This snack bar is the most poorly organized I've ever experienced. The staff completely lost track of who had ordered what. The reason was probably because there weren't enough pagers. They stopped taking orders for a long time. We waited 47 minutes for a portion of fries. No wonder the kids' spirits were at rock bottom! There was no cutlery left, so guests ate their salad with their fingers. Even after asking, there were no cutlery left for about 30 minutes. The ketchup was also "empty" and wasn't refilled for about an hour. Better bring something to eat with you. I've never experienced anything like this before! A complete catering failure!!!!! The fries were quite OK, by the way.

The food was quite good but way too overpriced: €7.70 for a currywurst without fries and €12.20 with fries (see picture).

I've eaten here several times and have always been satisfied; the salads, in particular, have always been plentiful and of high quality. This time, however, for €17, I got practically nothing but iceberg lettuce, some chicken, sauce, and potato wedges. There were only two tiny pieces of beetroot, and the white coleslaw and carrot salad were completely missing. For this price, I expect consistent quality. When I politely asked, the only response was that "there was enough." A small discount or a concession would have been more than appropriate for a regular customer. It's a shame—I won't be eating here again.

For a swimming pool kiosk, the Franke is, at first glance, really nicely designed. Unfortunately, on busy days (which is always the case at the Stadionbad as soon as it's warm), the organization is lacking, resulting in some chaos and requiring a 1.5-hour wait for a portion of fries. It's also particularly unfortunate that disposable tableware is provided... especially these days, options like recuperation/rebowl should be used. This also leaves a lot of trash lying around the kiosk, which greatly detracts from the well-maintained outdoor area.

**The Franke – The Pottery in Bambados** is simply terrific! The food is always excellent, and the constantly changing menu ensures plenty of variety. The staff is consistently friendly, which is not a given in a sauna area and a swimming pool. The atmosphere is great – there is always a good atmosphere here and the regular customers really get along. For me one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. I always enjoy coming back!

For us, a visit to the pool is simply a must, and dinner is a must. The dishes and some of the snacks are truly top-notch. The vegan and culture burgers are especially delicious. Keep it up!

The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations for a kiosk at an indoor swimming pool. As we left the pool, my son even received another ice cream as compensation because the ice cream he wanted was sold out. Simply fantastic!

Overpriced and tasteless. Not worth the money. 6 nuggets without fries €6.20. Portion of fries €4.50, mayo and ketchup each €0.50 extra. The Bambardosburger is also a run-of-the-mill burger, for €8.90.

The currywurst was cold and the salad was inedible and had aged. The fries were warm but tasteless. We returned the entire meal for fear of getting sick. The waitress didn't care, and apparently the chef didn't either. The atmosphere was good.

We were in the sauna again today, and the food is simply fantastic! The food in the sauna, in particular, can definitely compete with Bamberg's fine dining. The fresh salads and Thai curry, the vegan menu... simply amazing. Fresh, homemade, hand-crafted!

No run-of-the-mill swimming pool food! From changing daily specials to game meatballs, there is something for everyone. If it wasn't a swimming pool restaurant, it would be one of the best addresses in Bamberg! My recommendation: Wildthing.

Completely overpriced. Here the kids get their money taken out of their pockets for overpriced ice cream and fries. Wanted to be top-notch cuisine, but apparently it wasn't enough for a restaurant. Too bad...

What's the point of this website if you only realize at the entrance that it's a snack bar in a fun pool?

It is not a restaurant that can be visited, either in the swimming area or sauna or ordering at the counter and eating in the entrance area of ​​the pool...that is misleading...therefore not a recommendation as a restaurant

Wonderful cuisine, regional products, Franconian beer and always friendly service - the perfect icing on the cake when visiting the Bambado sauna area!

Der.franke, eine super Anlaufstelle für gutes Essen, in der Sauna, im bambados Schwimmbad und in Empfangsbereich des Bambados Bamberg. Super leckeres Essen für Groß und Klein, ausgewogene Küche, von der Currywurst über pommes bis hin zum sonntagsessen mit leckeren Fleisch und Fischgerichten. Lecker, super netter Service, regionales Bier, mit sehr großer Auswahl.

Gründe, die hier an 5 Sternen nicht vorbei führen: Freundlichkeit, erstklassige Gerichte bei hochwertigen Zutaten und ein top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Extrapunkte gibt es für das nachhaltig durchdachte Konzept!

Habe letzte Woche ganz spontan einen Vegöner am Maxplatz bestellt und war total begeistert. So frisch und lecker, dass ich am Nachmittag gleich noch meinen Freund hingeschleppt habe :-) Von mir auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne und wir kommen jetzt öfter 👍

Mega! Haben dort bestellt, hatten vegane Burger und Kumpir Balls. Beides war echt unfassbar gut! Geliefert mit Kräutern für die Fensterbank! Überragend!

Ich habe den.franken leider nur im Rahmen des Kiosk-Konzepts im Bambados erlebt. Aber ganz ehrlich: ich habe noch nie so einen geilen Schwimmbad-Kiosk erlebt. Das mag v.a. daran liegen, dass ich auf eine halbwegs ausgewogene Ernährung stehe und die 0815-Frittenbude nur so mittel finde. Besondere Pluspunkte: + Es gibt neben den Standards auch etwas gesundes, das gut schmeckt (der Vegöner ist top!!) + Sehr faire Flatrate-Tarife für Kaffee, Tee und Wasser + Die Qualität der Lebensmittel ist echt in Ordnung + Top-Bierauswahl (wenn man das mag). Das klingt vielleicht eher banal, aber ich habe das so noch nirgends gesehen. Der.Franke schlägt die Gastro z.B. bei Center Parcs um Längen! Und dabei ist das Bambados nur ein normales - wenn auch sehr tolles - Schwimmbad. Ich habe vor lauter Freude vor Ort auch gleich vollmundig angekündigt, dass ich eine Lobeshymne rezensieren werde, wofür ich sonst leider zu faul bin (ist auch schon wieder 8 Wochen her....). Also hier mein Urteil in klaren Worten: Einsame Spitze!!
