Except for the women's restroom, which was unfortunately dirty despite having opened shortly before. It seemed as if it hadn't been cleaned that day.

This is the best sushi bar in all of Germany! 🍣🇩🇪 Run by real Japanese – no imitation, just like in Tokyo! 🇯🇵 Super delicious, fair prices, excellent service. 😋👍 Everything is clean, there's a large parking lot, and it's easy to get there. 🚗🅿️ Highly recommended! 🌟👏

I was looking for a good sushi restaurant and wanted to try Misako. I've only ordered and picked up sushi so far, so I can't say what it's like to eat there, but it's really nicely decorated. The staff is friendly, and I've never had any problems with ordering or picking up. The prices are completely reasonable and justified in my opinion. The food is super delicious, there's plenty of sauce, and there's always a free salad. Since I'm not a big fish fan, they have sushi with chicken, which is great for me. I've been there several times now and can highly recommend it.

We ate there yesterday. We received a warm welcome, but things quickly changed. We were seated at an uncomfortable family table for two, despite there being free seats for two. However, we were only served after other people who had arrived after us. Prices are abnormally high; the water, which was advertised as 1 liter on the menu, was only served as a 0.75 liter. The main course of chicken, vegetables, and rice was also not a treat. The chicken sushi was completely cold, but the peanut sauce wasn't even that good. The food wasn't brought all at once, but rather in pieces, which I think is okay, but it should at least have been brought out at the same time as the food opposite. The free starter with sprouts, I assume, wasn't particularly okay either, but I'm not complaining about it. You can only pay after the staff has stood bored in the kitchen, looking around. You're not even asked if everything's okay; the staff is constantly waving at you. Overall, I found the Miasko Bamberg to be a terrible experience and would definitely not return.

For me, Misako is the best sushi restaurant in Bamberg. Almost everything here is perfect for me: - super friendly service - food arrives quickly - ample parking in front of the restaurant The noise level when the restaurant is full would be the only minor criticism. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. There's a reason why Misako is almost always full. If you're looking for excellent Japanese cuisine, Misako in Bamberg is the perfect place to go.

My family and I visited the interesting Misako restaurant. Our overall impression was positive, although there were a few things that disappointed me. The positives: The location is very convenient if you arrive by car—we found a parking space without any problems. The restaurant itself looks very nice—both inside and out. The interior and exterior are truly of a high standard. There's plenty of space both inside and outside, but I recommend reserving a table, as there are often many guests. I particularly liked the fact that you can watch the chefs prepare the food—this is very well done here. We had to wait a bit for our order, but that was understandable given the large number of guests. One small wish I had was for the server to briefly explain what exactly was being served as an appetizer (in our case, it was marinated wheat sprouts?). We were surprised, as we hadn't ordered this and weren't sure how to eat it. The food: The sushi and rolls were very well made and tasted excellent. The ramen, on the other hand, didn't quite convince me – the broth wasn't strong enough for my taste, even though the noodles were delicious. However, the amount of meat and fish was absolutely sufficient, and the portions were large enough. The prices are particularly positive, especially for the ramen. (Perhaps the price also explains why the broth was a bit too light for me.) One negative point: What was very disappointing, however, was that one of the ramen dishes was served in a bowl with a damaged and sharp edge (see photo). In my home country and also in Japan (since you position yourself as a Japanese restaurant), this is considered inappropriate and a sign of a lack of care. Conclusion: Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would gladly return to try other dishes from your menu. I wish your restaurant continued success and all the best!

Misako in Bamberg is an absolute must for me! 🎉 I've been coming here for a while now and I'm always impressed. The quality of the food is outstanding, everything is freshly prepared and tastes amazing. The sushi variations and hot dishes are a particular highlight. The team is always super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasantly modern and cozy. The value for money is also absolutely spot on. If you want to enjoy good Japanese food and sushi in Bamberg, you should definitely stop by Misako – it's worth it! 🍣✨

Found by chance via Google Maps. The food was of excellent quality; the service was very friendly, and they even replaced the outdoor table lamp because they thought the lighting was too dim. We were impressed by the quality of the tuna, and the chanterelle mushrooms on skewers were delicious. The sushi was beautifully presented, and the udon soup was hearty. The interior was trendy. We'd gladly return.

The food is truly top-notch. The staff seem extremely overworked, but they're trying their best to manage everything! The noise level is unbearable. Far too many people in one room. Three stars, though, because of the good food.

The food is okay. However, having to wait more than 90 minutes for your food is simply unreasonable.

Any easy to navigate menu with attentive and helpful staff. While visiting from America our local friends suggested this place to meet with their friends. It was easy to talk and hear each other during our visit. We enjoyed our selections, including the vegetarian in our group that appreciated the Lux (Salmon) plant based alternative to go with her other selections. There is an outdoor dinging area but it was closed this evening, possibly because of the falling temperatures. The only suggestion half the group had is that a window shade or tinting would make sunset dining a bit more enjoyable.

First-class food, just to my taste. The price is reasonable. Reservations are recommended. Review after 6 years: We used to go here regularly, but it's gotten too crowded for us. We waited around 30 minutes several times for a server to take our drinks. It's unfortunately not cozy for a cozy evening; the tables are too close together, there are too many people, and it takes too long to be served. Portions of food, for example, pasta, are significantly smaller than they were years ago. We don't come here as often anymore.

Overcrowded and stuffy, no room despite a reservation, not even a drink offered while waiting... Left after 15 minutes. There are better restaurants for a nice weekday evening.

The food is delicious. However, it's a disaster if you want to order vegan dishes. Even if the dishes are offered in vegan versions upon request, it doesn't work. It's a shame, because it's just exhausting.

A very good Japanese restaurant with high-quality ingredients. Unfortunately, several items on the menu weren't available because the chef forgot to order. There are a lot of waiters milling around, some of them a bit aimlessly. But all in all, a wonderful, delicious evening. Thank you.

Very nicely decorated, with outdoor seating and a nicely executed layout. The staff are very friendly, and the food is always delicious. The price is a bit high, but the food is exceptional, something you wouldn't just cook yourself.

Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. And I think the value for money is very good. The sushi mix was also really filling (one nigiri is missing from the photo, I was so greedy 🙈). The miso soup was mild and delicate.

They have super delicious sushi here ;) The atmosphere is very nice, the service is prompt. The appetizer came quickly, and a few minutes after it was eaten, the rest came too 👍🏼 These 5 sushi pieces were more than enough for 2 people. There were even some leftovers. They were wrapped, either free of charge in aluminum foil or for €1 in the classic sushi boxes. You could also give them away as they are; they're ct items, so there's no need to get rich off them. That was the only -point 😀😋

We like going to Misako; we really enjoy the food and are usually satisfied with the service. On Whitsun Sunday, we didn't like the service so much because after we received the menu, no one came for drinks or to take our food orders for ages. After the main course, we ordered dessert, and then suddenly no one came to pay or order more drinks. We ended up paying at the counter (and we weren't the only ones that evening who eventually got tired of waiting for service).

The starter had gone cold. The main course was good, but the rice was adapted to the German market. The mouthfeel here was rather run-of-the-mill. The taste and presentation of the dishes were excellent. The dessert was delicious. I felt the menu was missing something with the typical Japanese red bean paste. The place was quite busy, and we waited 45 minutes for our starter. The main course also took a while. Dessert too. The service was friendly. We paid €95. I think I can recommend this with a clear conscience. Unfortunately, it still won't be my favorite. It was good that we had a reservation.

As a guest, immediately after the main course plates have been cleared, you are asked to either order something else or leave because the table has already been "recommended" to other guests. I have never experienced anything like this in a restaurant before, and I never will – because I will neither recommend nor visit this restaurant. When I reserved the table, I was not informed that I was only "allowed" to stay for 1.5 hours. It's an embarrassing experience when you have friends with you who are visiting this restaurant for the first time and have to experience being told to leave after the main course (if no further orders are placed) because you only have 10 minutes left. That's not hospitality and not customer-oriented service. The waiter was friendly, which is why it gets one star – but the manager, Manh Tuong Doan, should rethink his strategy.

How lovely it is here at Misako Bamberg. The open kitchen and tasteful decor immediately make us feel at home. A very charming waiter served us very kindly, and we chose a mixed fish dish and the house recommendation. Both sushi dishes were finely prepared, absolutely fresh, and flavorfully filled. Very tasty, and it's also nice that you don't have to drown your dishes in soy to have flavor. The price is absolutely reasonable, and that's another reason why we'll be back soon!

Wie schön ist es hier im Misako Bamberg. Die offene Küche und die geschmackvolle Einrichtung lässt uns gleich wohl fühlen. Ein sehr charmanter Kellner betreute uns super nett und wir wählten eine Mixvariante mit Fisch und die Empfehlung des Hauses. Beide Sushi Gerichte waren fein gerichtet, absolut frisch und schmackhaft gefüllt. Sehr lecker und auch deswegen schön, dass man seine Gerichte nicht in Soja ertränken muss, um Geschmack zu haben. Der Preis ist absolut OK und auch deswegen kommen wir bald wieder!

Excellent food, friendly service. We go there regularly and have had almost the entire menu. So far there is nothing that I didn't like. Reservations are usually no problem, even at short notice. You won't have peace and quiet there as the store is almost always fully booked. But that's no reason for me to give less than 5 stars. The prices are also completely reasonable.

We had dinner this evening and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was very cozy and modern, with nice decoration and friendly service. The sushi was simply sensational! We ordered different varieties and were absolutely convinced by the quality and taste. Absolute recommendation! 5 stars!

Ich war mit Freunden hier essen und finde, das Restaurant täte gut daran,sich nur an Sushi zu halten. Wir haben nämlich kein Sushi gegessen. Deswegen kann ich nur die warmen Speisen bewerten. Geschmacklich war es mittelmäßig, sehr kleine Portionen, Reis war kalt und alles schwamm in einer fettigen Soße. Für diese Mini-Portionen wurde auch zuviel Geld verlangt. Es war zu 100% ein einmaliger beduch!

I had reserved a table in advance for the evening. We and about 20+ other people have to wait in the cold outside the restaurant. We waited for over half an hour, couldn't get in and the line didn't get any shorter. Why didn't these people tell us when we made the reservation that our time was fully booked? We went to another restaurant and got a table without any problem.

It used to be better. For 7.90 euros I got a normal mixed salad that only had very little dressing on it and wasn't tasty. The food was to be taken away, so unfortunately this was only discovered at home. The rest of the food (Thai curry and fried noodles) was also pretty bland, so you had to add more seasoning. That shouldn't be the case given the prices.

The food was great again! The service was a bit too talkative. But it's a matter of taste 😁 The ambience is nice. Unfortunately it is quite loud in the restaurant.

Sushi like in Japan in the heart of Bamberg. Misako is truly a culinary revelation every time. In our opinion, by far the most delicious and authentic sushi restaurant in Bamberg and the surrounding area. Every dish and every creation is incredibly tasty and well thought out, and beautifully presented. Whether bento box, wakame, seafood or Asian fusion cuisine. Every lover of Asian cuisine will have their hearts beat faster here. Great ambience, very good service and, given the top quality of the ingredients used, a fair price-performance ratio. An absolute recommendation and always the place to go when we are in Bamberg. Absolutely deserves 5 stars.

For me the best sushi restaurant in Bamberg! The staff is super attentive, the sushi is super fresh and imaginative, even as a large group (20 people) everything came at the same time and to every right person, we had a wonderful time. I look forward to every visit to Misako.

We called them on Saturday and were able to pick it up quickly. The service was very friendly, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the sushi was delicious. I can only recommend it again.

In short: MEGA!!!! You have to see the restaurant and enjoy the deliciously prepared dishes.

Even after the second visit, my enthusiasm is limited... The ambience was beautifully designed and people came to watch the chefs do their magic... unfortunately some of the staff seem clueless and overwhelmed... On both visits I didn't have my drink (2 different ones), the quality of the food was very good and the waiting time was also very pleasant. Unfortunately, sitting at the door isn't fun because coming and going is very annoying while eating.

We went here for dinner yesterday and loved it. The sushi tasted extremely good, the service was very friendly and the restaurant offers enough space for several people. Nicely decorated and doesn't have that "cheap" sushi around the corner look. The ambience promises what you eat. We liked the size. Spacious and high ceilings. We will come more often. The price of the food is justified.

No space for 2 people on a Monday afternoon, we were put out with others it was 15 degrees with wind. We asked several times but were always rejected. After more than an hour we got our food and separated. Actually, you serve it together. My husband's food came 10 minutes later. We wouldn't recommend it, it wasn't anything special and we had to constantly get up and ask because something was constantly being forgotten.

Super delicious! We have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend numbers 110, 7, 13 and 53/54! The location and atmosphere are both simply great.

The waiter got the order wrong. Clearly we ordered number 38, that is, ramen, and wrote everything down in notes. Bottom line, they bring us number 83, which means sushi, since the waiter didn’t hear correctly. The waiter did not admit that he had heard incorrectly.

Due to the repairs on the outside terrace, it looks very crowded inside but the outstanding food saves it. Personally, I am an Asian lover and Misako is one of the flagship restaurants when it comes to food. It wasn't the first time I was there and especially not the last time. But you have to know for yourself.
