We had a lovely breakfast at COTIDIANO PROMENADEPLATZ. We tried the Avocado Toast Deluxe, which was very tasty, and the coffee was excellent as well. We did have to wait in line for a bit longer than expected, but overall, it was nice. I recommend this spot to anyone who has the time to wait.

Delicious food! Highly recommend this cafe for breakfast. Excellent menu choice. The Staff are wonderful so courteous and friendly! We will be back when we visit Munich again

There was a 30 minute wait at 11am on Sunday, but worth waiting. Food was tasty and fresh.

It is too bad a fabulous food experience was let down by a dirty bathroom, no toilet paper or hand towels. And when I mentioned it to the service staff at the bar on my way back to the table, I received no more than a grumpy!

The location is beautiful, but you are not seen there. They have to attract attention themselves to order or ask for something. We ordered two cocktails and some food. Cocktails seemed to be made with water, the bread was very dry and only served with some butter and the lentil salad was mediocre. Looks hip and chic but is not professional and way too expensive for what you get.

You need to wait around 1 hour to have your food. Joke.

Nothing incredible but overall perfectly correct. Many vegetarian options. Service a bit long but it was August that’s understandable

The order took too long, but the food was great although the eggs were not salted.

Food quality is nice but dont expect anything extraordinary since some times during peaks everything could get delayed from sitting in till ordering. But all in all is one go to places if you are nearby.

The food is very tasty, but expensive (18€ for a pasta) and the portions are small… you won't get full :(

The food was great, as was the atmosphere. The service was actually very good/great, but they were super busy. So the brunch/lunch dragged out way too long. They might have been understaffed both in service and the kitchen. Would we come back, yes the food was good. Hopefully they will have more staff helping the friendly ones they already have.

A bad experience by all standards. I will not repeat it. The food was normal and cold. I waited for more than 35 minutes for the food. Everything was delayed. I waited more than 15 minutes for the bill.

They have the audacity to charge for tap water

They don’t feel ashamed to charge for tap water and for refills. Good food, expensive water.

The food was reasonable, but the service was terrible. It took them a long time to collect the order and they forgot to tell us several times. It's worth the visit for the atmosphere and the food.

They didn’t sit us outside, citing that it was going to rain at the moment. Unfortunately, it was stuffy inside. We left hungry and dissatisfied.

I usually don't eat pancakes in cafes because they’re way too sweet. This pancake tower was just right. Belgian choc and cream, with strawberry and bananas was simply perfect. Filled up the two of us. On the weekend you have to wait in the line for at least half an hour if you have no reservations.

We went around 10 o'clock on a Sunday and entered after waiting for 2-3 tables. The food was delicious but we waited too long after ordering. The environment is stylish and clean but a little stuffy.

You will sit for 30 minutes waiting for your order to be taken. And everyone around sits and waits for a long time. The service is disgusting!

We waited 30 minutes to be seated at a table even though half the restaurant was empty. Very slow service, we waited 45 minutes for our dishes. Despite the nice setting and the passable food, the service spoiled our experience. Avoid!

Top breakfast location near Marienplatz! Easily accessible by public transport and on foot. The location is in a large courtyard, where you can sit outside, well protected from the sun, and enjoy a quiet breakfast. The selection here is quite large and reasonably priced. Only the table allocation doesn't always seem to work smoothly - we had to wait over 10 minutes until we were allocated a table for two, even though some tables were obviously free. Otherwise a great restaurant with good quality food. I can particularly recommend the American breakfast.

An hour wait... for an egg croissant, an avocado toast and two smoothies, all for 50 euros. Not worth the cost.

Waited 30 minutes yesterday to be seated. In the meantime, seats had already become available, but the service staff did not seat any waiting guests there even after 10 minutes. Since there are two queues (one on one side of the terrace and the other on the other side), even people who arrived later than us but waited on the other side were seated ahead of us. We then went somewhere else because I have never seen such an underground service anywhere. I can NOT recommend it!

Good but being Swiss the chocolate did not live up to my expectations.

Bad service with expensive food and very long waiting times. You can imagine having to queue for a free table on a Saturday afternoon. It's only brilliant if you can approach it from two sides. A long queue on one side and no people waiting on the other. Since you don't want to be rude, you wait in line. Unfortunately, others don't see it that way and line up on the side without a line. The ushers pay no attention here and serve both sides at the same time. Tip: show no consideration for others and work on the free side. Optimization for the restaurant: Only allow queuing from one side. After a good 45 minute wait you get your table. and then have to wait another 30 minutes to order. (Yes, it's your own fault because you could have left). After ordering you have to wait another 30 minutes for your food. Which is good but nothing special. While you're sitting at the table, no wait staff comes by and asks if everything is okay. You have to compete for attention to order and pay again. I won't come here again.

The porridge was delicious, and the place was cute. But we had to ask a few times to get the bills. It seemed like they were busy that they forgot! Other than that everyone was nice.

Delicious breakfast, many options, and great and fast service

Was looking for a nice place for brunch and found this one… absolutely terrible service with a 15+ minutes of waiting time to have a table, even though the place was not that full. Rude waitresses… two people in front of me just left because of rude communication. Food was okay, and quickly provided, but 18€ for a small bagel and 0.4 orange juice is absurd… The place itself is cute and not far from center.

A small, beautiful and somewhat hidden gastro pearl. I was here with a friend, Ulla, we both really liked it. We will definitely come back and then a detailed review will follow. In a nutshell: Elsäsch-style tarte flambée, delicious (the second best I've eaten so far). The pizza was very tasty and nice and big. Service: friendly and attentive, even though the Cotidiano was busy. Ambience: simply great.

Food was nice, love gardens to sit at. Service was absolutely horrific. Several times I asked to be served, waitresses actively avoiding me. I had to go in and ask a manager for service. Other customers being seated after us and served before us. Very embarrassing as a customer and poor from the restaurant.

Endlessly long queue despite empty tables. The food is good but this is a disaster

Many free tables but the guests who had been waiting for a long time were simply left standing. When asked, they said the kitchen had no capacity. There is a lot of room for improvement in the service here. The guests could have been seated with the information that the meal would take longer. Or offer a smaller menu. So everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to wait, just drink or move on straight away. We always think the food is very good.

Cocktails are really great, as is the service. The two star deduction is for the “vegan” food, the vegan option for various dishes is simply the vegetarian option without sauce...the food tastes accordingly, namely of nothing. When I asked if it would be possible to get a sauce, I was offered one, but it didn't go well with my meal. It's a shame, maybe they'll change that soon, then I'll be happy to come back!

Waited for my order more than one hour. When it arrived, turned out not to be what we asked for. Eggs were cooked with too much oil, overdone so the texture and flavour was killed, zero salt added. I give 2 stars as banana bread was fine.

We're mad! M We waited over an hour for the food. It was regularly said that it would only take 10 minutes. We were told that someone had broken down in the kitchen. But there are tons of waiters running around here who would definitely be able to help out in the kitchen. Instead, they chat behind the bar. But no criticism of them in general, because they otherwise did their job well and constantly apologized. If you don't have enough capacity in the kitchen, you shouldn't fill the place completely with guests or tell them straight away that it would take over an hour. Food was okay then. We complained to the boss himself, who also agreed. But treating customers with respect is something different

The place physically is very beautiful. And the dishes are very well served. Very good.

Matcha was too milky, even after asking for an extra shot and toilets smelled.

You don't have to order iced coffee here. The coffee tasted like water. There were lumps of ice in the vanilla ice cream...

Food is amazing, as all Cotidiano restaurants, and the ambiance is great. The waiters are a bit overwhelmed, but I understand since it's usually very full and many come by without reservation. Recommend for a night snack with friends!

A very good restaurant for peaceful dining on the terrace. The bowl was very good. The terrace is on the edge of a small park with a fountain, the service is fast and efficient.

The service was horrible, the waitress were so rude. They forgot to bring the ordered food. They didn't allowed to sit inside, even though it was starting raining. Only after when the rain started, when I asked second time, they let us in. So disappointed. Food was not really good!

In Munich, as you might be aware of, you can hardly find a cafe/restaurant operating on Sunday. Cotidiano is one of the cafes opening on Sunday. Unfortunately coffee wasnt good, food was in average especially after considering price-performance ratio, I am a bit frustrated. The staffs were very kind, but you are gonna be a bit forced to pay tips as when you pay with the card, you need to click on percentage of tips you prefer to. But if you want to have a brunch with your friend or to chill on Sunday, it is a very good option 👍

Very good food (I tried the Flammkuchen with Buffala & Truffel salsa). The seating outside with the sound of flowing water in the fountain is priceless (including the huge garden with flower). Unfortunately the service is quite undersized, so during the rush hours (lunch break) you re gonna wait.

One the absolute best meals I had in all of Europe. The high quality of ingredients and the obvious care in preparation are very evident. The coffees were expertly crafted and our service was top tier. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Love everything about this casual brunch spot. Pancakes, porridge, fruit- all excellent. The service was a top notch, friendly & efficient. Atmosphere very warm & pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Five of us came over in the evening and asked nicely if we could have a drink and play something while we were there. We were then “greeted” by the waiter with a stupid comment, then taken to the table and left standing at the table with an unfriendly comment, whereby the card was just thrown onto the table. But then we left because the situation was too unpleasant for us. In the 10 minutes we were there we weren't served anymore. Ambience is very nice, food was not worth it.

No placement by the staff despite enough free places; After the waiting guests entered independently, service only took place after repeated requests and with a very long waiting time. The brunch tasted good, the ambience was okay in the courtyard.

Stopped by here spontaneously for breakfast. Were warmly greeted at the door. Had a great breakfast with very accommodating staff. Absolute recommendation.

Excellent quiet place in the very center of Munich. Quiet courtyard with a fountain, a lot of mtolikoa outside and inside. Very friendly and cheerful waitresses. Large, beautiful, tasty portions. I recommend!

June 9th, city celebration in Munich, 3:40 p.m. It's a shame that the waiters refused to serve us as guests. We are short of staff and are closing immediately (i.e. in two hours…). Guests were sitting everywhere, but the waiters were tired of it. It's a shame, a shame, a shame, how easily you can scare away guests... I wonder what will happen when the European Championships start here in Munich in a few days….

The price-performance ratio is not right at all!!! A small slice of bread, completely soggy with diced tomatoes, with half a small (!) avocado and half a slice of smoked salmon (which was also forgotten and had to be reordered) for €15.90... The same with the second avocado bread. The additionally offered bacon for €2 consisted of 2(!) slices. Despite a prior express request, the staff were unable to brew the cup of tea for €4.50. Besides that, the water wasn't even hot. We were there for the first and last time!

For drinking is good but for breakfast I waited 40 minutes for someone eventually noticing me and get my order although I also asked three times for it, and 20 minutes for my order to get ready and it was not even good.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Kaufinger Strasse, you can get a seat very quickly, friendly staff, food is okay (neither bad nor exceptionally good). I was there twice in one day: in the morning the toilets were clean and odorless, in the evening you didn't have to ask for directions. The nose dictated the direction.

The food was definitely delicious and something different than the traditional restaurants that offer breakfast. However, the service was poor. Only after the payment and tip was the waitress nice. Next time it's best to say in advance that there will be a tip so that the service is good. Since I come from the catering industry myself, I gave her a tip, otherwise she wouldn't have gotten a cent from me.

Nice restaurant, nice outdoor space! The food was excellent, the spritz, very tasty! The toilets leave a lot to be desired, apart from the pungent smell, it wouldn't be a bad idea to use them every now and then! I was there at the very beginning, and just before I went home about 1.5 hours later, there was still the same dirt on the floor, and neither a sink nor a mirror nor anything else had been cleaned! That's a real shame and takes a big toll on the whole thing!

Nice ambient and well located. Easy to find in a really beautiful and relaxing inside "mini park". Staff was always attentive and smiling. Good coffee and really nice variety of choices (infusions, drinks...) Just tried one dish, a toast, and was really nice. I'll be there again for sure.

Absolutely atrocious service. The waitress couldn't be least bit concerned about service. Almost making a conscious effort to ignore us. Took close to 15 minutes to get attention to be able to order food. Had to ask 3 different waiters to get water for the table. Portion sizing small. Ordered the scrambled eggs and got two small bread cut off sizes of less than a palm size and some salad. Tried to get her attention again by raising my hand to ask for milk for tea and she gave growled at me across the room and gave me a death stare! It has now been 40 minutes and still waiting on a Ginger and orange tea. Never returning here. Be prepared to be treated like you do not matter and terrible service.

Perfect for a tasty and filling breakfast while on a layover in Munich. Despite a line of 20 people the waiting time was max 10 min - don’t get discouraged <3 AMAZING avocado toast deluxe, apart from that we tried Belgian waffle (small portion), pancake tower (good after the toast) and the American breakfast (also recommend). Best avocado toast in my life!

A fantastic lunch experience! The Cotidiano on Promenade Square is the perfect place for a delicious lunch break. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is simply fantastic. The diverse menu offers something for every taste. From fresh salads to hearty sandwiches, the quality of the food is first class. Highly recommended for an enjoyable lunch break!

Great service - finally! I'm often there at lunchtime because I work next door. I was very pleased with the really friendly and good service. Was different before. Now I'd much rather come! Keep it up.
