Very nice beach with a good restaurant. Lots of trees and an adjacent campsite. Parking for guests is a bit limited.

We stayed at the Fährhaus with 8 people, including 2 small children. The food and service were good. The spot on the terrace was a bit unfortunate. Even though the plastic tarpaulins were closed, it was extremely drafty, which was especially noticeable when the heaters were off, which was unfortunately quite often. The coded access to the restrooms is also poorly designed. The keypad is too small, especially for seniors. We were unlucky that the door wouldn't open even after entering the code. The worst thing, however, was that despite spending over 300 euros on food, we still had to pay a 3-euro parking fee (we had 3 cars, so 9 euros). Parking should be free for guests who eat. Anything else is a rip-off.

Hervorragendes Essen, freundlicher Service

We had an incredibly wonderful and exceptionally delicious evening. The food was amazing and worth every penny. The view and the location are unique, and we were simply enchanted at times. The service team is fantastic. Relaxed, attentive, and we hardly had to wait because someone was always unobtrusively available (although we were there at 5:30 pm; later, when it got busier, you probably had to wait a little longer...). They were also highly professional. Our server, Faya (I hope I spelled that right), knew everything about every ingredient and seemingly every drop of wine. She reacted immediately: I'm pregnant, there's sherry in the salad dressing... She wiped down the table between courses and explained the best way to eat the fish. You could see her passion and love for her job, and that made our evening even more special. We would love to book her for our next visit. So, if you appreciate good food and high-quality groceries, don't need service with a puffed-up "you," and also want a wonderful nature experience, then you should definitely invest your well-earned money in such great shops.

The restaurant is very cramped, but very good and inexpensive, especially the fish platter.
