Came here on a Sunday morning with friends. We were greeted by the most amazing staff! Super friendly and outgoing. Loved the food, great coffee.

Eggs in the sandwich are not “real” eggs from chickens but it’s a scrambled eggs from liquid, no taste. I don’t recommend to go there. Cheese was poor quality as well. Food had been delivered fast but it wasn’t worth it. Coffee was tasty, same as orange juice.

The portion was generous, the flavors were great, and the avocado, cheese, garlic and sauce worked really well together. The service was friendly and welcoming.

This is Berlin’s favorite breakfast spot. They serve incredibly delicious saucy eggs on special bread. We’ve had breakfast at many places in Berlin, but this one is by far the best. I definitely recommend it.

I waited in line a bit when I went on Saturday, but you absolutely must try it... I'd say it's a delicious and filling late breakfast... I tried the avocado and garlic sauce one and it was fantastic... As you know, there aren't many different options in Berlin... you should definitely stop by here for breakfast one day.

My daughter found this place while looking for somewhere to have breakfast, and I'm so glad she did. The food is really delicious. The coffee was also very good. Interestingly, the coffee is usually good in Germany. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's even someone who speaks Turkish. I think you should definitely try it.

This was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Moist, packed with cheese, bacon and avocado, in a delicious brioche bread. Absolutely amazing! Katharina's service (who speaks German, English, Portuguese and perfect Spanish with a beautiful accent) was the best... quick and super friendly. A great experience. Recommended 100%!!

We went around 11 a.m. on Sunday morning and waited in line for about 10 minutes. It was definitely worth the wait because we absolutely loved it and it really kept us full all day. We tried the egg, cheddar, garlic, and avocado option. The flavors were delicious, and the bread was truly amazing. I'd seen reviews that said it "keeps us full all day," and they were right; we didn't feel hungry all day. I highly recommend it!

Small, standard café equipped with tables and chairs. We had to wait a long time for breakfast, which was okay because the place was full, but we also had to wait a long time for our drinks. That wasn't so great.

A lovely breakfast spot in the neighbourhood with calm, relaxing vibes and very friendly staff. The coffee was amazing - truly a great way to start the morning. We did have to wait a little longer than expected for the food, but the team more than made up for it by offering a complimentary matcha cookie as a goodwill gesture 🙂 And honestly, it turned out to be the best matcha cookie I’ve ever had - especially impressive since I’m not even a matcha fan! Overall, a really pleasant experience.

Overall it was a nice experience to come with friends. We were waiting in the line for about 10-15 mins in a raining day. I guess not too long. Then I ordered a nature one and it tasted good but it had too much sauce on it to be honest. The sandwich itself not sure if it was because of the sauce, was a little too sweet. Coffee was great! The whole area was packed and feeling a bit too crowded.

We tried Nature and Avocado, it was good. We didn't get hungry until 8 pm.

I'd been wanting to try an egg drop sandwich for a while and was really surprised because I'd imagined it differently. The texture was wonderfully fluffy, but I hadn't expected it to be so sweet. I found my combination very tasty, although definitely too sweet – less sauce would have been better (4 stars). My friend's combination was definitely lacking in seasoning. A savory sandwich that tastes only sweet? Bacon simply has to be salty. He gives it one star. Unfortunately, the ambiance is really unpleasant. Worn and sticky tables and hard chairs, all at an odd height... It seems like you're not meant to linger here (2 stars). I took a picture for Instagram and moved on. The Instagrammers were also really annoying – extremely loud and constantly taking pictures. Perhaps there will be another place like this, in a café style. A bit quieter and cozier, and then with savory and sweet options instead of everything being sweet. Then the high price would be justified.

The poached egg was very cold, no salt, no salad dressing...the food had no taste, as did the egg drop - cold eggs, the sauce was very, very sweet. Too bad

The eggdrop sandwiches were incredibly delicious and start at €8, which I think is reasonable. The pumpkin spice latte was also delicious and even I, as a non-coffee drinker, enjoyed it.

The best pumpkin spice latte I ever had, the spice was very present and it wasn’t overpoweringly sweet. Egg drop sandwich was also very good, the bread and sauce were on point.

I have never eaten egg drop before, and I quite liked it. The bacon one could have been better though. In terms of affordability, I find it a bit pricey to have a sandwich for 12 euros, but for a weekend brunch, it is ok.

I went here for the first time today with my young baby and my friend. I loved it!! Staff a very friendly and extremely kind! They also spoke English too which was appreciated! They were also very attentive and took extra care with my baby, thank you for bring so kind. Atmosphere was great in a pretty part of Berlin. We sat outside, so I had plenty if space with my pram. Food was so delicious, I couldn’t get a picture because I just kept eating! Would definitely come back and recommend!! Thank you!

If you’re looking for a filling brekkie, this is it. Fluffy/light brioche filled with egg, bacon and avo - can’t really go wrong. It needed some seasoning/salt and found the egg on the drier side…and the sauce a little sweet with the brioche. Not award-winning, but hits the spot.

The restaurant is very elegant and sweetly decorated. The service needs improvement. We waited 40 minutes for our food, which is quite a long time for a breakfast restaurant. Our waitress was a blonde who spoke mostly English and had long hair! Very unfriendly. When I paid, she just handed me the card reader and left. Without asking if everything was okay. We waited for her to come back, but she didn't. Very rude.

I really didn't find the food anything special. Unfortunately, the service (a blonde lady) was very unfriendly. All in all, we wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend this place. Mediocre food and unfriendly service.

The eggdrop sandwiches are a 10/10. The shop has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, and free water and a very good coffee. A shop run with love.

€12 for the Eggdrop was too much, and the coffee prices are also higher than elsewhere. The scrambled eggs had no flavor and were almost cold, the cheese was melted but had already hardened by the time we got it. The tables are uncomfortable, have sticky surfaces, and they also look very worn.

Very tasty food and great matcha! Free water is also provided. A small drawback: there's only one toilet, and oat milk costs 50 cents extra.

A good egg drop sandwich in itself, but the taste isn't quite comparable to the original from Korea. For my taste, the Broiche bread is a bit too buttery and fatty, so the other sandwich components are somewhat overshadowed or don't quite complement each other. Still, a great atmosphere!

The food was delicious, but the bill was terrible. The bill was completely wrong. I had only ordered one dish, but the cashier made me pay the bill for several dishes that cost three times as much as I had ordered. If I hadn't checked, I would have been forced to pay too much. Quite odd.

I had to wait in the queque to get a seat but it was worth it. I had egg drop ham, and it was delicious. The coffee was also very good. It's located on a side street with lots of trees, and it is a great place. I can't wait to go again.

I ate here in May 2023 and now, almost two years later, I discovered that my bill was accidentally charged twice. Unfortunately, I only noticed this now while reviewing old bank statements. I reported the error directly via email and enclosed proof of payment. Despite several messages and a deadline, I still haven't received a refund. The food was fine at the time, but the customer service and responsiveness when I had a complaint are unfortunately disappointing.

Was a great place. Not sure whats happened maybe new management, but i remember the sandwiches being very good. My experience and food today was average, nothing special which is a-shame as i came with friends visiting looking forward to it. Also the indoors lost a-lot of life feels like a canteen.

I came here on a recommendation and will always recommend this place for breakfast in Berlin. The sandwiches are fantastic. The portions are also fantastic. You can't get it without getting your hands dirty, but it's definitely worth it. Plus, the water you can refill is a huge plus in hot weather. I'd go back to Berlin for this sandwich and the kebab.

Delicious breakfast and great service

I love this place, have been going for years. Amazing egg drops, authentic with its own taste. What I find a small issue is the constant change of whether you should pay with cash or card. One time I come is cash only another time I come it’s card only. Consistency would be nice. However, that’s a small thing, and still does not take out of the fact that it’s a good brunch spot, with good coffee and drinks as well. ☕️ 🥪 Here is also the updated menu.

I now know why I didn’t go there for so many years 😹🙈 Unfortunately very underwhelming had the bacon and egg and the bacon was very wobbly and not crispy at all and taste was ok! Staff is very nice though!

Ive now ordered here few times and I cant recommend that. I get it that sometimes it could be a hit or miss but both times I ordered unfortunately the bacon was totally burned, and the bread was dry, it seemed as if the scraps were put in the ordered food. After first time I thought maybe it was just bad luck but it seems its just how it is with orders. Disappointing and will not order anymore.

44 Brekkie is always worth a visit because the eggdrop brioche is incredibly delicious and the food is served quickly. English is almost exclusively spoken here, but that's fine with me. Although almost every café serves eggdrop brioche these days, we all agree that it tastes best at Brekkie!

Brekkie used to be excellent and I was a frequent customer. Lately, however, the quality has declined considerably. I suspect the sandwiches are now made in bulk, as they often arrive barely warm with the cheese solidified. The consequence is that this is now just a so-so sandwich, and you can get better breakfast elsewhere in the area.

Hipster cover for zero substance, what an unfortunate waste.. The service was horrible, I had brunch with a group of friends and we were all very disappointed. The food was wet and cold, we waited for a long time, our requests were disregarded, and we felt like all they want is to look cool and trendy and take our money, without caring about the quality of either food or service.. We will not come back, there are so many other better choices around
