I didn't feel welcome. In front of the customers, the waitress asked that bubble waffles be stopped. The waffles were also very dry, and the sugar and cinnamon were barely noticeable. Then they should simply stop serving them.

On the evening of our arrival, we tried a small soft-serve ice cream, which was anything but small 😉. And it was delicious... and then on a Wednesday, when it felt like half the city was closed, we enjoyed a smashburger menu. Truly delicious. Large, hot burger, good sides (plus a draft beer). The staff was very friendly, and you can sit either in front of the entrance or comfortably inside. For me, a full five stars for such delicious food at "island-standard" prices. I'd definitely go back.

Divine!! I don't usually like fish, but even I like it here—super fresh and delicious! It takes a while because everything is made fresh and the place is popular, so plan on waiting.

For us, a visit to the Fischerstube is a must on every holiday on Wangerooge! Especially when eating there as a family with children, the price-performance ratio is simply top-notch! Tip: Bucket! I'd especially like to mention Maria in the service department. Always friendly, even in the most stressful situations, and always with a smile for everyone 👍🏻!

Unfortunately, it's very expensive, the portions are small, it's self-service and on top of that you get yelled at when you clear away the dishes.

Portions have gotten bigger again, with a very generous fried herring sandwich and a large portion of kibbeling. For me, the best fish sandwiches on the island. With cucumber, tomato, lettuce, and sauce. Great! Unfortunately, this season the price is 50% higher, and the portions are significantly smaller, meaning the prices have roughly doubled. The kids finished a mini bowl of ketchup with the family bucket (75 cents) in three minutes. Too bad, it's now too expensive for us. Fried fish sandwiches also only come with one piece of fish, not like in the photo from a few weeks ago. When we were there, several guests complained about the small portions. But it's still delicious! Old: Great start! Delicious fish, really large portions (buckets), great value! Keep it up. Maybe hang a few more pictures.

Snack bar near the beach. Friendly staff. Grilled redfish tasted like pan coating. Inedible. Okay as a snack, but unfortunately, it's nothing more.

If you order a family bucket, you'll definitely be able to fill up with three adults. Actually 5 stars, but... Unfortunately, the chicken nuggets this year are different than in previous years. I wouldn't recommend them, worse than McDonald's. (Insider tip: bring your own sauce, that way you'll save €5)

Perhaps the best fish and chips restaurant on the island. The family buckets offer fantastic value, and the quality is outstanding. Fresh fish, light and tasty breading, and great fries. You can't go wrong here.

The service is very friendly and fast. The portions are generous and very tasty. The bubble waffles, in particular, were an essential part of our vacation. A must for any beach visit.

The most delicious fried fish sandwich I've ever eaten! We ate here for the first time this year and were pleasantly surprised. Prices on Wangerooge are generally very high, so we weren't expecting much, and we were so wrong! The smallest bucket of fried fish was incredibly generous and absolutely delicious and fresh. The homemade remoulade was also really good. A few days later, I had another fried fish sandwich here, and it was simply amazing; every bite was a delight. Maria at the counter is also incredibly friendly and full of energy. I think the space and the outdoor seating fit the shop perfectly. I'm already looking forward to next year :-)

Simply fantastic! We ordered two fried fish, one fries, and one chicken nugget with fries – everything was excellent! The fried fish was crispy on the outside and wonderfully juicy on the inside, truly delicious and freshly prepared. The fried fish was beautifully served with a shell-shaped bread roll, and they didn't skimp on the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and onions. The tartar sauce went very well with it. The fries were also beautifully golden brown and not too greasy. Even the chicken nuggets (often just a "kids' dish") were really good here – crispy, hot, and with real meat. I would especially like to highlight the super friendly service! We received a friendly welcome, the staff were attentive and cheerful – you can tell they put their heart and soul into their work. And this place is also a real highlight for dogs: Our four-legged friend received a warm welcome and even received a few kind words and cuddles. Truly dog-friendly! Highly recommended, we'd love to come back – not just for the food, but also for the great atmosphere!

The best fries on the island and good fish at fair prices with charming service!

We were expecting a standard fish stall like the ones you find in tourist hotspots everywhere, but our expectations were far exceeded. The food was very, very good, especially the homemade remoulade! The prices were high, but the quality was correspondingly good, and the portions were generous. You get value for your money here. Very, very good; we'd be happy to come back.

We came here based on the reviews and are thrilled. We had the Mix Grill Platter organic salmon, cod, redfish with fries and aioli. Plus a white wine and a draft beer. The service was very nice, helpful and friendly. We'll be back 🤩

We were on Wangerooge for a few days and ate almost exclusively at the Fischerstube. The atmosphere was great, a small bistro with indoor and outdoor seating. There are beach chairs outside to relax in, the service was extremely friendly and accommodating! And the food was simply lovely - it's not always easy to find good vegan options on holiday but we got our money's worth here! We enjoyed the vegan fried fish with remoulade incredibly well and the Plant Homestyle Burger simply surpassed everything! Best vegan burger I've ever eaten! I can only recommend it if you are on Wangerooge!💚 Big compliment, we would love to come back :-)

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because when we were here at 7:25 p.m., more than half an hour before closing time, the shop was unfortunately already closed. Very, very unfortunate!

Here you order at the counter, with a very nice service person. You can even taste beer before deciding which one to drink. The dishes were rich, the homemade tartar sauce was very tasty and the fried potatoes were crispy. It is recommended to eat here when you are on Wangerooge 😋

The fish roll was well topped, but unfortunately the roll itself was completely hard. If the bun had been better it would have been perfect. You can still live with the longer waiting time on vacation.

There was a super tasty crab roll. It was generously topped with shrimp and lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers. It tasted wonderfully delicious and I can only recommend it. Even if the price is unfortunately quite high at €7.90. But still definitely worth the money for the amount. Unfortunately, everything has become more expensive. I would definitely go and get something to eat here again.

We noticed Fischerstube while walking past and went there for lunch. Ordering was quick despite there being a lot of people, and there are various comfortable seating areas outside. The selection of food is also very good. The food we ordered was ready quickly, seemed fresh and was very tasty. The portion size was very good. 👍🏼 We also tried the island beer, which is very tasty.

Price-performance winner, good fried fish, kibbelinge and shrimp... Is there better... sure, but such a decent amount of food for this price, on this island... no. I just say family BUCKET! Excellent!

Very friendly service, very tasty food and prices are ok too. Had fries, nuggets, roast beef rolls and fried fish rolls. Everything was fresh and very, very tasty! Rolls are in the shape of shells and are freshly sourced from the island bakery. It is very child-friendly here and there are bright seats (with wireless charging options at the table). We'd love to come back and try out the menu again ;) Also great: here you get mayonnaise and ketchup in small bowls and not in tear-open plastic bags! Unfortunately, this is not a given on the island…

The store is awesome! Very fair prices for portions that fill everyone up (that's rare on the island). The service is super friendly, and the house beer is also great. There is also something for people with gluten intolerance and the like👍

Very inconspicuous shop from the outside, I only saw the reviews, otherwise I would have walked past. The prices are typically high on the island, but you can't see what to expect. The initial expectation is a run-of-the-mill fish roll, but what you get is a large, shell-shaped roll filled with lots of salad and tartar sauce, which left nothing to be desired. I wish there was a little more shade outside. Attention: the rolls are too big to eat in your hand. Take your time and sit down :)

Price performance great. Bucket family. Sauce was extra. It couldn't be done with two people. Rest for tomorrow. ;-)

We each ordered a fried fish roll here and got this delicious giant fried fish burger!!! We were thrilled! This was the best fried fish we have ever eaten! Our son had a children's meal of chips and nuggets, also delicious! We give the Fischerstube 5 stars and a heartfelt recommendation!

We can recommend the Fischerstube. Price-performance is right. But above all the extremely friendly employee (Maria)! We need people like that in service!! . I hope that the hotel appreciates its staff here too! We would like to give Maria more stars :)

We ate there all but two evenings last week. The menu is extensive and there are delicious things for everyone at fair prices! The crab rolls are super delicious! The Servive is unbeatable! We immediately felt at home with Maria and on the second evening it was like eating with friends. Big compliments to the whole team and we will definitely come back!👍

Had dinner there last year. Today I ordered a small bucket and a fried fish roll. Additionally, the specially brewed beer. Both price, quality and service are unbeatable. There is no comparison to the alleged other fish stalls on the promenade. Children are also welcome there. Homemade tartar sauce, dough for the fried fish rolls and beer speak for themselves.

Tastiest fried fish sandwich on the island. €6.50 WITH tartar sauce (cucumber, tomato, etc.) By the way, tartar sauce is homemade... Great service 6/5 and very friendly, especially to children. You can sit outside and inside. Here you can get delicious island beer (2 types) from our own brewery. TIP TIP: Bucket with fried fish and fries for €9.99 (small portion)

I'm very disappointed, we went there on a Friday and the food was really good, we had a family bucket. Now before Easter it was a disaster, the bucket now costs €7.90 more than before, but there was only frozen Kibberlings and bad fries. I'm just at a loss for words for the rest. So bad and then such an outrageous price increase, no more with us!

Good and relaxed vegan offer... Went there a few times last summer and were always very satisfied. The island beer was also very tasty and the service staff was very friendly and attentive. I think her name was Maria (?). We're back this year and would love to come back. It would be nice if you could perhaps offer a vegan mayo or tartar sauce.

Thank you Mr Schmidt, we accepted their offer today. The plaice fillet was very good, the fries were not seasoned as we requested and were delicious. The young woman in service was very friendly. You could eat the first plaice fillet a few days ago and it was ok. Ordered again today and tried to eat it on site: The fish (or better: the fish) came in a thick, burnt, dry and inedible breading, the fries were totally over salted, and onion rings came instead of the salad we ordered. And that for €17.50 per person! The fried potatoes were apparently already out at 12:30 p.m. My recommendation: Only pay when you see what you have on your plate. Later complaints are pointless, no one is interested or understands them due to their lack of knowledge of German!

Actually top and 5 stars - like on our first visit. A huge family bucket (fried fish, nuggets and calamari). On the 2nd visit (Sunday evening (September 10th)), unfortunately no friendly staff/service (cashier). The excitement for the new family bucket was huge, unfortunately so was the difference in size. So unfortunately only 3 out of 5 stars.

The buckets are an absolute insider tip. The two of us had the small Bucket Kibbeling with fries and it was more than the snack we expected for the price (6.50). Super tasty, in my opinion not convenience but freshly baked, crispy Pimmes… Totally great and a super fair price.

Hier schmeckt der Fisch wirklich sehr lecker. Meiner Meinung nach der beste Fisch der Insel. Preis-Leistung wirklich top. Bedienung sehr gut. Ambiente sehr schön. Daher eine absolute Empfehlung.

Sehr teuer für eine Restaurant ohne Bedienung. Ansonsten vom Konzept mit der veganen Optionen nett, aber die Namen der veganen Gerichte passten nicht mit dem tatsächlichen Essen zusammen.

Der Backfisch im Bucket war wirklich lecker und gross für den Preis.Die Fischbrötchen sind lecker mit reichlich Fisch.Und es gab sogar einer glutenfreie Variante.Eine echte Bereicherung für die Insel

Fischbrötchen waren ok. Aber lange Wartezeiten und das frittierte Essen war unter aller Sau.

Einmal und nie wieder 🤷🏼‍♀️ Wir mussten die bestellten Gerichte mehrfach reklamieren, was leider keinen positiven Effekt auf die Qualität hatte. Zwei Sterne gebe ich nur deshalb, weil die Mitarbeiterin wirklich sehr freundlich und bemüht war und uns am Ende den Preis der bemängelten Gerichte erstattet hat.

Tolles Lokal. Wer Fish and Chips mag ist hier genau richtig. Entweder Backfisch im Lokal essen oder ein Bucket für den Strand mitnehmen. Beides super gut. Das inselbräu Bier ist sehr gut. Sehr nette Dame an der Kasse. Danke. Wir kommen wieder. Gr Martín.

Wir haben uns jetzt zum zweiten Mal Essen geholt. Der Backfisch ist wirklich super klasse und wird aus frischem Fisch hergestellt. Für den Preis und die Größe der Portionen einzigartig. Auch die Hähnchen Nuggets waren sehr gut. Leider wird der sehr gute Eindruck durch die Remouladensoße kaputt gemacht. Eine einfache Fertigsoße haben wir nicht erwartet. Schade, und einen Stern Abzug dafür.

Das Fischrestaurant, in dem ich das Vergnügen hatte, zu essen, war einfach fantastisch! Der Backfisch war meisterhaft gemacht, mit einer knusprigen Panade und einem herrlichen Aroma. Die Pommes waren perfekt gegart. Ausgezeichneter Qualität und ich konnte die Hingabe und Leidenschaft spüren, mit der sie zubereitet wurde. Wenn Sie nach einem kulinarischen Erlebnis suchen, das Sie nicht enttäuschen wird, sollten Sie dieses Restaurant unbedingt besuchen!

In diesem Fischrestaurant zu essen war eine wahre Freude! Der Scholle war eine gelungene Kombination aus knuspriger Textur und zartem Geschmack. Die Bratkartoffeln waren die perfekte Beilage und die hausgemachte Coctail-Sauce war ein echtes Highlight, das dem Gericht eine wunderbare Würze verlieh. Die Liebe zum Detail und die handwerkliche Kunst, die in jedes Gericht flossen, waren offensichtlich. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen, um mehr von diesen Aromen zu genießen!

Leider nicht so toll. Gericht: Fisch & Chips Der Fisch kaum zu vorhanden. Die Teighülle dafür umso dicker. Die Aioli eine Fertigmischung. Gehört eher zu der Kategorie „ einmal und nicht wieder“.

Die Pommes waren ebenfalls hervorragend und passten hervorragend zum Fisch. Das gesamte Essen war frisch und von hoher Qualität. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der exzellenten Fischgenuss sucht!

Eine tolle Entwicklung und Bereicherung für die Insel. Hier wird vieles richtig und besser als bei anderen Imbiss Restaurants mit ähnlichen Produkten auf der Insel gemacht. Freundliches Personal, hochwertig und liebevoll zubereitete Produkte, nachhaltige Lösungen für ToGo, faire Preise und als Krönung gibt es das tolle Bier der Inselbrauerei - sogar frisch vom Fass! Weiter so!
