I have never eaten egg drop before, and I quite liked it. The bacon one could have been better though. In terms of affordability, I find it a bit pricey to have a sandwich for 12 euros, but for a weekend brunch, it is ok.

I went here for the first time today with my young baby and my friend. I loved it!! Staff a very friendly and extremely kind! They also spoke English too which was appreciated! They were also very attentive and took extra care with my baby, thank you for bring so kind. Atmosphere was great in a pretty part of Berlin. We sat outside, so I had plenty if space with my pram. Food was so delicious, I couldn’t get a picture because I just kept eating! Would definitely come back and recommend!! Thank you!

If you’re looking for a filling brekkie, this is it. Fluffy/light brioche filled with egg, bacon and avo - can’t really go wrong. It needed some seasoning/salt and found the egg on the drier side…and the sauce a little sweet with the brioche. Not award-winning, but hits the spot.

The restaurant is very elegant and sweetly decorated. The service needs improvement. We waited 40 minutes for our food, which is quite a long time for a breakfast restaurant. Our waitress was a blonde who spoke mostly English and had long hair! Very unfriendly. When I paid, she just handed me the card reader and left. Without asking if everything was okay. We waited for her to come back, but she didn't. Very rude.

The eggdrop sandwiches are a 10/10. The shop has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, and free water and a very good coffee. A shop run with love.

€12 for the Eggdrop was too much, and the coffee prices are also higher than elsewhere. The scrambled eggs had no flavor and were almost cold, the cheese was melted but had already hardened by the time we got it. The tables are uncomfortable, have sticky surfaces, and they also look very worn.

Food was amazing. People were lovely. It was very clean and stylish. The waitresses were great and spoke mainly English (which we appreciated!) would definitely go back if I went to Berlin again!

A good egg drop sandwich in itself, but the taste isn't quite comparable to the original from Korea. For my taste, the Broiche bread is a bit too buttery and fatty, so the other sandwich components are somewhat overshadowed or don't quite complement each other. Still, a great atmosphere!

Brekkie is a lovely shop with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is delicious, whether it's breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The service is also excellent, with friendly staff. However, payments are cash only.

I had to wait in the queque to get a seat but it was worth it. I had egg drop ham, and it was delicious. The coffee was also very good. It's located on a side street with lots of trees, and it is a great place. I can't wait to go again.

I ate here in May 2023 and now, almost two years later, I discovered that my bill was accidentally charged twice. Unfortunately, I only noticed this now while reviewing old bank statements. I reported the error directly via email and enclosed proof of payment. Despite several messages and a deadline, I still haven't received a refund. The food was fine at the time, but the customer service and responsiveness when I had a complaint are unfortunately disappointing.

Tasty egg sandwiches. It would be good to be able to add some vegetables to it but it was not possible. A bit overpriced but they can afford it since there is always a big line of people waiting. The peach iced tea was fantastic

Was a great place. Not sure whats happened maybe new management, but i remember the sandwiches being very good. My experience and food today was average, nothing special which is a-shame as i came with friends visiting looking forward to it. Also the indoors lost a-lot of life feels like a canteen.

I came here on a recommendation and will always recommend this place for breakfast in Berlin. The sandwiches are fantastic. The portions are also fantastic. You can't get it without getting your hands dirty, but it's definitely worth it. Plus, the water you can refill is a huge plus in hot weather. I'd go back to Berlin for this sandwich and the kebab.

I now know why I didn’t go there for so many years 😹🙈 Unfortunately very underwhelming had the bacon and egg and the bacon was very wobbly and not crispy at all and taste was ok! Staff is very nice though!

I love this place, have been going for years. Amazing egg drops, authentic with its own taste. What I find a small issue is the constant change of whether you should pay with cash or card. One time I come is cash only another time I come it’s card only. Consistency would be nice. However, that’s a small thing, and still does not take out of the fact that it’s a good brunch spot, with good coffee and drinks as well. ☕️ 🥪 Here is also the updated menu.

Ive now ordered here few times and I cant recommend that. I get it that sometimes it could be a hit or miss but both times I ordered unfortunately the bacon was totally burned, and the bread was dry, it seemed as if the scraps were put in the ordered food. After first time I thought maybe it was just bad luck but it seems its just how it is with orders. Disappointing and will not order anymore.

44 Brekkie is always worth a visit because the eggdrop brioche is incredibly delicious and the food is served quickly. English is almost exclusively spoken here, but that's fine with me. Although almost every café serves eggdrop brioche these days, we all agree that it tastes best at Brekkie!

Simple menu with a focus on egg drops and drinks. The sandwich, with its fluffy brioche and delicious filling, tastes great and is more filling than you'd expect. A great breakfast spot for a great start to the day :D

Brekkie used to be excellent and I was a frequent customer. Lately, however, the quality has declined considerably. I suspect the sandwiches are now made in bulk, as they often arrive barely warm with the cheese solidified. The consequence is that this is now just a so-so sandwich, and you can get better breakfast elsewhere in the area.

The brekkie is highly recommended. A beautifully presented and delicious meal. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch. However, I only give the service 4 stars because only English is spoken there. It's not a problem for me, but it does affect many people. You can only pay with cash!

Hipster cover for zero substance, what an unfortunate waste.. The service was horrible, I had brunch with a group of friends and we were all very disappointed. The food was wet and cold, we waited for a long time, our requests were disregarded, and we felt like all they want is to look cool and trendy and take our money, without caring about the quality of either food or service.. We will not come back, there are so many other better choices around

A top-notch breakfast for egg lovers. Very tasty, very friendly service, but only English-speaking. The menu is also only in English for tourists. Not very customer-friendly. The worst part: cash only. That's unacceptable given the prices. You're directed to an ATM 10 meters away, where a Girocard withdrawal costs €6. That's a bit fishy.

Absolutely fantastic egg drops. You may have to queue up since they tend to be quite busy. However, service is usually quick and you should be able to get a seat fairly quickly. The brownie was delicious as well and so was the coffee. The only negative thing about the establishment is that they are cash only which is bonkers for 2025. Just one of those peculiar Berlin things you got to complain about.

If you like your savory food sweeter, this is for you; personally, it was too sweet for me. The drinks were very small (iced latte and flat white). The service was okay. The waitresses were friendly. No salt or pepper was offered. The ambiance was simple. All in all, it was okay, but not worth the price.

The iced cappuccino wasn't very tasty either, and at €4.50, it was also very small (came in a water glass). You had to pay extra for a milk alternative, and card payments weren't accepted either; only cash.

I had breakfast with avocado egg drop and orange juice. Avocado is completely unnecessary, don't pay 2 Euros more for nothing. The taste of the sandwich was very good. The freshness of the bread and especially the sauce on it were incredibly good. The orange juice was also very good. I took off a star because of the price.

Great brunch experience in Pankow! I was at 44 Brekkie a week ago – and I was absolutely thrilled! The food was fresh, creative, and incredibly delicious (especially the combination with salmon and scrambled eggs – a dream 😍). The service was attentive and friendly, and you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and modern, only a little bit loud when it's busy – otherwise, it's great.

We waited in line for 15-20 minutes to be seated. We didn't choose to sit inside, but we regretted it because flies were constantly landing on the table we sat outside. The service is very slow (we waited 40-45 minutes after sitting down), and being kept waiting for breakfast for so long as the first meal of the day really makes you unhappy. But the plate that arrived was just as delicious. The egg, the slightly sweet taste from the bread, the freshness of the salmon and the harmony of the avocado all came together.

The hype doesn't justify the prices. It's a solid place, but the sandwiches are quite expensive. I would recommend just ordering a regular egg sandwich; any extras are disproportionate to the higher price.

So...Saturday lunchtime, cup final in Berlin, it feels like everyone is here, but they say it's always busy. Long line but only a short wait, which was okay, the staff are really very attentive and pleasant. I hadn't experienced the ambiance inside; the outside was a bit worn, and everything was a bit wobbly. But that's probably hip, and no cause for complaint for my daughter. I spilled my coffee while cutting the bread, which was annoying. The food: brioche/bread/toast, whatever you call it, delicious, the sauce, delicious, the egg - okay, the salmon delicious, and the avocado ripe and good. All in all, good, only eaten sitting down, we initially considered taking some to go... What surprised me: everyone spoke English, very few German. Reminds me a bit of when French was spoken at court to distinguish themselves from the common people. I mean, German can be the standard language in Berlin, too. But that didn't detract from the service. Everything is great and recommended, as long as you don't have any figure problems :) Addendum: Cash only is no longer up-to-date

The coffee was really delicious and the service friendly – ​​both left a positive impression. The ambiance, however, wasn't my cup of tea: It seemed very improvised overall, the music was coming from a UE Boom, and the furniture resembled a youth hostel. I was disappointed with the food. I tried the highly praised eggdrop sandwich, but I couldn't understand the hype. The eggs were overcooked, dry, and completely unseasoned. The cheese sauce had an unpleasantly sweet flavor, which, combined with the eggs, just didn't go together. In conclusion: Nice service and good coffee, but neither the food nor the overall concept convinced me.

Every time we come to Berlin we stop by, it's a really fun place. The staff is Turkish, their breakfasts, especially their bread, are incredible. It's a bit unpleasant that they only accept cash, but keep that in mind before you come.
