Dübelsbrücker Kajüt in Hamburg

We are long-time visitors and were very 😞 disappointed with the portion size and the size of the fish pieces in the Fischpann. The fried potatoes also consisted more of tomatoes and cucumber and some of the slices were very hard and tasted like they were from the day before. Maybe there's someone else in the kitchen, but in any case it's nothing compared to previous visits. Nevertheless, a very nice restaurant furnished with great attention to detail and an absolute feel-good atmosphere❤️❤️❤️The best thing is and remains the service and the wonderful coffee!!😍😘☕️Excellent location!!!

Nicer staff can hardly be found. If you can also sit outside by the Elbe: fantastic. The food is great and cheap for the quality.

Yes, very much so. The owners and staff are super nice and always try to find you a place. It would therefore be advisable to reserve a table in advance.

Despite the full outdoor area, I was allowed to sit down after a short wait. The food and service were very good. The view and the evening atmosphere are wonderful! See you soon!

We ate really delicious panfish in a rustic atmosphere in this quaint ship restaurant. Luckily we had reserved a table because at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening there were already a lot of people waiting for a free table. At the end we got a grappa on the house. We thought that the landlord was very nice 😊.

Nice restaurant right on the water. Here you can sit outside and watch the ships go by. The staff was friendly and the drinks came quickly. Prices for drinks ok.

Nice little beer garden with a nice location and a view of the Elbe and the ships coming and going. In the evening it becomes really calming and cozy. The food was good... nature took care of the rest 😌

I went there without a reservation on a weekday around 6:00 p.m. and it was quite crowded. I liked the location and view and would have liked to have eaten there. I had no idea that the free places were reserved. I approached the waiter on the dock, who noticed me but initially turned his back on me at the station until I spoke to him. I asked kindly if there was still a place for me. Indifferent to annoyed, he just looked over his shoulder and growled 'reservedly' at me, very dismissive and not very hospitable. Afterwards I thought about reserving for another day, but as an individual I find it difficult to imagine having a good time with this treatment. You don't just go to a restaurant to eat. That would be my standard for a snack bar. Even if the waiter is friendly next time, it might just be because he might expect a tip for seating me. You have to be philanthropic for hospitality to have a chance. Friendliness, not just at the table, is my advice.

The food is delicious. Unfortunately it's far too greasy for my taste and the portions are manageable. There could always be a bit more on it. So in my opinion the price is not justified and is around 10% too high. The service is friendly and attentive, the ambience is rustic inside and not really successful outside. That's better.

A really great little fish restaurant. Price-performance ratio is 100%. There is a small deduction for the food, I would have liked to have only deducted half a star. The potato salad wasn't to my taste, but that's not standard. After all, tastes are different and that's a good thing. The fish, however, and the homemade tartar sauce were great!!! The atmosphere is rustic. The restaurant is on the water and moves with the tides, totally cool. The service was great! We'd love to come back as soon as we're back in Hamburg.

We were here for the first time the day before yesterday, as luck would have it, and were totally thrilled by the food, ambience and friendliness. That's why we came by again today, 15 people from our bowling team. We had a great time sitting at the round table, enjoyed the food and the service was great and very friendly, even though it was so full! “Team Germany” would like to thank you for the wonderful evening with a triple: “Good wood, good wood, good wood!”

I can't recommend it at all, very poor quality and the cleanliness is poor.

Unfortunately a bit hidden, but disappointed on the second visit, certainly high season, but an estimated 100 glasses to wash on the counter and tables. Finkenwerder plaice has risen enormously in price.

A little hidden and small, but pearly and fine. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation (Tuesday, 6:00 p.m. - it became full shortly after we arrived) - Ergo: reservations certainly make sense here. The size of the menu is sufficient and of course there are lots of fish dishes. The food comes quickly and tastes very good. The prices are ok. Nice view of the Elbe. Diagonally opposite is Airbus, so every now and then a plane whizzes over it.

Very down-to-earth pub with excellent, down-to-earth cuisine. Normally fully occupied in the evenings 7 days a week, so it's best to make a short reservation

Ideal for anyone looking for a typical Hamburg restaurant. Classic North German cuisine and a real maritime flair. Very easy and cheap to reach with the line ferry 62 and 64 from Landungsbrücken. The way back with bus 112 on the Elbchause is also very nice. You should make a reservation.

Great ambience, right on the harbor, food ok, middle class, potatoes fresh, fish I don't think so, service mediocre.

Very good food, we ordered panfish and schnitzel, a larger salad as a side dish would be even better, but still you can't complain.

The food seems freshly made (fried potatoes, tartar sauce, fried fish). Great ambience with an outdoor terrace hidden behind trees right on the Elbe. Drinks should have arrived a little quicker and reordered - but to be fair, it was extremely busy on this unpredictably sunny day. Service was otherwise top. We'll definitely come back.

A visit to the Dübelsbrücker Kajüt is a must on our visits to Hamburg. Once again we really enjoyed the plaice and fried fish with side dishes. Fast and friendly service. We have fond memories of the evening of lively conversation with regular guests at our table and lots of useful Hamburg tips.

A quaint economy. But only for seaworthy people, since it's on a ship and it rocks every now and then.

I sat outside here today with quite a bit of wind but mild spring sunshine and enjoyed plaice Finkenwerder style. Very nice, and since the boss said it was a little smaller than usual, I got the drink for free. Thank you for this hospitable experience!

Quaint and cozy restaurant with friendly and nice service. The food (fried fish, pan fish and fried potatoes) was tasty but very fatty. The portion sizes were a bit small but fried potatoes were delivered to us at no extra charge. It was a nice evening. I can recommend the restaurant.

The Labskaus tasted sour, the beetroot was missing and everything was carelessly prepared. The price for it was outrageous. Due to the volume in the restaurant, conversation was only possible by shouting.

This is a very special and well hidden diamond. Fascinating place with an interesting history. The food is great, and prices are fair. The service is fantastic and the place has some of the most friendly staff I've ever come across. Do however be aware that they do not accept foreign credit cards, so be armed with cash :-) Update: Half a year later we visited again (in february) - and I have to add that this place is hosted by some of the most kind people we have met. The food was, like last last time, absolutely spot-on.

Fried potatoes are very good, whatever. When the weather is good, you can also sit on the harbor pier and enjoy the panoramic view of the Elbe, the harbor and the ships passing by.

If you would like to enjoy northern German specialties in a cozy atmosphere with friendly service and all on the Elbe, this is definitely the right place for you. Highly recommended in summer and winter...

This was my second time there. I was impressed by the food: the fried fish is one of the best I've eaten so far. On my first visit I had grilled calamari, which was also very good. A reservation is strongly recommended as the restaurant is very busy.

The Labskaus with fried eggs, herring and side dish was delicious. Food came quickly. Location was good, you felt like you were transported back in time a little.

If you go to Hamburg, you have to stop by and eat. Spectacular. Very cozy, small, familiar and a great atmosphere. Luxury food and the same staff. The best.

Das ist nun gut 40 Jahre her, als ich zum ersten Mal dort Fisch 🐟 gegessen hatte. Schon damals zog mich das liebevoll historisch eingerichtete, schwimmende Restaurant in seinen Bann. Seither ist dort bei jedem Hamburgbesuch ein leckeres 😋 Fischessen ein "Muss". Ich hoffe, dass es weiterhin so bleibt.

Es war kühl im Restaurant. 23 Euro für Grünkohl ist ziemlich teuer.

Sehr gut gegessen, Abrechnung hat etwas gedauert, da es Probleme mit dem Kartenlesegerät gab, die Inneneinrichtung ist zu sehr auf Fischerboot ausgerichtet, weniger wäre besser

Eine urige Lokalität am Strom der Gezeiten. Mal geht man ganz entspannt hinunter und bei Ebbe geht es steil hinab😏 Zivile Preise und tolle Atmosphäre. Muss man gesehen haben. Leute geht Mal hin und ihr werdet begeistert sein . Genau gegenüber sind Parkplätze kostenlos vorhanden 👏👍

Wir haben auf der "Kajüt" eine kurze Pause gemacht und haben etwas getrunken. Das Ambiente ist einmalig: klein aber fein. Preis Leistung war sehr gut.

Norddeutsch, Hamburgerisch und Teufelbrückerich. Dicht bei der Elbe und Wasser unter die Füße. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Auch die Lage erlaubt es das Auto zu Hause zulassen oder wie ich gemacht habe einfach zwischengepakt und mit Öffis oder Mietrad aus Ottensen zu kommen . Speisen urig und lecker. Dem Preis entsprechend gut. Service immer am Gast. Vorbuchen zu empfehlen.
