Rocca Riviera in München

Eines der Top Lokale in München , und auch eines meiner persönlichen Favoriten. Allerdings muss ich diesmal folgendes sagen.: der junge Mann, der uns bedient hat, war noch sehr jung, und deswegen mangelte es ihm wohl an Erfahrung nichts, desto trotz war er sehr freundlich. Ein Hauptgang inklusive Beilage wurde abgeräumt, obwohl offensichtlich zwei Drittel davon nicht gegessen wurden. Die Beilage wurde nur ein Löffel probiert. Die Vorspeise Parmaschinken war leider zu dick geschnitten diesmal und das haben wir dem Kellner auch artikuliert. Wir wünschen uns natürlich in einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse, das in einem solchen Fall, was die Hauptspeise betrifft zumindest gefragt wird, was daran nicht gestimmt hat, warum es nicht geschmeckt hat und wenn dann auch noch eine Anmerkung bezüglich einer Vorspeise kommt, würde man doch erwarten, dass man in irgendeiner Weise eine nette Geste in Form eines Desserts oder was auch immer halten würde ……. ansonsten top und wir werden trotzdem immer wiederkommen.

Leider sehr enttäuscht vom Essen. Alles TK Ware, auch der Hummer und die Jakobsmuscheln. Da kaut man wie auf Kaugummi drauf rum. Noch dazu fast gänzlich ohne Gewürz zubereitet, sehr fahder Geschmack. Die Austern waren schon älter, sehr klein und hauchdünn. Da war gar nichts dran. Hatten einen kleinen runden Bistrotisch bekommen, obwohl das Restaurant halb leer war und genug andere, größere Tische verfügbar waren. Die Etagere ist viel zu groß und zu hoch für den kleinen Tisch. Die Bedienung fragte beim Servieren des Hauptgerichts noch dazu, ob sie uns Salz und Pfeffer wegstellen kann, weil nicht genug Platz auf dem Tisch. Ich lach mich tot. Wofür hat man denn Salz und Pfeffer??? Und das Hauptgericht musste reichlich nachgewürzt werden. Die Bedienung hat ihren Job gemacht, aber auch nicht mehr. Ein freundliches Lächeln wäre mal nett gewesen. Aufgrunddessen wir den Hauptgang mangelnden Geschmacks reklamiert haben, wurde uns ein Dessert auf Kosten des Hauses nach dem Essen angeboten. Ambiente war schön, leider hatten wir Scherben unter dem Tisch und auch auf den Polstern. Haben wir mit der Speisekarte weggefegt. Alles in allem: wir kommen nicht wieder, bei jedem kleinen Italiener um die Ecke ißt man tausendmal besser, und noch dazu günstiger. Ist halt mal Wieder ein In-Lokal, sehen und gesehen werden, aber sonst auch nix…

Essen, Service und Ambiente sind echt ok. Der Preis ist wohl der Lage geschuldet. Für ein Landei ist München halt aufwendig.

Jederzeit wieder … nicht billig aber außergewöhnlich gut …

Ich habe hier speziell wegen der gemütlichen Atmosphäre reserviert und ich hatte Recht. Wir haben unseren Abend sehr genossen. Das Personal war nett und freundlich und das Essen wurde sehr schnell serviert. Die spicy Rigatoni hätten etwas schärfer sein können, sie schmeckten nur nach Paprika. Der Rest war sehr gut.

Während der Service vor 2 Jahren noch top war, hat es sich Bei unserem gestrigen Besuch stark verschlechtert. Die Bedienung schien sehr kühl und distanziert und hat sich nach Ankunft einer großen Gruppe nicht mehr um uns gekümmert. Geschmacklich war das Essen ok aber bei der Preisklasse kann man mehr erwarten. Wir wurden an einen kleinen bartisch platziert obwohl wir weit im Voraus gebucht haben. Für ein besonderes Abendessen ein no go. Highlight an dem Abend: Pornstar Spritz.

Leider war der Hummer und die Meeresfrüchte in der Tajine sehr überkocht. Das Gemüse war angebrannt...die Vorspeisen waren hingegen gut.

Wir waren zu einem Geburtstags-Lunch da. Das Ambiente und die Einrichtung ist wirklich sehr nett, geschmackvoll und modern. Auch der Service war nett. Nicht besonders aufmerksam fand ich, dass ich den Anlass Geburtstag bei der Buchung angegeben hatte, aber das einfach übergangen wurde, kein Glückwunsch, nichts. Außerdem war das Essen okay, aber nicht besonders. Die Spicy Rigatoni waren richtig fad und das Business Lunch 08/15. Hier stimmt einfach das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht, denn die aufgerufenen Preise sind nicht gerade moderat, v.a. die Getränkepreise nicht.

Das Essen war lecker. Tolles Ambiente. Leider war die Bedienung (Dame die für unseren Tisch zuständig war) unfreundlich. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst.

Waren am Samstag Abend den 24.01.2026 dort. Stylisches Restaurant mit guter Musik. Hatten zu zweit einen vierer Tisch neben dem DJ. Essen und Cocktails eher fad… Respektloser Kellner der meinte sobald ich auf die Toilette ging meine Frau anmachen zu müssen (Italiener halt… 🙄)

Zum Geburtstag wollte ich unbedingt wieder in die Rocca Riviera gehen. Der Tisch war am 2. Stock, wunderbar gemütlich. Die Bedingung war leider sehr unfreundlich. Bei anderen Tischen waren die Kellnerinnen deutlich netter. Das Essen und die Getränke waren super. Das Restaurant finde ich weiterhin super, aber würde auf keinen Fall wieder so bedient werden.

The ambiance, the welcome, and the vitello tonnato are the reasons I might return and give the restaurant a second chance. We were greeted very warmly and professionally and shown to our table with a small menu. The ambiance and lighting are fantastic, and a DJ created the perfect atmosphere. The clientele is quite a sight. Unfortunately, the service at our table, while friendly, was very inattentive. After we were seated with our initial menu, it took a very long time before someone came to take our order and bring us the actual food menu. After the aperitif, we would certainly have ordered one or two more drinks. However, we didn't have the opportunity to order, and the waitress didn't ask. So our empty glasses sat there for an hour, leaving us with only the €9.50 sparkling water to drink. The food was a mixed bag. Vitello tonnato and tiramisu: 9/10, the main courses: duck ravioli 7/10 and truffle pasta 6/10 The small round table where we sat was unfortunately very wobbly, which was so annoying that we had to prop it up ourselves with some paper.

Der Service war mittelmäßig., ebenso das Essen. Das Vitello Tonnato bestand aus einem Berg von Fleisch, sah aus wie ein Teller voller Nudeln, überschüttet mit einer Sauce. Sehr Mangelhaft. Die Musik viel zu laut, man musste sich fast anschreien in der Unterhaltung oder schweigen. Mag sein, dass es im Moment ein In- Restaurant ist, aber wegen des Essens muss man nicht hingehen. Schade.

If you want to travel to Dubai, but don’t feel like taking the jet, I suggest you check out Rocco Riviera. The place seems to have been teleported from that neck of the woods, and you won’t find too many of your usual München “bourgeois” scene here. It’s… a different vibe. A bit like a Mercedes AMG with some aftermarket parts. Food is excellent, and the portions enormous.

Gerne, Madame Sevinc — hier eine kürzere, klare und dennoch höfliche Version: ⸻ Bewertung Das Restaurant bietet ein tolles Ambiente und eine ansprechende Karte, jedoch lief unser Besuch leider überhaupt nicht rund. Trotz einer Reservierung um 21:00 Uhr wurden wir erst gegen 21:20 Uhr bedient. Der Kellner setzte uns sofort unter Zeitdruck, da die Küche angeblich in zehn Minuten schließen würde. Mein Wunsch nach einem Château Briand wurde abgelehnt, obwohl stattdessen ein 300-g-Rinderfilet problemlos möglich war – was wenig nachvollziehbar war. Als das Filet geschnitten werden sollte, erwarteten wir schöne Scheiben, erhielten jedoch Fleischstücke, die eher an Gulasch erinnerten. Der Kellner war zwar höflich bemüht, aber es fehlte deutlich an Professionalität. Sehr schade, denn das Restaurant hätte durch Atmosphäre und Karte eigentlich viel Potenzial.

Schade, dass man diesen Ort nicht mehr zu einem festlichen Restaurant macht – mit gedämpftem Licht, präsenterer Musik und einer besseren Organisation der Platzverteilung, damit es unten voller wirkt. Außerdem ist es überraschend, dass der Kellner an einem Donnerstagabend um 21:30 Uhr kam und uns aufforderte, die Dessertbestellung aufzugeben, weil die Küche schließe... Schade, dass das Konzept eines festlichen Restaurants nicht weiter ausgearbeitet wird.

Wir hatten leider eine Verspätung von 30 min und wurden trotzdem sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich empfangen. Wir konnten noch einen Tisch bekommen, obgleich das Restaurant schon ausgebucht war. Der Service war sehr freundlich und professionell und das Essen hervorragend. Herzlichen Dank dafür! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Hello, very stylish place, but it was a bit too dark for us on the upper floor. The reception was very friendly. The service was very attentive, quick, and friendly. The drinks are incredibly delicious. For starters, we had one burrata and one vitelo, which were tasty. For our main courses, we had one slice of lamb and one Wagyu beef from the daily specials menu. The food tasted good, but it needed to be hotter! Lukewarm food isn't really our thing. The dessert was the best part of the evening: one cheesecake and one Cup Denmark. All in all, it was a delicious evening, but it could definitely be even better.

Es war ein sehr gelungener Abend, wenn auch gleich ein Zewa Papier aus dem Salat kam .

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio at Rocca Riviera is not satisfactory. However, the service was very competent and friendly. Oil and bread are offered to every guest as a welcome gift, without any indication that they are not included in the price. This is annoying, as it simply takes the decision out of the guest's hands – what if you don't want to eat them but still have to pay? Additionally, a one-euro donation was added to the bill without any prior notice, which I also find very discouraging. Such opaque practices significantly detract from the overall impression.

Excellent service, from the reservation and reception to the cloakroom and table service. A delight for both lunch and dinner.

It was our first time there, and the ambiance, the surroundings, and even the clientele (surprisingly) were upscale. Unfortunately, this restaurant demonstrates once again how media hype has led to absolute over-the-top reviews. Our conclusion – incredibly disappointing. The food (we had three courses, including burrata, a Wagyu burger, and various pasta dishes) was truly mediocre at best. Culinary and flavor-wise, it lacked any finesse; it simply tasted very bland and in no way sophisticated. The burger bun was limp, the fries looked like they came straight from the freezer, and the meat was very bland – okay, one could argue that they wanted the Wagyu to be the star. But this was a recurring theme throughout all the dishes… We didn't even finish our meals. The waiter asked if everything was alright – I said no and told him that it unfortunately fell far short of the restaurant's reputation. He said he would pass it on immediately. Well, what can I say? No one ever contacted us again. The burgers were so bland that we didn't get a word in edgewise. I think everyone knows how unpleasant it is to complain about the food as a guest. But to then receive absolutely no feedback is downright outrageous. We won't be going there again and can only strongly advise against it.

Es war unser erster Besuch im Rocca Riviera und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Ein schönes Ambiente, mit einer coolen Bar als Eyecatcher. Die Dame im Service war sehr, sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Das Essen war perfekt. Speziell der Hauptgang, das Steinbutt Filet, war ausgezeichnet und von der Portion überraschend groß. Natürlich hat das alles seinen Preis, aber die Leistung stimmt. Wir waren nicht das letzte mal im Rocca Riviera.

Very disappointing. The staff were extremely rude, their tone completely inappropriate. As a guest, you definitely don't feel welcome. Not recommended!

The staff completely ruined the experience… My friends and I had reserved a table and were hoping for a pleasant evening. After placing our order, the waitress rudely asked us to leave the table and sit at the bar, claiming we hadn't ordered any food – even though we had definitely ordered snacks. Subsequently, our previously occupied table remained empty. The male waiters rudely pushed female guests aside. Furthermore, one waiter insisted that we all pay our bill on a single receipt. Since when does the staff decide how the guest pays their bill? It's a very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, but the staff's behavior alone makes us completely unwilling to return. If a restaurant of this caliber boasts a Michelin star, it should take care of its guests – after all, they are the ones who generate revenue.

A really cool place with a great atmosphere! The service was super friendly, and the DJ created just the right mood. The cocktails to start were the perfect opener and kicked off the evening ideally. The food selection is outstanding. The beef tartare as a starter was fantastic – delicious and beautifully presented. Then there was the Dover sole for two with broccolini and mashed potatoes – an exciting and very successful combination. The wine selection is also absolutely impressive. Overall, a really great place! Great food, good drinks, fantastic atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Das Essen war grundsätzlich gut, allerdings war der Hauptgang meiner Begleitung leider kalt. Nach Reklamation haben wir zwar problemlos Ersatz (Pasta) bekommen, was positiv war. UPDATE: Several years after writing my 3-star review, I received an email stating that the restaurant had filed a complaint against my review. If this restaurant intends to remove more critical (but honest and objective) reviews in this way, thus creating a rosy picture of actual customer opinions, instead of working on its own quality, it should at least be read here. So here's my original review again, now corrected to 1 star because of this approach: The food was very good, but the service was really poor for this price range: There was no friendliness, the second person's drink took 15 minutes longer than the first (despite explicitly asking for a while), and there was no thank you or goodbye on the way out, etc. Prices were noticeably "high" and only a few of the items were truly commensurate with the quality (e.g., €9 for a bottle of sparkling water or €18 for a mediocre small cocktail). All in all, despite the good food, I wouldn't go there again - at €120 for two people, you can rightly expect a much better overall experience.

Tolles Ambiente, was einen Besuch auf jeden Fall wert ist. Das Essen ist "gut", die Preise im Verhältnis dazu saftig. Man zahlt halt für die Location, was letztlich auch ok ist. Die Bedienung erschien professionell, aber etwas kühl. Das Publikum naja, München in Reinstform halt.

The Rocca Riviera is a stylish Italian restaurant where you can eat very well. We started with lobster spaghetti with foam, followed by salmon fillet and sea bass with fried sweet potatoes. For dessert, we had lemon sorbet with champagne and fruit. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented.

Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm. This was communicated, and a simple "Sorry" was all that was needed. The waitress who served us wasn't particularly friendly either. The ambiance is great. But the value for money is definitely not right here.

Uns wurde eine Rechnung präsentiert, anstelle von 1kg Chateaubriand für 4 Personen wurden uns 4 kg verrechnet - und es wurde nur 1 kg bestellt und auch an de Tisch gebracht- die Bedienung Kerstin war komplett überfordert - schon bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung - wir fühlten uns betrogen - unterirdisch- nie wieder !!

The food is now just average for the prices. Steak (Chateaubriand) more well-done than medium. Pasta too al dente. Well, you don't need it anymore. Wine prices are at €12-15 per 0.1 for a standard Chardonnay, which is way over the top, even for Munich. More like over the top 😉 So, chic, yes, nice, yes, but no longer on my go-to places.

Maybe it was all the rave in the past, but this place is now definitely resting on its laurels. Location and view is suberb, but service and food were very mediocre (I am not that picky normally). When seating us we weren't asked whether the (tiny) table right by the entrance and in front of some other people was OK for us as a couple (it was not and luckily we were re-seated). We had a Wagyu burger (I hat to say it, but I prefer the fare at most burger chains), a ceasar salad (lettuce with lots of brown spots in huge leaves, plus some of the romaine lettuce stems, and a dressing that did not resemble a ceasar's at all), as well as a Tuna Tataki (weird combination of Japanese sashimi and Italian tomato and capers sauce). Despite loads of staff on site, our waiter made us wait every time we needed her attention. She treated us rather rude and all in all made the impression she didn't like her job. The crowd was smug and showy, obviously not a place where many academics hang out. We won't be back.

Delicious food and great service

Leider weit entfernt von einem gutem Restaurant. Essen allerhöchstens unterer Durchschnitt, mein Burger (medium bestellt), war schon mehr als durch und der Käse offensichtlich vom Salamander verbrannt. Huhn meiner Frau war auch nicht viel besser.

A lot of money for little in return. Food prepared with care, lacking in flavor, emotionless service, and exorbitant prices. You'd expect a lot more for that. This will be my first and last visit.

There were seven of us – a girls' night at the Rocca Rivera in Munich – and unfortunately, we were disappointed. The service was uncoordinated and rushed from the start. While we were still busy with the appetizer, with food still on our plates, the waitress was already there to clear the table and get the main course. No time to breathe or enjoy. After the appetizer, we briefly went outside for some fresh air. When we returned, the cutlery for the main course was already on the table – but carelessly "thrown there." There was nothing nicely set up, as you would expect from a restaurant in this price range. My friend asked if her dish was spicy (she really can't stand spicy food), to which the waitress simply said she could ask the next table. No help, no advice – simply brushed off. Another waiter later brought a burger and had to walk around our long table once, rolling his eyes in annoyance. This also fit the picture: unfriendly, stressed, not very customer-oriented. At the end, I asked for the bill – it was placed on the table without comment, without eye contact or any question. It was clearly expected that we simply pay everything together with a card. The fact that no one volunteered to split the bill was disappointing for a restaurant in this price range. Our total bill was €520. And with that amount, you simply expect a completely different level of service – friendly, attentive, professional. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. The food was okay, but nothing special in terms of taste – you can get better quality and, above all, a better overall experience for less money elsewhere. It was a shame about the evening – we didn't feel welcome and unfortunately wouldn't recommend the Rocca Rivera.

Wir haben das Essen in vollen Zügen genossen – die mediterranen Aromen, die frische Zubereitung und die geschmackvolle Präsentation haben uns begeistert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das fein abgestimmte Menü, den aufmerksamen Service und das stilvolle Ambiente, das den Aufenthalt zu einem echten Genusserlebnis gemacht hat. Es ist spürbar, mit wie viel Liebe zum Detail hier gearbeitet wird – sowohl in der Küche als auch im Gästekontakt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

The ambiance at Rocco Riviera is truly impressive – you feel like you're on the Côte d'Azur in the heart of Munich. The food was of a very high standard, and the wine list leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we had to wait a full 90 minutes for our food – this significantly dampened our anticipation. The staff tried hard, but at times seemed overwhelmed and not always attentive. For the price range, I would have expected a smoother operation. It's a shame, because the food and selection are top-notch, but the service urgently needs to improve to improve the overall experience.

Rocca Riviera was an absolute highlight! The food was delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, capturing the best of Mediterranean cuisine. What made the experience truly special was the terrace: it felt like sitting in a sun-drenched piazza somewhere along the Mediterranean coast. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant – the perfect setting for a warm summer day. A wonderful place to unwind, enjoy great food, and soak in a bit of southern flair right in Munich. Highly recommended!

We had the large seafood extravaganza platter for two. The selection was good, but the lobster and scampi weren't hot and went cold very quickly. The mushy crab didn't impress us in terms of flavor. The lobster was a bit dry and could have used more seasoning. The oysters, on the other hand, were very good. The platter was perfectly large for two people. The bread and oil were automatically placed on the table at the beginning and were charged at €2.50 per person. The service was unfortunately unsatisfactory. One would expect more competent advice in a restaurant of this kind. The waitresses weren't very knowledgeable and were at times a bit clumsy and not particularly accommodating or friendly. All in all, we had hoped for a bit more for the price category.

Wir hatten die große Seafood-Extravaganza-Platte für zwei Personen. Die Auswahl war gut, allerdings waren der Hummer und die Scampi nicht heiß und wurden sehr schnell kalt. Die Taschenkrabbe hat uns geschmacklich nicht überzeugt. Der Hummer war etwas trocken und hätte mehr Würze vertragen können. Die Austern hingegen waren sehr gut. Die Platte reicht für zwei Personen vollkommen aus. Das Brot mit Öl wurde zu Beginn automatisch auf den Tisch gestellt und mit 2,50 € pro Person berechnet. Der Service war leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Die Beratungskompetenz hätte man in einem Restaurant dieser Kategorie höher erwartet. Die Bedienung war nicht besonders gut informiert, wirkte teilweise etwas unbeholfen und war nicht übermäßig zuvorkommend oder freundlich. Für die Preiskategorie hätten wir uns insgesamt etwas mehr erhofft.

They took a long time to bring the menu. At first, they only brought the cocktail list and didn’t offer the wine list at all. None of the waiters knew the WiFi password. They brought out a snack (which was later added to the bill, although it looked like a complimentary appetizer). We waited an hour for the main menu. The steak was served rare, even though we only eat well-done — and no one asked us in advance about the preferred option . The truffle fries… were just laughable: overcooked packaged fries with some strange seasoning on top and dry truffle shavings. Definitely not what you’d expect for 18 euros. To top it off, it was my birthday — which had been mentioned both during the table reservation and directly to the hostess. She did nothing and completely ignored it. After each course, the cutlery was placed directly on the table without any proper setting. There were many more moments that ruined the evening. A complete disappointment. I had a much better opinion of this place. In a place where the bill for two exceeds 130 euros, the service, hospitality, and quality should be at the highest level — which was definitely not the case here.

One of the most beautiful restaurants in Munich, in the French Riviera style. The staff is super friendly. The food has unfortunately declined somewhat, but it's always recommended. Reservations are recommended in the evenings.

Nice, stylish place. The food is good, but nothing extraordinary: the presentation is better than the taste. For me it gives the vibe of easy ordinary dishes made fancy through presentation, like many of the steak houses in Munich. The wine was very good, but 10€ for 0,1 is a bit steep. Cover charges (for ex bread) were added to the bill. All in all an ok place for a business meeting, nothing for gourmets. It feels managed by a business person more than a gastronomer.

We arrived spontaneously quite early in the evening and received a very friendly welcome. We were given a table on the first floor. The service was very attentive, and the food came quickly and neatly. It was nice that they also serve fries. The food was really very good. I just found the prices a bit excessive. However, the atmosphere is really nice. The music wasn't too loud.

Excellent quality of food, only the dessert didn't suit my personal taste and the tart dough was quite hard. Service attentive, noise level a bit loud at times (but it was due to several groups). Great red wine on the menu, Amarone. We had the sharing experience with a selectable main course, price performance = still okay.

Es war ein Traum! Wir saßen draußen, mit einem wunderschönen Blick. Das Essen war sehr gut und auch reichlich. Die Kellner waren schnell und zuvor kommend. Wir sind glücklich und zufrieden nach Hause gegangen und kommen wieder.

Gentleman at the entrance was very nice so far. Service not the best though. We had to wait at the bar for our table, sat there for about 10 minutes, no one thought to take our order. It wasn't until I proactively asked that the drinks were included. The table was ready relatively quickly. Our waiter (thin, beard, glasses) was very nice but didn't get anything done. They were ignored for a while until I asked (again proactively) if we could at least order water. He took the order and disappeared again, all tables were served except ours. Then at some point asked another waiter if we could have our water bottles. After they came we were held back again with the food order. We were about to leave, but then we managed, also with the help of other waiters, who started serving our table and were much quicker. Starter came quickly and was excellent (carpaccio + oysters). Main courses (Chateaubriand and T-Bone Steak) were tasty and nicely presented, but nothing that would knock your socks off. Ambience very nice.

A really nice place with good food. But at these prices I expect the best service. Unfortunately an absolute failure - extremely bad. The wine was simply poured into the glasses without being tasted. We had to wait forever for the food and we sat in front of empty glasses and had to look for staff for 15 minutes. Nobody really cared about us. If you want to blame part of it on a lack of staff, you have to keep part of the restaurant closed. This problem would be so easy to solve. But when it came to service, everything was really lacking. We won't be coming back!

The restaurant looks very chic and the staff is very attentive. The food was good, but unfortunately the prices are very unjustified. For example, you pay 8 euros for simple fries...unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. Particularly annoying: We were brought the wrong burger (veggie instead of Wagyu). The waiter misunderstood when ordering, which can happen. What just annoys me is acting like we ordered it wrong. To make matters worse, the wrong burger was also on the bill. This can also happen, but it shouldn't in an upscale restaurant of this type. Unfortunately, appearances are the main focus here. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

My visit to Rocca Riviera was a completely successful experience. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel like I was on holiday. The service was attentive, professional and at the same time pleasantly unobtrusive. As an aperitif I treated myself to a glass of champagne - perfectly tempered and with fine bubbles, which started the evening in style. My main course, a filet Charolais, was simply excellent: perfectly browned on the outside, buttery tender on the inside and of first-class quality. The side dishes were tastefully coordinated and underlined the Mediterranean touch of the house. Overall, a culinary highlight that I would happily recommend.

A Mediterranean experience in a class of its own I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rocca Riviera - a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant that impressively combines Italian and French cuisine. As soon as you enter, you can feel the warm atmosphere, which is accompanied by stylish furnishings and friendly service. As a starter I chose the Vitello Tonnato, a classic of Italian cuisine. The veal was extremely tender, perfectly cooked and harmonized perfectly with the creamy, aromatic tuna sauce. A fine balance of freshness and spice made this dish a perfect start to the evening. For the main course I chose the beef fillet with Béarnaise sauce – and I was not disappointed! The fillet was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor. The Béarnaise was a revelation: wonderfully creamy, with just the right amount of tarragon for a pleasant, aromatic depth. The wine selection also deserves a mention - a careful selection of Italian and French wines that ideally complement the food. The service was attentive, competent and always friendly without being intrusive. Overall, my visit to Rocca was a thoroughly successful experience. Anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine and values ​​high-quality ingredients, sophisticated preparation and a stylish ambience has come to the right place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Unreserved recommendation!

The food could be much much better. The ambience and service made up for what one would have expected from the food.

Der Service war schlecht, aber übertrieben höflich (dennoch inkompetent). Das Essen war geschmacklich maximal i.O., aber die bestellten Speisen waren unverhältnismäßig in Öl ertränkt. Abschließend ist das Restaurant ok, aber nicht besonders. Der Preis ist vollständig deplatziert und unverhältnismäßig. Die Hälfte des Preises würde vieles rechtfertigen und ins Verhältnis rücken, aber nach aktuellem Stand war es der letzte Besuch dort.

Great ambience, excellent service & super delicious food!

Wir waren zu viert und ich hatte in der Preiskategorie dieses Restaurants schon die Erwartung auf ein sehr gutes Essen. Das Essen war in Ordnung (bis auf den Pulpo, der war nicht gut), aber die Preise dafür viel zu hoch. Das Ambiente wurde durch die viel zu laute Musik zerstört, Unterhaltungen waren sehr schwierig. Aber eine absolute Frechheit waren die Cocktails. Man bekommt Mini-Gläser (ca. 0,2) -teilweise mit Eis- und dafür wird hier noch im Schnitt 15€ verlangt. Eine Flasche Wasser gibt es dazu für „günstige“ 9,50€…Das ist einfach Abzocke…wir haben zu viert mit lediglich einer Vorspeise und einer Nachspeise und jeweils einem Cocktail, 2 Wasser und 2 Gläsern Wein knapp 400€ bezahlt…für ein mittelmäßiges Essen, viel zu lauter Musik und unverschämten Cocktails. In so einen Laden muss man kein zweites Mal gehen…
