Great little fish restaurant with excellent service. The food was delicious. I'll definitely come back.

This Hallig is a unique place, as is the special story of its former resident, Countess Diana von Reventlow, which can be read in the fascinating book THE COUNTESS by Irma Nelles. A quaint inn with a wide variety of offerings, including delicious freshly baked cakes, but all of this is only available to guests who are traveling with the Wadden Coachmen on the highly recommended and informative carriage ride through the mudflats. We were particularly lucky today – late summer weather with a bright blue sky...

Right next to the dike, this place has a perfectly calm and peaceful atmosphere. The staff was always, always friendly. We ordered soup and a fried fish sandwich, both were delicious. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Fährhaus with 8 people, including 2 small children. The food and service were good. The spot on the terrace was a bit unfortunate. Even though the plastic tarpaulins were closed, it was extremely drafty, which was especially noticeable when the heaters were off, which was unfortunately quite often. The coded access to the restrooms is also poorly designed. The keypad is too small, especially for seniors. We were unlucky that the door wouldn't open even after entering the code. The worst thing, however, was that despite spending over 300 euros on food, we still had to pay a 3-euro parking fee (we had 3 cars, so 9 euros). Parking should be free for guests who eat. Anything else is a rip-off.

We always received very friendly and competent advice and service. The rooms are clean and modern. The hotel's location, right on the lake: what more could you want?
