Coyote Café in Saarlouis

An hour wait for food and that despite reservations and hungry children. Starters only came when asked again. Late guests were served earlier. In between we thought the food wouldn't come at all. A lot of things came with the wrong dips and without the extras and toppings that were ordered. Service unfriendly, service not recognizable. It's a shame, overall it didn't fit at all.

The Coyote Café is always worth a visit. The menu is extensive and offers Mexican and American dishes. Last time we had the teriyaki chicken bowl and the house chili. Delicious. The employees are always very friendly.

Top restaurant, very nice people. Food tastes great and the price/performance ratio is also good. We would like to come more often now ;-)

From the food to the service and the ambience, everything is perfect. You get very large portions, which is why you would be happy to pay the price. I still highly recommend going here again

I was there today to have a cocktail. It was so poorly prepared that I couldn't drink it. It only tasted like water. I then told the waitress and immediately received a rude reply. They said they had tried the cocktail and there was nothing wrong with it. (Did they drink from my glass????) Simply a disgrace!!! RIP-OFF!!! Once and never again.

Have been to this lovely restaurant several times over the last few years. Always had a good meal there too. Today, however, the food was an absolute flop. The enchaladas and rice had obviously been prepared long ago, although the latter was probably at least a day old. The food had obviously been warmed, although the cook failed to do so; because it is far from warm as it should be. The waitress was told about the problem and promised to take this into account in the kitchen. Maybe the chef hasn't been or hasn't been working as such for that long.

Highly recommended 😀 It was our first time here and everything was perfect. Many thanks especially to the nice service and the kitchen.

The boss is lucky to have such a team here. The shop is full at lunchtime, 2 service staff and counter. No waiting time, great service, very good food, everything fresh and tasty.

We enjoyed a nice lunch break during our shopping day in Saarlouis. Service was quick & efficient, we did not have to wait very long for our dishes. Food was really good. Our waitress was very nice. Nothing to complain about.

Well, if you don't have too many demands, I can recommend this place. The background noise is quite high.

We were regular customers at this store for over 10 years. It was always a pleasure to go there. Unfortunately, since the change of ownership, the store is no longer the same. The map has been changed several times. The prices have become disproportionately expensive and the originally nice staff has been replaced. What a shame!

The Coyote has been in Saarlouis for ages. Here you can eat good American/Mexican food or just drink a delicious cocktail. Or both together. 😅 The food comes quickly, at the same time and in abundance. The steak was great! The service is always nice and courteous. It can get crowded and a little louder on weekends, but that's how it is everywhere in the old town. We have been coming for over 20 years and will continue to visit you.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. A huge menu. The cocktails are super delicious. We were overwhelmed by the portions, so of course we took the rest with us.

Despite the restaurant being full, the waiting time for food was really short. We had an absolutely delicious meal with the family. All dishes came to the table hot and at the same time. Service was great too.

We were there for dinner with four people. Our friends had burgers, I had the barbecue steak - very tasty. My wife had the salad with chicken, also very tasty. All in all a great restaurant with very good food. Great team, always happy.

The food is very good but the service was very long and it is quite difficult to have lunch in the dark.

Today we visited the Coyote Café in Saarlouis for the first time on a Saturday evening. Coyote was full of guests, it was really crowded and unfortunately very loud. If there are too many people in one place, it's no longer nice, it's too cramped, you don't have any space, and you can't have a conversation anymore. In my opinion, the tables were too small and could really be larger and more spaced from other tables... so you can have more privacy and have a better conversation. What bothered me the most personally was that there wasn't enough ventilation there, the smell of food etc. really bothered me - the smelly, heavy air... that was also the reason why we left earlier - the smell plus too many people cramped...(: the cocktails are great, the food wasn't bad either, large portions (: the toilets, well, a lot of things should be changed there. If I order cocktails for €10 (not just one) it should be in the ladies' toilet probably not of toilet paper lack, and the toilet seats shouldn't slip. Especially on the weekend... I might visit Coyote again in the summer (: because I really liked the cocktails (: and the service was very nice and friendly.

Very attentive and friendly staff. Since my daughter had very poor eyesight in the dark, my request for a table with more light was immediately accommodated, despite the almost full house. The food and cocktails were, as always, delicious.

Quite nice to spend a cozy evening with friends. Large selection of drinks and food. That has hardly changed in 20 years. However, more vegetarian dishes are available. The price is still okay!

The Coyote Café is a beautifully decorated restaurant and cocktail bar. It is located in the beautiful old town of Saarlouis and is very popular with bookings and visits. As a guest you can order dishes from US American and Mexican cuisine. Pasta dishes and salad variations are also offered. The staff is young, friendly and very committed, it's fun to be a guest. Conclusion: The Coyote Café is definitely worth a visit.

My favorite cafe for a little break. There is always a selection of delicious cakes. Rolls are freshly prepared upon request and there are delicious croissants. They have the best cappuccino there! Very friendly and competent service. I always like to come there.

A very tranquil and cozy restaurant with an attractive, predominantly Mexican menu and additional burgers and poke bowls. The service was very friendly, helpful and really on the ball. She earned her tip. The food was delicious and attractively prepared, the portions were really filling, even for men's stomachs. Only defect: Unfortunately, the delicious churros have disappeared from the menu since the new owners took over... the other dessert didn't appeal to us. Really a shame! We would be happy to see churros added to the menu again. Otherwise: Gladly again!

The food is delicious. Employees are prompt and friendly! I recommend it to everyone. It is also possible to sit outside. In cold weather, they turn on the heater.

We stopped by spontaneously on a Sunday afternoon. We also had our two small dogs with us. No problem at all. We were immediately assigned a free seat. We were able to look at the menu in peace at a comfortable table. The drinks came promptly and the service was great even though there were only two of the ladies. It was a bit dark there. We had coffee, beer 🍺 and a cocktail at the end 🍹, everything was wonderful. There was also water for the dogs. The food came quickly and was, as expected, delicious. The prices are okay. Gladly again.

After booking a week in advance, what was our surprise when we arrived there that our reservation had not been taken into account. No negotiation possible even though we had driven more than half an hour. A commercial gesture would have been gladly accepted. So, place to avoid!!

We had reserved a window seat. Despite my comment, I got a place in the middle. You could eat the food from the plate at the table next door. Absolute no-go for me. Mexican style food average but nothing special and not particularly tasty. The service was OK, but not particularly smart either. If the drink is empty you should ask if you want something new. It also took too long to clear the plates.

We were here with our dog today and made a reservation online. Called briefly and asked for a place in the corner. Everything worked great. We were served very friendly. The food was really great and we were served quickly. Great ambience, friendly service and really great food at a fair price make the restaurant really top. I would love to come back.

We went there for a drink early in the evening. The atmosphere at the bar is very pleasant. The entire staff is friendly and friendly. The only criticism and not the least, the cocktails are really too diluted. It’s a shame to serve an aperol spritz that doesn’t even have the color.

I've been here about 5 times. The Poutine and Quesadilla's here are amazing! Very friendly staff. I will definitely come back. Greetings from The Netherlands.

Definitely recommended. When there is a lot of activity, you have to wait a long time for your drinks. However, the food comes pretty quickly and tastes super delicious. The selection is also great.

Update Please match the prices on the menu with those in your system. It's easy to feel "cheered" when the bill is higher than expected just because there are two different prices. We have been regulars at Coyote for years and have always enjoyed coming. The food was always consistently good and well priced. Unfortunately, on our last visit we found that the prices had increased enormously, which is understandable, and unfortunately the happy hour on the weekend was also abolished and otherwise brought forward. It's a shame, in our opinion

Really overpriced after the change of ownership, €5 for a 0.4 soft drink is more than hefty when you take into account the purchase of goods. In general everything has been very broken since the change of ownership, which is a shame. I was always there 1-2 times a week, now definitely less often.
