The service was the nicest I've seen in a long time, and the food was phenomenal.

This was my first time at Dieter Sanchez's. The food was incredibly delicious, the nachos were amazing, the Wizzi Burger was brutally tasty, and the "porno fries" with onions were a knockout. The draft beer was top-notch. The service was excellent, with great people skills and absolute expertise, at least when it comes to beer. And the owner could even speak Italian: Purtroppo tra il dire e il fare c'è di mezzo il mare. See you next time in Hamburg. Moin and Ciao.

Simple, straightforward, and absolutely delicious. We stumbled upon this place by chance and were greeted incredibly warmly and casually, as if we'd been regulars for years. Our dogs were no problem at all and were immediately given a large bowl of water. We started with the baked nacos and then enjoyed the Wizard and the truffle burger. It's a pretty solid place, and my burger was tasty, but it was a bit too expensive for me. There are plenty of cheaper options in Hamburg these days, all of which I've preferred so far, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely try one of the cheesesteaks. To sum it up, you can eat there, but you have to dig much deeper into your pockets. I'd give my truffle burger 3.5 out of 5. The fries were absolutely basic, nothing special at all. I won't be ordering them next time. Oh yeah, my beer was good, and I'd order that again. The atmosphere is pretty cool, it's just a shame they don't have such long opening hours. The bar area gives the impression that it could easily stay open until 2 a.m., especially with such delicious draft beer.

Super friendly and welcoming people, great burgers, and a fantastic cheesecake. The burger (cheeseburger) was incredibly delicious. The meat is top-notch, high-quality, and very well prepared. The sauce is one of the most important parts, and here it was more than perfect. The bread is also very good. The fries are fantastic, cooked just right and nice and crispy. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. The service is superb, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Even though Dieter Sánchez is famous for his cheesesteaks, I have to promote his burgers. I had a double cheeseburger and absolutely loved it. The patty was cooked to perfection – a super juicy burger where everything perfectly blends together. Definitely give it a try!

There were three of us there and we were more than satisfied. Even a dog was allowed in the restaurant. Parking is right in front of the door and free of charge. The restrooms were in very good condition and, above all, very clean. We'll be back and thank you for over 10 years of consistently excellent food and service. 5 ⭐️

You can sit inside at small and large tables, and the same applies outside (although there it's right on the street). If you're looking for something tasty on the corner, you'll definitely find it at Dieter Sanchez.

It's quite far out, but the trip is definitely worth it. The best Philly cheese steak sandwich in Hamburg, and you can order it in many different variations! Very good meat, hot and fresh. The cheese is delicious, as it should be. A decent portion. Good fries with three different sauces. Add a Pilsner Urquell from the tank, and the meal is perfect. Service is friendly and quick.

Great food, you can eat your fill of very tasty items from the menu. The staff makes sure that everything is as it should be and will help you when needed in German and English. The atmosphere is unmistakable, you feel like you are in a classic movie bar in the USA on the highway.

I'd love to give the service 10 out of 5 stars, but unfortunately, Google doesn't allow that. My unusual special requests for fried eggs, due to my eating habits, were met with great care and humor. Starting in September, I'll also be enjoying the legendary cheesesteaks!

We always enjoy coming here. There's never anything to complain about; quite the opposite. It's always worth praising. We've always enjoyed all the dishes on the menu, including the seasonal specials, and the portions are generous. The meat is always well-seasoned, and the fries are always crispy. A definite recommendation!

The burgers are delicious. However, since the restaurant has been regularly raising their prices, it's simply too expensive. Over €18 for a burger without a side dish—who can afford that these days? You can definitely tell that the restaurant is getting less visitors as a result. That's a real shame.

Americans here, vouching for great burgers and Philly cheesesteaks (fries are ok). We were here in Hamburg for a few days. Went the first night and liked it so much, we canceled another dinner just to come back here. AND it was out of the way. Totally worth it. It’s like a diner, so expect nothing fancy. The staff are totally friendly, you can tell they have fun working there. Another HUGE plus they have Pilsner Urquell no more than 48hrs fresh straight from Czech Republic. Be sure to get a few of those!

I live in Langenhorn and am all for supporting local restaurants; Langenhorn isn't exactly the center of the world... but for the price they charge, I would expect a top-notch burger bun. For the third time in a row, this one has been very soft and flavorless. After just three bites, it completely fell apart. The buns used to be much better and served warm. The cheesesteak is very tasty and quite large... how about offering it as a half portion or as a kids' meal? Sweet potatoes would also be a good alternative to the regular fries (which were unfortunately too salty). The service was very friendly and attentive; the beer is good, and the decor is harmonious. I'm just worried that at some point it will become too expensive for the regular customers. Good meat is expensive, but at some point it will become a luxury, and that could become a problem in this area and in this neighborhood.

The best beer 🍺 in the world (tank beer) is served here! Plus, they have excellent food, like the amazing Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. All at fair prices with super friendly and efficient service. Cashless payments are accepted 👍🏻. Parking isn't easy, but I can always find a spot.

Der beste vegane Burger, den ich jeh gegessen habe. Als Bier gibt es Pilsner Urquell aus dem Tank mit natürlicher Kohlensäure, seeehr lecker. Und der Wirt ist ein super netter und sympathischer Typ. Einen Besuch kann man echt für die empfehlen, die Bar Food oder Burger brauchen. Es ist in der Gegend von Hamburg ein Highlight in einer nicht so an Gastro-Highlights reichen Ecke Hamburgs.

We were there as a closed society. There was a buffet with mac & cheese, corn soup and a tortilla platter. Then they went around with fries and tortillas. It was delicious, unfortunately I didn't get any fries. But the tank beer tasted great!

Great restaurant! I was there for the second time. First we had the baked nachos, very tasty! The cheesesteak was also great and I really enjoyed it. We also shared a portion of P. Fries, which was completely enough for two. Price is okay, I found it a bit too cold in the restaurant. I would also like it if you could make a reservation. Brilliant service, if you have any minor inconveniences you will be taken care of exceptionally well. The food was really enjoyable, you don't want to stop eating. The bread, the meat, the sauce, everything was delicious. (Only fries were nothing special and the Casablanca lacks seasoning or sauce). Also the dessert: heavenly! Thank you for the priceless service (10 out of 5 stars!), that's why we'll definitely be back!

First of all, I have to say that I think it's a SUPER Pity that CROQUES is only available for CORPORATE CUSTOMERS, so even after so many years there is still a lack of a good Croque shop in Langenhorn (I don't count the 🐊 and the hut because it's not worth mentioning) Very sad! So today I had a veggie cheeseburger for the first time. There is still room for improvement, I have to admit. I ordered it without tomatoes because I just don't like them. Unfortunately, the burger is very sparsely topped and all you can really taste is the burnt, roasted aroma of the bun (?). That's not what a veggie would like to taste, I'll say. The patty was also quite small in relation to the bun. I think €11 is a bit too expensive for that. I'm not sure if it was really a veggie patty? 🤔 Nevertheless, you are a cool location and have nice and friendly colleagues. 🥰 Happy to think more of the veggie people 😁

Dieter Sanchez sounds contradictory in the name and so does the whole restaurant. And I find that very charming. Innovative and improvised. The cheesesteak sandwiches are the store's pride and joy. And the tank beer. And both are recommended. The atmosphere is rather thrown together. But comfortable. The service is consistently personal, friendly, funny and entertaining. That's the best thing about the store, even better than eating and drinking.

Rustic place for great cheesesteaks, burgers and fries. Plus exclusive Pilsener Urquell from the tank. It is located above the counter and is regularly filled by a tanker. I haven't seen that before. The beer is rather bitter, finely bubbled with little foam and drinkable. The food is served in stylish plastic baskets. 11/19/24: The Jala De La Peño (cheesesteak) is really awesome. Plus delicious cask soda - I'm happy every time. 11/25/24/6:00 p.m. The place is full because it's Croque Monday. A reminiscence of Gisela Sanchez, which has unfortunately now closed its doors. The current Croque version is now available here a few days before Christmas. Each guest fills out an order form themselves. The great baguette can be either 18 or 27cm long. There are common and less common toppings, such as nachos or ground beef. In any case, a really tasty croque is made. I haven't had one this good in a long time. Maybe there will be a Croque Monday more often. 12/16/24/6pm: Made it to Croque Monday again. Luckily, this time we had reserved and didn't rely on our luck from last time, when we barely got the last table. And that was clever, because the place was full again in no time. A nice table for four (for two!). But that was a good idea because last time we didn't know how good the pieces tasted and we were definitely planning a larger portion for this time. Great joy at the reception: The boss immediately praised us about the special of the day: two types of freshly opened oysters. With lemon and vinaigrette. Of course we had to strike immediately. Two of each variety bridged the time until the croques were finished very well. The croques were again first class. At first we thought we had been a bit too greedy because the table was now full of four different crocks. But far from it: because of the great taste (bread, salad, sauces and toppings), the dish was eaten again at the speed of light. We had ham, pulled pork, tuna and sucuk. Everything is really great. This is something completely different. The combination of cheesesteak, the special fries variations and the tank beer, simply brilliant. As a tip: order a side of fries for two.

Waited 45 minutes for the order to get ready, and this is what I got for chili cheese fries orde. Fries with onion topping despite the fact that at the time of ordering, I made sure of the content of my order, which is standard all over the world, Fries Chili & cheese sauce and server repeated the exact same that is in their chilli cheese fries item but instead I got fries with onion topping I have not seen bot heard and when I asked arroganybanswered that is what it is with us. That is not a way to handle your mistake and returning customer.

Tasty Sandwich. It was served very hot at the beginning and if the food is very hot, the taste will be lost. I think the fries were the frozen version and not the freshly cut potatoes. Knobibrot was really tasty. Very attentive staff. The „Flör de Jamaica“ was also good but not a special one.
