Very nice beach with a good restaurant. Lots of trees and an adjacent campsite. Parking for guests is a bit limited.

Too crowded (every little hole is patched up), therefore too loud, too expensive (you also have to pay extra for the shower), 3 stars only for the sanitary facilities, which are reasonably clean. OK for one night, I wouldn't stay longer.

It was a great experience, I would love to come back again and again. The staff is friendly and happy to help with any questions you may have. The restaurant at the campsite is also delicious and the view at sunset is also great. Highly recommended.

A beautiful campsite in Allensbach. About 900 meters from the nearest shop near the train station. A good restaurant is also available on site.

We were here with the Camping Club. Everything went perfectly. The reception was warm and professional. We highly recommend the campsite.

We rented a POD (camping pod) at the campsite for two people. The PODs are spacious, clean, and equipped with a small heater and a refrigerator. There are shared cooking facilities at the campsite itself, but we didn't use them. The reception is excellent, but could use a bit more explanation. The campsite's sanitary facilities are spacious and clean, but a bit difficult to reach from the PODs at night due to the darkness. The center of Konstanz is a 15-minute walk from the campsite, highly recommended! In short, excellent basic accommodation near Lake Constance.

Great campsite. Camping right on the lake. Very friendly reception staff. You can even light a fire by the lake with a fire bowl—which is fantastic for kids. The common room is pretty worn, and you have to like spiders and cobwebs... there are plenty of them there (outdoors only!)

We arrived spontaneously on Monday with a 7m² motorhome without a reservation. The friendly groundskeeper showed us the available spots, making sure you weren't next to another male dog or a female dog in heat with her own male dog. I thought that was really nice. The spot in the third row with a view of the lake was spacious and not cramped. A bit muddy due to the rain. Direct access to the lake, with regular mosquito attacks in the evenings. Sanitary facilities were clean and adequate, shower tokens cost €1 for 4 minutes of hot water, but you can turn them on and off in between, and the water pressure was strong. Otherwise, there were only two lockable cubicles with sinks, which I thought was a bit small, but of course there are also several sinks in a large washroom. For children and families, there is a washing and shower area between the men's and women's areas, accessible from both sides. From Allensbach, it's easy to get to Konstanz and other cities by train or S-Bahn, and with the tourist tax ticket, it's free. You need to buy a separate child's ticket for your dog. A small boat runs to Reichenau several times a day. Dogs can be walked right outside the campsite, and there are dog poop bags and trash cans everywhere. All in all, a somewhat rainy but still great stay.

Friendly and super helpful staff. We've been here four times now, and it's always beautiful: right on the lake, a sunbathing lawn next door, and pedal boat/SUP/etc. rentals on site. Family-friendly! We'd love to come back!

A pleasant campsite in a natural setting on the outskirts of Isny. It has its own natural swimming lake. A good starting point for bike rides or hikes. Friendly and welcoming staff.

€40 a night for a caddy with two people is a bit steep. But it's clean and has lake access.

It was a very nice time. Right on the water. The facility was very well maintained. The restrooms were always clean. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our time.

I wanted to stay fewer nights over the long weekend in August, but they only allowed bookings of six nights or more. I found that inflexible, so I decided against it.

Beautiful, cozy spot right on the lake. Staff are friendly and helpful. Electricity is difficult to access for some pitches (long lines are required). The cleanliness of the restrooms could be improved, hence -1 star. The site has even more potential. A bike service station, for example, would be very useful.

The most beautiful, family-friendly campsite on the lake. Great staff, a lovely restaurant with the best waiters, and clean washrooms. Plus, you can park your car right on the lake—it couldn't be better.

We've been coming here for years. This campsite offers everything you could want from a lakeside campsite! And the staff is super friendly!

They completely panicked when I rode my loaded bike onto the property after riding over 100 km, looking for reception. Cyclists are not welcome here. Fortunately, there are two campsites within a reasonable distance that are welcoming to cyclists.

A fantastic campsite with reasonable prices and a beautiful area. Clean, the cleaning ladies are super hardworking, and everything at the reception is wonderful. We stayed there for three nights and have already booked another holiday in Allensbach at Seecamping next year. Thank you for a wonderful place (despite the rain).

A beautiful campsite right on Lake Constance. We loved everything, from the friendly staff to the clean shore. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side, which isn't the campsite team's fault. So, for the first time, we actually left early and experienced how customer-friendly and understanding the team is. A definite thumbs up from us. We'll definitely be back when the weather's better.

Nice campsite, but the shower costs €1 for four minutes. That's a shame.

It's sooooo beautiful there. We've been there every year for the past six years. It's just amazing there.

We booked a spot by the lake and were traveling with a camper van. The dimensions were given as to how big the spot was, and I also had to provide the dimensions of the camper van. But everything was correct so far. Both site attendants yelled at us, saying the van was much too big. Every explanation that we had checked everything beforehand and that the van corresponded to the dimensions on the website was of no use. When we asked them to at least correct the website, he said he wasn't allowed to put camper vans with pop-up roofs in the front row. Funnily enough, the front row was full of exactly those types of vans. We weren't allowed to go to the lake. The spot we were given was very unpleasant, very loud, and quite exposed. A shame when you're looking forward to a view of the lake.

The campsite is beautifully situated on Lake Constance, and we had a lovely spot on the "Bulliwiese" (right on the lake). However, the lake is quite muddy at this point, and it takes ages to get in. Perfect for windsurfing, SUPing, and canoeing/kayaking. The restroom facilities were also excellent, except for the shower tokens (4 minutes for €1.00). However, the snacks and takeaway food are very expensive and, in my opinion, not worth the price.

It was a truly beautiful day at the lake. The campsite is clean and quiet, just as it should be. The restrooms are consistently clean. The restaurant with a lake view enjoys a well-deserved good reputation.

Beautiful campsite right on the lake. Nice playgrounds, and very clean restrooms for both adults and children. However, adults pay €1, and kids go free. There's a refreshment stand where you can also buy chips. In my opinion, the restaurant doesn't serve any freshly prepared food (except for steaks). Conclusion: I'd definitely go back to this campsite :-)

The site is right on the lake, with short paths to and from the water. The sanitary facilities could benefit from some renovation. The website advertises that it's one of the few sites where dogs are allowed. However, dogs aren't allowed in the water or on the beach (this was stated upon inquiry at reception). It would be worth considering making part of the campsite beach accessible to dogs. Shower tokens should also be a thing of the past. Even though the pitches aren't exactly marked out, we had plenty of space. The groundskeeper was very friendly, and we easily got a spot without a reservation. The overnight price is reasonable. The great location makes up for the less positive aspects. We'll be happy to visit again.

I've been there several times. It's always a pleasure to be there. This place has an addictive atmosphere. Despite the large number of visitors, it's always quiet; there's no barking of dogs, and the guests, strangely enough, behave so well—we're all very polite and reserved. I'll be back again and again. We had a fantastic time at the campsite! The grounds are very well maintained, and the restrooms were always clean and modern. We particularly enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere – perfect for unwinding. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The bread roll service in the morning was also a nice plus. The pitches are spacious and offer plenty of privacy.

A very nice campsite on Lake Constance. The staff are very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for action, train tickets are included, and Konstanz is only an 8-minute train ride away, but you can also just relax and lie on the swimming area. Highly recommended.

A beautiful campsite! We were there during the Whitsun holidays, and it was still pleasant and well-spaced. Even on the beach, it was never crowded or noisy. The staff are ALL incredibly friendly! They accommodate all special requests and try to accommodate everything. The staff at the kiosk were also very friendly and patient with questions about allergens. We booked a wooden cabin and were very satisfied with that, too. The only thing we deducted is that there are no fly screens. Neither on the window nor on the door. Unfortunately, a lot of flies get in. And a couple of shelves would be nice for storing things, because with four people and their bags, it quickly gets very cramped. The restrooms were always clean without exception, and the cleaning staff were working all day. Really great! We thank you and will definitely come again :)

Great campsite with excellent access to the lake, top-notch restroom facilities! Beautiful adjacent beach. Everything is well-maintained and in excellent condition! Points deducted for the restaurant: overpriced salad with a few fish crisps. Uncut green salad (giant leaves), a bit of coleslaw, potato, and carrot salad with a bland dressing for €19. Sausage salad on a mountain of lettuce to "fake" a larger portion. The service staff seemed listless and rather unfriendly, a shame!

Nice, tidy spot. Friendly service. However, cars must park outside. Right next door is a public beach with a very large sunbathing lawn, some of it under trees. Typical for the shallow Gnadensee: a bit muddy but above-average warm water.

First of all: The bad review was also passed on to reception. Well, let's start: The groundskeeper is extremely unfriendly, especially to children, not to mention us. How can anyone hire someone like that?! The cars always have to be parked outside! (The pool was full and there were no parking spaces available, so we were repeatedly told to keep looking until one became available!) We paid for two cars and a caravan, and that kind of answer/instruction is unacceptable! They should also change it on the website! Then: The cleanliness was absolutely terrible! Truly disgusting, sorry! We were there in 2022, and it was ooooook, now it's even worse. It's especially noticeable with children. Cobwebs, dirt, old toilets, far too few showers and washbasins, empty soap dispensers, and so on. And it's loud even after 10 p.m., to the point where you or the kids are constantly waking up! It was also packed, as it was back then, so you could practically hand your neighbor a sandwich! I absolutely cannot recommend this place, not even for one night, unless you're completely drunk and don't care about anything! Especially the complaining from the groundskeeper and the cleanliness! The only thing is the playground is nice and the ladies at reception are nice! But that's it. We left after two days, even though we have two small children and the awning was set up, and went to another campsite! Never again!

This was a really good find. We stayed in the motorhome section and paid 16€+tax+1€ a shower.In an area with grass overlooking the campsite play area & towards the lake. You find a space and then go to reception to register and pay. Trainline behind so quite noisy. All campsite facilities avaliable to us so we used the washing machine, & their sinks for washing up.We stayed an extra night and used the travel card we were given for our tax to go to Konstanz. Great if you don't mind the noise and are aware that there is no high fence along the railway line. There is a restaurant near the lake - very pleasant 😍

Nice place right on the water. The train next door can hardly be heard. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Sanitary facilities very clean and spacious. 1 euro for the shower, 5 minutes. By interrupting the water flow, the time can be pleasantly extended. One star deducted for the slightly too high price and the high prices in the kiosk. Restaurant is ok.

Too many flies. Lake cabin capes and windows are dirty. Associated table and chairs are dirty and outdated. In front of the hut there is a large tree from which branches fall and land on the terrace and hit us. Showers cost 1 euro for every 4 minutes. Blankets are unreasonably short and uncomfortable.

In the restaurant I was served a frozen schnitzel. This is what you expect in a chip shop. This is insufficient for a chef in a restaurant. Very bad.

Camping is in a very nice location.. Nice people.. Unfortunately, the food in the restaurant is inedible.. Pizza is a frozen product.. Spaetzle is bland and probably made with analog cheese.. There is no mention of it being spicy (as advertised).. It's a shame, we'll have to spend our travel funds elsewhere..

Very, very nicely located, almost all places with a view of the lake. Everything you need is there. Sanitary very clean and spacious. The “usherman” is really nice and committed. Completely in contrast to registration/reception: unfriendly, complicated and rude. Not nice at all. Overall we had a great time, including a romantic sunset at the lake.

Some of the pitches are arranged in roundels with a large meadow in the middle, which is a very good arrangement, especially with children. This also allows you to come into great contact with the other campers, but you have less distance and no privacy screen. We liked that. The course is located directly on the bank and has a large play area with a volleyball court and more, a playground with a water pump, a bathing beach and a restaurant. We didn't try the restaurant but it was full every day so seems good. Recommendation: Gabby's Grillhaus near the train station. Looks like a cheap takeaway. But the burgers are just great, and one portion of fries (which are also delicious) is enough for two children.

Good location by the lake, but only stone beach. Water connection possible. Unfortunately, you can only shower with shower tokens for 1 euro, Car must be parked outside!...if there is space! There are also parking fees upon departure, 4 euros per day! The garbage is picked up too rarely and therefore piles up in the containers at the garbage dump! Place appears unkempt! Some parking spaces are too small. Despite the high price, the currywurst doesn't taste good at all at the kiosk!

16.05.-15.09. No dogs allowed, that's not true, there were a few dogs on the site. The lounge urgently needs to be renovated, the suspension on the sofa is already showing. Furthermore, the older gentleman at the kiosk is very unfriendly. A mother liked the door in the bike room, he said it would stay closed (but then opened it) and said next time it would cost as much as a locksmith. Behind the kiosk/restaurant it looks like a pigsty. The gardener and the reception staff were very friendly, and many thanks to the cleaning ladies. Oh yes, the booking system also urgently needs to be overhauled.

The "Camping am See" in Allensbach impresses with its truly beautiful, lush garden and landscaping, which is in professional hands. A subtly profiled area, tasteful and clean utility buildings, the old trees and the covered arcades create a special atmosphere. Playgrounds, spacious lawns, Lake Constance right in front of your nose. If you sit on the lakeside terrace under the mighty trees, you can relax wonderfully. There is this murmur in the air that tells of easygoing life and fun. I have never experienced a grumpy groundskeeper. The entire staff is effortlessly very friendly. You feel welcome.

Visited in July of 2024. Excellent and speedy check in. Decent sized pitches all extremely close to the lake. The facilities were well maintained and kept very clean, not too easy when the site is as busy as it is. The water is lovely and you have easy access to take out your paddle board or kayak. There is designated swimming area, which is well marked out. Bar and restaurant was reasonably priced and the snack bar served good quality foodstuff. One night we had man entertain us with his Alphorn [no pun intended] which was beautiful. Loads of open space for kids to play in. Lovely village with a supermarket which was well stocked, a market that was small, but very pleasant to walk round. Lovely place and definitely on the 'will be back' list.

Very well-kept place with a restaurant and beach, unfortunately the gnats came in the evening!

We went camping there as a group of adult students for two nights. Right at the beginning we were told that "young people" weren't particularly welcome here because of their behavior and there was also a list of rules that we should therefore pay more attention to. However, other visitors, especially children, observed even less adherence to rules such as noise levels, littering and respect for other visitors. During our stay we noticed that we didn't like being seen there because of the unfriendly looks we received. The friendliness of the staff, especially at the kiosk, also left a lot to be desired. Hygiene in the bathroom and toilet areas was lacking, the showers and sinks were often not clean or full of hair. Apart from that, we had a nice and pleasant tent location, the swimming area by the lake and the large meadow to settle down there were also very nice! All necessary shops or connections are easy to reach from the campsite and the stay was still pleasant and relaxing

I can't understand all the good reviews... You can't get a drink in the restaurant at 8:30 p.m., even though it's open until 9 p.m. In general the staff is very unfriendly. Unfortunately, the showers I had weren't very clean and the children's showers weren't ideal either. There is no heating, especially on cold days, and it is definitely too cold for small children, and the baby bath was also very unhygienic and full of hair. There is also no changing facilities or anything similar. Okay for a short stay, but definitely not for longer stays.

We went to the outdoor pool and there is everything you need for a day of leisure. Beautiful facility with shower, toilet, restaurant with terrace, children's playground and shady trees.

Super Friendly Staff! Toilettes and bathroom are clean, the lakeside has great access. Unfortunately we didn’t try the restaurant but it looked good.

Sanitary facilities were not completely hygienic, there was excrement on the outside of a toilet. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff could not be informed of this due to their lack of knowledge of German. The place is well suited for families, but if you are looking for a more relaxed/quiet place, you should avoid this one.

Beautiful, but not parceled out camping site right on the lakeshore and lido left in nature in the nature reserve. The stand will be assigned to you by a nice gentleman after consultation. Electricity on site, you can leave at any time even if the car is about to sleep. You can walk to Allensbach train station in 15 minutes, for example. to come to Konstanz [Sea Night Festival]. Reserve early in the year for high season. Washhouse not luxurious but clean and sufficient.

We had a 2 person cyclist room. Spacious and enough to stay overnight. What bothered us was that people were still talking about the wooden path well after 10 a.m. The room was right next to the shower and other people who didn't care about getting a good night's sleep and went to take a shower at 1 a.m.... Otherwise the campsite was tip top And beautiful location by the water...

What a terrible place to drive on. We stayed in Allensbach for two nights and thank God it wasn't longer. We don't really understand the positive reviews either. Our motorhome is 7m long and 2m wide at the front, we still had exactly 2m, which means that for this price we had 7x4m exactly 28sqm... you couldn't use the 4x 1m at the front because every meter in between in this space is occupied by tents. The toilets weren't clean even at midday after the early rush. The best thing came when we went to the kiosk to order rolls. The man behind said, well, that they were ordering rolls, otherwise I would have had to warn them because they had parked the bikes on the way . If half a liter of beer costs 4.80 euros in a restaurant, that's normal... but not at the kiosk, a bottle from the fridge without service - even the 1 euro chip deposit doesn't help. We'll never go there again, you feel like you can't The smallest amount of space can accommodate the most people.

Showers are chargeable - but one star is deducted. Mega long waiting time for the groundskeeper. There was only one car in front of us and we waited for about 30-40 minutes. Another star deducted for that. Otherwise an average campsite.

I would love to move in here for several months of the year! A great place to relax, fantastic especially for families with small children. We spent the week in the fishing village and it was just great and at the same time relaxing for everyone. The whole campsite is super clean, the staff is very nice, the location is great, few tourists, the beach is great, I also think the surf school is great, just everything! In fact, I would advise couples with romantic plans not to do this, as it can't lead to romance, the neighbors, who probably had their own ideas about the fishing village, were annoyed and couldn't sleep in in the morning (the little ones are already running around and playing at 7). . Then it's better to take a camper or tent very close to the lake.

Everything is there, modern, functional. We had a lovely 4 day stay

We were there from Monday to Saturday. When we arrived we immediately said we wanted to stay until Sunday, i.e. another night. The lady at the reception referred us to the groundskeeper about this. The groundskeeper signaled to us on Monday that this would probably be possible. We asked him about it every day. On Saturday (the actual departure day) we had a rude awakening. We had to vacate our place immediately by 12 p.m. because everything was supposedly fully booked. We had nice days, nice neighbors and a great parking space, but that leaves a bad aftertaste. All power to the groundskeeper.

Nice, clean place. Top location, with parking spaces right on the lake. Everything is very well organized. There is a local transport ticket for your stay - the train station is 5 minutes away. The sanitary area is clean. Overall there is a nice atmosphere on the square, in the restaurant and in the swimming area.

Very nicely located campsite, the restaurant is excellent and the staff are very nice and accommodating. The only thing that could be improved are the men's toilets, as after a few hours there is a very strong smell of ammonia... The groundskeeper is very polite and so are the staff at the kiosk. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and the waiting time is not long. All in all, it is a top campsite, but it still has one or two flaws.

Highly recommended for a holiday, there is the possibility of camping there with a mobile home or a tent or you can also rent a wooden cabin there. The reception staff and the groundskeeper are very helpful and friendly, the whole place is tidy and clean, there are many additional options such as a shower or kitchen but also a restaurant. On the other hand, the lido is also very well maintained and tidy, there is a lot for children and the access to the water is partly designed with mats, and there is also care/supervision by the DLRG.

Great place, top sanitary facilities, right on the lake

Beautifully located campsite, clean sanitary facilities, small kiosk and delicious restaurant on the site. Direct access to the lake. Rental of surfboards and SUPs. The only drawback was that our place and some of those around us were very muddy. Hence a star deduction. Otherwise a really nice place that we will visit again.

Very nicely laid out and well maintained campsite. Registration was completely uncomplicated and an extremely nice groundskeeper. He explained everything to us very well and precisely. Sanitary facilities were very clean and the food in the restaurant was also very tasty. Unfortunately we were here a little too short a time so we couldn't stay longer. Feel free to come for a longer period of time.

A very nice campsite. Great sanitary facilities, bread roll service and what we really liked was the sanitary facilities for the children. Small sinks at different heights as well as the shower heads (so cute) and can be reached from the men's and women's sides. The very central location of the square is the ideal starting point for cycling tours to Allensbach Freizeipark, Mainau, Reichenau or Konstanz. And floods don't always happen.

Hi, we stayed in the cyclist room for 2 nights, everything was a bit old. I find just one socket for a maximum of 3 occupancy to be very limiting. When I asked at the reception if we could perhaps borrow a 3 socket, we were only given a very unfriendly answer that they weren't a cable rental company and that we could ask on the spot. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities left much to be desired after 7 p.m. A restful night in the cyclist's room is only possible after 2 a.m. until then the staff celebrates in front of the lounge, which, according to the notice, closed at 10 p.m. A visit to the kiosk and restaurant is recommended, the food is good and the service is very friendly.

Clean, relaxed, somewhat unconventional campsite. Nice service at the reception. Unfortunately, the restaurant closes PUNCTUALLY at 8 p.m. without any ifs or buts.

Great atmosphere, very polite staff, delicious food

Went there with a group two years ago in the cyclist rooms. These are set up very pragmatically. There are opportunities to sit together with a group for breakfast and dinner. It's good that there is a communal fridge, but the hygiene here leaves something to be desired.

Parking space was okay, unfortunately not value for money. Restaurant is okay, kiosk has exorbitant bread roll prices

Incredibly beautiful and well-kept campsite! We were here for the first time and definitely not the last! :-) We had a wonderful four days here. The complex is very well maintained, there is plenty of space, the sanitary facilities are very clean, there is a lounge, even a kitchen! :-) just great!

Were at the beautifully landscaped campsite “Camping am See” in Allensbach on April 13-14, 2024. Registration was super friendly, very informative and totally uncomplicated. The groundskeeper who assigned us the pitch was also really friendly and explained everything there was to know about the pitch and beyond. Rolls were ordered at the kiosk (also very friendly) the evening before and could be picked up the next morning from 8 a.m. Cleanliness of the toilets and washrooms were 👍🏻. Will definitely visit the campsite again.

We have been coming to the square by boat for years and love the ambience and the playground, as well as the restaurant. We actually don't want to deduct any stars, but the kiosk or snack bar operator this year (2024) is simply unfriendly and not suitable for hosting families/children. Very unfortunate. As mentioned, this only applies to snack bars/kiosks and not to restaurants.

Friendly staff and great location, gladly again.

Very nicely located campsite right on the water and in a quiet location. The prices in the restaurant or in the kiosk are very high, far too expensive for families with children, even a currywurst with fries was €9.50.... The sanitary buildings were very clean and well maintained. There is a separate children's bathroom for children, very cute...
