Düne Süd in Helgoland

Wir haben einen Tagesausflug nach Helgoland gemacht und haben dann in diesem Restaurant Mittag gegessen. Es war bei bestem Wetter viel los und die Bedienung (2) hatte alle Hände voll zu tun! Das Essen war super und reichhaltig und sehr lecker! ( Rumpsteak mit Bratkartoffeln usw) ! Wir würden gerne wieder kommen! H. Und J.

Das Essen war superlecker, die Getränke auch. Bence ist ein echt netter Kerl. Er hat sich eine Gehaltserhöhung verdient!! ⬆️⬆️❤️

Wir waren gestern schon hier und sind heute zurück, weil es einfach gut war. Natürlich haben wir Fisch und Krabben bestellt, was auch sonst. Alles andere kann man auch an "Land" essen. Die Portionen der Nordsee Krabben (Granat) waren überraschend reichlich bemessen, die Bratkartoffeln ausnehmend lecker und würzig und alle Speisen keine Snacks, sondern zum Sattessen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung. Schade, dass wir zurück zum Schiff müssen, die Düne-Süd könnte glatt unser Stammlokal werden.

Wir waren bei euch essen und das war super. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Alles frisch zubereitet das schmeckt man.

Wir waren an zwei Abenden zum Essen hier und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam, nett und schnell. Wir hatten den Helgoländer Seehund mit einer sehr ordentlichen Portion Krabben und leckeren Bratkartoffeln und am zweiten Abend die beiden Burger von der Karte… auch lecker und reichlich. Ich würde mich als durchaus „stämmiges Kerlchen“ bezeichnen und bin bin absolut satt geworden… von uns eine absolute Empfehlung!

Wir haben hier köstlich gegessen. Das Wiener Artischockenschnitzel war hervorragend zubereitet. Der dazugehörige Salat war lecker, und die Bratkartoffeln mit Zwiebeln und Speck waren ein echter Genuss. Mein Mann hatte den Cheeseburger, der ebenfalls gut war. Der Lillet Spritz ist etwas teuer für ein Glas, das nicht einmal halb voll ist. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich!

Wir haben hier gegessen, der Räucherfisch, die Ofenkartoffeln und die Currywurst waren top, der Service sehr freundlich.

Wir können die schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich, die Lage super und das Essen reichlich und lecker. Ein großer Burger mit 2,5cm Patty, Spiegelei, Tomaten, Gurken, BBQ Soße und Pommes 14,50€ ist absolut ok. Und den Aperol für 9,50€ muss man ja nicht trinken. Gerne wieder!

Also Super Essen die Burger waren sehr Groß und haben mehr als nur gestopft und der Service is vom Feinsten die wirken Charakterlich erhlich nett und freundlich und nicht aufgesetzt

Alle drei bestellten Gerichte, Seehund, Rotbarsch und Scholle waren wunderbar, können wir nur empfehlen.

Ich war hier mit meiner Freundin abends Essen. Sie hatte die Ofenkartoffel mit Krabben ich das Schollenfilet "Finkweder Art". Das Essen war super und schnell Fertig und nichts daran auszusetzen. Preis Leistung einfach Super. Die Bedienung war super freundlich haben auch extra nach decken gefragt das es sehr frisch war. Nur wieder zu empfehlen.

Mega netter Service. Sehr sehr leckeres Essen war schnell da und Preisleistung aufjedenfall getroffen. Würde ich jedem empfehlen .

Kein Wunder, dass in diesem Bistro-Restaurant kaum was los ist. Matjes Hausfrauen Art mit zwei Würfeln Gummi-Aofel und einer halben, grob geschnittenen Zwiebel. Bratkartoffeln komplett ohne Gewürz und teilweise toh. Scholle Finkenwerder Art in Öl ertränkt, Bratkartoffeln wie beschrieben, Salat teilweise deutlich welk. Dazu unsaubere Tellerränder und unmotiviertes Personal. Keine Empfehlung von mir.

Wir haben Dort gefrühstückt während unseres Helgoland Besuches. Auch das Essen nach Karte am Abend war sehr lecker!

A nice little café in the pedestrian zone on Heligoland. A lovely outdoor area, mostly shaded. Delicious cakes. Very friendly and attentive staff. Okay value for money.

We waited a long time for the food, and the schnitzel was so thin you could almost see through it, and the salad was soggy. Very poor value for money and definitely not recommended. But new tourists come every day, and they're obviously not particularly interested in regular customers...typical.

So my so-called "Wiener-Style" schnitzel was basically a 1.5mm thick piece of pre-cut meat with no flavor at all. Dry and inedible. You could say they breaded and fried a cardboard beer mat. It had nothing to do with meat. It was essentially a Tillman's Toasties, although they're thicker. €15.50. The Heligoland seal platter was also a flop: a small portion of crab (not fresh, but frozen, and already halfway around the world), two potatoes disguised as fried potatoes, and an egg that looked like scrambled eggs. €18. The meal was a complete disaster. A tourist rip-off is all well and good, but they've taken it to the extreme. Absolutely not recommended. I'd rather go to McDonald's before I eat there again.

Arrival: We asked for a table, but we were told to sit under a large umbrella. Shortly after, these umbrellas were closed. After our preferred order was rejected (they're no longer available), we ordered a cheese selection with a baguette and an antipasti plate with a baguette. We received a total of 5 thin slices of white bread! The cheese selection and the antipasti plate (both on a wooden board) were a mix of various ready-made cans with a bland salad mix. The price was rather high for a quick, hurried product. That wasn't good, so we went hungry to a good restaurant in town later that evening. Can't recommend this place.

The food arrived quickly (we were already riding past), which is unfortunately the only positive thing about it. The schnitzel was like a shoe sole, the fried potatoes were good but only two tablespoons. You've just finished eating, the dishes are being cleared, and then another waiter asks you if you want to order?! The price was completely unjustified! Far too expensive, you can tell they're all about tourism. I definitely won't be back.

Today we took a little trip to Heligoland. Here at the restaurant Düne Süd, we had an excellent meal. Overall, it was very good: service, ambiance, and food. The fried potatoes were divine, and the idea of serving them with fresh spring onions is something completely new. I'll definitely try my fried potatoes again. The portions were absolutely sufficient for my partner and me, and we didn't feel like we were in a potato coma afterward. 😅

While staying at the Hotel Helgoländer Klassik, our breakfast buffet was in this café. The buffet was plentiful and delicious. There were rolls, mini croissants, and raisin bread. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs were only instant. A selection of sausage, cheese, meatballs, and bacon was available. There was also sparkling wine, orange juice, multivitamin juice, and coffee. Muesli and fruit were also available. The staff was friendly. Highly recommended.

Chaotic organization, endless waits, and far too few staff for the size of the place. The staff was stressed, and the coffee was lukewarm rather than hot. It's a shame, considering the location is actually great.

I had the breakfast buffet during a hotel stay. It was delicious and fresh, and everything was there.

The restaurant is beautifully located. The male staff was very friendly. We received our food quickly. The portions were so small that they weren't filling. The salad tasted bland. The tomato on the salad was mushy. I wouldn't go back.

Unfortunately not a recommendation, so not from us. We just wanted to have a coffee and a piece of cake. The cake is definitely not “fresh”, but rather frozen, and not the good kind either. The cheesecake was average, nothing loose, nothing fluffy or anything. The apple pie was still frozen in the middle. When I asked about the possibility of heating it, I was only told that it would always be cold. The coffee products are also below average. Either the WMF machine is set up incorrectly or the ingredients are not good. The milk coffee was the size of a cappuccino and was only lukewarm, the latte macchiato tasted like warm milk with a hint of coffee. The quality is definitely not right for the prices.

A nice place to stay, but you shouldn't eat here. We think they don't care what we said about it. Because there are new guests every day who pay a lot of money for little food. You shouldn't go here to eat.

Good breakfast, very rich. Everything was clean, the staff friendly. Only the tables outside could sometimes be wiped. Since the staff is busy with the very good service in the restaurant, the outside area is of secondary importance.

The cold fish platter was large and delicious. Unfortunately there wasn't enough bread. The steak was also very good.

First we were let in via a terrace door after knocking. We had to wait a relatively long time for the order to be taken, although we were the only guests and a waitress was sitting at another table. My salad was very small and contained sand, unfortunately there was no compensation for that. My friend's burger was also more "okay" than very tasty. Relatively expensive for that. It seems more like a tourist shop where they only eat once.

The food is delicious. My wife and I went there twice within a week. The food was excellent each time. The service, on the other hand, was sometimes abysmal. A young man knows his craft. The would-be boss should perhaps take some more courses. Mistakes made within the service team are not to be taken to the guests. We decided not to return.

First of all, we wanted to order our food using the QR code, as it was advertised. However, the site doesn't work, which was really annoying because the ladies and gentlemen had a lot to do. It was a great day with a great restaurant location. It was pretty full. So no problem so far. The drink order for two drinks took a long time due to the number of people, and then came incorrectly. Next door, the drinks didn't come at all and a meal came wrong at first and only came back when everyone had finished eating. The food looks like cafeteria food. I had a schnitzel with fries and a side salad. The salad was watery and not dressed. So it didn't taste like anything and unfortunately it looked like it had been lying there for a long time. The schnitzel wasn't fried well at all and was pressed meat, something like what you can usually buy frozen at Aldi. The fries were not baked golden brown but yellow and the schnitzel lay on the fries as visible in the pictures in the other reviews, which made it a bit unfortunate to eat and cut. So you can really sit there in your heart and the waitresses are really nice, I wouldn't eat warm there again. The team really needs reinforcements and a better chef. The prices were of course really okay at €15 for schnitzel and fries, but the taste was not great. :/ It's a shame for such a nice restaurant. I think you can do better.

Best place on Heligoland, right in the middle of the action. You can sit directly in front of the restaurant or on the lawn under the chestnut tree. Ordered a schnitzel from Dune South. It was ok, nothing outstanding, nothing bad. However, I would describe it more as canteen food. Price ok. It tasted fine. The service was sometimes a bit haphazard, but everything obviously arrived where it was ordered. I wouldn't necessarily go there for food anymore, but rather for a drink.

We had lunch here. But with the best will in the world, I mean the staff is totally unfriendly, unmotivated and apparently completely out of their job. Please work on it. Let's start with the food. The tarte flambée is very bland and tasteless. The currywurst cannot be described as such, as it is a bad sausage served with ketchup and curry powder and the fries are fried in old fat. But on a positive note, the island is very beautiful, the paths are very well developed and definitely worth a visit.

Food was good, especially in terms of price/performance, but there is still room for improvement. There weren't enough fries for the schnitzel, but the amount of schnitzel and salad was good. The young staff was friendly.

Very nice, cozy restaurant with an outdoor area

The service staff seemed “partially” unmotivated and was very slow. In a hotel and/or restaurant, the service should always be attentive and appear motivated. In my opinion, the schnitzel in cognac sauce was a frozen industrial schnitzel made from pressed meat, i.e. cheap canteen quality and therefore, in my opinion, unworthy of a restaurant. Ketchup and mayo were served in small plastic bags that were on the plate in the sauce. Unfortunately that's not possible; the cones should at least be served separately on a saucer or in a glass. P.S. I was there years ago and it was much better back then.

Liebe Lesenden, das Frühstück in der Düne Süd ist grandios: gesund, frisch, reichlich, vielseitig, hygienisch, lecker. Ganz BESONDERS das Rührei - das beste Rührei ever. Auch der Mittagstisch ist sehr zu empfehlen - der Koch scheint seinen Beruf sehr zu lieben. Die Servicekräfte sind super lieb und bleiben in Stresssituationen gelassen und menschlich. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch. Wir sind regelmäßig dort.

We got our breakfast here through the hotel. The restaurant is modern and stylishly furnished. The breakfast was just great, very large selection of different sausages, cheese, jams and fruit. There were also eggs in various variations, as well as sausages and bacon. The staff was always very attentive and friendly.

The currywurst is definitely not recommended (more of a kind of bad meat sausage). In addition, the waiters could be a little friendlier and not argue in front of the guests.

We went for dinner in the evening. Restaurant is more modernly furnished. Very clean. We felt very comfortable. The waiter was extremely nice and very accommodating. When we asked whether we could also have dishes from the tables posted outside, we immediately asked. We both had fish dishes. The fish was super fried, the fresh salad was absolutely freshly prepared, the dressing was very tasty and yet not too present, the potato salad was also very tasty. The price/performance ratio is great. We paid more for this in other restaurants on Heligoland. We are glad we discovered this store.

There are a few things that don't fit here, but let's start on a positive note. Two stars for the location and the facility. Located in the direction of the elevator to Oberland, all outdoor spaces are in the sun during the day and also on the J.-A meadow. Siemens Platz invites you to linger. There are a few nice pictures hanging inside and the furnishings are modern. That was all positive. There are two women on staff for all the outside seats. One takes orders and collects, the other serves. Definitely not enough staff for so many places. So you wait a long time until you can order or reorder. It almost makes more sense to go to the one lady. From what we've noticed, something goes wrong every second order. We also didn't drink the second drink and therefore forgot about it. When asked, it came in small and not large. But of course they wanted to cash in on the big one. Whatever isn't working at the counter seems to be serious - one star for service All you can say about food is "go somewhere else!" - two negative stars for the food. Even if it costs maybe two euros more there, you definitely get more and better quality there. Currywurst with fries for 10€ you get a large curry meat sausage and just enough fries to cover the rest of the plate but no fries on top of each other (looks somehow strange). In terms of taste, the sausage wasn't even worth €5. The best part was actually the sauce with curry powder. On the other hand, the salad with chicken breast was a joke in terms of taste and price. The amount of salad is small for 14€ and not washed well or left on the beach. The chicken was cooked unseasoned and then warmed again before serving. A watery, almost tasteless chicken breast lay lonely on the salad. You also have to say that for €2 more at other restaurants you get more salad, more chicken and more taste. Conclusion: You can sit in the sun and have a drink if you have the time and patience.

By booking a hotel room we had breakfast in the Düne Süd. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is extremely friendly and personal, everything is sparkling clean and prepared with a lot of love. The food is varied, fresh and very tasty! Thanks for that!

We went to Dune South for dinner. Both had burgers. My wife's was ok but a little more fries wouldn't have hurt. I had the pulled pork burger myself. The taste is somewhat ok, although not a highlight. However, there was so much liquid oozing out of the meat that both the bun and the fries were completely soft. Enjoyment was therefore impossible, the broth collected in the depression on the plate and ran disgustingly down your hands. I told the waitress. She wanted to find out why. I hope it wasn't water from the meat thawing. We ended up having to wait around 15 minutes to pay. It's a shame about the money we left in the store.

We stopped here for something to eat and drink during a day trip to Heligoland. We had cheeseburgers and currywurst with fries. The food was sufficient and tasty. The price is certainly in the upper range but totally okay for this location (directly in the pedestrian zone). The extremely nice, attentive service and the clean toilets were very pleasing!!!!

Admittedly, the prices are a little more expensive, but you sit right on the shopping street with a perfect view of the people passing by. My tarte flambée was very tasty (and crispy).

Essen billig, fettig und nicht zu empfehlen.

Essen ist zufriedenstellen, nichts berauschendes. Service ist leider unmotiviert und versteht sehr schlecht Deutsch. Das Restaurant bietete einige Stolperfallen durch Absätze!

Ich hatte Rotbarsch mit Salzkartoffeln. Die Kartoffeln schmeckten gar nicht, sie waren aufgewärmt. Der Salat war auch mäßig. Als ich gefragt wurde, ob alles schmeckt und ich meinen Unmut geäußert habe, hat es nicht interessiert.

Tagestour Helgoland. Irgendwo muss man ja Essen. Es war günstig und schnell serviert, doch schmackhaft leider nicht so sehr. Pulled Pork Burger war vorbereitet und wohl in einer Pfanne in Öl zum Verzehr erhitzt. Also triefte alles und das Bun zerfiel deswegen schon beim anfassen. Beim Personal gab es nichts zu meckern. Super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir hatten die Burger Veggie & Cheese und den Wolfsbarsch. Netter Service. Gutes Essen. Preis Leistung passt.

Das Essen ist o.k.aber auch nicht mehr. 4 von uns 5 Personen sind nicht satt geworden. Dafür preislich überhaupt nicht günstig. Meine Matjes waren geschmacklich recht neutral. Personal freundlich. Wir gehen eher da nicht noch mal hin.

Speisen und Getränke befriedigend – Service und Ambiente schlecht – Unfall- und Gesundheitsgefahr inklusive… … so lässt sich in einem Satz der Besuch des Lokals „Düne Süd“ auf der Hochseeinsel Helgoland zusammenfassen. An einem Sommertag im Juni diesen Jahres -immerhin bereits Hauptsaison- besuchten wir das oben genannte Lokal „Düne Süd“. Dem Lokal gegenüber lud eine Grünfläche den Besucher zum Verweilen ein. Fast alle Plätze waren besetzt und so waren wir froh, gerade in der Mittagszeit noch einen freien Tisch erhaschen zu können. Die mit einer Bordsteinkante von der Straße abgeteilte Freifläche war mit Rasen bewachsen, welcher aber weit davon entfernt war einen gepflegten Eindruck zu machen - seiner Länge wegen - der letzte Rasenmäher ist hier wohl schon vor mehreren Wochen zum Einsatz gekommen. Nachdem wir Platz genommen hatten kam die Bedienung relativ zügig um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen. Während Speisen und Getränke zwar Standard-Qualität hatten und auch in angemessener Zeit serviert wurden, verleiden der schlechte Service und das gefährliche Umfeld uns jedoch einen nochmaligen Besuch in dieser Lokalität. Die Toilettenbenutzung im Lokal „Düne Süd“ ist insofern erschwert, als sich die sanitären Anlagen unten im Keller befinden und nur über eine schmale Steintreppe erreichbar sind. Das Herren-WC, welches auf den ersten Blick einen funktional-angenehmen Eindruck machte, bürgte doch beim genaueren Hinsehen einige unschöne Überraschungen. So sind in den Ecken und an der Decke direkt über dem Waschbecken Schimmelflächen sichtbar und auch die Lampen haben, am Sauberkeitsgrad gemessen, ihre besten Tage lange hinter sich gelassen. Richtig gefährlich wird es, wenn man sich nach dem Händewaschen mit den noch nassen Händen in Richtung Handtuchspender bewegt, ragen dort doch nicht isolierte (wahrscheinlich noch stromführende) Adern eines anscheinend nicht mehr benötigten Stromkabels aus der Wand. Von den Eindrücken auf der Toilette noch nachhaltig negativ beeinflusst machte ich mich auf den Weg über die Steintreppe nach oben. Diesen Weg musste ich im dunklen zurücklegen, da der hierfür angebrachte Bewegungsmelder seiner Aufgabe nicht nachkam und das Licht ausgeschaltet ließ. Da die genannte Steintreppe, mit ihren merkwürdigen Maßen in Auftrittbreite und Steigungshöhe, wahrscheinlich auch fernab sämtlicher baurechtlicher Vorschriften rangiert ist es denn auch nicht weiter verwunderlich, dass ich beim Treppenaufstieg gestürzt bin. Als ich nach dem Toilettenbesuch zum Tisch zurückkehrte musste ich feststellen, dass mein Stuhl inzwischen an einen anderen Gast vergeben worden war, obwohl durchaus wieder genug andere freie Stühle zur Verfügung standen und meine Begleitung den Servicemitarbeiter mehrere Male darauf hingewiesen hatte, das ich gleich zurück käme. Also blieb mir nichts anderes übrig, als mir einen neuen noch freien Stuhl zum besorgen um wenigstens mein Getränk in Ruhe austrinken zu können. Die Zeche zahlen im Lokal „Düne Süd“ gestaltet sich insofern schwierig, als das die Zahlung nur in bar möglich ist. Es ist mir persönlich unbegreiflich, wie eine moderne Gastronomie heutzutage dem Gast keine bargeldlosen Zahlungsarten anbieten kann. Eine Quittung wurde nach der Barzahlung auch nicht ausgestellt sodass es den Anschein erweckt, dass auch nicht jede Bestellung korrekt verbucht und abgerechnet wird. Auf Nachfrage waren die Mitarbeiter ebenso nicht in der Lage mir die zu meiner Bestellung passende Quittung aus dem Kassenjournal auszudrucken, sodass letzten Endes, da ich nicht locker ließ, die gesamte Bestellung noch einmal gebongt wurde. Fazit: Das in keinster Weise barrierefreie Lokal „Düne Süd“ auf der Hochseeinsel Helgoland ist weit davon entfernt, dem Gast einen guten Service zu bieten. Die erhöhte Unfallgefahr sowie mögliche Gesundheitsschäden durch Schimmel, bei Nutzung der sanitären Anlagen, schrecken vor einem nochmaligen Besuch dieser Lokalität ab und auch die nur durchschnittliche Qualität der Speisen und Getränke zieht hier keine Gäste an. Da diese Missstände bereits an den für den Gast zugänglichen Orten auffallen mag man sich nicht vorstellen, welche Gefahren oder baulichen und hygienischen Mängel hinter den Kulissen wie zum Beispiel in der Restaurantküche herrschen. Der Betreibergesellschaft „Unternehmensverbund Rickmers-Helgoland“ kann hier nur ganz eindrücklich empfohlen werden die Missstände in diesem Lokal umgehend abzustellen.

Hier gibt es ein vielfältiges und leckeres Frühstücksbuffet - nicht nur für Hausgäste.

Die zahlreichen negativen Bewertungen kann ich kaum teilen. Das Schnitzel Wiener Art war super!!!! 0 fettig oder triefig dafür außen schön kross und innen saftig. Die Pommes waren ebenfalls super. Service war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Auch der Knieper Burger meiner Frau war sehr, sehr lecker mit selbstgemachter Knieper Bulette. Eine schöne Symbiose zwischen Tradition und Moderne, und wo kann man sowas auf der Welt schon essen?

Wir waren zum Abendessen in der Düne Süd. Auf den Aufstellern vor dem Restaurant waren Gerichte angeboten, die uns interessiert hatten. Auf Nachfrage mussten wir dann aber leider erfahren, dass es sich dabei um die Mittagskarte handelte und diese Gerichte jetzt - gegen Abend - nicht mehr zu haben waren. Warum nimmt man dann diese Aufsteller nicht weg oder kennzeichnet darauf die Angebote zumindest entsprechend? Das Essen nach Karte ist eher als unterer Durchschnitt zu bezeichnen. Alle Fisch- und Fleischgerichte werden ohne jegliche Beilagen angeboten. Diese kann man dazu bestellen - jede Beilage (z.B. Pommes, Kartoffeln, Kartoffelsalat, gemischter Salat usw.) - kostet 3 Euro. Und damit ist man dann auch schon ganz schnell bei recht hohen Preisen, für ein Gericht, die von anderen - guten - Anbietern teilweise doch erheblich unterboten werden. Der gemischte Salat für 3 € befand sich in einer sehr kleinen Schüssel auf dem Teller. Von der Menge her etwas, was andere Anbieter als Deko dabeilegen! Der von uns bestellte Kartoffelsalat war eindeutig fertig gekauft und hatte bestenfalls Standardqualität. Die Räumlichkeiten sind zwar nach dem Umbau größer, heller und freundlich geworden. Aber das war auch schon der einzige positive Aspekt. Wer auf Helgoland gut essen gehen möchte, sollte lieber einen weiten Bogen um Düne Süd machen!

Wir können es nicht weiter empfehlen: Leider ein TK Schnitzel und kalter Burger-allerdings war der Service gut.

Kleine Karte mit Burger und Flammkuchen und kleinen Snacks. Preise ok. Bedienung schnell und nett. Man kann dort auch draußen gemütlich sitzen. Zu den Stoßzeiten recht voll. Schöner Laden. Zu empfehlen. Essen sehr lecker. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren mal wieder zum Abendessen hier. Das Personal war freundlich. Daß Essen war gut und der Preis stimmte auch. unsere Hunde durften auch mit.

Das unfreundlichste was wir je erlebt haben. Sehen uns nicht wieder Wir Touristen bringen doch das Geld. Sonst war es immer top

Die Kellnerin war sehr aufmerksam, im Rahmen ihrer Möglichkeiten, bei der grossen Anzahl an Tischen, und freundlich zu uns.Auch in Zeiten von Corona.Man sollte allerdings etwas Zeit mitbringen. Abends haben wir dort gegessen. Es hat uns gut geschmeckt und wir würden wieder hingehen.

Die Düne Süd verdient zu Recht die schlechte Bewertung. Total unfreundliche Bedienung, schlechte Flammkuchen, dafür aber ein Biergarten. Trotzdem am besten zum Essen meiden. Für ein Bier OK.

Im Juni 2020 besuchte ich wieder mal meine Kinder auf Helgoland. Bislang genoss ich bei einem Kaffee immer die Sonne auf der Terrasse bei der Düne Süd. Doch was ich diesmal erlebte, haut dem Fass die Krone ins Gesicht. Die deutsche, weibliche Bedienung warf mir vor, ich würde zu lange hier sitzen und sie hätte nur 2,30€ verdient. Ich hätte zu lange den Platz besetzt, so dass keine anderen Gäste kommen könnten. Nun ja, ein Cappuccino und ein Rhabarber-Saftschorle kosten dort mehr. Und davon abgesehen, ist das ein absolutes „No Go“. War selbst 38 Jahre in der Gastronomie tätig. Aber DAS hat mit Kundenservice - gerade in der Corona-Zeit - wahrlich nichts zu tun. 👎🏼

Ein guter Garten in der Lunge Wai, freundlicher Service, gegessen haben wir nicht, es gibt dort hauptsächlich Burger

Wir haben uns im Biergarten, auf einer Wiese gesetzt. Die Kellnerin legte uns lustlos die Speisekarte und die Meldebögen hin. Diese wurden auch nicht mehr eingesammelt. Die Karten waren aus Papier. Diese konnten also nicht desinfiziert werden und wurden mehrmals benutzt.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier. Meine Schwägerin als Vegetarierin war sehr zufrieden! Unser Kellner war sehr freundlich und nett! Die Pizza ist zwar nicht mehr schön dick wie früher aber war noch ok! Ich fühle mich immer sehr wohl hier, da es für mich das "helgoländer Hard Rock Café" ist!

Extrem pampiger Herr am Bedienen. Kate allenfalls Imbiss Niveau. Die Pizza war okay.in Zukunft lassen wir unser Geld aber sicher da,wo wir erwünscht sind.

Die weibliche Bedienung war der Gipfel der Arroganz und Frechheit. Nach 15 Min hat sie sich das erste Mal blicken lassen. Einfach die Karte auf den Tisch geknallt und eine blödes Gesicht gezogen. Keine Begrüssung und keine Kommunikation . Wir sind wieder gegangen. Am Nachbartisch war man auch sehr unzufrieden. Auf Helgoland ist man so einiges gewohnt aber um dieses Lokal sollte man einen weiten Bogen machen...! Null Sterne für so eine Frechheit!!!!

Bestellter Tisch war für uns reserviert. :) Essen (Cheeseburger mit Pommes) viel auf dem Teller. Lecker angerichtet. Leider die Frikadelle...

Wir wollten ein Eis essen, da diese Lokalität als Café ausgewiesen war. Wir durften uns für 4,70€ einen Pappbecher voll...
