Fish couldn't be better or fresher

The best fish dish I have ever eaten.

We wanted to eat a fish sandwich, but I advise against it. You can get it better at any folk festival or in any other snack bar. Rolls not fresh and the fish can be searched for. So no guests come, which you could actually see. Everything was empty and the employees didn't really want to be around customers.

We ate here again this year. Unfortunately this time it was rather mediocre. Zander with fried potatoes for 22€ was delicious, but the side dish of white and red cabbage looked very questionable on the outside, so I didn't even try it. Tagliatelle with shrimp and cream sauce for 16€ was very tasteless, the sauce was a tasteless soup... eat there You can get a lot better in the neighborhood for the same money...inside you can sit quite comfortably in the winter, this time outside in the "beer garden", which is a plain back yard and looks pretty rocky.. considering the price, it's rather disappointing, I find that bad 0, 2L of water for 3€, my pain threshold has been exceeded

Self-service, large selection of fish, great value for money, can be recommended

The visit itself was a nice experience, only the boss dampened the mood, which is a shame... The cooks did their fastest and best in the background, while the boss looked over their shoulders with her arms folded and didn't do anything herself!!! She put her nice colleagues under pressure with unpleasant comments. Afterwards, I would recommend the restaurant despite the serious drawback!

We went to Domke because of the "level of popularity" and were bitterly disappointed. I ate far better on my vacation. It's a self-service location, no problem for us at all, but the surroundings didn't fit. There was nothing going on that evening. The employees were waiting for customers. However, no tables were wiped down during the "customer-free" time. The dishes in the return pile were piling up. For me there is no such thing as a return visit to Domke. I hope his “notoriety” hasn’t gone to someone’s head. ;-)

Very nicely decorated in a maritime style. Food is of great quality. It's self-service, but I don't think it's a bad thing at all. We'd love to come back.

I got smoked stremella salmon and halibut, both were delicious. I always find it a bit questionable that you can't pay by card. The service was a bit rough but okay. The ambience does not invite you to linger.

I don't recommend this restaurant. In Ahlbeck you can eat better fish in other restaurants, for example in Uwes Fischerhütte. We came for dinner and placed our order at 7:45pm. No table service but we knew that. The backyard doesn't invite you to sit comfortably and looks a bit dingy. Unfortunately there was a very pungent smell in some corners and we had to change tables once. After waiting for 45 minutes, I went to the front desk to ask about our order. The kitchen is visible and it was only at this moment that the order was even processed, that is, our dishes began to be cooked. After a total of over 1 hour of waiting in a restaurant where only 3 tables were occupied, that's not possible for me. Salmon noodles extremely large portion, not manageable. Fish was fine with the other guests. We will not visit again due to the lack of ambience, long wait, lack of service and mediocre food.

A wonderful restaurant with a wonderful variety of fish. There are a lot of seats, so everyone can find a place for themselves, either outside or inside. Amazingly deliciously cooked cod with fried potatoes! Also very tasty Pomeranian fish soup. If you want to eat delicious fish dishes, then come here!

Absolutely unfriendly service and definitely not suitable for children. It was not possible to get half a portion of pasta for the child here. You get the impression that the “money signs” are in the eyes of the employee. Friendly inquiries are met with extremely unfriendly and annoyed responses. You expect something different from a renowned restaurant. Unkept, not comfortable outdoor area. It's a shame, there's no holiday feeling! We were also treated in such an impossible way when we asked for a holiday apartment a few days ago. There are similar restaurants and accommodations in Ahlbeck that definitely deserve a recommendation. Not this one!

If you like fish in abundance, this is the place for you. I can only recommend it to everyone, including fish sandwiches to take away...keep it up, you're great!!!

Great fish restaurant, and maritime furnishings. The fish flounder and zander was super tasty and to the point, and delicious fried potatoes. You can sit outside at the front facing the street, or in the beer garden behind the building. Clear recommendation!

Unfortunately, Fisch Domke has also declined. I've been coming to Ahlbeck since 2013. Fish Domke always had to be on the menu on vacation... but unfortunately the quality has deteriorated and the price increases are unreasonable and the staff at the counter should understand German better... but otherwise the staff is very nice. But I'm reducing my purchases. Unfortunately, like everywhere else in the imperial baths, profit is the only priority. It's a shame...soon conditions like those on Sylt and Norderney...

Stopped in for a little hunger in between and all four ordered fried fish with fried potatoes and a mixed salad. The fish was a complete disaster (a piece of frozen food with little fish and a lot of breading from the deep fryer), the salad smelled and tasted musty, and at completely inflated prices (14 euros), we are used to something different here on the North Sea .

But since we had just been in Heringsdorf, we went to the other branch of yours and took the bus (free with a spa card). saturated. Well, the potato salad is a challenge for the palate. Hard potatoes and a mix of many ingredients are not that kind to the fish. The restaurant has just been reduced to a fast food restaurant; it's a shame!!

Unfortunately I can't share the good reviews. I had fish and chips, the portion was OK, but the baked fish pieces were fried for far too long and were therefore very hard and dry. The fries were unsalted and unfortunately also very dry. Everything was very bland and tasteless. I've eaten better in some chip shops and received friendlier service. Never again!!

Hungry and excited, we entered Domke. The waiter's smile reminded us a lot of our ex-chancellor. Whether it was problems or dissatisfaction with work, it managed to push our good mood towards zero. To top it off, an order was forgotten and a beer wasn't charged - thanks for that. When it comes to the ambience, we fluctuate between a fish auction hall and a central German regional train station. As we left the restaurant, we positively noticed a friendly goodbye from Mr. Domke himself. So there is room for improvement.

I haven't experienced such a catastrophe in a long time. The poor staff with failing technology (receipt printer only prints half, how is that supposed to work???? See photo) and understaffed left them in the lurch. Great Mr. Domke, it's okay. Not! We've been waiting 1.5 hours for our food...nothing in sight yet...19 minutes before the shop closes...

Very disappointing. More appearance than reality. The fried fish roll for €7, with the lowest wholesale quality. Real profit is made here...

Domke in Ahlbeck - the fish rolls here taste absolutely delicious, the rest of the dishes are also fine. The staff are attentive and quick, both in the kitchen and in the guest area. The interior is completely fine, in contrast to the Domke branch in Bansin. But here too, the toilets could use an upgrade.

Unfortunately, the quality and selection has decreased significantly in recent years 😢😢😢

We are terribly disappointed. Have on March 4th. and 5.3. Bought a whole eel, eel fillet, 2x halibut, 1 whole mackerel, shrimp and several shimmer curls for almost 80€. Immediately placed in the refrigerator in the neighborhood around the corner and transported 3 hours home to Berlin the next day in the cooler bag with ice packs. The shimmering curls consisted only of skin, smelled and were very greasy! The mackerel was completely green and moldy inside, which was only noticeable when filleting it. Unfortunately not to us, but to the dear neighbors, it was a gift. The halibut and eel were okay, although they were also a gift and the recipient might not have dared to say anything. We are so humbled to have brought something for family and friends from such a reputable and prominent store. Unfortunately, the recipients didn't take any photos of the trash. We will definitely not enter this store again, my health is more important to me. Addendum to the assessment. The iridescent curls that we gave away were also just made of skin. In all seriousness, how and where did the flesh of the Schillerlocken go? Maybe scraped and sold on buns with curls? In any case, the pointed end pieces of the shimmering curls were neatly folded over and folded into the thicker piece. Viewed from above, a shorter but seemingly normal piece of curls. How the weight on the scales was raised remains the secret of the Asian employees. Never again Domke!

At the sea you actually expect fresh fish. The fried fish was frozen food with hardly any fish and too much breading. The fried potatoes were swimming in fat. The side dishes consisted of pickled red and white cabbage. Only the bacon salad was tolerable. All in all a very bad price-performance ratio! A pity!

We went there for fish sandwiches yesterday. The prices were high, a fried fish roll costs €7. The tartar sauce was delicious, and that was it. The bun was dry and clearly a baked bun. The fried fish looked like frozen and was completely over-fried and greasy. You really don't expect that in a fish shop. Today we had a fish sandwich from the Usedom fish factory. There are freshly baked rolls and the one with fried fish costs €5...

Parking spaces 5 minutes away, friendly staff helpful and you can quickly go out for a meal

In den letzten Jahren mehrfach besucht. Das Essen ist gut. Im Sommer sitzt man sehr gut im Aussenbereich. Ambiente einfach aber ok. Ein Service gibt es nicht. Man holt Essen und trinken selber. Wichtig ist; Das Essen schmeckt.

Wir waren bisher gerne hier, der Laden war immer voll. Heute waren wir die einzigen Gäste, alle anderen Restaurants ausgebucht. Das ist kein Fischtestaurant mehr, eher ein günstiges Asiabistro. Wir hatten 3 verschiedene Nudelgerichte, bisher immer sehr sehr lecker. Diesmal alle ein Reinfall, alle schmeckten irgendwie gleich, ohne Würze. Ich hatte Spaghetti in Chilli Knoblauch Öl mit Garnelen. Bisher hatte dieses Gericht eine schöne Schärfe und war super gewürzt. Die Garnelen waren gut gebraten, aber das Chili Knoblauch Öl hatte keinen Geschmack, keine Schärfe, kein Salz, einfach nichts, lediglich viele gebratene Zwiebeln. Die Bandnudeln mit Garnelen und die Bandnudeln mit Lachs. Alle Gerichte ohne Geschmck. Sehr schade, für uns passen die Preise nicht mehr zur Qualität. Sehr schade....

Sehr sehr leckerer frischer Fisch und einfach ein klasse Ambiente

Einfach ein Besuch erstatten. Gemütlich eingerichtetes Lokal. Auch im hinteren Bereich gibt es Sitzbereich und einen Innenhof.

Wollte heute nochmal ein Fischbrötchen essen, war aber geschlossen, obwohl online steht das geöffnet wäre 🤷🏻‍♀️ ... 05.12.23 Öffnen am 27.12. wieder !!! Auf das Salatblatt beim Backfischbrötchen habe ich dann verzichtet ... 03.12.23

Das Dorsch Filet hatte massenweise Gräten, enttäuschend für Filet. Rot - und Weißkohlsalat fanden sich als Miniportiönchen wieder. Wobei es aber an der Dillsauce nichts auszusetzen gab. Preis im oberen Bereich, es gibt bessere Fischgaststätten.

Leider nicht das was man erwartet! Liebloses Matjesbrötchen mit einem Salatblatt und zwei Zwiebelringen ohne Soße, Gurke oder was sonst noch möglich wäre! Die Fischsoljanka war ganz gut. Preise wirken willkürlich und völlig sinnfrei bis ins Wucherriche. Currywurst mit Pommes für'n 10er, Spaghetti mit Garnelen kosten nur einen Euro mehr als die Pesto-Variante!? Man wird das Gefühl der Touri-Abzocke nicht los! UPDATE NOV. 2023 Wir waren außerhalb der Saison die einzigen Kunden. Der asiatische Mitarbeiter war beim Bestell- und Zahlungsvorgang heillos überfordert! Sein Kollege bereitete zwei Backfischbrötchen (je 6,-€) zu, welche genauso lieblos aussahen und schmeckten wie die Fischbrötchen bei unserem ersten Besuch. Peinlich auch, wenn die deutsche Mitarbeiterin (evtl. Chefin) ihren augenscheinlich neuen Mitarbeiter lautstark vor den Kunden "zusammen faltet"! Vielleicht sollte man neue Mitarbeiter vernünftig einarbeiten und mit diesen auch angemessen kommunizieren! Das war dann doch unser letzter Besuch in diesem traditionsreichen Unternehmen!

Waren in der Woche um 19 Uhr noch im Restaurant. Sehr urig eingerichtet. Die ganzen Weltrekorde in Wort und Bild waren für meine Enkel total interessant. Sehr schmackhaftes Essen, auch für keine Fischesser. Wenn wir in Heringsdorf sind, müssen wir mindestens einmal zu Fisch Domke.

Authentisches Fischrestaurant. Leider in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Im Vergleich zu den anderen Restaurants ist es eher Bistro-Style als ein Ort zum verweilen. Toll ist die offene Küche und Auslage. Hier wird wirklich frisch zubereitet. Preise und Portionsgröße ist gut. Klassische Gerichte wie Ostsee-Bratfisch sehr zu empfehlen. Unser Pastagericht (Lachs mit Bandnudeln) war nicht gut. Viel Nudeln, wenig Fisch und wirklich schlecht gewürzt. Es wird Bier serviert mit dem Bezug: „Biergenuss wie zur Kaiserzeit“. Wenn der Bezug zu den Kaiserbädern gesucht wird, ist es ein schlechter Vergleich. Die Kaiserzeit ist wirklich nicht mit dem Begriff „Genuss“ zu bewerben. 👎🏻

Essen war lecker und ausreichend. Fisch Domke ist besser als der Ruf. Wir kommen wieder.

Man sieht den Fisch frisch und er wird von der Eistecke entnommen und direkt zur Pfanne.gebraucht . Mehr geht nicht ! Neben bei hat André Domke noch einen Weltrekord aufgestellt. Längste Bismarck Brötchen der Welt. 6,68 lang ! Respekt !!!👍

Die Portionen waren wieder wie früher und haben wieder satt gemacht. Wenn das mal bemängelt wurde, dann sollte jetzt damit Schluss sein. Wir hatte Bandnudeln mit Lachs. Es hat super geschmeckt.

Schade. Fisch Domke war eine Institution in den drei Kaiserbädern. Mittlerweile herrscht nur noch der Profit. Die Qualität hat deutlich nachgelassen, die Preise sind für ein Selbstbedienungsrestaurant zum Teil höher wie umliegende gute Restaurants mit Fischkarte. Das Essen ist ist in Ordnung, könnte aber würziger sein. Die vermeintliche Schichtleiterin weist lautstark ihre Mitarbeiter an und unterhält dabei den ganzen Laden. Eine entspannte Atmosphäre ist anders.

Das Selbstbedienungs-Restaurant ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die Preise sind explodiert und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hat stark nachgelassen. Nicht mehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben das Restaurant für die Zukunft abgewählt.

Trost SB kann das Personal ruhig höflich und freundlich sein. Das ist okay.

Es ist ein Restaurant ohne Bedienung, was völlig in Ordnung ist! Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut!! Als wir zum ersten Mal dort waren, waren wir allerdings erst etwas überfordert durch die vielen Tafeln, auf denen Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen und Beilagen aufgeschrieben waren. Da viel die Entscheidung schwer! Aber wenn man weiß was man will, ist alles schick! Beim zweiten Besuch lief alles einfacher.😊

Super lecketes Essen...null Service...eine Servicekraft schmeißt den Laden allein- Fischtheke Bar et c. - da währen mindestens mindestend zwei zwei Servicekräfte sinnvoll.

Dort schmeckt es wirklich lecker. Die Preise sind für usedom auch angemessen. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen. Es ist Selbstbedienung angesagt. Die Toiletten könnten sauberer bzw. gepflegter sein.

Wir waren letzte Woche dort und waren wirklich begeistert. So nettes Personal, Kinder- und Hundefreundlich. Das Essen war preislich voll in Ordnung und lecker. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder:)

Sehr schönes Fischgeschäft mit angegliederter Gaststätte. Die Ware ist super frisch und sehr ansprechend dekoriert. Es wird alles frisch zubereitet. Lediglich die Verkäuferin machte einen etwas genervten Eindruck. Aber vielleicht hatte sie nur einen schlechten Tag. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr frische und gut zubereitete Produkte. Der Laden hat einen maritimen wenn auch vielleicht etwas altbackenen Charme. Uns hat es jedenfalls gefallen. Bratkartoffeln und Pommes waren seht knusprig Außen und Innen schön fluffig. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und flott. Der Dorsch war sehr gut. Ebenso der gebratene Aal. Die Usedomer Tapas könnten vielleicht etwas vielfältiger sein waren aber Qualitativ top. Preislich war das Ganze zwar schon im oberen Bereich aber wenn man die Lage bedenkt und im Vergleich zur lokalen Konkurrenz vollkommen okay. Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Waren heute das zweite Mal bei Domke in diesem Sommer, da wir bei unserem ersten Besuch total begeistert waren von Garnelen in Chili- Knoblauch. Diese wurden von asiatischen Mitarbeitern zubereitet. Super lecker. Beim zweiten Besuch heute, das ganze Gegenteil. Das selbe Essen völlig ungewürzt. Die Garnelen geschmacklos. Ein Berg Zwiebeln und Lauch. Was sollte das?Zudem die extrem unfreundliche polnische Fachkraft hinterm Tresen. Richtig schade, da man mit grosser Erwartung den zweiten Besuch startete. Wir hoffen, dass die Qualität nicht von den Mitarbeitern abhängt. Wir werden erst mal Abstand von Domkes Fischrestaurant in Ahlbeck nehmen, da wir für diese Preise eine gute Qualität und einen freundlichen Service erwarten.

Pflichtbesuch, wenn wir in Ahlbeck sind! Gerne auch mehrmals im Urlaub, so sehr stimmen Preis-Leistung und vor allem die Qualität der Gerichte! Sehr sehr lecker!
