Erchy's in Berlin

This is my first time eating here. It's a bit pricey, but the food was good. I ordered the chilli sin carne and really enjoyed it. My friend ordered the French toast. The staff are friendly. It's a cosy place. I took the M1 ( Tram ) and got off at Zionkirchplatz to come here.

Definitely solid brunch but it didn't blow my mind. We had turkish eggs and french toast. The french toast was a bit sweet as a whole and lacked some balance. The Turkish eggs were good. The iced dirty chai latte was extremely tasty tho.

Delicious avocado toast. Nice interior. They forgot about my coffee, but oh well, that happens 😅

An incredibly stylish café with so much attention to detail! The atmosphere is modern, cozy, and simply perfect for relaxing. The food is absolutely delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The French toast was divine! 😍

Friendly service, but the food was disappointing.

Expat friendly place with great vibes. The menu is short - and that's a good thing i.e. you get a few high quality options that are very well selected, thought through and prepared with care. I can definitely recommend Turkish eggs (delicious!) and - if you feel adventurous - matcha tonic.

The food was very good, but the service was slow and inattentive. The price was rather high for the portion size. The restroom was not clean.

I love the french toast and pink bowl. Food is delicious serving is nice I felt quantity could be more but overall I loved it.

A very bright restaurant with friendly staff and great food. Ideal for brunch. The food is colorful, delicious, and healthy! We were impressed by the child-friendly approach. We will definitely be back!

The tomato soup was watery, the grilled cheese sandwich was burnt, and the "freshly squeezed" juice for €6 was laced with orange juice concentrate.

Very bad acoustics in the room which makes it very hard and stressful to communicate. The food is tasty, although quite small portions. The service is friendly and good.

Food is extremely overpriced for such a basic plate, like one slice of bread and scrambled eggs on it, no seasoning or sides, 11 eur baaam!

Really nice place, with a fairly laid back laptop policy, making it almost ideal to work from, except for the noise level which is very loud. I have seen this everywhere as being touted as one of the best places to work from, however be warned this is more of a brunch place and less of a "cafe". The food and the coffee are both really good!

We were bathed in sunshine at 11 a.m., and the waitress (Kim) was incredibly kind. The food (Turkish eggs) was a 10/10. Keep up the good work, and success is guaranteed 🥰

Wow! Truly delicious – lots of fresh fish! A fantastic breakfast/lunch in a relaxed atmosphere with a pleasant breeze from the window. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I was especially pleased that they even offer espresso and tonic – a great surprise! I don't know what else to add – I just really enjoyed it. 10/10 – absolutely recommended! (My only minor complaint: the knife could have been a bit sharper.) Finally, a little dancing to a popular track.

A very noisy place, always crowded. The food is not bad, the prices are good. We waited a very long time for a waiter, and the service leaves much to be desired. The table was wobbly, and there were a lot of bees on the terrace. I wouldn't come back again.

Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, we had to wait a long time for a seat. The table was dirty and only cleaned after we asked. Our gestures to order were ignored, and the waiter we spoke to simply explained that he wasn't taking orders and would send someone over. Despite another 15 minutes, no one came, so after a total of 45 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. Our complaint was met with a simple "Sorry, maybe a lack of communication"—no sympathy, just rude and disrespectful.

Just ate here a very nice and delicious breakfast. Although it was full, they did their best to help and please every client. I appreciated their effort. The staff was very nice and helpful. Totally recommend.

I have to say it was a truly delicious breakfast. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time to be served. The side street was also very quiet, which made the whole experience pleasant.

Unfortunately, the eggs in the "Turkish eggs" dish were pre-cooked and therefore at refrigerator temperature. I found this a real shame, and it didn't really make the whole dish tasty for me. The sourdough bread also tasted very hard and stale. The service was okay, but not particularly attentive. We weren't asked for a second drink and had to raise our hand several times to pay.

Breakfast with Style on Choriner Straße On a warm summer day, I sat outside – on the sidewalk in front of the café, which is charmingly separated from the traffic by a small wall. There are two outdoor areas: directly in front of the entrance and a little further out – both simple but cozy. Inside, it's even nicer: lots of plants, soft lighting, and a stylish ambiance. A place to breathe and linger. I had sourdough bread with scrambled eggs, salmon, and a pleasantly spicy sauce – truly delicious, served with a cappuccino. The price for the bread (around €15) was quite ambitious, however, given the rather minimalistic nature of the dish. No frills – but good quality. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The menu is intriguing: many healthy, creative options that you'll want to try them all. Conclusion: A stylish spot for a relaxed breakfast or a small lunch. Would I go again? Yes – but with so many great addresses in Berlin, it will probably remain a one-time, but wonderful encounter.

Modern, tranquil ambiance, very friendly hosts, and good service. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the portions for breakfast/brunch are plentiful. Everything is perfectly balanced in terms of flavor. The Americano could be stronger, but that's a matter of taste.

Cute spot and the food is delicious! Lots of gluten free options, including gf bread. And they have a to-die-for gluten free brownie that I will endlessly dream about. 10/10 best gluten free brownie in Berlin, and generally a really great spot for brunch!

My friend and I chose this place for Saturday brunch. Although the place was a bit crowded when we arrived between 12-1pm, there were still some empty tables. Sadly the crowds and the close proximity of the tables created some noise. I ordered grilled cheese toast with a fried egg. It was a delicious breakfast, with everything on the plate, even the mini salad! The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. I also thought the prices were a bit high.

The food was okay, but way too expensive. I paid €18 for a cheese sandwich and a juice. The portions weren't big either, so I was still hungry afterward... Wouldn't recommend this place for brunch.

I've rarely felt so unwelcome and disrespected as I did here (and it used to be one of my favorite cafes). If you don't speak English, you're not welcome. Even ordering a simple coffee in German wasn't possible, which is a shame because the coffee and pastries are truly excellent.

Great coffee and ambience. Have not tried the food but the place has a great vibe and their pastries, especially the pistachio croissant is excellent. Keep in mind that when sitting outside you are not allowed to have your laptop out, you can only do work indoors. It’s located in the middle of an old residential complex and not too far from the U trains.

I would definitely go back and try more things

This place was absolutely delightful! We had the Turkish eggs and Avocado toast and dirty chai yesterday for breakfast and it was so good we had to come back! The atmosphere is very nice and the service was excellent, I definitely recommend! Would love to know the recipes for both dishes!

We had breakfast here each morning of our Berlin stay (cafe is connected to the equally wonderful Circus Apartments). Great food, great coffee, fresh juice and pastries. Also a wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. Lots of neighborhood locals in a cheerful space.

Great for working or studying on a laptop, special tables and plenty of power outlets.

Have ordered a Granola Bowl. Was okay, but very pricey, with less granola, marmelade instead of the plum-compott, and 5 Blueberries. Was a bit sad because of my expectations though the price and the pictures. The Service was okay, the room very nice.

Two different breakfast dishes were disappointing, bordering on the rude. Only the latte was good. After complaining, a new dish was offered on the house. This one was better. Thank you.

Everything was fine, and the service was even very good. But it lacked that little bit of class - especially for the price. The waiter's comment that the dishes were large enough and that we should order more was really great. The ingredients were also very elegantly matched in terms of flavor. These little things were less great, but they added up: - The Americano was warm, not hot - One of the legs on the chair was missing - The place settings were prepared, the napkins were completely tucked into their envelopes and not visible - The dishes were well prepared, but only taken out of the refrigerator, which is why the temperatures on the plates are not right - The lighting in the restroom is poor, raising questions about hygiene. - The decor was once nice, but could use some love All in all, good - but for the price, it needs a bit more love and effort.

We went to eat brunch. The best than years ago. Excellent employee service. I recommend it without a doubt.

I’ve been trying all “the best” cafes in Berlin and this is without a doubt my preferred one. Perfect coffee, food, atmosphere, service. I’ve tried the whole breakfast menu now and often surprised and never disappointed.

Very strong breakfast! :) Addition after a long time - unfortunately it has lost a bit of its hidden and cozy ambience:( the food was no longer of the usual quality, hot drinks were more lukewarm than hot, service was a bit very stressed, but that's fine when there's a lot to do, but then it's noticeable. Grilled cheese sandwich unfortunately no longer in the bombastic quality as usual - only a B+ :), little salad, no loving presentation, no super tasty siracha mayo more pity! Still a nice place for breakfast but no longer the ultimate insider tip for friends

Perfect place for nomads. A working shared table in the weekdays. The menu is small but tasty, if a little pricey. The staff are super friendly, and very very dog friendly. My go to place for a working breakfast/brunch/lunch

We came by with our family for Easter brunch. The staff was really, really friendly and accommodating to two busy toddlers, the food was delicious, and so were the drinks, and the overall atmosphere was chill and relaxing. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Berlin.

Konnte mich im Berliner Dschungel erst nicht für ein Frühstücksspot entscheiden und bin überglücklich hier gelandet zu sein. Süßes Lokal, freundliches Personal, tolle Atmosphäre. Die Bestellung ging genau so schnell wie das Essen frisch zubereitet serviert wurde. Ich hab noch nie so ein gutes French Toast gegessen! Glatte 12/10. Werde bei meinem nächsten Hauptstadtbesuch definitiv wieder kommen!

A few friends and I have been traveling around Germany the past couple of weeks and landed at a great Airbnb in Berlin. We were looking for a place nearby for breakfast and were very pleasantly surprised at the food, service, and surroundings at Erchy's. It was less than a 5-minute walk and well worth it... everyone had something different but we were all quite sated! I'd highly recommend going there for breakfast or lunch if you are in the area!

Pink bowl was delicious, gave 4 because I would prefer if the potatoes were not cold. I don't know if this is a cultural difference only since in my country we don't eat cold potatoes. However, very creative and delicious food!

Rather loud, might be due to it being weekend. Service was very American style, a bit overexcited and overly cheery for my taste, but if that's your vibe you'll probably enjoy it.

Absolutely amazing food..... wonderful staff team.... Only in Berlin for 3 days and just had to go here for breakfast each morning to try the next thing on the menu. All delicious!

The food and drinks were delicious. The staff were very nice and helpful. The atmosphere was perfect. If you decide to visit, keep in mind that some things are pricey. Nonetheless I definitely recommend this place for a nice and tasty breakfast!!

We visited around noon on a Tuesday and got in right away with no waiting. I ordered avocado smash & egg, and cappuccino, and both were really delicious!! It was a peaceful and healing time because I was able to spend time in a free atmosphere with people using laptops, people reading books, and people talking. Above all, the staff were all really friendly, so it was a pleasant start to the day!🧚🏼‍♂️ Next time I visit Berlin again, I will stop by again.
