A highly recommended breakfast restaurant with excellent food and friendly service. There were four of us, and we received attentive and warm service from the very beginning. Three of us opted for the brioche egg sandwich in various styles, accompanied by coffee and iced matcha latte. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The drinks were also very well prepared. The overall value for money is excellent. The ambiance is rather simple and functional – no elaborate design concept, but pleasant and clean. Important to know: Only cash payments are accepted, so be prepared for that. Despite the understated interior, we highly recommend this restaurant – especially for those who appreciate a high-quality breakfast and excellent service. 🥪☕✨

The avocado and bacon egg drop is not bad but not worth coming back. Good on first few bites but felt a bit greasy towards the end.

The price-performance ratio is completely off. We paid €50 for a cold, unappetizing egg sandwich. The coffee was good, but otherwise, it really wasn't worth the money at all.

We arrived just before opening time. Since reservations aren't accepted, we, being from out of town, got up extra early. When we arrived, we were rudely informed that the place would open in 15 minutes. Without even a "good morning," the door was slammed in our faces. Very disappointing. A few meters away, we received a very warm welcome at Kaffe Käthe. Anyone looking for friendliness will be disappointed at Brekkie 44.

This is a great place with a great meal. The egg sandwich has a special sauce with an amazing taste. And the staff was very friendly and kind. We loved it and really recommend it.

A delightful brunch spot focused on brioche buns generously filled with avocado, cheese, and egg, all drizzled with a tasty and slightly spicy sauce. They also have a very good, fudgy brownie, good chai and matcha lattes like everywhere else in the neighborhood, and efficient service.

The place itself and atmosphere is nice. The egg in the egg and bacon sandwhich was so runny, on the verge of barely cooked, I coudnt finish it. Sickly. I will not be going back because 2 waitresses were stroking a customer's dog for 5 minutes... Then immediately went to collect food orders to take to customers without washing their hands. That is vile and disgusting. Never going there again.

The food here is truly wonderful, and the service is incredibly warm. I can't get over how delightful the brioche bun is, and the sauce perfectly complements it. However, the real standout for me was the brownie. Homemade and fresh, perfect balance.

At a first glance, we found a nice Halloween decoration here, but we didn't feel scared at all. On the contrary, the staff are super friendly and the Halloween special Pumpkin Spice Latte made us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious, with a highlight to the brownie. And in special I would like give kudos to Rafael, who gave us some warm Brazilian welcoming.

If you come here and find there are no available tables definitely wait. It will be worth it 😍

We went to 44bracky for breakfast. The menu promises "EGGCELLENT," so we had really high expectations. We ordered, among other things, a sourdough bread with avocado, eggs, and bacon – which ended up costing around €20 for ONE loaf – and a brioche with egg and bacon. It was beautifully presented, but unfortunately, the eggs and bacon on the bread were completely cold. The avocado tasted very bland. The large pile of lettuce was extremely sour, the brioche was okay, but nothing special, or even something that justifies the price in my opinion. With coffee, the total was over €40 – I expect significantly more quality and flavor for that. They only speak to you in English, and the place seems very tourist-oriented, like so many other places around the Boxi. There are heaters running outside, which is somewhat questionable from an environmental perspective. The staff was friendly, but that wasn't the problem. My conclusion: A lot of hype, a very high price, little flavor, seems fake to me. For locals, there's a much better breakfast in 10245. I won't be coming back.

Absolute disaster! The place is incredibly uncomfortable. The design isn't right. It's very dirty. The service was extremely bored. "Please or thank you," why when I work at 44brekki? The orange juice served was BAD. Not in terms of taste. It was expired. And never freshly squeezed. Of course, we had to ask for it to be removed from the bill. Some idiots never understand, here in our bunch.

The waiters made a half-hearted attempt at not giving me the correct change back. The egg drops are wrapped in greasy paper that immediately fuses with the greasy food inside.

I have been visiting brekkie quite frequently. The food was exactly the same in every location I visited. Yet this time I got quite disappointed. There was no problem with getting the table. Yet everything took extremely long, we literally waited about 25min for the drinks. Food came much later: we received only one plate, and ordered 2 dishes. I waited for the other plate so me and my friend could start eating at the same time. Few minutes later we spoke to the waiter and it turned out that there was a mistake with our order. They took my plate back and we waited another 15minutes to receive cold sandwich. Entire dining “experience” took more than 1,5hour considering the waiting time. I mean what can go wrong serving eggs and bacon? Quite a lot this time. After all we also had to wait another 10minutes to pay for our order… wasn’t satisfied this time 🥲

The egg drop sandwiches are fantastic. But the place is designed as a fast food joint, so you’re not encouraged to linger. Buy, eat, get out.

Lovely café with great service, the special eggdrop sandwich was delicious! It might not be for everyone; the bread is sweet and the sauce tastes very good, but it's a bit unusual. But it's exactly what an eggdrop sandwich should be, and therefore highly recommended :)

I visited around 11 AM on a weekday and was able to sit alone at an outdoor table without any rush. I ordered the Egg Drop Bacon Double Cheese Garlic. The fluffy bread was filled with plenty of eggs, and the sauce was awesome. For this price and quality, I’d say it’s a pretty nice deal. Highly recommended for a quick and satisfying meal!

AMAZING! Take your photo and post it on Instagram. I ordered bacon, double cheese, garlic bun. It definetly looks good, but it's hard to eat and totally average. Bacon was burned, bun was cold, cheese was bad quality. I didn't taste the garlic enough, was a little touch. Coffees are really good, can be a good coffee stop. Service was also good and fast, people were kind. (please give more napkins, it won't bankrupt you!) Was a bad experience in overall. Overrated, overpriced.

Got here around lunch time, the server was super friendly and we got seated very quickly. Ordering food was effortless and we didn't have to wait too long. The sandwich itself was definitely worth the price, it was a really good mix of savory, sweet and salty. I can only recommend this place.

We had the vegan avocado sourdough bread, and it tasted simply like lemon. It looked pretty, but it tasted just sour. It was edible with a lot of salt, but paying €12 for bread like that just wasn't okay. The coffee was great, but also expensive, and we don't think 0.60 cents for Oatly is up to date anymore 🥴 Especially when the coffee already costs €4.20. The service was okay. We wouldn't go there again, and we can't recommend it. /:

The interior and atmosphere of the restaurant are truly beautiful. The service was also excellent. Unfortunately, I personally didn't like the sandwich. The brioche bun was sweet and delicious, but the egg didn't seem freshly cooked. The cheese wasn't melted properly either. However, the portion was sufficient. I can understand why many people love this café—it just doesn't suit my personal taste.

The brioche creations are delicious, and the brioche itself is already very good. I would have liked a more unusual homemade lemonade. The staff speaks only English, at least that's how we experienced it. The place is highly recommended.

The food tastes really good, to be fair, but it feels quite expensive for the portion size. I highly recommend the one with avocado. They have several locations, but they tend to fill up quickly. Expect some waiting time, especially during peak hours or on weekends.

The store looked totally uncomfortable and unfinished. It smelled so weird. We sat across from the "kitchen," which was completely dark. I have no idea how they "cook" in there. The bread was okay. The egg was cold and tasted worse than cafeteria food. Mass-produced and carelessly smashed into the bread. That's probably why it was cold. The prices were overpriced, though. Service was okay. Maybe the other branches are better, but I don't recommend the store here at Boxi.

Every time I’m in Berlin, without fail, I come here. Their buns are just so so good - the perfect balance of savory with a sweet undertone coming from the brioche and special sauce. You can also mix things up and add different things to your brioche, and they do a fantastic coffee, too. And of course their cocktails are just the cherry on top (go for a bloody mary, you will not regret it)

There is an outdoor seating area, the food was delicious. I found the bread a bit sweet, it seemed like an overrated place because everyone we asked recommended this place. Still, it was a pleasant breakfast for us ☺️

Naturally. Discovered by friends because they said we ate everything. It was soooo delicious. I had goosebumps while eating. Fresh bread, delicious scrambled eggs with avocado, salmon etc. At the end there was a brownie. It was the tastiest brownie in the world. The staff was extremely attentive. Were there for breakfast yesterday. The food is super tasty — but this is definitely not for people who need to eat a little lighter for health or other reasons. The bread is sweetened and there is a lot of sauce in it too. However, in our case that wasn't a disadvantage at all: we really hit it off and really enjoyed the visit overall 👍🥙

First time trying this popular egg joint, and we had an absolutely lovely and accommodating server. The atmosphere inside the cafe is clean, calm, laid-back and welcoming. The prices are fair especially for the portion sizes- nice tea and coffee as well. Sadly, the food was not up to par! My friend and I both got the 'nature'- scrambled eggs were overcooked and browned in some spots, brioche over-toasted and way too much of this odd, overly sweet orange colored sauce. I mentioned it to the server after we were done and she apologized profusely, but hey, things happen, right? Then even surprised us with a free brownie with icecream on top as an apology- hands down one of the best brownies I've ever had in Berlin! 44 Brekkie is so comfortable to sit in, so I will give it another chance one day with pleasure... I hope I can add some more stars for the food after that ;-)
