OM Coffee & Brunch in Berlin

The menu is very small, but the food is super delicious! The sourdough bread was very tasty, soft and very big! There was no skimping on the avocado on top and the extra scrambled eggs were super tasty. The nuts and spices make it taste particularly delicious and sometimes different from what we know. The cappuccino was also very tasty and reasonably priced. I think the fact that the tea costs almost the same is too expensive. The seating is a bit tight and it's self-service. What I think is good is that the dirty dishes are cleared away every now and then. There was a friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately there is only one toilet for everyone. There is still water for free, but otherwise no water to buy, which I personally find strange.

I was hesitant to come on here and write a bad review, which I seldom do, but it feels a bit unfair that this place inherited the positive ratings and reviews of the coffee shop that used to be here, because this place has really disappointed me ever since taking over this location. As an establishment marketing itself to the international community of Berlin, I find the quality of food to be offensive for the prices they are asking. I have had similar meals with higher quality ingredients and better recipes for much less money all over Berlin. After visiting time and time again, I have never received my coffee in less than five minutes after ordering, and often have to wait a long time to make or receive my order, even if there is only one person ahead of me in line. I wanted to also talk about the decor and lighting, but I am worried if I comment on it, this will just sound like I am griping. I’ve worked in the service industry for 13+ years and can say most of these conditions are due to poor management and a lack of proper consultation. No one asked for my advice but my words of wisdom would be to simplify and reduce everything. Focus on making a smaller list of items offered at a higher quality, and have enough people working front of house to help customers before they consider leaving. Get rid of the €10 card minimum (embarrassing for customers), and declutter the space. It couldn’t hurt to also watch a few episodes of “Tabatha Takes Over”. Lastly, if you are going to name your business in honor of the Vedic principles of “Om”, allow some representation of divinity or the path to liberation to be legible in how you run your space. Let it be the compass by which guests are welcomed into your establishment every day.

I came there first time and had a flat white coffee which was good. But cake (some carrot cake with cheese cake layer) just doesn’t worth it. Weird taste, I didn’t enjoy it at all ( hope it was not too old). I was surprised to get this after reading so many nice reviews about cakes.

If you are looking for a place to have a good breakfast with a good vibe and atmosphere, then look no further. I was treated nice, made my order, it was delivered quickly and they also brought a glass of water with the breakfast. The people working here are friendly. I highly recommend. The breakfast was delicious. The customer service was 11/10👍

One of my absolutely favorite cafes around. Their cakes are outstanding and very unique, also they always have different ones and a huge selection. Service is always super friendly and great energy.

I discovered the café a while ago and I'm glad I did! It's a nice cozy place with very nice people. I celebrated my birthday there last week: I reserved a table and one of their cakes. It was all so beautiful. They were incredibly kind to us! They even brought us some balloons and the cake with a candle in it! How sweet! We actually forgot to bring candles :) I haven't tried their brunch yet, but I have tried some of their cakes and I enjoyed them all. My absolute favorites are Black Forest cake and carrot cake! The coffee is also very good! This is now my favorite local cafe. I will come back often!<3

This little cafe is in my area of Berlin where I am staying (literally across the street), how lucky for me. The coffee is great and the cakes, OMG the cakes are out of this world. They specialise in Cheese Cakes and they are amazing. I had the blueberry and marshmallow cheese cake. Incredible. They have WiFi for users and the cafe itself is clean, lovely, boutique, intimate and dog friendly. I have found my place while being in Berlin for one month. If you want specialty coffee and the most amazing cheesecake EVER then come to the OM Coffee Shop in Berlin.

Excellent brunch options on the weekend!

The cake is amazing! The cookies are also a 10/10! The coffee is sometimes a bit bitter but they have a good selection of plant-based alternatives. The service could be a little brighter, sometimes the people behind the counter seem absent and uninterested.

The gentleman yesterday was very nice, the lady behind the counter who then collected the money wasn't working at all: a little more friendliness would definitely be a plus point, but you never stop learning. I personally don't like the cappuccino, it's way too sweet, even though I don't like sugar and there wasn't any in it - it was also lukewarm.

This place is a true gem for breakfast lovers! The Eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection, and the vegan pulled pork was incredibly flavorful. To top it off, their smoothie was fresh and delicious, the perfect way to start the day. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is super friendly.

A few days ago we happened to pass this café on U Weberwiese. After seeing what attractive pieces of cake some guests had on their plates, we decided on pancakes, French toast and a smoothie. Without us ordering water, the very nice waitress brought us 2 glasses of tap water due to the heat. We found that extremely sweet. When our order came, we were simply delighted. We don't have to explain to you why. Check out the photos. The food not only looked fantastic, but also tasted incredibly good. Both were light and fluffy and not too sweet. The smoothie, however, was ok, nothing special. In total we paid €27 for this. We will definitely come back to test the cakes and tarts 😁

I love this place, I really love it, and brunch here is expectacular. But sadly, I've been here like 6-7 times, and most of these times I had to wait between 20-45 minutes for our brunch (worst experience was up to 1h, but was saturday, and really crowded). Rarely they serve your drink together with the brunch or food, so when I had to wait for the food, coffee was already cooled down. It seems to me that there is only one person cooking, and sometimes it gets full on weekends, so it takes a lot of time to enjoy your brunch together with your drinks.

Take away cookies and cake, quality below average, like almost everywhere in Berlin. Both overly baked with no special taste to justify the prices.

We were there for brunch on Sunday. I made a reservation online the evening before, but the request was never confirmed. It wasn't so bad since we went there shortly after 10 a.m. and there were enough free places. Unfortunately the service was very slow and not attentive. We waited a long time for our drinks and food. We ate Eggs Benedict and the Quark Pancakes. Overall the visit was okay, but not outstanding. Therefore solid 3 stars.

Kind staff but ridiculously slow service due to being understaffed. Poor girl was running a full café on her own- of course the quality is going to suffer under these conditions. Also, like many places, they charge extra for plant based milk. Annoys me to no end.

Card payments only from 10€ and up? Really? In 2024? I mean I would understand if cards fee was one fixed price for all whatever amount then ok, but the fee is a percentage of what the amount totals to so I don't really understand the reason. I literally was told I couldn't get a coffee and croissant to take away because I didn't have cash and I could not pay 7€ +o- with my card. Surreal, I went down the street, at the vegan cafe with donuts and paid less for a donut and coffee and I paid by card, and they only accept cards, so I guess card fees must not be that bad!! I just moved close by, and you not only lost a first time 7€ but multiple ones because I won't be coming back! Shocking.

Were here for coffee and cake. The cake costs around 5 euros per piece but it tastes really delicious. The coffee is OK... It doesn't taste bad but nothing special either. The service is friendly.

Fantastic place! It was really very nice and extremely delicious! We had eggs on bread and cottage cheese pancakes! Both dishes were very tasty! Cappuccino was nicely strong. You can pay by card there.

Ordered a flat white to take away and had to wait 15 minutes for it. Unfortunately the wait wasn't worth it, the flat white was terrible, solid foam like a cappuccino.

Outside of breakfast hours food options very limited- they only had cakes when I went. Good tea selection. Nice service from a lady working there. Music was a little too energetic for my liking, not calm cafe vibes. Good that all the tables aren’t jammed near each other.

Hmm. Nice atmosphere, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio isn't right here. Although the food is nicely prepared, the taste is only average. Rather “mushy” spread... Unfortunately the coffee wasn't to my taste either.

Came here for a quick juice after my rocycle class. They make freshly pressed orange juice, every dish here is super yummy! -1 star because one girl from the staff was not nice at all, other than that cute cafe, laptop friendly :)

Food with simple ingredients that is nothing special. The prices are in no way appropriate for this and are far too high. The café in front had character, an excellent café and good food as well as individual, changing art on the walls and you could even have a quick chat - I was happy to pay 20 euros for the café and cake. Here, however, it is ridiculous to charge well over 10 euros for toast with egg and fatty sauce when I could make it much more delicious at home. This cafe tries to seem individual, hip and healthy and is exactly the opposite. I'm sad about this - this used to be my favorite cafe.

Don't order avocado bread!!! Service and ambience are okay, but the food/breakfast varies greatly in quality and price: while the granola with yogurt and fresh fruit was very tasty and reasonable at a price of 6.80 euros, the avocado bread was really bad: the toasted medium bread was soaked with oil and an avocado spread from a can was the topping. That's it... And this really poor quality cost 12.50 euros!

I came on a Thursday afternoon to work a bit with my laptop. The barista was so easygoing with that, the WiFi works pretty well. On top of that, the coffee was delicious. They even keep the croissants warm all the time. Happy to have the cafe in our neighborhood 😊

Best coffee in berlin so far!! I have been craving good coffee however i have been very unlucky, until i visited this place!! I absolutely love the cafe latte as well as the eggs! The meal was big and very filling. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and welcoming ❤️

Massive and tasty egg sandwich (Egg love, on the menu for €11.5). The egg was soft and the bread was lightly toasted and super crisp and fluffy at the same time!

it's a fine place for a coffee and some pastries, but breakfasts... yeah I am not sure if I want to comment on that.

just had a coffee here with a friend. everything is extremely expensive (cake for 5-6€!?). it's the same as the coffee shop that was here before, but everything costs 2€ more now.

Eine wirkliche Enttäuschung. Ich habe selten so schlecht gegessen wie hier. Auf den Fotos sieht das Essen, sowie das Café wirklich ansprechend und süß aus. Leider trügt der Schein und man bekommt ein Paket aus schlechtem Service, grauenhaftem Essen und viel zu lauter Atmosphäre. Wenn man bedenkt wie klein das Menü ist, sollte man meinen, dass die wenigen Gerichte auf der Karte zumindest mit viel Liebe und Können zubereitet werden. Allerdings ist das ein Trugschluss und ich Frage mich wirklich, wie anspruchslos die Kundschaft sein muss, um das Restaurant ernsthaft so positiv zu bewerten. Angefangen mit den Getränken, die mit 30 Minuten Abstand voneinander bei uns am Tisch gelandet sind, mussten wir beim Smoothie sogar nochmal nachfragen, ob er schlichtweg vergessen wurde. Als unser Essen kam, ist mir vor Schreck fast die Luft weggeblieben. Das "French Toast mit Beeren" war ein Trauerspiel und das "Avocado Toast" eine ziemliche Enttäuschung. Der Geruch war im übrigen auch besorgniserregend. Das French Toast war kalt. Von einer knusprigen, frisch angebratenen Außenseite fehlte jede Spur. Im Inneren offenbarte sich ein noch größeres Grauen. Das Toast war getränkt in Sirup, Karamellsauce - die billige, aus der Tube - und billiger weißer Schokoladen Sauce. Man ist hier wohl den "Wonder Waffle" Weg gegangen, in der Hoffnung den Geschmack durch eine Überdosis Zucker herbeizuführen. Frisch geht anders. Das war mit Abstand das schlechteste French Toast meines Lebens. Wenn man es überhaupt als solches bezeichnen kann. Das Avocado Toast war unglaublich langweilig. Keine frische Avocado. Stattdessen Avocado Püree. Gemischt mit Butter, um die Pampe zu strecken und noch fettiger zu machen. Gewürze sind hier auch ein Fremdwort und außer dem bisschen Puder auf dem Brot nicht auffindbar. Geschmacklich absolut unterirdisch und definitiv nicht das Geld Wert. Im großen und ganzen wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Das Geld, das ihr hier ausgebt, gemeinsam mit der verschwendeten Lebenszeit, in der ihr vergeblich auf Eure Bestellung wartet, ist besser genutzt, wenn ihr Euch die Zutaten im Supermarkt selbst kauft und euer eigenes Frühstück kocht. Selbst wer nicht kochen kann, wird etwas besseres auf den Teller zaubern, als einem hier serviert wird.

Biggest and heaviest avocado on toast I've ever come across. Also had the bombay on toast. Both fab. Shame there wasn't any vegan cakes when we went.

Good location for having a coffee, but unfortunately there was no table service so we had to go to the counter. When they served out drinks they didn’t remember which table ordered. When ordering food they said we had to wait for 15 min but it turns out that we had to wait at least 30 minutes and the breakfast came out cold. Overall I think the atmosphere is pretty nice but because of the service it makes it a less enjoyable experience.

The toast bread was too hard and even difficult to cut with a knife. I liked additional side of chickpeas and potatoes. Service is slow. Overpriced place but good location.

Schönes, kleines Café mit großer Kuchenauswahl. Leider war uns Kaffee (Fredo Cappuccino) recht klein und im Geschmack eher wässrig. Auch die Kuchenstücke könnten für den Preis (5,30€) etwas größer ausfallen. Geschmacklich war der Kuchen super!
