I’m sorry but this was disgusting and disappointing. Why does the majority of vegan food have to taste like it came out of a survival ration tube?

Friendly service in a cute space with amazing food! There was a lot of room between tables which we really liked. We'll definitely come back here!

Very good service! Prices are ok, a bit on a higher end. Hokkaido Toast was super good, although it was a bit hard to cut with the knife they provide. Devilled Potato was a bit too salty to my taste, but still tasty. The entire menu is vegan 😍

Best food. The nutritional balance of the food is outstanding and extremely thought through. The portions are generous, yet the cakes so good one tempts to overdo it :) not to forget: the nicest staff. A ten star experience in a five star system ✨

Very great and unusual food, nice team

I really wanted to have lunch here, so I played the queue game. Initially announced at 15-20 minutes, we ended up waiting 1 hour. Either, the schedules can be difficult to control on a Sunday, the person who received us tells us after 30 minutes that there is still a wait. The estimation error is quite significant and there is no excuse on this point other than “without reservation and well it’s complicated”. I would have preferred a more conservative estimate from the outset to avoid a long wait in the cold... Once installed, the order still takes time to be taken (around 20 minutes). Finally, served, it turns out that there was an order error and we were missing a dish, certainly in the middle of other small plates but still... I didn't have the heart to report the error given the time already wasted and the apparent lack of availability of staff. It’s a shame because it was delicious and I would have really enjoyed the experience without the hassles. In my opinion : - Do not try without reservation - Avoid busy days unless you have a LOT of time... Lack of staff or organization? There is clearly something to improve.

Randomly ended up here! Great atmosphere, 10/10 service from staff. We had a coffee, matcha, a “salmon” toast, their millet waffle (too much of the sauce, maybe less or avocado would be better), and a cream pastry! Overall pretty good, can recommend.

Just WAUW! You might think vegan is boring but Sfera does it just Right!!! 6 stars of it was posible.

Super cute restaurant, everything seems very familiar. The staff speaks both German and English. The dishes all sound very unusual. It would then be the “young potato salad” and it was great! (€13.50) It is also beautifully prepared. The prices may seem a bit steep at first, but the portions are large and definitely fill you up. As a drink I had a homemade lemonade (€4.80), which, in contrast to the food, was smaller than expected. In my experience from other restaurants, homemade lemonades are usually 400-500ml, here it was more like 250ml... Reservation: You can access a website via a story highlight on Instagram where you can reserve tables, but only for 2 people or more. I was there alone and had no problem getting a seat (it was a Sunday around 11am). If I understood correctly, the menu changes seasonally, so I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Berlin. Conclusion: gladly again!

My most favourite vegan place in all of Berlin. Have to visit everytime i travel there. More than once. The waffles are amazing.. the desserts too. The whipped butter is deadly..the cinnabuns... love it all. Was elated when the hostess said they were about to close and allowed us to takeaway the Avocado slice gratis. Made my day.

Unfortunately, the hyped café didn't convince us. The no-egg sandwich was extremely salty - even though I love eating salty food. The French toast was a pure sugar bomb, visually appealing but not balanced in taste. There were hardly any gluten-free options, even though they were mentioned in the fine print. The only plant-based milk alternative is oats, which is not suitable if you have gluten intolerance - I would have liked more choice from a plant-based café. Everything was completely overpriced for what was on offer. The service also had a condescending vibe, and the constant mix of German and English was confusing - it would be better to agree on one language. All in all, we didn't feel completely comfortable and won't be coming back.

Lovely atmosphere! the menu is seasonal, generous and filling dishes - a really interesting plant based food experience. A large selection of natural wines as well as other alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Some bakery includes gluten free options as well as many dishes that can be adjusted upon request. The staff are very friendly despite some very busy days! I haven’t found the food waiting time much different to other Berlin brunch places, and the online booking system is super handy. A highlight is the specially designed menu for their occasional dinner and evening events, super cosy wine bar vibe.

Definitely worth a visit! Incredibly delicious, exceptional food selection and great drinks. The truly minimalist shop has an extraordinary flair.

Hip looking place, food lacking in taste. We ordered two different sandwiches and both ours were rather bland in taste. Also not very interesting choices for drinks; the Apfelschorle was very watered down and also did not have a lot of flavor. Quite expensive, considering you have to order and pick up your food at the counter and put the dishes away yourself (??)

A little place that offers 100% vegetable cuisine, and what can I say... well done guys! They certainly focused on quality and research into tastes, rather than quantity. In fact, on the menu you will find few proposals (plus something freshly baked in the window), but really well thought out. We had to wait because it was very popular, but it wasn't a problem. The place inside is quite minimal and there are also some seats outside. Quiet area. The French toast left us speechless😍

A more than underestimated pearl in the heart of Neukölln: At sfera, every dish is a finely seasoned, culinary delight. Salty meets sweet, sour components meet earthy notes - with the perfect bread or brioche, great coffee or wine. This is about far less than purely vegan cuisine, it's about perfection on the plate. Thanks to the great team!

We went to Sfera for brunch today and felt very comfortable. The drinks (especially the Sfera Royal, the Mezcara and the Mimosas) were great. We also had the “Miso Millet Waffle” and the potatoes with vegan egg. Both dishes were really tasty and beautifully presented. For dessert, a Schillerlocke and a cinnamon bun 💕. The manager and the other service staff were also really warm and took a little time to chat with us every now and then. In general, we had a really nice lunch at Sfera and would love to come back next time to drink our way through the wine list 😁.

The brioche was honestly one of the tastiest meals I’ve had in a while. It was so fresh and warm, wow! And the also the barista that was serving us was so nice! He gave me extra berries just because I told him that I really fancy something with fruit:) The whole experience was so lovely I’m excited to visit Sfera again when I’ll be back at Berlin!❤️

Possibly my favourite café in Berlin — plant-based, friendly staff, low-waste ethos, lots of space to sit, fair portions and value. Full dishes, but they also offer smaller cakes and savoury options, as well as wines and other drinks. Gladly call this place a regular spot ✨

I’ve wanted to visit Sfera since it opened last year and I finally made it. The place is spacious and beautiful, the staff is nice (although they made a mistake on our order). Food looks great but unfortunately I was disappointed as the taste was nothing as I expected. Definitely not worth the money, as it is quite pricey. We had French toast, tomatoes on labneh and no-egg sandwich.

Very unique food, well executed

A special café that is worth reserving in advance. If you use the website for this, you pay €5 per person, which should then be offset against the final price. A bit atypical, also because the information came on site that a refund would simply be given. The menu is full of interesting dishes that may not be for everyone. The ‘Young potato salad’ was very tasty and reasonably priced for the high prices. The taste of the French toast wasn't what I wanted. The iced matcha lattes, however, were excellent. Overall it's a good, albeit more expensive, café with lots of seats in the 'backroom' where it can get really loud (see the other reviews).

An excellent brunch place. The food goes beyond the typical brunch offering of eggs and bread in 101 ways and offers dishes at a truly high level. Flavors and vegetables you have never tried before - at least not in such combinations. I also recommend the cold brew coffee, which was very tasty despite the small amount.

An amazing vegan brunch spot. I got the French toast and it was delicious, the crumble and the chai cream I still dream about it. Baked goods looked amazing so I have to come here definitely to try them. The atmosphere of the cafe is also so good, a nice place with a few rooms. Such a gem!

We had a very tasty meal on site. The people in the place are super friendly. The atmosphere on site is wonderful. Relaxed music is playing, but you can have a conversation with the other person without any problems. We each ate a main course and shared a broiche. The portions are just right and fill you up. The quality is very high, fresh and delicious. Everything is vegan, which is great

It's terribly loud because no sound-absorbing measures have been taken. The service staff speaks German, but because of the noise, they misunderstood our order and brought us green tea instead of Pinot Gris. The food was nothing special and we had to wait about 40 minutes after ordering.

Amazing food, the best I had in a while. I've been there once before, and the food was amazing then, too. Everything is super tasty and fresh, and the flavours are interesting and different. Not just your typical brunch food, and there are plenty of different options without it being too much. Love this place. The staff was very nice too, helpful and friendly.

Nice space and atmosphere, decent (albeit slow) service (we had to go up and ask to be served after waiting at least 10 minutes, and it wasn't particularly busy). But €13 for a bean soup with a chunk of pumpkin thrown in there? Give me a break. This is the kind of place turning Berlin into an expensive hipster-run nonsense. I won't be back.

Mediocre food. I didn't like the atmosphere, they mention the place is LGBTQ friendly but at the same time they have islamist propaganda leaflets by the cashier (which is totally contradictory) as queer jewish person I didn't feel like this is the case.

I recently had the dubious pleasure of visiting the so-called hip Café Sfera and I have to say it was a complete disappointment. As soon as I entered, I noticed the arrogant attitude of the staff. A simple smile or a friendly “Hello” seems to be asking too much here. The prices are simply outrageous. You pay more for a cup of lukewarm coffee and a dry, tasteless bread here than you would for a full meal in a good restaurant. The value for money is an insult to every paying guest. The furnishings may seem stylish at first glance, but upon closer inspection you quickly realize that there is more appearance than reality. Everything feels forced and artificial, like they're desperately trying to be the latest hipster trendy thing but completely forgetting what real hospitality and quality mean. I absolutely cannot recommend this cafe. There are numerous other places in the city where you receive friendly service and where the price-performance ratio is right. You're just wasting time and money here.

The dining room doesn't look very inviting, the tap water provided comes in bottles that aren't clean and the service staff wasn't very friendly towards us. Among other things, we ordered porridge, which looked like pureed porridge and not like cooked oatmeal. Btw it didn't taste good either. All in all a 5/10 so far. When it came time to pay, we all walked up in groups of 2-3. But when everyone had paid, there was still an outstanding bill for a sandwich and a cappuccino. The sandwich was only ordered twice, once with a card and the other with cash. My sister handed over cash and rounded it up. After the person behind the checkout apparently didn't have any change and couldn't give my sister her change, she just said, "I don't have any change." But you can tip.” My sister was perplexed and then rounded up AGAIN because there was a lack of change. That was the situation from which the outstanding account arose. After we remembered this (a service person actually remembers something like that, at least that's what I thought) it was further discussed that the bill was outstanding. We asked for a checkout, which was denied because she would have to count the entire checkout (yes, the purpose of that). We asked the service person to look at the invoice archive, which was also done, but if you pay in cash and don't “send” the invoice because it has been paid, then there is no completed invoice, only an open invoice. We were then given the argument that one of us, after the service worker still had an outstanding bill, said “yes, I’ll ask again who hasn’t paid and send that person forward”. Of course, from their point of view, this was proof that the score was unfinished. With 2 tables and 10 people in total, you don't know who was at the front and who wasn't. After about 10 minutes of discussion, the person behind the cash register just said to us, after a second person joined in, that we were probably right and mistakes can happen in the catering industry. Yes, mistakes happen. BUT then you apologize, try to respond to the customer, show a little empathy and do damage control. Find the store impossible. I only give one star for a service that is unfriendly, responds angrily to counter questions and demands a tip. Insight is the path to improvement.

Highlights: the space, very atmospheric, the vegan dishes are all delicious (we didn't even take photos, we ate them right away). Very cozy inside and outside tables in the sun. The workers are friendly. Pea sandwiches and others on the counter. What needs to be improved: the tofu is somewhat dry.

Vegan brunch place with very interesting savory and sweet options, plus an assortment of homemade pastry. The plates offer very interesting combinations of flavors and textures, and are VERY generous. The homemade lemonade was incredibly refreshing! Reservations are heavily recommended. Payment with credit card over 10€.

Very cute and cosy vegan cafe in a quiet area of Berlin. Everything we had was incredible - tastes and looks like authentic, comforting homemade food. Would highly recommend the no-egg toast and the brioche with butter and jam.

It took an hour for the food to come out... exactly 1 hour and 6 minutes. If I had come a little later, I would have had to wait, so it was so crowded that I didn't think I would go to the cafe unless I went early. I had young potato salad, but the bread was too hard and the toppings were like acid so it was difficult to eat. The price is cheap. A perfect place to take photos for Instagram. The atmosphere is not bad ^^ I won’t go again

Everything in that place was beyond good... it was exceptional! The flavor combinations, the preparation and the presentation were amazing. We also tasted the Swedish semla, which you don't usually find in Berlin, and this was such a highlight. In addition, the atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxing and inviting. I would definitely be interested in going again and trying out the dishes that we haven't tried. Lovely place!

Basically, with the exception of one person, the employees were quite friendly and the food was also delicious. There was a lot of choice of vegan dishes. However, the wait was forever. We had taken a special look at Instagram beforehand and it said that there were definitely still places available for walk-ins. We had to wait over 30 minutes and then they forgot to call us. Super annoying and just a waste of time! We received two cookies as compensation for the waiting time. But afterwards we noticed that we still had to pay this on the bill??? Unfortunately, our experience wasn't good and we wouldn't come back. A pity!

An intimate place on the map of Berlin. I had the opportunity to eat breakfast, for which I chose potato salad made of new potatoes, served on a slice of home-made bread, topped with grated smoked tofu and dill. The coffee is very small and very good :-) I recommend a visit to Sfera.

Been here multiple times and it’s always been great! The food is delicious and all vegan, the coffee is good and they have some nice drinks if you want to have a little boozy brunch. When it’s really full the service tends to get a bit slow, but the staff is always friendly!

A place worth checking out for an amazing brunch in Berlin. The whole menu is vegan but honestly I would not have guessed based on the dishes we were served. Everything was delicious! Each dish had something unique - it’s definitely not your usual breakfast spot.

I’ve been to Sfera a couple of times now. The place is beautiful, and the food delicious and creative. But there is one big problem that puts a damper on the experience, and it’s the service. A few of the servers sort of do their job and are pleasant. Most of them ignore you. Then there’s the special bunch that are rude and unpleasant. I understand that this is Berlin and that bad service is considered to be normal (and even cool?). But when you get to the price range and tip expectations of Sfera, it just becomes obnoxious. Also - pre-charging a fee to reserve that gets refunded when you pay (if they remember to officially check you in)? Come on.

Really good place for vegetarians and vegans. They have plenty of options and everything I tried so far was good. The area is also nice especially during good weather.

Cute place quite a lot of space inside. It's expensive for the area, they only accept card payments from 10€...Maybe it's just my luck but every time we go there the staff is not very friendly as if we're not welcome.

Amazing food experience with friendly service!

Was honestly so excited to try Sfera and it’s been on my list for forever but was so disappointed with the experience. The service was so slow and bad. Servers / Cashier person fully ignore you a don’t make eye contact or say hi. waited 35 min to get our order taken and even longer to receive the drinks let alone food. Food was fine but not incredible enough to make up for the poor service. maybe it’s cuz it was easter weekend but none of the staff looked like they want to be there or do their job.

Food is absolutely exceptional, with slight changes depending on the seasonal products, I’ve tried many dishes and they are all delicious and very creative. Bloody Mary is spicy and rich in taste. I always enjoy the gastronomic experience there. However, make sure to reserve on the weekends. It was a nightmare of organization when I’ve been there last time on Saturday. I came a little later than the opening time, and despite being told to wait for 30 min, this turned to 1 hour 30 minutes, and after asking for multiple times we were advised to share a table with another group, when two tables behind us were kept empty (maybe someone missed a reservation? would be great to be offered to move there). I understand that it’s the weekend and very busy time for the team, but I would appreciate staff telling straight away that they are fully booked and can’t guarantee or estimate if me and my friend could sit at all - I would then not have waited in the cold for so long. That said, on all the other days, the team was always friendly and accommodating. I will still be coming back, with the reservation made in advance.

A nice vegan restaurant with good food and nice atmosphere Staff were friendly and polite. My favourite was a poppy seed and plum filled pastry with a very tasty crumble coating. One of the best pastries I've ever eaten. Highly recommend to anyone who loves food.

My absolute favorite brunch spot in Berlin. Even tho I’m living about 1 hour away, I just constantly go back to here again and again. Foods are creative, experimental, still super well balanced. I’ve been so many famous brunch spots in the city but this one is exceptional while others are either delicious but basic or novel but not so tasty. Best recommendation would be their french toast. I introduced this place to several friends and they all fell in love.

The food is unbelievably tasty and hearty, each dish zum Reinlegen. Yes, Service could be more attentive during peak times but I found every staff member super friendly and helpful at all times. For Dinner events with more time for each course the service was also impeccable.

What a taste explosion. I'm blown away. We came at rush hour on Sunday, so we had to wait 15 minutes. But it was time well spent. I have rarely had such a good breakfast. The price-performance ratio is right. For the price on the menu you get generous portions, and as good as the food tastes, the ingredients must also be of high quality. I'll be back!

I was really looking forward to this place, I really wanted to love it and recommend it. Good thing food is good, and the flavours are unique. Coffee is OK. And some of the people working there are really nice. However, they forgot our reservation. They made the best to accommodate us and told us we needed to leave sooner but that they would serve us fast. However, they did take a lot of time to serve us. And even they were almost not sure if we could order some of the things from the menu. Everything's a little bit of self-service since we ordered soup and didn't receive a spoon or even water. This is OK. They are quite busy. But they were just too many things that made our first visit not the best. Some if us didn't have time to finish the meal. I wish you guys the best, but maybe you could try for a better reservation system.

Staff are super lovely and great people, but food is a bit lackluster. Looks better in instagram. Go for the vibe but maybe save room for a snack afterwards.
