Crowdy and tightly inside, you can’t pass between tables without touching both of them. Service was nothing special, we were not even asked if the food was okay. The food itself was good, but not warm at all. Also I’m not sure why we didn’t get any fiscalized receipt…?

Not worth the money. Sandwiches are boring, egg is not seasoned. Service is fast fast, nothing personal.

Eggdrops are highly recommended. Despite standing in line, everything went very smoothly. The service was very helpful and organized. 😊

The short-haired lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and has a very good service attitude. The dining process is very pleasant and the overall atmosphere is very warm.

The egg drop sandwiches are quite delicious though the cheese was not melted all the way. The aperol spiritz was bit too expensive imo. Coffee was also good. Overall, good service good food.

Definitely go early, the sandwich was great, eggs were juicy and fluffy, bread was soft and crisp, portions were big and filling.

Food was very tasty, the vibe was good too. Even though it was quite busy, we were helped quickly. The staff was not very customer friendly, especially one of the staff members. This did affect our entire experience of this 44 brekkie location.

We had the bacon avocado sandwich and the salmon avocado sandwich. Visually they were attractively designed, but the taste was not convincing. Too sweet for a savory breakfast and not enough salt for balance. You can save money, there are plenty of other nice cafes on the street…

I don't understand the hype that has existed for a long time. It's an EGG sandwich, without anything spectacular. It was tasty but nothing special. Only cash payment and only English, Prenzlauer Berg in a nutshell :D

I had eggdrop with ham, it was so delicious. I really like the sauce. It is a cozy place. I drank americano, it wasn't the best americano I've ever had but it was OK. The staff were kind.

Their bread resembles sweet uno bread, it was not baked well, we did not like it very much. I can't say it's bad, but it's not tasty either.

A hyped food spot that you can recommend with a clear conscience and a few caveats. The coffee tasted delicious, but nothing unusual anymore when using a portafilter machine. The two egg drop sandwiches were also convincing and were something different. The sweet sauce on the sandwich isn't for everyone, but you could leave that out next time. What's a bit of a shame is that the restaurant is really nicely decorated, but the tables are a bit close to each other. Of course, we are happy for the café when all the seats are full, but this can also seem like “mass processing” to the visitor. In terms of price, it's a bit more expensive, but okay for an irregular visit.

Cards are not accepted here. They only work cash. They're probably doing tax evasion. Don't go here, friends.

I really don’t understand the hype of this place. It is just a bun with scrammed eggs and some extras. It tastes normal, just like it should. Place is very busy, very loud, tables very close, customers typical Prenzlauer Berg or expats. I wanted to leave the place as soon as possible, as the atmosphere was not like relaxed brunch, but quick fast food. Service was quite chaotic. Ah! And you have to pay by CASH - actually all fancy hipster wannabe Bruch places on the street ask for CASH only. So strange … It is nice to try it, but neither atmosphere nor food, nor service deserve 5 stars for me.

Sandwich was pretty good but the light orange sauce is unfortunately trying to do wayyy too much!! It was too sweet and artificial, and ruined the balance of flavors. Maybe it would be better if there were a variety of sauces offered, and offered on the side and not directly drizzled and served on the sandwich 💔

I order here from time to time, but I think it's a shame that you can only order from Wolt. In terms of fees, Uber Eats is still relatively affordable compared to Wolt and would then be a reason for me to order more often.

We had a very delicious Sunday morning. There was a long queue, but luckily our turn came in 10-12 minutes, but the queue got quite long after us. You have to be willing to wait in line. The flavors were delightful, and the oat milk latte was a great combination. I would like to spend more time during the week. I couldn't fully enjoy the crowd, we moved quickly to make room for others, and I felt a little pressure. But the atmosphere is perfect

I was lucky and didn't have to wait for a seat. 12 euros for a sandwich is tough, but it's delicious. It's definitely worth trying, it's also very filling. If it weren't for the high price, I would also give 5 stars..

Oh well. The sandwich's filling (eggs, cheese, avocado) was tasty, but the brioche was wet. Coffee latte tasted very strange, maybe it was the milk. Overall: unfortunately it's not worth the money + no card payment, although Google Maps says you can also pay by card. *Service is good though, everyone is friendly and nice.

Today I visited 44 Brekkie for the first time and it did not disappoint my expectations. From the quality of the food to the service, everything was of an excellent standard. I will definitely go back. Payment only in cash.

We ordered a fresh orange juice for 5€ that in the end was a small glass with cheap bottle juice and a huge ice cube in it. Also the sandwich was cold and the scrambled eggs in it were not freshly prepared. Instead I think they kept them warm over a long time. I even doubt that they use fresh eggs at all. I really cannot recommend going here.

I was served super quickly and with great care! I didn't wait 5 minutes for my food or drinks. The Bacon Garlic Sandwich is absolutely delicious, but doesn't really fill you up when you're hungry and is a bit expensive. But I would come again :-) You pay €15-20 depending on the drink alone, so it's a luxury for a snack

It’s okay. Coffee is fairly small (and came out very lukewarm) for the price. The way the eggs are done is interesting but they are very rich, despite there being barely any bacon included. It is on a pretty street but I feel there are probably better options nearby.

There was a long line so you had to wait. The sandwich tasted okay, but in my opinion it wasn't worth all the hype. Unfortunately the coffee was a disappointment - I had the impression that the milk had expired. Overall, I think you can have a better breakfast in many other places.

Long waiting times and really small tables but the food was good

Very tasty, there was nothing to complain about, we loved the taste! You'll be taken in right away, the staff are super friendly, thank you very much and keep it up!

Although the portions seem small for breakfast, scrambled eggs on buttered bread (some with additional ingredients are also available) are a truly delicious option. I must mention that their sauces are also delicious.

If you like the mixture of sweet and salty, it has menus just right for you. A full plate comes. Orange juice was freshly squeezed. Cash only work is annoying. You may have to wait in line.

Food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Just some mediocre egg on some mediocre bread. We ordered two of them, unfortunately mine came out cold. Freshly pressed orange juice was plain too. Additionally they don‘t offer card payments🫠 Some tiktok famous food spots aren’t that good after all.

Definitely not worth it. Orange juice was diluted with water. Coffee portion very small for the price. The Brioche is actually okay, but you can tell that it could be much much better if they had some time to prepare with more care (for example the cheddar hadn't melted properly). But the total deal breaker is the atmosphere inside. The door is open practically half the time, either with new people walking in, or due to the Wolt delivery guys who don't even bother to close the door behind them. This isn't the place to sit and have a chilled brunch, it's fast food breakfast. Cherry on top, not accepting card payments. Not recommended.

The viral Eggdrop Sandwich was incredibly delicious - a perfect combination of fluffy bread, juicy egg and great flavors. You can tell that there is a lot of attention to detail here. I was also impressed by the store itself: great atmosphere, friendly staff and an inviting design. Absolutely recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

Their sandwiches with egg, cheese, bacon and avocado in sweet, thick and soft toast bread are fresh and delicious. But other than that, there is no food option. There is not much seating inside, so if you go at a crowded time you may have to wait. Although it is a place to go if you come across it, it is a place where you will not need to get up just to have breakfast.

Always full but great breakfast!

A friend recommended this place and I'm so glad I made the trip! The cafe is located in a very nice street, and it was very pleasant to sit by the windows and look out onto the street. But most importantly, the food was very good (and not least Instagram-worthy). I ordered the Egg Drop Salmon Avocado and my friend ordered the Egg Drop Bacon Avocado, and we both thought it tasted amazing! The brioche bread was soft and slightly sweet, which went well with the salty scrambled eggs and salmon. The portion was big so I would say it is worth the price. In addition, the service was pleasant. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in Berlin!

Well, the food is really awesome and yummy really like the bread and eggs inside. You really need to go there early, otherwise have to wait outside in winter haha. Inside it’s bit nosy, it’s not a place for you if you are planning to study there. It’s just for breaky as what the name of the restaurant says haha. Service is nice!

Absolutely delicious! The place is small but welcoming despite there not being much space between one table and another. They prepare various types of American-style savory breakfasts with bacon, eggs and avocado. The bun is very soft and sweet and contrasts with the savory filling. I would happily stay here again

When we arrived there was a line in front of the store, we expected that, but not the handling. People were given priority and if you sat outside you were served straight away, so there was no need to queue. So the queue was for indoor use only. All in all, the organization wasn't very well thought out. Unfortunately, the food was not very convincing. Everything was very bland and not very seasoned. The one star is for the basic idea. For the price and the waiting time, we definitely expected more there. Too bad!

Delicious Egg-Drop Sammie, but as most hypes a bit overhyped! As we got there, there's been a large line in front of the store, so plan a 10 min wait outside! The line was moving fast, and staff was quick to seat us. Though there was a whole platoon of servers, it took quite long until our order was taken and even longer till it arrived. Sadly, we saw our food waiting 20 min on the counter but had no servers close-by to ask them for it. Even sadder is the fact that the same thing happened to the table next to us. Maybe they should think about their concept, I always feel like if there are already QR-codes on the table for viewing the menu, why not let us order online. That would take one duty of the back of the servers. In conclusion, the food is very tasty, but for a place basically only serving one thing with bonuses and having a lot of staff, we spent way too much precious time of our vacation waiting on hunger.

You can definitely eat it once, the bun is delicious, so is the filling, they arrived sooooo quickly. Everything gets wet quite quickly, along with the paper, but you can eat it carefully.

That morning I and my friend were starving for scrambled eggs and we decided to try it at this restaurant. The moment I tried a bite, I couldn't just express my feeling. It was beyond amazing. I couldn't stand the tastes of the medium-boild egg mixed with the delicious aroma of the bread. The space is quite lovely with pastel color as the main theme. Staff are friendly and supportive. We came the next day to try it again. :) It's been months away but I still can remember how good it was.

The cafés in this area usually have completely overpriced prices, but I can really recommend Brekkie. The menu is small, but the food was very tasty and the price was okay. The waitress was also very nice. The tables and chairs are rather simple and, in my opinion, do not invite you to sit comfortably for long periods of time, but that is certainly a matter of taste. I would definitely like to come back.

Personally I found the sandwich delicious but too sweet for a „sandwich“. The eggs and the bacon on its own was good. But the sweet brioche with the sweetness of the sauce was overpowering. It was nice for one time. But I don’t think I will miss the experience.

We ordered food to take away. Regarding the food, it looked very tasty at the beginning (I had an egg drop with avocado), the egg was mixed with too much milk so that the whole brioch ban was soaked, and it was also very bland and not the best in taste. It looks delicious, but my expectations were disappointed

Not worth waiting 40 minutes for egg in bread

Due to the heavy crowds, the breakfast experience is somewhat marred. Reminds me of a supermarket between two public holidays. Of course the operator can't do anything about it. The eggdropp sandwich is good and so is the coffee.

Very tasty, really good shop for breakfast

We were there for brunch and had the avocado bacon and the double cheese, both unfortunately disappointing. The scrambled eggs were neither properly salted nor peppered and unfortunately not even lukewarm. The brioche slices were dry and way too sweet for us. The service wasn't bad, but it wasn't something I would come back to either. Apart from us, there were only 2 small groups outside that had already been served and a couple inside, and yet neither waitress came for almost a quarter of an hour. This Berlin thing of hiring people who don’t speak German is just annoying and isn’t “fancy or cool”. I have never been to a London café where no English was spoken because the waiters there only speak “German”. I wonder why they don't hire waiters who only speak Pashto. That would be something.

A really nice shop. The service is nice, the food comes quickly and is really tasty. Payment with cash or card is possible. But it may well be that the store is well stocked.
