Nettes american Diner, liebevoll eingerichtet, superfreundliches Personal, Essen gut. Lediglich das Popcorn zum Nachtisch muss nicht wirklich sein...

Gutes und schnell serviertes Essen bei netter Atmosphäre (wenngleich an einer Hauptstraße und flughafennah). Sie führen das köstliche tschechische Pilsner Urquell mit richtiger Schaumkrone.

Nette Bedienung und die Burger waren so gut, dass sie die Pommes weitermacht haben. Hatten Goat Burger und Phily Cheese Steak sehr lecker 😋

Cooles Personal, leckeres Essen, Angenehme Atmosphäre 👍 Premiere gehabt, hatte mir ewig vorgenommen da mal hinzugehen, jetzt war es soweit. Es gab einen sehr netten Empfang, mit der Bitte auf Wartezeit für eines Essensplatz, trotzdem saß man schon an der Bar😊 Nach einiger Zeit gabs einen Tisch. Die Bestellung wurde Aufgenommen, das Personal war locker und für nen kleinen Schnack zu haben. Fühlte mich sofort wohl. Ich habe mir für das Regular Cheesesteak entschieden mit Fritten und nen Bier dazu. Hatte soetwas noch nie gegessen und war begeistert. P.S. Darf wiederkommen

Sehr leckere Cheesesteaks und auch Beilagen und Getränke sind top! :) Preislich eher teuer aber es lohnt sich.

Erwarten Sie bitte nicht, dass die Poutine annähernd so gut ist wie in Kanada. Die Pommes waren sehr trocken, es gab zu wenig Soße und nicht den typischen Poutine-Käse. Meine Bitte um mehr Soße wurde abgelehnt. Die Burger waren lecker, aber die verwendete Veggie-Patty-Marke ist geschmacklich nicht die beste.

Ich war aus den USA zu Besuch. Alle Angestellten waren sehr freundlich. Ich habe versucht, mein Deutsch zu üben, und sie haben mich dabei sehr unterstützt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Ein Burger nach amerikanischer Art, aber viel besser als alles, was ich in den USA bekomme. Es hatte die typische Atmosphäre eines Tex-Mex-Restaurants. Es war ziemlich dunkel, aber als ich dort war, war es draußen auch dunkel und regnerisch. Ich kann einen Besuch bei Dieter Sanchez uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein.

Lecker Burger mit Bier. Hier kann man es sich in netter Atmosphäre gut gehen lassen. Das Bier schmeckt original CZ und bei den Burgern bestellt man gerne einen zweiten 😉 Empfehlung dazu ein "Anti Putin Pommes " mit jalapeños. Guten Appetit

Das beste Philly Cheessteak welches ich gegessen habe!

Hier war das Essen richtig lecker. Die Bedienungen waren sehr hilfsbereit und hatten super Empfehlungen.

Was ist das denn für ein Granatenladen? Also verrückt absolut Wahnsinn was die für Burger auf die Platte kloppen. Sogar der Ketchup ist ne ne Eigenkreation und ne absolute Macht. Also ich kann euch wirklich nur empfehlen wenn ihr einen guten Burger in Hamburg im Norden von Hamburg essen wollt kommt hierher, genießt es phänomenales Erlebnis.

Seit vielen Jahren Fan von Dieter Sanchez. Die Qualität ist unverändert gut, der Service unverändert freundlich und wie gewohnt ist es auch ohne Reservierung (ohnehin nicht möglich) meist kein Problem spontan einen Tisch zu kriegen. Aber: Eine Sache hat sich über die letzten Jahre dann leider doch negativ verändert, nämlich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wenn ich für ein Philly-Cheesesteak 22€ zahle und dann noch nicht einmal die Pommes inklusive sind (welche ebenfalls nicht unter 5€ zu haben sind), dann stimmt hier für mich einfach etwas nicht. Wir reden hier immer noch über (gutes) Fastfood, nicht über gehobene Küche. Das passt für mich persönlich leider nicht mehr zusammen, und ist weder dem Essen, noch dem Service oder dem Ambiente angemessen gegenüber. Für mich war es das daher nach vielen Jahren Treue erstmal mit Dieter Sanchez.

Leider Fleisch statt Veggie bekommen. Puh, wo fange ich an. Ich war erst echt richtig positiv überrascht das Dieter Sanchez mittlerweile alle Burger auch in vegetarisch anbietet, früher gab es nur einen Veggie Burger. Bei der Bestellung lass der Kellner die Bestellung extra nochmal vor. Beim Essen war ich schon skeptisch, fragte meinen Sitznachbarn und er sagte "mittlerweile sind die Imitate schon einfach sehr gut". Na gut, erstmal akzeptiert, hatte Hunger, das Bier schmeckte aber das mulmige Gefühl blieb. Dann kam die Rechnung. Ich hab noch überlegt, will ich es überhaupt wissen. Ich wollte und bereue es jetzt. Manchmal ist es besser unwissend zu bleiben. Schlimmer war die Reaktion der Kellnerin, nach dem Motto: unangenehm aber passiert halt. Wie lange ich Vegetarier sei wollte sie dann nach dem Abkassieren noch wissen. 10 Jahre... und so etwas ist mir bis jetzt noch nie passiert. Echt schade, ich war hatte mich so gefreut aber beim nächsten Mal wird es wieder "Vegan Eagle", da kann ich mir zumindest sicher sein...

Sehr gutes, sehr leckeres amerikanisches Essen und Longdrinks. Große Portionen. Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames Personal und gemütliches Ambiente. Es gibt auch viele Außenplätze. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Sanchez ist anders. Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, over the Top! Auch als Salat sehr sättigend und die "Porno-Fritten" vorab absolut unnötig, weil die Sandwiches schon so sättigen, aber trotzdem müssen die immer sein! Wer sagt, er steht auf US-Diner Style und wer auch mit feinstem Pilsener Ur-Quell aus dem 1000 Liter Tank umgehen kann, sollte sich hier mal von dem netten Team becircen lassen. Leider kann man nicht reservieren, aber eigentlich wartet man nicht lange Haut rein - Schmeckt fein!

Burger in Veggie kosten im Schnitt 2-3€ mehr als die Fleischvariante. Das ist in der heutigen Zeit ein absolutes NO-GO, da ein AUFPREIS für Veggie einfach nicht wirtschaftlich zu rechtfertigen ist. Beim Feta Burger wir zB nur der Speck runtergenommen… und dafür darf man dann 1€ mehr zahlen. Nee nee, Leute… das ist nicht zeitgemäß…

Lecker. Gemütlich. Einladend. Bei Dieter Sanchez kann man gemütlich ein Bierchen trinken, frisches Popcorn snacken oder auch verschiedene Varianten vom Philly Cheesesteak probieren. Eine klare Empfehlung, hier gehe ich tatsächlich häufiger hin. Kleiner Wermutstropfen - die Öffnungszeiten.

Lecker Essen. Nette Bedienung. Das Tankbier ist wirklich mal was Anderes, im positivsten Sinn. Über das Ambiente kann man streiten, sich aber auch dran gewöhnen.

Alles in Allem: wunderbar! Als starter hatten wir überbackene Nachos, diese waren grandios! Mein Mann hat sich dann das Jala De La Peno bestellt- Original Philly Cheesesteak mit Jalepenos und ich hatte den Cheesesteak Salat. Beide Gerichte waren super zubereitet, sehr schmackhaft und toll angerichtet! Wir kommen definitiv wieder, sobald wir erneut aus Hamburg fliegen. Die Mitarbeiterin (evtl. Inhaberin) hat uns sehr gut beraten und uns in der Entscheidungsfindung geholfen. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch! Wir hatten noch einige Cocktails nach dem Essen, daher war unsere Rechnung etwas höher. Ansonsten kamen wir mit 20-30€ pro Person gut aus.

Gestern wieder im Dieter Sanchez gewesen und glücklicherweise Tisch bekommen. :) Es war wieder klasse! Sehr freundliche Bedienung, super Essen. Da ich nur einmal die Woche einen Cheat Day einlege und ansonsten OMAD esse, war das ein gut investierten Cheat Day. Vielen Dank!

Ich war am Samstag direkt zur Öffnung, weshalb genug Plätze zum Essen frei waren. Ich hatte das Cheesesteak "Regular", welches ich sehr angenehm im Geschmack fand. Die Anti Putin Poutine Pommes waren auch lecker, aber irgendwas hat mir gefehlt an den Pommes. Wahrscheinlich sind sie für meinen Geschmack nicht knusprig genug gewesen.

Ich bin wirklich kein Burger-Fan. Aber diese Bürger sind einfach großartig. Auch das vegane Philly Cheesesteak ist phantastisch!

Das Essen war wie immer super. Der Service ebenfalls. Leider hatten wir einen Platz am Fenster wo es sau kalt war, obwohl die Heizung auf 5 gestellt war.

Die Philly Cheesesteaks sind heute einfach super lecker und man sollte auch ein paar Minuten warten bevor man sie isst denn sie wirklich heiss wie Lava und ich hab mir schon mehrere Male den Mund verbrannt. Dazu schmeckt das Tankbier besonders gut. Der Laden ist wie ein amerikanischer Diner eingerichtet und die Atmosphäre sehr familiär und Dieter selber ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Komme immer wieder gerne hier her.

Wenn Ihr in der Nähe seit, unbedingt hingehen. Sehr gute Philly in urigen Ambiente mit netter Bedienung. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Wir waren hier sxhon unzählige Male essen. Das Dieter Sanchez ist immer eine Bank, wenn man einen schönen Abend mit Freunden verbringen möchte. Das Essen ist lecker, das Ambiente stimmt. Wer Lust hat auf einen leckeren Bürger, ausgefallene Pommes oder ein Cheesesteak, der ist hier gur aufgehoben. Auch das Tankbier von Pilsner Urquell ist zu empfehlen. Der Inhaber ist selbst oft vor Ort und kümmert sich im das Wohlbefinden der Gäste. Als wir gestern wieder mal vor Ort waren, hat er uns extra aufgrund der Wetterlage eine Zusatzheozung hingestellt. Insgesamt auch ein sehr umsichtiges und zuvorkommendes Team. Auf viele weitere Jahre.

This was my first time at Dieter Sanchez's. The food was incredibly delicious, the nachos were amazing, the Wizzi Burger was brutally tasty, and the "porno fries" with onions were a knockout. The draft beer was top-notch. The service was excellent, with great people skills and absolute expertise, at least when it comes to beer. And the owner could even speak Italian: Purtroppo tra il dire e il fare c'è di mezzo il mare. See you next time in Hamburg. Moin and Ciao.

Simple, straightforward, and absolutely delicious. We stumbled upon this place by chance and were greeted incredibly warmly and casually, as if we'd been regulars for years. Our dogs were no problem at all and were immediately given a large bowl of water. We started with the baked nacos and then enjoyed the Wizard and the truffle burger. So incredibly delicious 😋 We highly recommend it. And one thing's for sure, we'll be back! We were served by Hanna. Thanks, Hanna 🥳

It's a pretty solid place, and my burger was tasty, but it was a bit too expensive for me. There are plenty of cheaper options in Hamburg these days, all of which I've preferred so far, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely try one of the cheesesteaks. To sum it up, you can eat there, but you have to dig much deeper into your pockets. I'd give my truffle burger 3.5 out of 5. The fries were absolutely basic, nothing special at all. I won't be ordering them next time. Oh yeah, my beer was good, and I'd order that again. The atmosphere is pretty cool, it's just a shame they don't have such long opening hours. The bar area gives the impression that it could easily stay open until 2 a.m., especially with such delicious draft beer.

Super friendly and welcoming people, great burgers, and a fantastic cheesecake. The burger (cheeseburger) was incredibly delicious. The meat is top-notch, high-quality, and very well prepared. The sauce is one of the most important parts, and here it was more than perfect. The bread is also very good. The fries are fantastic, cooked just right and nice and crispy. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. The service is superb, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Home of crispy, boogy, cheesy, BIG love. Where else can you devour such a fantastic five-star snack without feeling guilty? It's only possible here, so I highly recommend stopping in and stocking up on a leggy cheesesteak and porn fries. Even though Dieter Sánchez is famous for his cheesesteaks, I have to promote his burgers. I had a double cheeseburger and absolutely loved it. The patty was cooked to perfection – a super juicy burger where everything perfectly blends together. Definitely give it a try!

There were three of us there and we were more than satisfied. Even a dog was allowed in the restaurant. Parking is right in front of the door and free of charge. The restrooms were in very good condition and, above all, very clean. We'll be back and thank you for over 10 years of consistently excellent food and service. 5 ⭐️

Everything is great, burgers are among the best, service is friendly and fast, and child-friendly. We come here almost every time we visit Hamburg. Since card payments were finally allowed a few years ago, it's been an undisputed 5-star experience.

The food was okay, the fries were very good. But at the end of the day, it was quite expensive for takeaway quality.

Selected burger creations, fries, nachos, and more. There are also one or two specialty beers. You can sit inside at small and large tables, and the same applies outside (although there it's right on the street). If you're looking for something tasty on the corner, you'll definitely find it at Dieter Sanchez.

It's quite far out, but the trip is definitely worth it. The best Philly cheese steak sandwich in Hamburg, and you can order it in many different variations! Very good meat, hot and fresh. The cheese is delicious, as it should be. A decent portion. Good fries with three different sauces. Add a Pilsner Urquell from the tank, and the meal is perfect. Service is friendly and quick.

Great food, you can eat your fill of very tasty items from the menu. The staff makes sure that everything is as it should be and will help you when needed in German and English. The atmosphere is unmistakable, you feel like you are in a classic movie bar in the USA on the highway.

I'd love to give the service 10 out of 5 stars, but unfortunately, Google doesn't allow that. My unusual special requests for fried eggs, due to my eating habits, were met with great care and humor. Starting in September, I'll also be enjoying the legendary cheesesteaks!

We always enjoy coming here. There's never anything to complain about; quite the opposite. It's always worth praising. We've always enjoyed all the dishes on the menu, including the seasonal specials, and the portions are generous. The meat is always well-seasoned, and the fries are always crispy. A definite recommendation!

The burgers are delicious. However, since the restaurant has been regularly raising their prices, it's simply too expensive. Over €18 for a burger without a side dish—who can afford that these days? You can definitely tell that the restaurant is getting less visitors as a result. That's a real shame.

Americans here, vouching for great burgers and Philly cheesesteaks (fries are ok). We were here in Hamburg for a few days. Went the first night and liked it so much, we canceled another dinner just to come back here. AND it was out of the way. Totally worth it. It’s like a diner, so expect nothing fancy. The staff are totally friendly, you can tell they have fun working there. Another HUGE plus they have Pilsner Urquell no more than 48hrs fresh straight from Czech Republic. Be sure to get a few of those!

I live in Langenhorn and am all for supporting local restaurants; Langenhorn isn't exactly the center of the world... but for the price they charge, I would expect a top-notch burger bun. For the third time in a row, this one has been very soft and flavorless. After just three bites, it completely fell apart. The buns used to be much better and served warm. The cheesesteak is very tasty and quite large... how about offering it as a half portion or as a kids' meal? Sweet potatoes would also be a good alternative to the regular fries (which were unfortunately too salty). The service was very friendly and attentive; the beer is good, and the decor is harmonious. I'm just worried that at some point it will become too expensive for the regular customers. Good meat is expensive, but at some point it will become a luxury, and that could become a problem in this area and in this neighborhood.

The best beer 🍺 in the world (tank beer) is served here! Plus, they have excellent food, like the amazing Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. All at fair prices with super friendly and efficient service. Cashless payments are accepted 👍🏻. Parking isn't easy, but I can always find a spot.

Der beste vegane Burger, den ich jeh gegessen habe. Als Bier gibt es Pilsner Urquell aus dem Tank mit natürlicher Kohlensäure, seeehr lecker. Und der Wirt ist ein super netter und sympathischer Typ. Einen Besuch kann man echt für die empfehlen, die Bar Food oder Burger brauchen. Es ist in der Gegend von Hamburg ein Highlight in einer nicht so an Gastro-Highlights reichen Ecke Hamburgs.

The portions are guaranteed not to be too small, the meat is super juicy, well seasoned, and the perfect amount of cheese. The service staff was friendly and attentive. Conclusion: If you want extremely tasty cheesesteaks, you should stop by Dieter Sanchez.

These days, it's borderline expensive for what you get. Beer glasses are always barely full, and portions are smaller than they were two years ago.
