A fantastic restaurant in a wonderful setting within the old fortifications, simply and stylishly furnished, thankfully without any Greek sirtaki music, very attentive service, delicious food, and a lovely wine list featuring Greek wines. And when children are dining with their parents and grandparents, all the staff have a smile on their faces... we'll definitely be back.

I've been a regular at Delphi for 25 years and we've never been disappointed! The owners and staff are always attentive and cheerful; it's a perfect example of what a good working environment should look like. The food is absolutely fantastic, hard to beat in terms of taste, and the portions are generous. I actually wanted to give it six stars, but unfortunately, only five are possible, and I'm awarding them wholeheartedly. Just let yourself be swept away by the ambiance and the delicious food...

Yesterday, we were at Delphi with a group of 16 people. The food was excellent, from appetizers to dessert, and the service was very friendly and attentive.

I'm sharing my very positive impression here. However, if you're really hungry, you shouldn't skip the appetizer.

A very nice restaurant in the casemates. Attentive service and excellent food. The Delphi has always been our first choice for business trips or leisure stays in the Saarlouis area, and this will not change. Advance reservations are recommended.

Good food, very friendly staff, and the typical Greek atmosphere definitely make this a recommended place. Of course, the obligatory ouzo is on the house at the end of the evening.

Perhaps my new benchmark for Greek cuisine in Saarland. Crispy gyros, juicy bifteki, truly outstanding souvlaki, and aromatic lamb chops; the Greek mocha at the end is perfect. Very attentive service. Located in a great location – and all this with such quality and very reasonable prices.

Very cozy atmosphere, very attentive staff. Simply a place to feel good!! That was 8 months ago!! Last night it was a place of horror. We came as a couple and had reserved a table by phone. The left side of the room looked like there was a private party. It was a party, but not a private party. We were seated in the same room as the party. It was so loud and uncomfortable, just awful!! Why don't they let you know when you make the reservation or seat other guests in another room? I found that pretty cheeky and impertinent. I'm really not sure if I'll go back to this restaurant. The food was very good, though. It makes me even more annoyed that I couldn't enjoy it.

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The only drawback: The price of the drinks. We had two 0.5l glasses of rosé wine by the glass, which cost €40 each. For that price, you could have ordered a bottle. With two bottles of water, the wine, and an espresso, it came to just over €60 without the food.

One of the best Greek restaurants I've ever visited. Excellent quality fresh food, extravagant flavors, lovingly prepared, and perfectly served by attentive and very friendly service. It was simply a pleasure to spend a culinary evening there with good friends. It was worth the trip, and the price. We'll definitely try to get a table there again on our next visit to Saarlouis.

A very nice restaurant, even outside. The food is delicious, but the prices are rather high, and the portions aren't for hungry men.

Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. The side salad was originally a large lettuce leaf. Here, the already small salad was made even smaller. A shame! The gyro was very thickly sliced ​​and tough. I returned it. But it was also deducted from the bill.

The terrace alone makes a very inviting impression. The atmosphere inside is also very pleasant, and you feel at home. I had an Apollonian plate (gyro, salad, tzatziki, and liver). Everything was excellent, and I especially praised the liver. The menu offers a good overview of the dishes and drinks. Hot and cold appetizers, fish, meat, etc. Highly recommended.

Attentive service, pleasant ambiance. The food was good, and the price/performance ratio was good: I find the €21.50 moussaka a bit excessive. The cost of the goods doesn't really justify the price. I'll still visit the restaurant again.

Great Greek restaurant in a historic setting.

The service seems very well-coordinated, authentic, and confident. The ambiance is very pleasant thanks to the fitting decor within the city walls, making it a perfect refuge, especially on hot summer days. The food is authentic and of high quality. The value for money is also right. We always enjoy going there!

RECOMMENDATION! Unfortunately, there are no half points, otherwise it would be a good 4.5 stars... The dishes lack a bit in terms of value for money and portion size to get 5 stars (it's a bit tight for some without a starter). However, when the weather is nice and you have a reserved table outside, the atmosphere is fantastic. The waiters are always on the ball and (no matter who you're with) you have fun and can even joke around. Great service and prompt serving and clearing - they always refill your glass and ask several times if everything is okay or if you want anything else... The atmosphere inside is also very pleasant... The menu could have a bit more choice, and the price does reflect the location... But it's ideal for a lovely evening.... KEEP IT UP!

We have now ordered pick-up from the Delphi restaurant twice - and every time it was a pleasure! Unfortunately there were no tables available on Easter Monday, but that didn't stop us from taking something tasty with us. The saganaki as a starter was great, and the baked gyros were simply delicious! You can tell that people cook with heart here. Next time we'll secure a place in good time - because we're really looking forward to eating there too!

One of the most beautiful restaurants Saarlouis has to offer, in our opinion. There are also many other nice restaurants in Saarlouis. 🤷 But the Delphi is our favorite Greek restaurant, so far always very good service as well as very courteous staff and the food is top notch 😃 Whether at lunch or in the evening, we always recommend good food and good wines.

We were lucky enough to spontaneously get a seat on the outdoor terrace on one of the first sunny days of the year. Even though we arrived relatively late at lunchtime, we received a very friendly welcome. For us, everything was right here, from the choice of food to the ambience. The food tastes very good, which, together with the location, fully justifies the slightly higher prices. The interior of the restaurant also offers a special flair with its rustic vaults and matching furnishings. If we are in Saarlouis again, we would be happy to come back

My wife and I were guests there for years. The food is simply great, clean and very tasty. The two brothers are super nice and friendly. If someone wants to eat in a great atmosphere, there is no way around Bastion 5 😘

The cornerstones are definitely worth a visit! We had reserved in advance, which turned out to be a good idea. Our table was in the next room, where the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The food was very good – everyone of us was thrilled. All in all, a successful Sunday lunch. We'd love to come back!

The ambience is nice. We didn't find the service very friendly and we can't understand the comments. Prices are high for portions that are very small. 12 euros for 3 grape leaves? Seriously? Baked gyros for 22 euros? It was no more meat than in a small kebab, and slightly gristly too... We won't be coming back.

It's not a star restaurant, but you can eat very well here. If you like Greek cuisine. There are minor restrictions due to local conditions (winter), but this reflects the popularity of the restaurant because of its good cuisine. I really enjoy eating here, as the menu offers a wide selection so you can vary your dishes very well.

Very nice atmosphere in the best location in the city. Top service, very accommodating, very friendly. The starter was perfect, the main course of lamb fillet with rosemary potatoes was a real culinary delight. Finally, the yogurt dessert with Amarena cherries was wonderful. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

So far so good, a little expensive, €14 for sheep's cheese is a little too high. What bothered us more was the table next door, not that we have anything against dogs, but they should sit under the table in the restaurant and not be fed from the table! Hygiene should already be guaranteed.

The Delphi was recommended as an insider tip by a native. What he didn't recommend was the day of the week. But I'm still giving it a great rating because Mr. Delphi put so much effort into everything. We also saw a rabbit nearby.

It was the first time - and let me say, the last time - that I ate in this restaurant with colleagues. The noise in the restaurant is like at the airport - but right next to the turbine of a plane taking off. The prices are high - but the portions are more like a starter. The service staff were friendly. However, when paying for 14 people with individual bills, they were hopelessly overwhelmed. The plus points were solely because of the good taste of the food.

I ate there as a group with my volunteer fire department (originally from BA-Wü). You can tell from the ambience and the location of the location that it is an upscale restaurant and you have to pay a few euros more than at a normal Greek tavern. The expectations were accordingly. However, these were all fulfilled. Food very tasty, service courteous. Despite there being a lot of guests, the food came quite quickly. Accordingly, a full 5 points. As far as I know, there are no other Greeks in Saarloius. So if you don't want to go out for fine dining, you should look for alternatives in Saarland.

Wow... What the German thinks is a "Greek meal" leaves me almost speechless... Here the very nice ambience belies the cheapest cuisine with frozen food and packet sauce. I'm actually horrified... My gratinated "gyros" didn't even know what roasted flavors were and was in a sauce made from tomato soup powder. Sorry, but if you've ever been lazy enough to mix up some ready-made soup, you'll like it IMMEDIATELY. Frying fries is no art either... if it had been served in an aluminum bowl, it would have matched the taste from the kebab around the corner with a maximum price of €5. Prices that make the taste-deluded public believe that there is something for the “better ones” and wow, how well that seems to work. The margin has to be amazing. Warm starter plate for 30 (!) € with 4x zucchini, 2x grape leaves, 2 frozen cheese wedges, 3 eggplants and a tzatziki dip....?! Humanity, what's wrong with you? Can you do anything with you? So never again for me, my friend was also horrified.... I would like to have coffee again because the atmosphere was nice and it costs almost the same everywhere anyway. I'm horrified at how much ambience can mask taste...

The restaurant is located inside part of the former city wall of Saarlouis. The ambience is really nostalgic/romantic thanks to the vaults. When the weather is nice you can also sit comfortably outside in front of the restaurant. The food was very good, maybe it could be a little more, but the main thing is that we enjoyed it very much. As a “greeting from the kitchen” there was always white bread and pickled olives and pepperoni. The meat was tender, fries and rice were also good, the side salad had a great dressing and the dessert was delicious too. ...Last but not least, there was an ouzo on the house (if you wanted). The service staff was also nice and accommodating!

Great Greek restaurant. However, although the staff were super friendly, there was a certain hecticness about them that somehow rubbed off on us. In my opinion, the gyros were very mixed, which is something I don't know or like. Last but not least, the food was a bit pricey for the quantity. I made 2 more cuts at home. Then it went.
