We had reserved a table and requested a seat in the live music area. Initially, we were turned away, but after a brief discussion, we were finally seated there. Unfortunately, the evening got off to a difficult start: It took about 10 minutes before we were asked if we wanted a menu. After getting a good overview, we placed our menus on the table, closed, to indicate that we wanted to order. Nevertheless, no one came to us for about 25 minutes – even after we spoke directly to the waitress. She seemed overwhelmed, so we ultimately couldn't order anything. After a total of about 35 minutes of waiting, we got up and left without having had anything to eat. It was a real shame, as we had been looking forward to the evening, but the service was unfortunately a huge disappointment.

The only small hitch: parking is a bit tricky. There aren't many spaces nearby, so you have to search a bit or plan on a few minutes' walk. It's not the end of the world, but it's good to know if you're coming by car. The restaurant itself is a bit older and has certainly seen its best design days, but honestly, I didn't mind that at all. It has a certain charm and fits the cozy atmosphere. Sure, they could make it a bit more modern, but in the end, what matters more to me is how you're served and how the food tastes – and both were simply fantastic. All in all: Very satisfied, I'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant. I ordered a pizza through an online express delivery service. Unfortunately, pasta arrived instead of pizza. The restaurant took the time to sort it out via WhatsApp, and I really appreciated it. An error in the transmission of the information by the express delivery company caused the error... I ate here with my boyfriend, and we didn't get any bread for our starter, even though all the other guests had it on their tables. When we asked why we didn't get any bread, the only answer we got was that it was too much for us and we'd have to pay for it.

Faloodeh is a refreshing Persian dessert made from thin, translucent starch noodles served in a sweet rosewater syrup. It's especially popular on hot days and has a slightly tangy flavor when combined with a squeeze of lemon juice or a squeeze of lime.

The worst koobideh I've ever had. Not only did it look, but it also tasted nothing like real koobideh. It was pretty tasteless and lacking in spices!

About the food: The meat and tomatoes were supposed to be freshly grilled. Unfortunately, the meat was only lukewarm. The grilled tomato was black on one side, raw on the other, and also only lukewarm. About the service: I notified the waiter inside that I wanted to sit outside. It was registered, and then I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for the menu. The food arrived another 20 minutes later. If it had been hot, the 20-minute wait for the food wouldn't have been a problem, but if the food was lukewarm, it would have been. About the ambiance: The interior of the restaurant feels sterile and empty. The outdoor area is also nothing special. Overall: Meh.

It's really hard for me, but for us, it was a truly expensive disappointment. You sit in a kind of garden on a main street with a tram. Traffic noise is very present. Furthermore, we sat at three different tables, only to discover that all three had leftovers from previous diners. The starter was unpalatable for us... while it might have been tasty, a thin flatbread was far too small for four people... The main course arrived very, very late and only after we asked... The minced meat skewer was unfortunately very lamb-heavy! Despite asking... where I was told it was beef... All in all, I wish everyone the best, but for us personally, it was a culinary nightmare...

I ate koobideh here; the kebab was really tasty, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The food also looked really good. Before the meal, I was given free bread, herbs, and cheese; it was on the house, which I thought was really nice. Although everything was freshly prepared (not like in some places where everything is just warmed up), it was really quick; the food arrived after 15-20 minutes. I was extremely satisfied and can highly recommend the place! It definitely won't be my last visit.

The restaurant is a bit out of the way from the city center. It's not far, but it's very quiet and surrounded by lots of greenery. The staff is very friendly. The best part, though, is the food. We had two different steak plates. The steaks were very good (the meat and the preparation). The plate also included grilled vegetables, rosemary potatoes, and a creamy mushroom sauce. We occasionally go there on Saturday nights for live music. The atmosphere is great! The quality of the food isn't great, but it's okay, although the prices are comparatively high. Last Sunday we went there to eat "Dizi"! The homemade bread was delicious, but the Dizi was extremely greasy, so I wouldn't recommend it.

The kubideh was rusty yellow, the first time I have seen such a thing in my life, and it was all covered in fat. My roasted bean curd was tasteless and unsalted with a watery sauce. For two people, a double portion of 60 euros with this quality. The restaurant was empty, but the service did not rush to take orders. I gave the service three stars because they were really polite. The rest of the things are nothing.

Alles war liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich ein echtes Highlight. Auch die Portionen waren sehr großzügig – hier geht definitiv niemand hungrig nach Hause! Obwohl im Restaurant gerade eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft gefeiert hat, wurden wir unglaublich freundlich empfangen und sehr schnell bedient. Der Service war aufmerksam, herzlich und jederzeit mit einem Lächeln für uns da. Man spürt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Fazit: Ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das wir nicht so schnell vergessen werden! Toller Service, köstliches Essen und eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. We had dinner at Cuccini resturant tonight. They are the best Persian resturant in Düsseldorf and surroundings. Very extensive menu and very delicious and fresh dishes and very friendly staff and a nice terrace to sit outside and enjoy the delicious food and beautiful view at the same time. We went to Düsseldorf from another city for some business and an Iranian shop told us that they have a new restaurant and we can eat there but unfortunately it was very bad in our opinion I don't know what the meatball I ordered was made of. In any case, it didn't taste like meat at all and I wasn't feeling well for the next day because of that meatball The chicken my wife ordered was also very dry. I hope you see this as a Kritik and give some importance to quality.

Despite the late hour, we received a very friendly welcome at Cuccini, while many other restaurants had already closed or were no longer accepting customers. The Persian hospitality was immediately apparent, and the food was outstanding – authentic, prepared with love. The freshly baked, warm Iranian bread was a particular highlight! The menu is varied, and the staff is very attentive. One small suggestion for improvement: The cleanliness – especially in the restrooms – could be better, and the decor also seems a bit dated. Overall, though, a very pleasant visit – we would happily recommend the restaurant!

For someone who grew up with tahdig and kubideh, the visit to Cuccini was unfortunately a complete culinary disappointment that left a deep dent in the wallet. €65 for two chenje (pieces of lamb fillet), two soft drinks, and a maste khiar (yogurt/sour cream with cucumber) is no longer uncommon in Persian restaurants these days, but it's definitely too high for the quality offered. A note to the kitchen: If you serve tahdig (rice crust), it has to be perfect. It was either extremely hard and chewy (not crispy) or absolutely soggy and oily. The rice was also riddled with pieces of tahdig...sorry, but that's not how it works. You can certainly serve a piece of tahdig with the rice as a garnish, but here, in small tahdig-loving pots, they focus more on quantity than quality. As for the meat...far too dry for chenje. I could have ordered barg (thinly pounded fillet on a skewer) there, too. The service was very attentive and courteous, even though there were two large tables to serve and the lighting and music kept going out. The interior ambiance could be nicer and more inviting. The acoustics are rather poor due to the smooth ceiling.

Only to a limited extent. Service probably didn't want us to leave money for drinks. After a long wait, I had to go to the restaurant with an empty beer glass and ask for a refill. Sitting on the terrace.... Price performance was good for starters and drinks, but for the main course for €33 there was only a handful of fries, a chicken skewer with 5.6 pieces and a lamb skewer where the meat was so flattened, but were only 150-180g, if at all! 🫤 As a chef myself, unfortunately I wouldn't go there again, sorry🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Disappointing experience – beware of rip-offs! Unfortunately, our visit to Cuccini Düsseldorf was an absolute disappointment. We had purchased a Groupon in advance for a steak plate of our choice, but what we were offered was simply audacious. The waiter asked us if everyone would have a steak plate and decided on his own to order rump steak for the entire group - without giving us the choice that we were entitled to according to the voucher. Only after we complained did he reluctantly agree to change our order to fillet steak. But that was apparently just for show: in the end we were still served rump steak, without a note or an apology. This behavior clearly shows that there is a conscious attempt to deceive customers. Honest gastronomy looks different! Anyone who values ​​fair treatment and transparency should give this restaurant a wide berth.

Endlich, ab dem 01.03.2025 hat das Restaurant Cuccini einen vernünftigen Inhaber. Früher ging man nur ungern ins Cuccini, aber mit dem neuen Inhaber kann man nun gerne essen gehen und sich gut amüsieren – etwas, das früher oft nicht möglich war oder mit einer schlechten Behandlung einherging. Der ehemalige Inhaber war unfreundlich und sehr primitiv. Ich empfehle dem alten Inhaber, im Flohmarkt zu arbeiten, weil es ihm gut passt.
