Food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Just some mediocre egg on some mediocre bread. We ordered two of them, unfortunately mine came out cold. Freshly pressed orange juice was plain too. Additionally they don‘t offer card payments🫠 Some tiktok famous food spots aren’t that good after all.

Definitely not worth it. Orange juice was diluted with water. Coffee portion very small for the price. The Brioche is actually okay, but you can tell that it could be much much better if they had some time to prepare with more care (for example the cheddar hadn't melted properly). But the total deal breaker is the atmosphere inside. The door is open practically half the time, either with new people walking in, or due to the Wolt delivery guys who don't even bother to close the door behind them. This isn't the place to sit and have a chilled brunch, it's fast food breakfast. Cherry on top, not accepting card payments. Not recommended.

The viral Eggdrop Sandwich was incredibly delicious - a perfect combination of fluffy bread, juicy egg and great flavors. You can tell that there is a lot of attention to detail here. I was also impressed by the store itself: great atmosphere, friendly staff and an inviting design. Absolutely recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Their sandwiches with egg, cheese, bacon and avocado in sweet, thick and soft toast bread are fresh and delicious. But other than that, there is no food option. There is not much seating inside, so if you go at a crowded time you may have to wait. Although it is a place to go if you come across it, it is a place where you will not need to get up just to have breakfast.

Always full but great breakfast!

A friend recommended this place and I'm so glad I made the trip! The cafe is located in a very nice street, and it was very pleasant to sit by the windows and look out onto the street. But most importantly, the food was very good (and not least Instagram-worthy). I ordered the Egg Drop Salmon Avocado and my friend ordered the Egg Drop Bacon Avocado, and we both thought it tasted amazing! The brioche bread was soft and slightly sweet, which went well with the salty scrambled eggs and salmon. The portion was big so I would say it is worth the price. In addition, the service was pleasant. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in Berlin!

It’s okay. Coffee is fairly small (and came out very lukewarm) for the price. The way the eggs are done is interesting but they are very rich, despite there being barely any bacon included. It is on a pretty street but I feel there are probably better options nearby.

Quick and easy breakky. Really enjoyed.

Well, the food is really awesome and yummy really like the bread and eggs inside. You really need to go there early, otherwise have to wait outside in winter haha. Inside it’s bit nosy, it’s not a place for you if you are planning to study there. It’s just for breaky as what the name of the restaurant says haha. Service is nice!

Absolutely delicious! The place is small but welcoming despite there not being much space between one table and another. They prepare various types of American-style savory breakfasts with bacon, eggs and avocado. The bun is very soft and sweet and contrasts with the savory filling. I would happily stay here again

When we arrived there was a line in front of the store, we expected that, but not the handling. People were given priority and if you sat outside you were served straight away, so there was no need to queue. So the queue was for indoor use only. All in all, the organization wasn't very well thought out. Unfortunately, the food was not very convincing. Everything was very bland and not very seasoned. The one star is for the basic idea. For the price and the waiting time, we definitely expected more there. Too bad!

INSANELY DELICIOUS! Yes, the wait is long but it's worth it. Coffee is also very tasty. Unfortunately, you sit on top of each other and it's super tight, which is why next time I'll come during the week and not on the weekend! :)

Delicious Egg-Drop Sammie, but as most hypes a bit overhyped! As we got there, there's been a large line in front of the store, so plan a 10 min wait outside! The line was moving fast, and staff was quick to seat us. Though there was a whole platoon of servers, it took quite long until our order was taken and even longer till it arrived. Sadly, we saw our food waiting 20 min on the counter but had no servers close-by to ask them for it. Even sadder is the fact that the same thing happened to the table next to us. Maybe they should think about their concept, I always feel like if there are already QR-codes on the table for viewing the menu, why not let us order online. That would take one duty of the back of the servers. In conclusion, the food is very tasty, but for a place basically only serving one thing with bonuses and having a lot of staff, we spent way too much precious time of our vacation waiting on hunger.

You can definitely eat it once, the bun is delicious, so is the filling, they arrived sooooo quickly. Everything gets wet quite quickly, along with the paper, but you can eat it carefully.

That morning I and my friend were starving for scrambled eggs and we decided to try it at this restaurant. The moment I tried a bite, I couldn't just express my feeling. It was beyond amazing. I couldn't stand the tastes of the medium-boild egg mixed with the delicious aroma of the bread. The space is quite lovely with pastel color as the main theme. Staff are friendly and supportive. We came the next day to try it again. :) It's been months away but I still can remember how good it was.

Bacon-Avocado and DoubleCheese and Garlic tasted good.

We walked by earlier in the week and saw a line, so we thought, 'why not?'. It was our last day in the city, and wow, are we glad we did. Every bite was absolutely delicious—so, so good!

The cafés in this area usually have completely overpriced prices, but I can really recommend Brekkie. The menu is small, but the food was very tasty and the price was okay. The waitress was also very nice. The tables and chairs are rather simple and, in my opinion, do not invite you to sit comfortably for long periods of time, but that is certainly a matter of taste. I would definitely like to come back.

Personally I found the sandwich delicious but too sweet for a „sandwich“. The eggs and the bacon on its own was good. But the sweet brioche with the sweetness of the sauce was overpowering. It was nice for one time. But I don’t think I will miss the experience.

Not worth waiting 40 minutes for egg in bread

We ordered food to take away. Regarding the food, it looked very tasty at the beginning (I had an egg drop with avocado), the egg was mixed with too much milk so that the whole brioch ban was soaked, and it was also very bland and not the best in taste. It looks delicious, but my expectations were disappointed

Due to the heavy crowds, the breakfast experience is somewhat marred. Reminds me of a supermarket between two public holidays. Of course the operator can't do anything about it. The eggdropp sandwich is good and so is the coffee.

Very tasty, really good shop for breakfast

We were there for brunch and had the avocado bacon and the double cheese, both unfortunately disappointing. The scrambled eggs were neither properly salted nor peppered and unfortunately not even lukewarm. The brioche slices were dry and way too sweet for us. The service wasn't bad, but it wasn't something I would come back to either. Apart from us, there were only 2 small groups outside that had already been served and a couple inside, and yet neither waitress came for almost a quarter of an hour. This Berlin thing of hiring people who don’t speak German is just annoying and isn’t “fancy or cool”. I have never been to a London café where no English was spoken because the waiters there only speak “German”. I wonder why they don't hire waiters who only speak Pashto. That would be something.

A really nice shop. The service is nice, the food comes quickly and is really tasty. Payment with cash or card is possible. But it may well be that the store is well stocked.

Recommend sitting inside to avoid the birds trying to get your food first

Way too overhyped. It looked good, but the brioche bun from the eggdrop sandwiches was so incredibly sweet that it drowned out all the toppings. It was like eating yeast plait. We didn't like it at all and it wasn't worth the wait. But the tea and service were great. The ambience was also ok, just a bit crowded and hectic, but that was to be expected.

It's tasty, but somehow not really that special. Very well attended due to the hype. We were lucky and didn't have to wait around 11am. When we left the store it looked different. - Queue at the door. EC cash only! Staff friendly, English spoken.

Hits the spot if you're looking for an indulgent soak-up-the-hangover kind of meal, with the sweet brioche bun and lots of sauce. Menu is simple and easy, since you don't have to choose between lots of dishes. The food came 30 minutes after ordering, which seems quite long for an egg sandwich. Nice enough, but don't think I'll be back.

The dough of the bread was all raw so we couldn’t eat it. When we told them they didn’t offer anything else or even a refund. We truly could only eat a few bites. And to be honest, the eggs didn’t have much flavour.

So I think juice for 5 euros is overpriced and unfortunately too expensive for the price as a lunch, I wouldn't recommend more as a snack in between maybe the overpriced nice area is justified...

Ate here for the second time. Ordered the first time, the food was ready quickly and also delicious. But was a bit blinded by the hype. We had breakfast there yesterday, it looked pretty sweet outside, but too cold. Totally loveless inside and loud clattering dishes as an ambience. Service quite unfriendly, I think it's just a day job, the main thing is to push for a tip when paying. We both ordered a bacon double cheese sandwich. The 1st 3 bites are delicious. Then just egg and dry bread, the sauce was skimpy. You have to like the sweet brioche with the egg. By the way, the end of the song is an upset stomach, which came a few hours after consumption. Until the evening you could still taste the egg when you burped it. Even when you tried to eat again, you tasted egg when you burped. It was still sitting in the stomach and wasn't digested.

Minimalistic place, great for a fast breakfast. The staff were very friendly and we got our food in less than 5 minutes. The food was good, we got the Bacon Double Cheese Garlic.

In itself a good egg drop sandwich, but the taste is not quite comparable to the original from Korea. For my taste, the broiche bread has a bit too strong a buttery taste and is fatty, so that the other sandwich components are a bit lost or don't quite complement each other. After all, a successful ambience!

I couldn't wait to try the Eggdrop Sandwich at Brekkie 44 and I wasn't disappointed! I chose the classic version and it was simply delicious. The combination of fresh ingredients and the perfect egg exceeded my expectations. I treated myself to an iced matcha latte, which was also excellent - refreshing and well balanced! Although we had to queue briefly as it was a bit busy, we were quickly shown to a table. The price-performance ratio is okay, but normal for a big city (€8 for the classic drop sandwich). The drinks came quickly and the staff was extremely friendly. You immediately notice that you are in a big city because people speak to you in English - welcome to the big city! The ambience is inviting and the atmosphere is lively. Overall, a great experience that I can recommend to everyone. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We were completely satisfied. Delicious egg drop sandwiches and good coffee. The staff was very friendly and we got a seat straight away on a Sunday lunchtime. So the store is definitely worth the hype! The sauce is particularly recommended. The only thing we didn't like was the background noise! Otherwise great

Good sandwich to eat at breakfast, we waited 10 minute at Saturday morning. Price is 10 euro for one sandwich, it is quite expensive. We paid 27.60 for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees

The restaurant does not have a very wide variety of options. But this is irrelevant given the quality of the options we have available! The double cheese bacon is amazing! The coffee options are also surprising. The service was excellent. It was busy and I had to wait approximately 5/10 minutes to get a table (Saturday at 2pm). Service can be a little slow from the impression I had depending on demand and capacity, but everything was ok for me, with no delays or errors in my order. The place is popular on recommendation sites and is located in a very beautiful, residential area and close to a very beautiful and varied street fair. It’s worth the experience, especially outdoors!

Best eggdrop sandwich in Berlin! There is nothing comparable in terms of taste, appearance, ambience and the friendliness of the staff. Super nice people! We were only able to talk to them in English, but perhaps there are German speakers for those who aren't very good at English. Clear recommendation!

Had their brioche quite few times before and considered it as a quality place, but today made a home delivery and it was such a bad experience, bread is dry, layers of egg cheeses was thrown inside without consideration, like a macdonalds meal, eggs and cheese is fatty and only give you heaviness in stomach. I guess when place goes mainstream quality is going down.

The prices are overpriced. Two slices of toast with scrambled eggs. The slices taste sweet and the eggs unfortunately taste very bland. The coffee tastes sour, not my taste, the matcha works, but the Earl Gray tea was delicious.

Gonca, the owner, has become a friend of mine, and you can truly feel the love she’s put into this brunch spot. The food is exceptional, and it’s such a refreshing change from the usual in Berlin. Each of her "Brekkie 44" locations has its own unique decor and vibe, making every visit feel special. The service is quick, and Gonca herself is incredibly kind—I can even message her just an hour before on WhatsApp to ask for a table! This place is highly professional and absolutely delicious.

The 44brekkie in Berlin is an absolute highlight for breakfast lovers! The cozy atmosphere combined with creatively prepared dishes leaves nothing to be desired. The service is friendly and attentive, making the visit a completely successful experience. A perfect place to start the day!

I wouldn’t recommend it… 4,90€ for that small cup of juice I marked. It’s a serious but sad rip off! all drinks are ridiculously small plus full of ice. Food was ok, not much flavour, the egg was just plain, that secret sauce takes all the taste, and sadly there’s no other option for bread or other kind of style of sandwich. I wouldn’t say this is a brunch place….but a sandwich store with wannabe hipster vibe in Prenzlauer-Berg….

Food is delicious, but the wrong thing was brought to me, we only speak English, I don't understand why, we live in Germany. The price is already high, so we won't come here a second time. Indirect is the white bread with egg and a sauce with cheese. Waiting time until food arrives is about 20-25 minutes. Hot chocolate is water not milk, for €4.50 it's a lot... I think €2.50 would be appropriate for that. You have to get cutlery yourself because the waitress probably thinks you don't need it or don't have the time. Otherwise friendly, payment by card is possible. The tables are not really cleaned hygienically and should definitely be done better.
