Very good fish eaten there, service great, very nice staff

We had dinner at Fischers Fritz and ordered the fish platter for two people, with a delicious white wine. The fish platter was absolutely amazing. Plentiful, super tasty and also prominently served with small fireworks. Ambience rather rustic, service as well, but attentive and really good. We can absolutely recommend a visit to Fischers Fritz.

We had a spontaneous meal here today (beginning of February 2025). Despite our three golden retrievers, we were greeted warmly. We immediately felt at home in the cozy, clean restaurant, which was also due to the nice waitress. The fish soup “Pomeranian style” was very good, as was the mild matjes “Usedomer style” with fried potatoes. The fish was mild, the salad visually appetizing and just as tasty as the great fried potatoes. The tartar sauce was also great. All highly recommended!

We were greeted very harshly and unfriendly. The walk to the table was so quick that we could hardly follow. Cards placed on the table and that was it for the welcome. If you can call it that. At the same time as us, an older lady with a child sat down and was also very rudely told off that all the tables were reserved. Note here. The dining room was almost empty. Unfortunately the room smelled like a toilet and smoke. That prompted us to leave the restaurant and go to another place. No feedback was asked for after we left after 10 minutes.

The fish is, as always, very tasty. And the service was again very humorous and excellent. Only the website wasn't up to date, so we found ourselves standing in front of a closed door.

Cozy pub, with honest food. Exactly what you would expect if you want to eat fish on the coast. Yummy

In September we excitedly reserved a table for December 31, 2024, expecting to properly celebrate the end of the year. Two days before the appointment, we were there in person again to make sure that everything was going as planned. But on New Year's Eve we discovered that our reserved table simply wasn't available. Instead we were placed in the awning - a significant downgrade from what we expected. Although the team tried hard, the process seemed chaotic. We had to remind us several times about the drinks we ordered, which put an additional strain on the evening. The food was good, but smoking and obviously annoyed staff didn't help to lighten the mood. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that massively spoiled our evening and the carefully planned anticipation. It's really a shame that so much went wrong here.

2024 season, was there twice. Once I got something to take away and had something to eat on the beach, everything was great, nice and accommodating. That's why I brought my family over in the evening. There were eight of us, three small children. We put together two tables in the relatively empty outdoor area and were already looked at annoyed by a woman at the stairs, who didn't communicate with us either. Then a waiter came and immediately stated how stupid he thought it was, it must have bothered him that you feel so comfortable that you take something like this into your own hands. But since it really has a snack bar feel, you don't get the idea that it's stupid, but rather that you're relieving people of some of the work. So he sent us somewhere else and put everything back again, the fact that we helped him and it wasn't really a problem didn't help anymore. The waiter, a young man, had given off a really stupid atmosphere, always saying things like that and occasionally saying something like "sh...e" (which I don't think is that great in front of small children, but I've been in that situation before). sensitized to stupid vibes), and in general I felt very sorry for my family. She didn't think it was bad or even noticed it. But as a father, you are sometimes a little more vulnerable, especially when you have three 3- to 4-year-old sons. Anyone who has children knows that they can be very stressful at that age, so you just want to get away and you don't want to expose yourself to it all as a family if you also feel unwanted. The food wasn't bad, but very simple - which my wife, for example, liked - but it was too expensive. Along with the experience, you feel like you're being dismissed as a tourist and that everything you do is wrong.

Unfortunately not like it used to be. Service was a lot slower and the food was also better. Waiting for 1 hour for the food was... no, that doesn't have to be the case. We won't be coming back last visit was very disappointing

After a long drive, we looked for a restaurant that was still open at this time and where we could get something to eat. We walked past Fischers Fritz and arrived 20 minutes before the kitchen closed. Other restaurants had already turned us away even though their kitchens would have been open longer. The chef even came out to explain to us young Berliners what spicy meat is and gave his kitchen recommendations. We tried it and were not disappointed at all. The food was bombastic. The condition is absolutely great! The chef incredibly friendly and funny. The price-performance ratio is absolutely the same here. Normally I don't like to give that much Google reviews but we loved it so much! We will definitely come back!

Very rustic restaurant in the best location in Ahlbeck! In summer on the terrace with a direct view of the Baltic Sea! The range of fish is very extensive, of excellent quality and the portions are very generous! In other words: you still have a lot on your plate! And at prices that are still affordable! The service is quick, unobtrusive, friendly, as it should be but rarely is! Everything was just right for us and many others saw it that way too, because the store was well attended!

Was a good and plentiful lunch. Very tasty, gladly again.

A small but fine fish restaurant. Even without pre-ordering, we were assigned a table by the friendly service. The “Finkenwerder style plaice fillet with fried potatoes” we ordered was very tasty. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. We went there again today on November 4th, 2024. top service, Great food and Delicious drinks.

Unfortunately, there is no real interest in the guest here anymore. We were guests twice this week after prior reservation. Both times things didn't go as planned. But that was the lesser evil. On Tuesday our food tasted excellent and the service was quick and very friendly. Today on Thursday the complete opposite. There were also problems again with the reservation from Tuesday, our reserved table was occupied. We got a "up there!" Unfortunately, the fish platter was inedible. We said that in a matter-of-fact tone. The fried potatoes were still hard and greasy. Unfortunately, after our criticism, we were not served any further and our concerns were not passed on. The managing director was amused at the counter with noisy guests and doesn't actually notice anything that should interest him. It's a shame. We've been coming to this restaurant for many years on the first and last evening of our vacation. Today it was disappointing and sobering definitely won't come back and won't recommend it to others.

Delicious food and nice service

There was a fish platter, not exactly cheap, but absolutely top notch in terms of quantity and quality!!! The location is an absolute must on Usedom and is simply cult.

Wir haben bzw. mussten einen Tisch reservieren, sonst hätten wir lange warten müssen. Die Küche ist einsehbar und somit kann man den Köchen zusehen, wie leckere Dinge zubereitet werden...die Bedienung ist schnell, humorvoll und sehr bemüht, den Gast zu verwöhnen. Die Ausstattung des Lokales ist rustikal gemütlich und die Preise gut für das leckere Essen....leider muss ich nach Hause, ich wäre gern noch einmal dort Essen gegangen....Vielen Dank für die schönen Abende

We can give a maximum of 3 stars here. We had the “salmon fried” and the “rump steak” As a side dish with the salmon were rosemary potatoes, unfortunately too salty and far too oily/greasy. The salmon itself was ok. The rump steak was very small and the side dishes were also too fatty. Poor price/performance ratio.

Were no longer disappointed like they were a few years ago. Fried potatoes super greasy and the matjes dry. The side dish without anything. (Spices and dressing) It's a shame we used to eat there often.

The atmosphere is more like a fast food joint but the staff is super nice and has a great snack 😂 The food is very tasty 😋

We had a very nice evening here yesterday. A place under the parasol on the terrace, great music from the street musician in front of the restaurant, very tasty and nicely prepared food and great, friendly service. Price performance perfect, definitely recommended. Our dog was also greeted warmly and would have been welcome in the restaurant. Definitely planned again for the next vacation.

When you looked at the menu, like in most restaurants, the prices seemed a bit high, BUT when the food (halibut steak) arrived, you were amazed. The food was delicious and the portion was simply awesome. There was nothing on the plate that wasn't tasty, really recommended.

Der Service ist plump und im ganzen sehr mangelhaft, dass Drama nahm angefangen mit der Begrüßung seinen Lauf. In der Zeit in der wir auf eine Speisekarte warteten beschlich uns das Gefühl, dass wir keine gern gesehenen Gäste sind. Der Tisch wurde nicht gereinigt obwohl dieser es nötig gehabt hätte, man wird platziert. Die Speisen sind preislich kein Schnäppchen, unappetitlich angerichtet, sehr einfache Küche, hier Luft nach oben. Auch wir kennen das Lokal aus vorherigen Besuchen müssen aber sagen das wir keinen Bedarf hinsichtlich weiterer Besuche haben.

We wanted to eat a delicious warm meal on the first evening (a Monday) of our vacation. When we saw the attractive restaurant from the outside, we thought nothing of going in. But we were intercepted at the entrance and asked in a harsh tone: "Reserved?". We denied this. We then received another: “Oijoijoi” and were then left standing there without a word. We can therefore not make any statements about the food or ambience, only about the extremely poor service. This somehow confirms the general view that, after the season, the hospitality industry no longer needs politeness, courtesy and customer focus. In any case, this restaurant has lost us as guests

We had a fish platter for 2, the fish was ok, side dishes were very poor value for money and was a bit expensive at €64. The service was a disaster, very unfriendly, special requests were simply ignored, and there were always sarcastic comments, which was very irritating. And at the end complained about urgent money. Unfortunately, with a dog you only get space in the last corner, you are really pushed away. And finally, people complain about the tip in an absolutely disrespectful way. The last visit to this restaurant.

The restaurant itself is pretty good, the ambience was nice, the food was a bit on the pricier side, but it was worth it. The Fischbrötschen were horrible however, especially the shrimp bread, we paid 7,50€ for 4 mickrige shrimps. Very disappointing

The pike perch with potatoes and sauce tasted relatively good, the potatoes were very hard and the sauce didn't taste like anything but the pike perch tasted quite good. Potatoes and sauce not recommended for the price. But service was quite good, which is why only two stars.

A very nice restaurant with some seating in beach chairs. The service team is very friendly and attentive to children. Drinks arrive quickly. There is also hardly any waiting time for food. Portions great. Taste very tasty. We'd love to come back :)

We went to eat at Fischers Fritz and didn't have a reservation, which was the first thing we were asked for. The entrance sign also reminded me of almost forgotten times in the GDR. YOU WILL BE PLACED. After a waiter came and told us if a table became available we could sit down. We did that after waiting for a while. The waitress who was serving in that corner scurried past and asked if we were seated. We said yes because we should take the next available table. Afterwards we were cut by the waitress. After about half an hour I picked up a menu that should actually be brought to the restaurant given this level. After another quarter of an hour, the waitress wanted to scurry past the table again. I stopped her and asked why she didn't want to take an order from us. The answer was I was just about to cum. Although others came after us and were served promptly. We had to wait. When we finally placed our order it was relatively quick. The kitchen can only be praised very highly. The food was tasty and very sufficient. My conclusion is: service poor, kitchen excellent. Although the food is very good with this service, you won't be seeing me again next year.

Food was forgotten and only served when asked, waiting time well over 1 hour! Unfortunately the plaice was burnt and the wrong side dish was brought, It's a shame, we had better memories of the restaurant.

This is our first time in Usedom and we immediately discovered a good restaurant. We were given a seat outside and the staff was very friendly. You can sit very well in the outdoor area, not a long wait, even though it was well attended. Recommended 👍🏼 we would love to come back.

The staff is very nice and the food tastes very good and is plentiful. We like to eat here when we are on vacation in Ahlbeck. Everything works even under the greatest stress!

Average range and quality of food. The service was a bit... well, talkative, but unfortunately rather rude and forgetful, very unpleasant if you want to linger and dine in a dignified manner.

We had a good meal here. There was local food with friendly service. For the children there was diagonally opposite. There was a playground about a 3-minute walk away, which we used.

We've eaten it for the second time now and it's always delicious. The restaurant is very child-friendly. The pasta with tomato sauce tastes wonderful, just like grandma's at home. 😊

We felt like we were in great hands and will definitely come back next year. Thanks to the team, it was a great lunch for us ;) and will be remembered.

The fish was tasty, everything else wasn't so good. Sweet and sour sauce for fish and potatoes doesn't go well with it and doesn't taste good at all. The schnitzel tasted very old and was inedible. Otherwise the service was good.

The fish was tasty, the fried potatoes were rather greasy. We had a table in the restaurant where it was very noisy at 9 p.m. with few visitors.

Food was good, home-style. You had to wait a little longer, but the atmosphere was nice. There is a wide selection. The only thing is, our dog didn't get any water but we didn't ask. But this is not a criterion for everyone.

Schade dass der Mitarbeitermangel überall in der Gastronomie zu katastrophalen Service Mitarbeitern führt. Ohne eine kleine Gedächtnisstütze in Form eines Zettels oder ähnlichem wurde heute zweimal nachgefragt welche Getränke oder Speisen bestellt wurden. Nach 45 Minuten für die Getränke und 60 Minuten kam das Essen, das nicht bestellt war. Eine Nachbesserung wurde kurzfristig erledigt. Die Speisen und das Bier waren in Ordnung. Auf den Hinweis, der Rotwein würde Moussieren gab es die Antwort, was das heißen würde. Ja, es ist Hauptsaison und in der Gastronomie fehlen Mitarbeiter, aber muss man sich alles gefallen lassen ohne das es einen Versuch gibt einen Fehler zu korrigieren? Ich denke nicht. There were 5 of us there today, July 27th, 2024, 2x children's meals and 3x adults Paid €96 with food and drinks Everyone was nice and accommodating, the service was quick and the food was ready very quickly Good portion size and everyone enjoyed it We had 2x children's menu nuggets with fries 1x farmer's breakfast 1x cod fillet 1x rum steak

Unfortunately the service and food have decreased massively compared to last year. The prices have, understandably, skyrocketed, but the quality of the food has plummeted. Waiters who roll their eyes in front of the customer, say cheeky things and even admit that the schnitzel, which last year was still accessible to children but has now been canceled, was always a frozen schnitzel. Potatoes that have been kept warm for ages, fish that tastes old. Absolute no-go. With food prices reaching up to €65, this shouldn't happen. We have been here regularly over the last few years, but can no longer recommend it at the moment. Are disappointed and horrified.

Service very nice and very fast. We were seated straight away and drinks were delivered quickly. My partner's fish was great, but my fish-free alternative consisting of seasoned meat and baked potatoes with quark was also very tasty.

The restaurant was very full, but they still found 2 seats for us inside. The food was very good, the fish was on point and the fried potatoes were delicious. The service was good and child friendly. We will be back.

Es war ein netter Abend. Das Essen war gut allerdings war es früher etwas besser. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, hintenraus hat der Service leider etwas nachgelassen
