I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. On weekends, they charge extra because of the bad music – completely overpriced! The food was poor quality and the portions were very small.

We went to the restaurant "1001 Nights" in Düsseldorf. Unfortunately, the staff treated us very rudely and disrespectfully. Without informing us, they gave us a more expensive menu – they offer two different menus with different prices. The bill was also higher. When we asked about it, the response was very unfriendly. One employee with short hair behaved particularly badly – ​​we really wonder where she learned to treat guests like that. We cannot recommend this restaurant under any circumstances.

We were invited to this Persian restaurant by friends. As soon as you walk in, you get this oriental touch. Cozy and beautiful. The music was soft and suited the atmosphere well. You immediately felt at home, like you were in another world. The service was super friendly. The staff were very attentive and always there when we needed them, but not intrusive. They explained everything well and gave us great tips. The food was the best! Everything was SUPER TASTY and exceeded our expectations. You could tell the chefs put a lot of heart into their cooking. Most importantly: Everything was fresh. The meat was tender, the vegetables were crisp, and all the spices tasted great. The portions were also large, no skimping, and they looked great. Compared to other Persian restaurants, this one provided my best experience ever. We ordered Chelo Kebab, Barg, and Joojeh, and they were excellent. One of the worst Baghali Polo dishes I've ever had. Probably the worst Iranian restaurant in Europe. The decor was outdated, the restroom was dark, and the food was disappointing. The bread was store-bought, the pickles tasted strongly of low-quality vinegar, and even the faludeh and bastani were just supermarket versions. The only thing that tasted decent was the Zeytoon Parvardeh (marinated olives). The portion of cheese in the appetizer was laughably small. In all my years living in Europe, 99% of the Iranian, Turkish, or Kurdish restaurant I’ve been to has offered complimentary tea with rock candy — even when the food wasn’t great. Here, the tea was low quality and cost €4.5, and they didn’t return the small change from my payment — not sure why. It seems they decided to take a tip without asking. Very disappointing experience overall.

We had a very pleasant evening at the Hezaro Yek Shab (Thousand and One Nights) restaurant. The Persian food was delicious and lovingly prepared, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. However, the music was a bit too loud for the small space, making it difficult to hold a conversation at times. Overall, though, a fantastic experience – we'd love to come back!

I ate alone. They advertised a special offer, but charged the full price when paying. When I asked, I was told I had to state in advance that I wanted the special meal – even though that's exactly what was advertised on the posters. Card payments are also not accepted. Food was really crappy. They should sell Shirazi salad per gram as they charge a lot of money for it and certainly not tasty. Bread was too old and certainly not from the same day. On the menu you are scammed by showing a photo much larger than it is and for a world price. Half of the menu could no longer be ordered and that on an early Tuesday evening 🥴, such as kabab, lamb and qurmasavzi. Despite all the disappointment, there was no pleasant atmosphere at all, the music was way too loud and we had to wait even longer for our food because something in the kitchen was broken🥱. Finished measuring the two and went home with a stomach ache, hygiene 0, but that is the same at every party tent.

We were there with our team at "Nouruz - the Persian New Year celebrations. Since we had to reschedule at very short notice with 25 people, we were very happy about the opportunity to spontaneously use several tables. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. Even though we asked for the appetizer to be served early, it took about 40 minutes for it, and finally the dinner was served very late for all the tables. Unfortunately, our food was cold. The amount of food was very small. The appearance of the plate was not interesting at all. The barbecue smelled. The leaf kebab was soft but had no taste. Traditional ice cream was only yellow. There was no smell of rose water and saffron. The music is tasteful and it is a bit difficult to comment. But at the end of the night, when the hall became quiet and the music was our own choice, it became a good atmosphere. Pure disappointment!! First of all, no space was kept free for the people we had reserved for, after we pointed this out to the owner, she tried to convince us that we had made a mistake with the number when making the reservation, even though we had everything in hand in a WhatsApp chat. After a discussion, she was content to add two chairs for us so that we could at least squeeze in. We paid €80 per person and therefore had a minimum consumption of €80 thanks to their New Year's Eve promotion. Everyone has ordered starters and the main course, and the starter also arrived, unfortunately without cutlery so we had to wait a while. We then waited 2 hours for our food and were brushed off every time we asked for it. Then the boss personally came to the table and told us that we should be patient because it was supposed to be the best shop in North Rhine-Westphalia and in a very condescending tone. We didn't want to spoil our New Year's Eve and simply replied that we hope the food tastes as promised. After 2 hours the food came and seriously it was just tasteless in my opinion, because it took so long to serve, one person left earlier and didn't even order anything to eat. Shortly afterwards, the staff came to us and pointed out that our budget had now been used up. Together we tried to come up with €1120 for 14 people and one person, but we couldn't figure it out. Of course we asked for a bill which we never received. Instead, they didn't want to discuss the bill any further and preferred to buy us a bottle. I'm telling you, that was the last evening in this restaurant.
