Things were much better before, everything was new, ordering wasn't easy anymore, placing orders face-to-face wasn't simple.

For over three decades, my partner and his friends have been ordering from your delivery service, but this time the food and the service were an absolute disgrace. We ordered online at 5:00 PM and wanted the food delivery (total order over €120) at 6:30 PM. At 5:30 PM, we received a call asking if it would be okay to have the food delivered at 5:45 PM, as the order was already ready. Since there are eight of us in total, and I couldn't and didn't want to decide for everyone, I asked for a moment's patience after explaining that it was rather inconvenient (not everyone had arrived yet, and the others weren't hungry yet). We were then told that orders were processed in the order they were received and that no attention had been paid to our request for a later delivery time. The order was simply ready and could now be delivered. ... After discussing it as a group and reluctantly agreeing so that the food, which was already prepared, wouldn't arrive completely cold, I informed the man on the phone of our decision. He reacted very disgruntledly, in my opinion. It seemed to me that I had taken too long to respond. As I already mentioned, I couldn't and didn't want to make this decision alone. It was a question, but apparently "no" wasn't an acceptable answer. The fault clearly wasn't ours, but it felt like he was trying to make us feel guilty. So we prepared ourselves for our food at 5:45. It became 6:00, then 10:00... and at 6:15, the doorbell rang. By then, we were already certain that this was intentional, because I hadn't reacted very enthusiastically on the phone. As expected, the food had gone completely cold by then. Conclusion of the meal: The bread on all eight croques was soggy and not crispy, the cheese was partially unmelted, one croque was missing tomatoes (we had specifically asked for them to be omitted, but two arrived without them), the teriyaki sauce was very sparse and only applied sporadically, unlike our usual experience (our last order was in November, which we were very satisfied with), and everything was cold. The cheeseburger, according to the diner, was tasty, but like the rest of the food, it was also completely cold. We requested a Fanta as a replacement for the free Coke in the order notes, and this was accepted. In summary, none of us enjoyed today's meal, and two of us found it very heavy. If I could, I would give it zero stars!!

⭐️ 1 Star – Absolute Disaster Delivery time stated as 40–55 minutes. After 1.5 hours, still no food. After calling to inquire, the unbelievable response: Our order was simply delivered somewhere else. No proactive response, no apology, no solution, nothing. This is no way to treat customers. If you're hungry and want to be able to rely on your food, definitely avoid Crazy Croque on Friedrich-Ebert-Damm.

It's unbelievable how bad the croques have become. I don't even bother with delivery anymore because the croques (whether with sauce on them or on the side) arrive so soggy, seemingly undercooked, soft, and cold. But having the same experience when picking them up from the store (I live 5 minutes away) is really frustrating. What's going so wrong? What's the cause?

We dined at your restaurant several times a week over an extended period. Unfortunately, we repeatedly had negative experiences. On several occasions, the meat, especially the turkey, was very dry or had an unusual taste. Once, I even vomited immediately after eating it. I then pointed out to one of your employees—an older gentleman with gray hair—that the affected turkey or sauce should be disposed of to prevent other guests from becoming ill. The bread was also occasionally very dry or underbaked, and some of the sauces tasted noticeably sour. Since I ate at your restaurant frequently, I was able to clearly observe these differences in quality and politely complained on the spot each time. One particularly unpleasant incident occurred when a female employee—she has long, blonde, slightly orange-tinged hair—apparently put hair in our croque, seemingly out of anger at our complaints. I even took photos of this incident. After this experience, we refrained from visiting your restaurant for a considerable time. On a later visit for takeout, however, we were served by the same employee who informed us that we were supposedly banned from the premises – on the grounds that we complained too often. But we only ever spoke up when something was genuinely wrong. The employee with the thin, long, blonde hair said this that day with a very unpleasant, arrogant grin. It seemed as if she was pleased to be able to inform us of the ban – almost as if it had made her day. She seemed genuinely proud of being able to exercise power in that moment. For us personally, though, this isn't a big problem. If we fancy a croque or another dish from you 🤣, we'll get it anyway – if necessary, by having someone order it for us. So, being banned isn't the end of the world for us!

The employee was friendly. The manager was also helpful and gave a customer a free coffee because it couldn't be ordered through the terminal. However, the food was truly awful. €30.30 for one 36cm large turkey with extra cheese and one 27cm regular sucuk. Both breads were completely soggy, like they weren't fully baked, and in some places even damp and mushy on the outside. The salad was partly brown, and the turkey looked dried out. The double cheese was no different from regular cheese; it was a waste of money. The quality really needs improvement, and judging by the recent reviews, this has apparently been happening more frequently for the past few months. It's a real shame; we used to come here often and enjoyed it.

The food is still very good. The staff is also very nice. Why am I only giving it one star? I eat in!! I have to pay a deposit for my drink!! But I can't get my deposit back!! "They can't pay out or offset the money." That borders on fraud. When the bottles are picked up from you, the deposit is credited to you. So your customers pay for it!! To some, that probably sounds very petty. It's not about the 15 cents per bottle. It's just that you haven't thought it through. One reason not to eat with you anymore.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly in recent orders. Both times, the food was very soggy and barely cooked, which was unconvincing in terms of taste and texture. Furthermore, the delivery was incorrect, with no apology or compensation offered. We visited Crazy Crouqe for the first time in a while. The food was excellent, as always. Unfortunately, after the redesign, the seating is a disaster for older people or those with physical disabilities, which I absolutely cannot understand in this day and age. Perhaps they should rethink this and improve it. The parking situation was also rather poor, as even their own delivery vehicles took up two parking spaces with one car.

I'm usually a big fan of the croque shop, but my last visit was unfortunately disappointing. I ordered two croques, but one was missing the patty. So I called them. The staff on the phone, however, responded to my complaint in a very casual and unprofessional manner, using expressions like "bro" and laughing about the situation instead of offering a sincere apology. As compensation, I was given a new croque, a Coke, and a sweet pastry. However, I had to drive there because no driver was available. I hope this was a one-time incident, because I actually really like the food there.

I'm only referring to the delivery. For many years, I usually ordered a croque as a single person. Unfortunately, that's no longer possible, as at least with Lieferando, the delivery fee has increased from €1.95 to €3.99! And the minimum order value is over €19. A croque, of course, costs much less! It was always delicious. But the conditions for delivery as a single person are outrageous. Therefore, I haven't ordered from them for a very long time.

The croque tastes good. Update July 2025. Meanwhile, Crazy Croque has declined rapidly. The topping is getting smaller and smaller (in my favorite croque, the Frikadelle), and the meat is now wafer-thin. And they're getting more and more expensive. And then there are these stupid ordering machines. You can't even add a double Frikadelle to a Frikadelle Croque. Instead, you get pressed ham and other things. Make some effort with the prices and stop this profit-making scheme, because the customer pays your salary.

Yesterday I was at Crazy Croque in Wandsbek for the last time. I had ordered my croque in advance as I had some work to do so all I had to do was pick it up. I don't know what was going on with the employee at the counter, maybe he wanted to be "funny", but I found his behavior to be cheeky and inappropriate. When I got home, I unfortunately discovered that my croque was completely soft - apparently no attention was paid to the pick-up time, it was apparently made straight after I ordered it. This used to be my favorite croque shop, the prices are constantly increasing - but I haven't experienced anything as bad as yesterday. I'll eat somewhere else in the future.

Ordered again after countless months because you thought "Maybe something has changed." Unfortunately once again very disappointed. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all. The croques are so thin when delivered that you can hardly taste them as “sliced”. Delivery was shown as 30 minutes. After 30 minutes it said "almost with you" and another 45 minutes later the order still hadn't arrived. Hot dog and currywurst, topped with the same sausage. The crepe for the child was completely forgotten.

I am extremely disappointed with the Crazy Croque. We waited over 1 1/2 hours for our food and then the delivery person called us and said he was 30 minutes late. It's now 10:37 p.m. and we still don't have anything to eat! This is especially frustrating on a Sunday evening when there are no other options to get something to eat. The service is absolutely inadequate and the organization is catastrophic. I will definitely not order from here again and advise anyone not to use this store.

I was just there and I was really shocked. Staff aren't even able to greet customers, private conversations are probably more important. We wanted to have the food to take away, but we had set it up incorrectly on the ordering terminal. Whenever we wanted to add something, they reacted unfriendly and wanted to start a discussion. I was there a few times at certain intervals and there was almost nothing going on in the store. This is probably due to the pricing policy, considering how much you have to pay for a croque or a crepe. The taste from before is still the same, but I feel like it's not as filling as it once was. Changing operation is not necessarily an advantage either. I would introduce special days, each croque €5. Everyone gets crepes for €2. But then you probably just calculate how much loss you make. Certainly we no longer live in the D-Mark era, where you paid around 7 D-Marks.

Today we went out to eat for the first time as a family and since my little daughter couldn't eat this place's bread, I bought her food somewhere else and asked her to eat with us. The woman who works here made this an issue and told us with a harsh attitude that no, no, this is not a restaurant. She was a conceited lady. I wonder what it is about us that they can't tolerate.

Delivery came quickly, had a croque gyros, meat was tough, the baguette was completely flabby, so the fact that you aren't even able to guarantee a quality standard that sets you apart from others at this price is really sad. I will go back to Currywurst Fries in the future because I know that I am getting a good price and can't have such high expectations of quality.

Lieferung dauerte 1 std und 30 min. Ein Anruf in dem Restaurant brachte mich keineswegs weiter im Gegenteil. Anstatt sich zu entschuldigen für die lange Warte Zeit nur ausreden. Der Fahrer war nett und höflich obwohl ich sehr genervt war. Das Essen war kalt.

Also für mich sind das die besten Crocs in Hamburg die man bekommen kann weißes bestellen wird telefonisch und dann hat man natürlich immer eine gewisse Wartezeit wo ich mir denke 30 Minuten sind okay aber wenn man auf 60 Minuten zu geht finde ich das natürlich nicht mehr so toll. Im Laden selber kann man natürlich auch sein Croque selbst abholen aber dort wird man auch das Öfteren eingeparkt von den Fahrern für crazy Croque was immer sehr unschön ist und freundlich sind die Jungs da natürlich nicht weil es gibt ja auch kein Trinkgeld auf dem Parkplatz.... Nachtrag 18.12.2023 Sie schmecken uns immer noch gut... Aber die Preise sind langsam ne Frechheit finden wir.. Das Croque Cheeseburger jetzt schon als Standard 14.60€ Hallo da lege ich 5 Euro drauf und kann essen gehen 🫡 Auch war mal die Rindfleisch Frikadelle so dick, daß es ne Mauelsperre gegeben hat...Jetzt ist sie maximal noch 1/3 Dann noch der Blödsinn nur noch am PC im Laden bestellen können und nur noch am Atuomaten bezahlen zu können....Wirklich schlimm dann lieber beim Mitbewerber ne Pizza Döner oder Hänchen mit Pommes ...

Waiting over 90 minutes for food is really bad. You can't reach anyone and they just direct you to another branch. Not very accommodating, and their response is that they can't do anything. They used to be really great!
