We were there as a closed society. There was a buffet with mac & cheese, corn soup and a tortilla platter. Then they went around with fries and tortillas. It was delicious, unfortunately I didn't get any fries. But the tank beer tasted great!

Great restaurant! I was there for the second time. First we had the baked nachos, very tasty! The cheesesteak was also great and I really enjoyed it. We also shared a portion of P. Fries, which was completely enough for two. Price is okay, I found it a bit too cold in the restaurant. I would also like it if you could make a reservation. Otherwise, a very big recommendation to eat here!

First of all, I have to say that I think it's a SUPER Pity that CROQUES is only available for CORPORATE CUSTOMERS, so even after so many years there is still a lack of a good Croque shop in Langenhorn (I don't count the 🐊 and the hut because it's not worth mentioning) Very sad! So today I had a veggie cheeseburger for the first time. There is still room for improvement, I have to admit. I ordered it without tomatoes because I just don't like them. Unfortunately, the burger is very sparsely topped and all you can really taste is the burnt, roasted aroma of the bun (?). That's not what a veggie would like to taste, I'll say. The patty was also quite small in relation to the bun. I think €11 is a bit too expensive for that. I'm not sure if it was really a veggie patty? 🤔 Nevertheless, you are a cool location and have nice and friendly colleagues. 🥰 Happy to think more of the veggie people 😁

Brilliant service, if you have any minor inconveniences you will be taken care of exceptionally well. The food was really enjoyable, you don't want to stop eating. The bread, the meat, the sauce, everything was delicious. (Only fries were nothing special and the Casablanca lacks seasoning or sauce). Also the dessert: heavenly! Thank you for the priceless service (10 out of 5 stars!), that's why we'll definitely be back!

Dieter Sanchez sounds contradictory in the name and so does the whole restaurant. And I find that very charming. Innovative and improvised. The cheesesteak sandwiches are the store's pride and joy. And the tank beer. And both are recommended. The atmosphere is rather thrown together. But comfortable. The service is consistently personal, friendly, funny and entertaining. That's the best thing about the store, even better than eating and drinking.

Rustic place for great cheesesteaks, burgers and fries. Plus exclusive Pilsener Urquell from the tank. It is located above the counter and is regularly filled by a tanker. I haven't seen that before. The beer is rather bitter, finely bubbled with little foam and drinkable. The food is served in stylish plastic baskets. 11/19/24: The Jala De La Peño (cheesesteak) is really awesome. Plus delicious cask soda - I'm happy every time. 11/25/24/6:00 p.m. The place is full because it's Croque Monday. A reminiscence of Gisela Sanchez, which has unfortunately now closed its doors. The current Croque version is now available here a few days before Christmas. Each guest fills out an order form themselves. The great baguette can be either 18 or 27cm long. There are common and less common toppings, such as nachos or ground beef. In any case, a really tasty croque is made. I haven't had one this good in a long time. Maybe there will be a Croque Monday more often. 12/16/24/6pm: Made it to Croque Monday again. Luckily, this time we had reserved and didn't rely on our luck from last time, when we barely got the last table. And that was clever, because the place was full again in no time. A nice table for four (for two!). But that was a good idea because last time we didn't know how good the pieces tasted and we were definitely planning a larger portion for this time. Great joy at the reception: The boss immediately praised us about the special of the day: two types of freshly opened oysters. With lemon and vinaigrette. Of course we had to strike immediately. Two of each variety bridged the time until the croques were finished very well. The croques were again first class. At first we thought we had been a bit too greedy because the table was now full of four different crocks. But far from it: because of the great taste (bread, salad, sauces and toppings), the dish was eaten again at the speed of light. We had ham, pulled pork, tuna and sucuk. Everything is really great. Best beer 🍺 in the world (tank beer) is served here! Plus good food at fair prices with very friendly and efficient service. Payment can be made cashless 👍🏻. Parking not so easy.

This is something completely different. The combination of cheesesteak, the special fries variations and the tank beer, simply brilliant. As a tip: order a side of fries for two.

Waited 45 minutes for the order to get ready, and this is what I got for chili cheese fries orde. Fries with onion topping despite the fact that at the time of ordering, I made sure of the content of my order, which is standard all over the world, Fries Chili & cheese sauce and server repeated the exact same that is in their chilli cheese fries item but instead I got fries with onion topping I have not seen bot heard and when I asked arroganybanswered that is what it is with us. That is not a way to handle your mistake and returning customer.

Tasty Sandwich. It was served very hot at the beginning and if the food is very hot, the taste will be lost. I think the fries were the frozen version and not the freshly cut potatoes. Knobibrot was really tasty. Very attentive staff. The „Flör de Jamaica“ was also good but not a special one.

The food was okay for me. Bread was fresh but unfortunately the sauces weren't the best. In my opinion, the meat was unfortunately frozen and for this price you would expect a little more. Drinks were good and the service was great!

Went spontaneously on a Saturday evening. We were very nicely greeted and seated. We ordered their version of Animal fries (Google doesn't let me post the real name), Mex fries, and pulled pork hoagie. I can honestly say that the food was just fantastic! We will definitely come back.

A snack bar whose outdoor seating is located directly on the main street and is also subject to considerable aircraft noise at times. Then why 5 stars? Because the fast food simply tastes very good and the team on site is just super nice. Prices are completely reasonable and the beer (Pivo) in particular is wonderfully drinkable. By the way, popcorn to take away as a dessert is highly recommended - I've never experienced the slight hint of cinnamon in popcorn before.

LA Super nice welcome.!' Fries in gravy with Mexican seasoning and ingredients, the menu said fries poutine (actually Canadian style). It was very freely interpreted, a lot doesn't always help a lot!' The mousse au chocolate came in a very unconventional way in a mason jar. However, the taste and consistency are very good!' The food is great, service is super friendly but it has become really expensive so between the two of us we paid almost €80, you have to pay separately for sauces, fries no longer come with a burger and you have to pay extra for them. Overall, it's not worth taking a detour, there are other options just as good. The prices are outrageous. NEVER AGAIN!

I've driven by several times and have planned to visit the store several times. Never done due to the difficult parking situation. Til today! I immediately regret not coming here sooner. I would also walk across the city for the cheesesteak sandwich! The service was super nice and attentive, the atmosphere was super relaxed. All in all a great experience. We were totally thrilled. First there was Chicken Madamfos, fried chicken breast with sweet chili sauce, the portion was great as a starter for 2 men. Because the main course took a little longer, the super friendly and attentive service staff brought us a few chips with sauce for free and without asking. Then there was regular cheesesteak with fries. The whole thing was super tasty, appropriately sized portions, the bread was soft and tender and the meat fell apart in the bun, just as it should. The owner also stopped by and seemed very nice. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

A very trendy place to enjoy a delicious meal in a casual atmosphere! As soon as we enter, we are greeted by the magical smile of a blonde service angel. A short orientation moment and we are offered a cozy place for two. The menu offers a wide range of vegan and meat-based dishes, which are obviously influenced by Mexican cuisine. We enjoyed chicken hoagie, plain pulled pork and porn fries (fries with a cheese sauce, mayonnaise and fresh onions). To drink there was fresh Kulmbacher Dunkel and Pilsener Urquell - it went perfectly! Such a feast for the eyes are the lovely ladies who serve, and the dishes on offer are such an unrestricted experience for the hungry palate! The air conditioning system, which is a little too busy, could be given a little more rest. Conclusion: For me as an Oldenburger, the prices are quite moderate and the food and drinks are definitely worth the money! You should definitely stop by here - you'll only regret driving past!

Arrived with mixed feelings, left very happy. Dieter Sanchez is an institution. First of all, we weren't sure what to expect based on the pictures and our expectations were therefore cautious. The restaurant has charm. A mixture of fast food restaurant, American and the fresh Hamburg style. The furnishings and the concept fit. The service was awesome. Very friendly, committed and warm. Great. Of course the food is convincing. Don't be alarmed by the prices, the dishes are a decent portion. If desired, it is best to share a side dish.

Was with Dieter again after a very long time. What a change! Looks really good and makes you feel comfortable. Very nicely done. The service was really great, even though the restaurant was full. And the burger was top notch - I've rarely had one so well prepared. And the (P)orno fries first: simply great. And don't forget the tank beer - Pilsner Urquell at it's best.

Originally my favorite restaurant, but the prices are no longer acceptable to me now, €22.40 for a cheesesteak with fries. Last time I was there it was €16.90 including fries, of course inflation and all, but too expensive for fast food.

Served by truly hand-picked staff, super friendly and accommodating. The question now remains, where can I get the next burger on the highway? Found this restaurant on Google maps while staying at a nearby hotel and it advertised itself as the home of the Philly Cheesesteak. We were interested in finding out how cheesesteaks were in Germany and wow, they are huge! The roll was larger than the basket the sandwich is served in and there was so much stuffed into the sandwich that it kept falling out as we tried to eat them. I couldn't eat the entire roll and ate most of the filling with a fork! The waiter had recommended fries with a ton of toppings like cheese, salsa, bacon and ?? and they were delicious. Most of the staff spoke German but we did get a waiter who spoke English The menu was in German only but our waiter helped us figure out what to order. The staff was friendly. It is obvious this is a local hangout as there were lots of families and couples there. I would recommend it to anyone staying near the Hamburg airport - it was only about a 15 minute walk from our hotel.

In my opinion the best burger in Hamburg. Good selection, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I've eaten at Dieter Sanchez several times now and have never been disappointed with a burger or a Philly cheesesteak. Definitely worth a visit. Price-performance ratio is also perfectly fine.

Really a real experience. Great, very attentive service, the food was super tasty and freshly made, we would love to come back.

I thought the food was ok, unfortunately it's not high-quality frozen fries (at least they taste like that - pressed mashed potatoes), which is absolutely not appropriate for the price, a bit cheeky. I had a basil lemonade, I didn't like it at all, the basil was already oxidized and the color was very dark, I also let it go back (according to the waitress it was freshly prepared in the morning? - I'm surprised because I've done something like that myself and actually love the taste of it and it doesn't tip over so quickly). Unfortunately the plain sandwich was a bit too salty, but you could eat it. The service was great, very accommodating, and I didn't have to pay for the basil lemonade. In terms of taste and quality, given the price, it's unfortunately not worth another visit for me, even despite inflation. Even though the plain sandwich with the bread is extremely good and the toppings for the fries are also very well put together and harmonize well. My friend was happy with the nachos and fries, but would also refrain from visiting again. She was missing the milkshakes for the American diner feeling. On the whole, you can visit the shop once, but unfortunately there is no lasting love in it, although there is potential if quality is put more into focus - even if the huge portions could then be a little smaller.

Hammer! I've been working nearby for years but we only made it here yesterday. Since reservations are not possible, we were initially seated at the bar. Here we were able to try the super delicious draft beer. (I didn't know that at all. At first I was a bit surprised about all the foam, but that's how it is so that the aromas are preserved). Then after 15 minutes we were brought to a table. The food came quickly and was really tasty! Nicely seasoned, nice and juicy, everything is great! The service was always super friendly and accommodating from start to finish, even though it got really busy! Thank you for the lovely evening and we will definitely be back! :-)

Cool location... friendly staff... delicious food. Reservation definitely makes sense. But if you want to stop by unannounced and have a little time to wait, you can still get a spot. I can recommend it without reservation.
