Fisch Domke-Domkes Fischpavillon in Heringsdorf

Today we were disappointed. The mustard sauce for the pike perch fillet was not a sauce, pure mustard and was probably not seasoned. Zander fillet had a lot of bones. Staff today was not what we are used to. It's a shame, we drove specially from Bansin to Heringsdorf

Very little friendliness from the service staff. The fish sommelier should take the herring roll in Kamminke in the fish smokehouse as an example...the herring roll here is only worth 2 stars. Overall disappointing...more appearance than reality.

The food tastes very good and it is also plentiful. The woman at the checkout 🤔... well, she could be friendlier and at least say hello. But no matter, it was tasty and the shop is quite quaint 👍🏻

Very large, historically significant building, fast self-service check-in, excellent fish dishes from a renowned chef run as a family dynasty, in the heart of Heringsdorf, would go again at any time.

Service was super unfriendly. Food was good. The mood was okay.

Nice atmosphere, super tasty fish. The self-service was also great...the only negative point was that our food was swapped. But mistakes happen. Definitely coming back on your next Usedom vacation...

We were here years ago and it was really great. Unfortunately, at the beginning of October, things weren't so good. Too few side dishes on the plate, the food was too breaded and the potatoes were not cooked through with fried potatoes. In addition, it was really expensive for a simple meal. Too bad

I ordered a fried fish with fries. Cost: 14 euros. Every home-fried frozen fish from Igl... tastes better. Lots of breading and underneath a small dead fried pile of fish. An absolute no go for the price.

We have been here several times in the past few years and have always eaten quite well. Unfortunately not today. We had 4 different meals, none of which impressed us this time. Too bad! The fried potatoes were pretty bad. You urgently need to do something about the quality here.

Not good quality. The fish was frozen, breaded and the potato salad had way too much vinegar. Fresh fish tastes different. The service hardly spoke German. Not for us again.

Such a great fish restaurant.. it's self service and you get a "beeper". The side dish and sauces/dips can be freely combined. There is also fish to buy. We sat outside in the sun, even though it was a little chilly. The employee brought us everything we needed straight away and was super accommodating. Inside, the decoration and the whole fish hall also look really great. So recommendation!

Expensive, terrible service, food okay

An absolute must for every Usedom holidaymaker. Eating fish in Dohmkes. Only the room is worth 5 stars. Food and drinks are ordered at the checkout and then picked up at the counter. We ordered fried fish with fries and herring with potato salad. Plus a hearty dark beer (Fish has to swim). The fish was tasty and the side dishes were standard. The restaurant in Heringsdorf is the nicest, but there is also a Fisch Dohmke in Bansin and Ahlbeck.

We were there 2 days in a row. One time very friendly staff and the other day it was like that. The fish, on the other hand, is beyond any doubt. Large portions and very tasty. It's pretty quick and the place is nicely decorated. So if you could optimize that with the staff...

Apparently the local German staff are overwhelmed here, there is no please or thank you. Harsh announcements to customers and this use of silence is simply impossible. You might think they are forced to work, if I don't enjoy the job then I should look for something else. Only the foreign staff were nice and friendly towards the customer. We were very disappointed. Our food was carelessly prepared and tasted average. The herb as a side dish looked like a finished product and was not very seasoned. Our fish was dry and bland. We would have more for the money in a restaurant. Card payment at such prices would be appropriate, we have seen many people leave because this was not possible. For us there is no second time and we will not recommend it.

Huge portions for a normal average course!

Very good fish dishes, they are quick, tasty and there are generous portions on the plate. You can also buy fresh fish or smoked fish. In terms of price, I think it's a bit high for self-service, but otherwise the food price is right and it's not cheaper anywhere else given the amount of fish you get with the dishes. I think it's nice that you can choose whether you want boiled potatoes or fried potatoes or fries or... It's the same with the sauce, there's mustard sauce or dill sauce or... It doesn't look particularly inviting or comfortable, but that's not how it's advertised. It's clean. You can certainly come with several people, the restaurant room is large enough.

We bought fresh cod, fish soup and fish sandwiches here. Everything was super fresh and super tasty.

The food is quite good. The staff, on the other hand, was unfriendly and did not speak German. If you don't feel like working, it's better to stay at home. But something like that doesn't work at all in service in a holiday region.

Discovered by chance (and luckily!!) today - and tried it out straight away. Great atmosphere, self-service doesn't bother you at all because everything is extremely organized and well-rehearsed. Very nice service and really great tasty food. Large portions, the price is absolutely justified and not overpriced. A large selection of fish, fresh from the ice on the display into the pan, it couldn't be better. We'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is really unique and cozy. Our food was delicious and highly recommended. There was also a vegetable side dish on the children's plate. Really great! Unfortunately, the staff was tense and seemed a bit annoyed. Things didn't seem to be entirely hormonal between each other either.

With self-service, but the food is always cheekily prepared. Great to come back for the funnest holiday.

Even just before closing time at 8:30 p.m., everything on offer was still available and we were the last guests in the end. Thank you for your kindness, the delicious, visually appealing food and a great ambience! They saved our evening after we left the restaurant with an empty stomach after an eternity of waiting! Very nice atmosphere with lots of accessories and photos. Unfortunately, because of all the advertising on the wall, we expected a different quality and quantity of food. Unfortunately it was just ok.

Food fantastic. But a young, unfriendly waitress. No hello. And people look to me. I misunderstood something. Instead of explaining again. You get completely fluffy. The older waitress was nice. So go ahead. We come on vacation to Heringsdorf every year. Looking forward to next year.

Nice place. The fried fish was tasty, the salads were okay, a little different dressing and the potato salad had too much bacon in it for us. Nicely prepared. Self-service. Drinks good. Our purchases were great and everything was priced great. Since the tables are given away quickly when the weather is good, the staff can't keep up with cleaning the tables.

Terribly bad-tempered employees. Not a good mood. Food cheap and completely overpriced.

Not recommended, although it has a nice atmosphere but the listless staff doesn't fit. Displays are cleaned with strong-smelling sprays, and no one is interested in the fish dishes underneath.

Self-service. Service/cash register not exactly friendly. Two in-house beers Pils/Weizen - both without foam, same taste!!! “yellow broth” is a nonsense. Fish was okay, side dish below the norm. I can only recommend the fries.

Delicious fresh food! Unfortunately, the ambience is a bit uncomfortable inside. The service is rather unfriendly, you have the feeling that you are disturbing something as a customer.

As the name suggests, fish in different variations👌🏻. The dishes were absolutely delicious and very filling. Total recommendation is the Fischsoljanke with lots of fish in it🤩 although it is self-service but everything is perfectly organized. Unfortunately no 5⭐️ because card payment is not possible. I would expect that given the size and circulation of the restaurant.

Great restaurants with excellent fish dishes. Always freshly prepared and good portions. The holiday apartments are also lovingly furnished and always clean.

The herring fish roll was the tastiest I've eaten so far. The roll was freshly baked and freshly topped with lettuce, onions and herring. Simply delicious. The ambience was very appropriate and appealing.

Great restaurant in a quiet side street in the center of Heringsdorf. We sat sometimes outside, sometimes inside, both very pleasant. Very large selection of delicious fish dishes, there is something for everyone. We ate at Domke several times during our holiday week and were thrilled every time. The fish solyanka was spicy and very rich, just as tasty as the light fish soup with a subtle note of dill. The large/thick, fried cod fillet with - in my case - fish potatoes (a great, creamy mashed potato) was to die for. Likewise the juicy fried Baltic herrings with perfect fried potatoes. Likewise the fried eel. Fish sandwiches were fresh and generously topped. Domke is definitely recommended for fish lovers. You get a lot for your money. And we will come back ;-)

There are professionals at work here. The food is top notch, you can't complain at all. However, you should tone down your self-promotion a bit: “Schmusedom”??? Really now? Who came up with that? I was already embarrassed. Plus two TVs that are playing soundlessly trivial things like "Till Schweiger is chatting with the boss" (you can be glad that the loudspeaker is silent) or people who no one knows in front of the biggest fish soup, brawn or the biggest tuna? For what reason? In my opinion it is dispensable, you don't need it. And why have your own beer? It would be more honest to use the well-known varieties from MV or something from our Polish neighbors. All this nonsense only distracts from Domke's actual core competence. The fish pavilion doesn't need any of that: Domke can impress with fish, but no one needs the aforementioned or "Domke-branded" stools. What is missing, however, is a cashless payment option. Why doesn't this work - after Corona? It's not 1991 anymore. Everything else, for example the one with the penetrating TV, was also from today.

The mass processing that has become fish, more appearance than reality, not really clean, not really recommended. Speaking of appearances - and the arrogance of not accepting cards.

Food was very good due to inflation, slightly above market prices. Points will be deducted for failure to pay by card. Unfortunately, in the age of digitalization, it is no longer up-to-date.

FOOD GOOD, SERVICE NOT AVAILABLE We ordered two fish soups and they were perfect. Afterwards we wanted to order the main course and drinks (self-service with ordering at the counter inside). But that didn't happen because of the three women, only one seemed to be authorized to take orders. Authorized, yes, but not motivated - customers who wish to order are ignored. Even for a drink you would have to wait in line for several minutes just to be “allowed” to order it. We then decided not to attempt any further orders and moved on.

Tables dirty and leftover food on them. The fish burger was extremely charred and black even the 2nd time serving it. Never again!

Were here for the second time, at the "fish sommelier" We give everyone a second chance. Been disappointed again , have eaten better in a canteen 😞 The fish tasted of nothing, as if it had been frozen. This is just our opinion, everyone has to make their own experiences.

Never again Domke! Self-service! Only in the queue to order at the checkout do you find out: “no card payment” So: look for an ATM and get in line again! Snippy cashier. No fish cutlery in the fish restaurant! Plaice (21 euros!) fried for too long: almost hard and dry; lay ON the fried potatoes (you can't eat plaice properly like that!) mini blobs of barely definable red and white cabbage lying in a large pool of fat. Some fish snack bars can do all of this much better than this fancy shop.

Prices like in the restaurant, you have to get the food yourself and put the dishes down. Portions rather small for the prices. Unfriendly woman at the checkout. Cash only and it's the 21st century please!

The fish wasn't as good as many people said. Some of it was undercooked and lukewarm. The potatoes were overcooked. And for the price of just under 70 euros, for 2 ½ people is a bit much for the quality.

Delicious food and a great ambience, but friendliness and, above all, cleanliness leave a lot to be desired - the toilets don't work at all, leftover food under the tables, broken children's chairs. Service is practically non-existent because self-service is relatively expensive.

The (second generation?) owner seems to be a skilled self-promoter but the food isn’t up to par. The atmosphere is pleasant, open floor dining area. Screens showing the owner with various German B-listers (and Don King!) and getting news coverage for setting records for largest this or that get old quick. We ordered a range of options: Pommersche fish soup was creamy and dill rich, basically a chowder. The noodles with prawns were well received and a generous portion size (very shareable). Fish and chips looked like the better choice for children compared to fish sticks. Unfortunately, the breaded pieces of fish stuck to each other when frying and were still raw inside. When I mentioned it to the staff taking orders, they didn’t react, like I wasn’t even there. If you need another example for poor execution - look at their fish burger. Enormous patty with overly thick tomato slices - how can you take bit out of that? Less showmanship, more focus on product please. And card payment options.

The food was very, very tasty and is definitely recommended. We ate pasta with salmon and pasta with shrimp. Everything tasted fresh. The restaurant is self-service and therefore great prices for great dishes compared to other restaurants nearby!

The fish sandwich was very tasty. If you just look at the food, it's delicious. It's a shame that payment is only possible in cash. Unfortunately the restaurant is not that clean. Were here at lunchtime. Tables not wiped, dirt everywhere in the corners. Everything under the radiators is dirty. Overall the restaurant made a dirty impression..

Staff absolutely unfriendly... I would be careful with Usedom platter, the herring was inedible and smelled bad... and you could drive over the potatoes with a car. This shop is not a fish delight and not a recommendation!

Delicious fish dishes freshly prepared.

The fish soup was very thin and not much fish in it. The fried fish and fish and chips were not baked golden yellow, but dark and very fatty. The Cola Zero had a very strange taste. For me the price/performance ratio is not right. I prefer the fish snack bar at the Heringsdorf pier.

We (my son and I. Rita. -80- years old) went to this restaurant for lunch. Everything very hygienic and loving. Invitingly positioned 😃. The saleswoman, Ms. A., was very friendly and, in response to my question, recommended e.g. Smoked eel fillet to take away. My favorite fish for mine Palate. Then we dined Lunch. A great offer for me, huge 😘 and diverse. Was very tasteful The 🐟 fish boulette as well as the many salad side dishes. Pike perch fillet with fish potatoes I snacked on my son's plate. So first of all, SB, you have to make an effort yourself. But you can choose at your leisure or the friendly staff will advise you. Our fish (cod + salmon) tasted great. You can also take fresh or smoked fish here. Small items are also available in the store. However, the prices for this, olala!

We entered the restaurant with very high expectations, but quickly realized that they were not justified. Taking the order at the counter was very harsh and unfriendly. No please or thank you, not even the slightest hint of a smile. Instead, the rude note that card payments are not possible, which is no longer appropriate today. The tapas platter as a starter was quite appealing. My wife had tagliatelle with prawns in a cream sauce, which could best be described as tasteless. My "fish and chips" were more like "batter with fries" with the note: May contain traces of fish, All in all, the quality standards and price levels did not match the service provided.

Today we were at Domke in Heringsdorf, SELF-SERVICE! , the lady at the sales (nose ring) was extremely unfriendly! Be careful when sitting outside! We messed up two pairs of pants! Some of the chairs were not painted and were covered in moss! I would 100% prefer Uwe's fish restaurant in Ahlbeck! So be careful when choosing a restaurant!!!

No card payment possible - unbelievable in 2024...why? Who has that much cash with them? At the bakery around the corner, paying by card for small amounts is no problem! Food: well, the fish (cod fillet) was ok, the potato salad: too much bacon, too sour and the filling side dish of white and red cabbage reminds me of times gone by... My conclusion: if you want simple home cooking for a lot of money and bad service (we had to look for a clean table first), this is the place for you. It's a real shame because the atmosphere deserves better.
