked to give 0 points. We were confirmed twice that we were taking the dog with us when we booked (online and by phone the day before). We arrived from Ahlbeck. Employees couldn't think of anything other than to offer that the dog wait outside...

An idyllic spot, decorated in Asian style. The food selection isn't extensive, but everything tasted excellent. Highly recommended.

We were able to enjoy the great service and excellent food for a week. All flavor components harmonize perfectly with each other. The dishes not only look like a painting, they also taste delicious! Thank you for this great taste experience!

I went there for the "small Italian evening buffet" and was unfortunately very disappointed. The value for money was absolutely terrible! The selection was unfortunately extremely small and neither tasty nor well-matched. The three dishes weren't labeled, so I have no idea what I ate. I think it was overcooked lasagna?! There was also fish (which was good), but no other side dish. And pasta, with nothing?! Other tables ordered à la carte. That looked much higher quality and also delicious! However, I highly recommend against the buffet!

Die Speisen waren sehr schön angerichtet. Leider waren meine Süßkartoffelwürfel nicht ganz durch bzw. hart und der Dorsch recht fade gewürzt. Der Nachtisch wiederum war sehr sehr lecker - ein Obsttörtchen. Der Gin-Tonic war auch sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mit zu viel Preis und zu wenig Menge und gesamter Qualität doch sehr überzogen. Man hat halt auch nur sehr wenig Wahlmöglichkeiten an Gerichten. Das Ambiente ist nett aber eben doch ein bisschen wie in einer Mensa. Fazit - selber probieren geht über studieren...

If you bring a little more money you can eat very well and imaginatively here.

Richtige Handwerkskunst und super freundliches Küchenpersonal! Extra Soße ist auch kein Problem. Hoffentlich bleibt die Küche uns lange erhalten. Wir kommen Definitiv wieder und empfehlen es weiter.

Went there spontaneously and got a table without any problems as out-of-house guests. The quality of the food was very high and the price was quite reasonable. The service was perfect, especially in terms of timing and friendliness.

Sehr aufmerksamer Service und die Küche beherrscht ihr Handwerk definitiv sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 👍🏻 es war ein Highlight für uns.

Sehr gutes, aber teures Restaurant. Wir waren in der Off-Season im Februar dort und auch da musste man 1-2 Tage im voraus reservieren. Tatsächlich waren wir mehr von unseren Vor- und Nachspeisen überrascht, die wirklich außerordentlich gut gelungen waren. Das optische Highlight war der dekonstruierte Frankfurter Kranz und geschmacklich das Blumenkohlküchlein. Bedienung war professionell und freundlich.

Wunderschön saniert. Schlicht, unprätentiös, stilvoll. Guter Service, gutes Essen.

Leckeres Essen, teilweise überteuert, nicht gemütlicher Essbereich, zu offen

Das Abendessen im Gynt s ist immer ein Highlight des Urlaubtages im Baltic. Unsere Erwartungen wurden auch dieses Jahr wieder übertroffen. Mit immer wieder neuen Kreationen überrascht die kleine aber feine Speisenkarte. Alles war wieder super lecker und toll angerichtet, einfach was besonderes von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert.👍👍👍 Schade nur der Ruhetag am Sonntag

Die vergangene Woche haben wir in der Brasserie gefrühstückt. Besser kann ein Tag nicht beginnen, leckere, frisch zubereitete Speisen, tolle, aufmerksame Bedienung. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist überwältigt. Auf dem Foto nur ein kleiner Teil des Angebots :-) Wir wurden jeden Tag mit einem Lächeln empfangen, die beide Frauen haben einen tollen Job gemacht!

Das Essen wird sehr schön angerichtet und schmeckt auch. Allein der Sehr teure Fisch war total totgebraten. Schade drum 😢

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Doch das Ambiente kann trotz der tollen Lage an der Strandpromenade nicht mithalten. Es ist zu groß, zu hell, zu offen für einen wirklich angenehmen Aufenthalt. Da merkt man, dass es das "Edelrestaurant" in einem Riesenhotel ist. Leider gab es Getränke, die auf der Karte standen "noch nie"? Und die Weingläser sind billiges Pressglas.

Schon mehrere Male habe ich in der Brasserie gegessen. Es war schon immer sehr gut, gestern wurden meine Erwartungen sogar übertroffen. Perfekt abgeschmeckte Speisen, der Cappuccino, das Eis und die freundliche Bedienung, alles hat die volle Punktezahl verdient! Vielen Dank!

Kulinarisches Highlight, ohne zu übertreiben. Wer hatte schonmal Rhabarber zum Fisch? Auch die Fischsuppe davor war super abgeschmeckt. Verbunden mit vorbildlicher Bedienung. Ich komme sehr gern wieder. (Hätte ich gewusst, wie die Halbpension im Hotel gehandhabt wird, hätte ich ausschließen in der Brasserie Gynt‘s gespeist.)

Ein echter kulinarischer Gewinn für Zinnowitz und die Insel Usedom. In entspannter Umgebung wird frische und kreative Küche geboten. Die Gerichte sind wirklich sehr lecker, wir waren schon ein paar mal dort und wurden nie enttäuscht.

Mein kulinarisches Highlight in Zinnowitz. In entspannter Atmosphäre gibt es hervorragendes Essen. Gut abgestimmt und sehr lecker. Viele regionale Produkte. Vor allem das Eis aus der Region ist der Wahnsinn. Auf der schönen Terrasse, direkt an der Promenade, kann man auch im Strandkorb sein Essen genießen. Auf jeden Fall mal hingehen, wenn man in der Gegend ist.

Das Essen ist hervorragend. Sieht toll aus und schmeckt auch so. Wirklich jedes Gericht der Speisekarte ist ein Gedicht.

Einfach super Gerichte. Jeden Tag eine kleine neue Auswahl. Genuss pur..

In der Brasserie gibt es nur gutes Essen. Wir haben im Hotel Baltic ein Zimmer gehabt und mit dem all inklusive lite jeden Abend in der Brasserie gespeist. Die Bedingungen sind sehr freundlich und die Küche hat unsere Wünsche berücksichtigt. Die Bruschetta sind sehr lecker aber auch die Käsesuppe hat mich umgehauen. Das Rumpsteak mit der Pilzsoße war richtig gut. Rund um sehr zufrieden.
