Rocca Riviera in München

The ambiance, the welcome, and the vitello tonnato are the reasons I might return and give the restaurant a second chance. We were greeted very warmly and professionally and shown to our table with a small menu. The ambiance and lighting are fantastic, and a DJ created the perfect atmosphere. The clientele is quite a sight. Unfortunately, the service at our table, while friendly, was very inattentive. After we were seated with our initial menu, it took a very long time before someone came to take our order and bring us the actual food menu. After the aperitif, we would certainly have ordered one or two more drinks. However, we didn't have the opportunity to order, and the waitress didn't ask. So our empty glasses sat there for an hour, leaving us with only the €9.50 sparkling water to drink. The food was a mixed bag. Vitello tonnato and tiramisu: 9/10, the main courses: duck ravioli 7/10 and truffle pasta 6/10 The small round table where we sat was unfortunately very wobbly, which was so annoying that we had to prop it up ourselves with some paper.

Elegant, delicious, and top-notch service!

If you want to travel to Dubai, but don’t feel like taking the jet, I suggest you check out Rocco Riviera. The place seems to have been teleported from that neck of the woods, and you won’t find too many of your usual München “bourgeois” scene here. It’s… a different vibe. A bit like a Mercedes AMG with some aftermarket parts. Food is excellent, and the portions enormous.

Hello, very stylish place, but it was a bit too dark for us on the upper floor. The reception was very friendly. The service was very attentive, quick, and friendly. The drinks are incredibly delicious. For starters, we had one burrata and one vitelo, which were tasty. For our main courses, we had one slice of lamb and one Wagyu beef from the daily specials menu. The food tasted good, but it needed to be hotter! Lukewarm food isn't really our thing. The dessert was the best part of the evening: one cheesecake and one Cup Denmark. All in all, it was a delicious evening, but it could definitely be even better.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio at Rocca Riviera is not satisfactory. However, the service was very competent and friendly. Oil and bread are offered to every guest as a welcome gift, without any indication that they are not included in the price. This is annoying, as it simply takes the decision out of the guest's hands – what if you don't want to eat them but still have to pay? Additionally, a one-euro donation was added to the bill without any prior notice, which I also find very discouraging. Such opaque practices significantly detract from the overall impression.

It was our first time there, and the ambiance, the surroundings, and even the clientele (surprisingly) were upscale. Unfortunately, this restaurant demonstrates once again how media hype has led to absolute over-the-top reviews. Our conclusion – incredibly disappointing. The food (we had three courses, including burrata, a Wagyu burger, and various pasta dishes) was truly mediocre at best. Culinary and flavor-wise, it lacked any finesse; it simply tasted very bland and in no way sophisticated. The burger bun was limp, the fries looked like they came straight from the freezer, and the meat was very bland – okay, one could argue that they wanted the Wagyu to be the star. But this was a recurring theme throughout all the dishes… We didn't even finish our meals. The waiter asked if everything was alright – I said no and told him that it unfortunately fell far short of the restaurant's reputation. He said he would pass it on immediately. Well, what can I say? No one ever contacted us again. The burgers were so bland that we didn't get a word in edgewise. I think everyone knows how unpleasant it is to complain about the food as a guest. But to then receive absolutely no feedback is downright outrageous. We won't be going there again and can only strongly advise against it.

The staff completely ruined the experience… My friends and I had reserved a table and were hoping for a pleasant evening. After placing our order, the waitress rudely asked us to leave the table and sit at the bar, claiming we hadn't ordered any food – even though we had definitely ordered snacks. Subsequently, our previously occupied table remained empty. The male waiters rudely pushed female guests aside. Furthermore, one waiter insisted that we all pay our bill on a single receipt. Since when does the staff decide how the guest pays their bill? It's a very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, but the staff's behavior alone makes us completely unwilling to return. If a restaurant of this caliber boasts a Michelin star, it should take care of its guests – after all, they are the ones who generate revenue.

A really cool place with a great atmosphere! The service was super friendly, and the DJ created just the right mood. The cocktails to start were the perfect opener and kicked off the evening ideally. The food selection is outstanding. The beef tartare as a starter was fantastic – delicious and beautifully presented. Then there was the Dover sole for two with broccolini and mashed potatoes – an exciting and very successful combination. The wine selection is also absolutely impressive. Overall, a really great place! Great food, good drinks, fantastic atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

UPDATE: Several years after writing my 3-star review, I received an email stating that the restaurant had filed a complaint against my review. If this restaurant intends to remove more critical (but honest and objective) reviews in this way, thus creating a rosy picture of actual customer opinions, instead of working on its own quality, it should at least be read here. So here's my original review again, now corrected to 1 star because of this approach: The food was very good, but the service was really poor for this price range: There was no friendliness, the second person's drink took 15 minutes longer than the first (despite explicitly asking for a while), and there was no thank you or goodbye on the way out, etc. Prices were noticeably "high" and only a few of the items were truly commensurate with the quality (e.g., €9 for a bottle of sparkling water or €18 for a mediocre small cocktail). All in all, despite the good food, I wouldn't go there again - at €120 for two people, you can rightly expect a much better overall experience.

Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm. This was communicated, and a simple "Sorry" was all that was needed. The waitress who served us wasn't particularly friendly either. The ambiance is great. But the value for money is definitely not right here.

The Rocca Riviera is a stylish Italian restaurant where you can eat very well. We started with lobster spaghetti with foam, followed by salmon fillet and sea bass with fried sweet potatoes. For dessert, we had lemon sorbet with champagne and fruit. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented.

The food was good (the tiramisu was very good!). The service was very friendly, and the ambiance was very modern.

The food is now just average for the prices. Steak (Chateaubriand) more well-done than medium. Pasta too al dente. Well, you don't need it anymore. Wine prices are at €12-15 per 0.1 for a standard Chardonnay, which is way over the top, even for Munich. More like over the top 😉 So, chic, yes, nice, yes, but no longer on my go-to places.

Maybe it was all the rave in the past, but this place is now definitely resting on its laurels. Location and view is suberb, but service and food were very mediocre (I am not that picky normally). When seating us we weren't asked whether the (tiny) table right by the entrance and in front of some other people was OK for us as a couple (it was not and luckily we were re-seated). We had a Wagyu burger (I hat to say it, but I prefer the fare at most burger chains), a ceasar salad (lettuce with lots of brown spots in huge leaves, plus some of the romaine lettuce stems, and a dressing that did not resemble a ceasar's at all), as well as a Tuna Tataki (weird combination of Japanese sashimi and Italian tomato and capers sauce). Despite loads of staff on site, our waiter made us wait every time we needed her attention. She treated us rather rude and all in all made the impression she didn't like her job. The crowd was smug and showy, obviously not a place where many academics hang out. We won't be back.

Delicious food and great service

A lot of money for little in return. Food prepared with care, lacking in flavor, emotionless service, and exorbitant prices. You'd expect a lot more for that. This will be my first and last visit.

There were seven of us – a girls' night at the Rocca Rivera in Munich – and unfortunately, we were disappointed. The service was uncoordinated and rushed from the start. While we were still busy with the appetizer, with food still on our plates, the waitress was already there to clear the table and get the main course. No time to breathe or enjoy. After the appetizer, we briefly went outside for some fresh air. When we returned, the cutlery for the main course was already on the table – but carelessly "thrown there." There was nothing nicely set up, as you would expect from a restaurant in this price range. My friend asked if her dish was spicy (she really can't stand spicy food), to which the waitress simply said she could ask the next table. No help, no advice – simply brushed off. Another waiter later brought a burger and had to walk around our long table once, rolling his eyes in annoyance. This also fit the picture: unfriendly, stressed, not very customer-oriented. At the end, I asked for the bill – it was placed on the table without comment, without eye contact or any question. It was clearly expected that we simply pay everything together with a card. The fact that no one volunteered to split the bill was disappointing for a restaurant in this price range. Our total bill was €520. And with that amount, you simply expect a completely different level of service – friendly, attentive, professional. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. The food was okay, but nothing special in terms of taste – you can get better quality and, above all, a better overall experience for less money elsewhere. It was a shame about the evening – we didn't feel welcome and unfortunately wouldn't recommend the Rocca Rivera.

The ambiance at Rocco Riviera is truly impressive – you feel like you're on the Côte d'Azur in the heart of Munich. The food was of a very high standard, and the wine list leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we had to wait a full 90 minutes for our food – this significantly dampened our anticipation. The staff tried hard, but at times seemed overwhelmed and not always attentive. For the price range, I would have expected a smoother operation. It's a shame, because the food and selection are top-notch, but the service urgently needs to improve to improve the overall experience.

Well, the service was okay; the lady was quick, but not particularly friendly. The food was also just okay—nothing special, but the portions were decent. You'll find much better value for money at other restaurants in Munich.

We had the large seafood extravaganza platter for two. The selection was good, but the lobster and scampi weren't hot and went cold very quickly. The mushy crab didn't impress us in terms of flavor. The lobster was a bit dry and could have used more seasoning. The oysters, on the other hand, were very good. The platter was perfectly large for two people. The bread and oil were automatically placed on the table at the beginning and were charged at €2.50 per person. The service was unfortunately unsatisfactory. One would expect more competent advice in a restaurant of this kind. The waitresses weren't very knowledgeable and were at times a bit clumsy and not particularly accommodating or friendly. All in all, we had hoped for a bit more for the price category.

They took a long time to bring the menu. At first, they only brought the cocktail list and didn’t offer the wine list at all. None of the waiters knew the WiFi password. They brought out a snack (which was later added to the bill, although it looked like a complimentary appetizer). We waited an hour for the main menu. The steak was served rare, even though we only eat well-done — and no one asked us in advance about the preferred option . The truffle fries… were just laughable: overcooked packaged fries with some strange seasoning on top and dry truffle shavings. Definitely not what you’d expect for 18 euros. To top it off, it was my birthday — which had been mentioned both during the table reservation and directly to the hostess. She did nothing and completely ignored it. After each course, the cutlery was placed directly on the table without any proper setting. There were many more moments that ruined the evening. A complete disappointment. I had a much better opinion of this place. In a place where the bill for two exceeds 130 euros, the service, hospitality, and quality should be at the highest level — which was definitely not the case here.

Nice, stylish place. The food is good, but nothing extraordinary: the presentation is better than the taste. For me it gives the vibe of easy ordinary dishes made fancy through presentation, like many of the steak houses in Munich. The wine was very good, but 10€ for 0,1 is a bit steep. Cover charges (for ex bread) were added to the bill. All in all an ok place for a business meeting, nothing for gourmets. It feels managed by a business person more than a gastronomer.

We arrived spontaneously quite early in the evening and received a very friendly welcome. We were given a table on the first floor. The service was very attentive, and the food came quickly and neatly. It was nice that they also serve fries. The food was really very good. I just found the prices a bit excessive. However, the atmosphere is really nice. The music wasn't too loud.

Excellent quality of food, only the dessert didn't suit my personal taste and the tart dough was quite hard. Service attentive, noise level a bit loud at times (but it was due to several groups). Great red wine on the menu, Amarone. We had the sharing experience with a selectable main course, price performance = still okay.

Gentleman at the entrance was very nice so far. Service not the best though. We had to wait at the bar for our table, sat there for about 10 minutes, no one thought to take our order. It wasn't until I proactively asked that the drinks were included. The table was ready relatively quickly. Our waiter (thin, beard, glasses) was very nice but didn't get anything done. They were ignored for a while until I asked (again proactively) if we could at least order water. He took the order and disappeared again, all tables were served except ours. Then at some point asked another waiter if we could have our water bottles. After they came we were held back again with the food order. We were about to leave, but then we managed, also with the help of other waiters, who started serving our table and were much quicker. Starter came quickly and was excellent (carpaccio + oysters). Main courses (Chateaubriand and T-Bone Steak) were tasty and nicely presented, but nothing that would knock your socks off. Ambience very nice.

A really nice place with good food. But at these prices I expect the best service. Unfortunately an absolute failure - extremely bad. The wine was simply poured into the glasses without being tasted. We had to wait forever for the food and we sat in front of empty glasses and had to look for staff for 15 minutes. Nobody really cared about us. If you want to blame part of it on a lack of staff, you have to keep part of the restaurant closed. This problem would be so easy to solve. But when it came to service, everything was really lacking. We won't be coming back!

This can also happen, but it shouldn't in an upscale restaurant of this type. Unfortunately, appearances are the main focus here. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

My visit to Rocca Riviera was a completely successful experience. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel like I was on holiday. The service was attentive, professional and at the same time pleasantly unobtrusive. As an aperitif I treated myself to a glass of champagne - perfectly tempered and with fine bubbles, which started the evening in style. My main course, a filet Charolais, was simply excellent: perfectly browned on the outside, buttery tender on the inside and of first-class quality. The side dishes were tastefully coordinated and underlined the Mediterranean touch of the house. Overall, a culinary highlight that I would happily recommend.

A Mediterranean experience in a class of its own I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rocca Riviera - a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant that impressively combines Italian and French cuisine. As soon as you enter, you can feel the warm atmosphere, which is accompanied by stylish furnishings and friendly service. As a starter I chose the Vitello Tonnato, a classic of Italian cuisine. The veal was extremely tender, perfectly cooked and harmonized perfectly with the creamy, aromatic tuna sauce. A fine balance of freshness and spice made this dish a perfect start to the evening. For the main course I chose the beef fillet with Béarnaise sauce – and I was not disappointed! The fillet was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor. The Béarnaise was a revelation: wonderfully creamy, with just the right amount of tarragon for a pleasant, aromatic depth. The wine selection also deserves a mention - a careful selection of Italian and French wines that ideally complement the food. The service was attentive, competent and always friendly without being intrusive. Overall, my visit to Rocca was a thoroughly successful experience. Anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine and values ​​high-quality ingredients, sophisticated preparation and a stylish ambience has come to the right place. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Unreserved recommendation!

Wir waren zu viert und ich hatte in der Preiskategorie dieses Restaurants schon die Erwartung auf ein sehr gutes Essen. Das Essen war in Ordnung (bis auf den Pulpo, der war nicht gut), aber die Preise dafür viel zu hoch. Das Ambiente wurde durch die viel zu laute Musik zerstört, Unterhaltungen waren sehr schwierig. Aber eine absolute Frechheit waren die Cocktails. Man bekommt Mini-Gläser (ca. 0,2) -teilweise mit Eis- und dafür wird hier noch im Schnitt 15€ verlangt. Eine Flasche Wasser gibt es dazu für „günstige“ 9,50€…Das ist einfach Abzocke…wir haben zu viert mit lediglich einer Vorspeise und einer Nachspeise und jeweils einem Cocktail, 2 Wasser und 2 Gläsern Wein knapp 400€ bezahlt…für ein mittelmäßiges Essen, viel zu lauter Musik und unverschämten Cocktails. In so einen Laden muss man kein zweites Mal gehen…

The Rocca Riviera is a stylish and nicely furnished restaurant with round tables and booths. Unfortunately, our food was mediocre: a carpaccio that wasn't seasoned enough, and a fish plate with good ratatouille and, unfortunately, not freshly prepared red mullet. The Chardonnay had a terrible chemical note. Overall expensive, and the waiter was very obviously unhappy with the tip. The whole thing really wasn't any fun.

Something about the store has changed. The staff became unfriendly, my friend had a few questions due to a food allergy, and the waiter was very snippy towards her - even though she asked really nicely and explained her situation. In addition, there is only a very slimmed-down menu at lunchtime. We found almost nothing there, there are no more salads, no tartare, just pasta, a steak and two fish dishes. The food was OK, but not at all exceptional or appropriate for the price. My friend had the fish of the day, the portion was very small. I had the truffle pasta, it was good but nothing to repeat. It's a shame that you can no longer order from the normal menu at lunchtime. We wouldn't come back again.

We had been looking forward to a lovely evening at Rocca Riviera, but instead it was an extremely unpleasant experience - mainly because of the disrespectful service staff. Right from the start, the waiter urged us to order the main course directly with the starter, even though the kitchen doesn't close until 11 p.m. and it was only 8:30 p.m. Our request to order later was ignored - instead we were literally told when to order. After the starter, the real chaos began: Despite multiple attempts to get the waiter's attention, we were consistently ignored. Even after another waiter promised to send him to us, nothing happened at first. It took a total of over 30 minutes until our order was finally taken - and only after repeated requests. No one took care of us during the entire evening: no request for additional drinks, no clearing of the table after the starter - no sign of attentive service. When we finally asked the waiter about his behavior, he reacted negatively and called the supposed boss. But instead of apologizing or showing understanding, he simply asked coolly what we wanted to order. Only at the end of the evening - after a bill of over €500 - did a half-hearted apology come. For a restaurant that presents itself as an upscale address, such poor service is absolutely unacceptable. You are not valued as a guest here - we cannot recommend it

Price/performance doesn't fit at all.

Die Vorspeise war sehr gut, der Hauptgang 1x gut und 1x unbefriedigend. Der Tisch war sehr dunkel und die Cocktailsessel zum recht tief und der Service war z.T. unhöflich. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht.

Great atmosphere with DJ at the bar. Good concept

Rocca Riviera has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Munich. However, last night’s experience was a major disappointment. Our waiter got our order wrong three times, forgot several dishes, and was dismissive when asked to confirm the order. His attitude was rude and condescending throughout the evening, making the experience frustrating rather than enjoyable. In the end, half of our appetizers were either incorrect or never arrived. Definitely not the level of service I’ve come to expect from this restaurant. The usual Rocca service is fantastic, maybe it was just an off night. The food was as always a 10/10.

I visited Rocca Riviera on a friend's recommendation, but I can't say I was impressed. It's one of those places that seems to have an identity, but ultimately fails to uphold it. I will put 3 stars, mainly because the food did not live up to the expectations that create Michelin stars, while the behavior of the waiter left a very bad impression. He had a haughty air, almost as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. The prices, however, are excessive for dishes that had nothing special or imaginative. Overall, an experience that didn't do me justice.

A great restaurant that perfectly combines Mediterranean flair and excellent cuisine. The dishes are creative, fresh and full of flavor - a real highlight for gourmets. I particularly enjoyed the pasta and fish dishes, but the appetizers and pizzas were also a delight. The atmosphere is modern and stylish, with a touch of Riviera feel. The service was attentive and friendly, which rounded off the entire visit. If you are looking for a special culinary experience in a relaxed environment, you should definitely try Rocca Riviera!

A disappointing experience at Rocca Rivera - lots of potential, little execution The evening at Rocca Rivera was supposed to be a highlight, but unfortunately it was one thing above all else: disappointing. Of course you go to a restaurant in this price range with high expectations, but in our opinion even basic standards were not met. The Spicy Rigatoni sounded promising on the menu, but the reality was sobering. The pasta was still hard in places, and the taste of the sauce was reminiscent of a simple tomato and cream sauce that you could make at home. However, this dish cost a whopping €26 - a sum that can hardly be justified for this quality. The service also left a lot to be desired. Nobody asked us whether everything was OK, and questions about the order were either answered half-heartedly or with statements like “I don’t know, I don’t really know.” Of course not every waiter needs to know every detail, but in a restaurant of this level I expect at least a professional and polite reaction. Another unpleasant incident concerned the bill: When paying, €270 was deliberately written down instead of the correct €220. When we mentioned the sum of €220 again, the waitress looked at us in horror - behavior that we found to be incredibly cheeky. Good service should be compensated appropriately, but if service is mediocre to poor, you can't expect a large tip. In such a situation, you should be grateful for every additional euro - at least in my opinion. The only really positive thing about this evening was the beautiful atmosphere and the exceptionally friendly receptionist who took care of our jackets and shopping bags. His demeanor stood out pleasantly from the rest of the staff and conveyed at least a hint of hospitality. Unfortunately, that alone wasn't enough to save the evening. The Rocca Rivera undoubtedly has potential, but on this evening it was far from being fulfilled.

Schönes Lokal mit guter Musik und gutem Essen. Es herrscht immer gute Stimmung. Werden wieder kommen.

Silvestermenue war sehr lecker und preislich auch völlig okay. Getränkepreisen meines Erachtens zu hoch. Silvesterdeko habe ich vermisst.

Eine große Enttäuschung war die uns vorgelegte Getränkekarte, die keinen einzigen italienischen Wein, geschweige denn eine Flasche eines, wie von mir erhofften guten Franciacortas enthalten hat. Es gab lediglich glasweise 5 Sorten Champagner (à 10ml), eine Sorte Bier (plus alkoholfrei), zahlreiche Schnäpse und Cocktails - nichts was ich zu einem gepflegten italienischen Essen haben möchte...

Service hat gut gestartet und stark nachgelassen! Essen war sehr lecker (Person 1) Essen war ordentlich (Person 2) Die Beratung der Bedienung war nicht kompetent, und wurde mit leistungsorientiertem Trinkgeld bewertet.

Price-performance doesn't fit. Food is good, but actually a disappointment for the price. For the prices quoted, charging €4 for a bread basket with 3 small slices of baguette and 2-3 grisini is not exactly customer friendly. The bread basket was put there and it was not pointed out that it costs €4. The two of us paid €170, which included a bread basket. Cocktail theme: definitely don't drink there. They have once again optimized their ice cubes extremely well. I had a "jet leg" cocktail for €18. When this was brought to the table, I felt very embarrassed. Glass size approximately 0.15 and. at least half ice cream. My wife has a similar picture. Sorry people, but even someone with enough change wants something for their money. Conclusion: We don't go there anymore because you don't get enough for your money and I feel really ripped off when it comes to the bread basket and cocktail

An absolutely successful stay at Rocca Riviera! The atmosphere was unique – stylish, modern and at the same time very comfortable. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food was outstanding, every dish was perfectly prepared and tasted delicious. The service was also first class and left nothing to be desired. A place you definitely want to return to. Thank you for this wonderful evening!

Excellent restaurant for extravagant people.

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend. Gutes Essen und eine sensationelle Seezunge. Als voller wurde, war es nicht mehr so ganz einfach zu unserem Bein zu kommen. Was nicht akzeptabel ist, ist, dass man keine Firmenadresse auf dem Bewirtungs Beleg bekommt. Die Anforderung über die Verwaltung ist sehr umständlich und passt nicht mehr in die heutige Zeit. Jedes Restaurant kann heutzutage die Firmenadresse auf dem Bewirtungs Beleg am Abend ausdrucken.

Es war immer alles bestens, Flammkuchen mit Trüffel, Loup de Mer und Chateaubriand und die beste Bernaise der Stadt, gerne wieder!

Great ambience, very attentive service and excellent food. We had a sensational evening and will definitely be back.

The truffle pasta was very tasty and the tiramisu was the absolute highlight of the entire meal. Great high quality wine and very courteous service. A small drawback was the bread basket, which had to be paid for separately and it was not explicitly mentioned beforehand that it costs 6 euros.

Food: The only worth the price food we got was Flamkuchen, however, as this restaurant serves Mediterranean food the lobster is not something close to be called “Fresh”, and others dishes was so so. (We didn’t try the meats) Service : Everything was quick, but too less attentive about customers speed of eating, so it became too quick. Atmospheres: very classy but toilet is really not easily reachable Additional: we went to celebrate birthday , and there was not even slightly special treat for that.

I really liked the restaurant, especially the food was simply excellent. The dishes were excellently prepared and the quality of the food was first class. Unfortunately the service couldn't keep up with the food. The waiter seemed awkward, unprofessional and unfortunately wasn't friendly or accommodating at all. His serious expression and distant demeanor made us feel a little uncomfortable during the meal. It's a shame because the fantastic food deserved equally great service.

Wir hatten bei unserem Besuch leider keine kleinen Teller für das Brot bekommen. Die junge Bedienung schien ein wenig überfordert und wir wiesen höflich darauf hin, dass dies eher unüblich ist. Da wir das Brot nicht einfach so auf den Tisch legen und anschließend verzehren wollten, baten wir nochmals freundlich um Teller. Daraufhin kam der Geschäftsführer zu uns, der uns darauf hinwies, dass wir uns gegenüber seiner Mitarbeiterin respektvoller verhalten sollten. Leider ging er dabei nicht auf die Situation ein, entschuldigte sich nicht für mögliche Missverständnisse und erklärte auch nicht, dass die Mitarbeiterin möglicherweise neu oder unerfahren ist. Stattdessen stellte er sich schützend vor seine Kollegin, was in der Situation vielleicht gut gemeint war, jedoch unangenehm wirkte. Am Ende erhielten wir schließlich die Teller, aber der gesamte Ablauf hinterließ bei uns einen gemischten Eindruck. Wir haben uns daher entschieden, in Zukunft nicht mehr dort einzukehren. Schade, denn mit etwas mehr Feingefühl hätte die Situation sicher anders verlaufen können.

Der Empfang und der Service waren super freundlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Essen und das Ambiente haben mich auch überzeugt. Komme gerne wieder 🌷

Hatten ein Event, wollten nach der Arbeit noch kurz was futtern. Haben uns dann gegen Vorspeisen aber für das Chateaubriand in der 500g Variante entschieden. 2 Cocktails zum Aperitif, hier bitte in Zukunft beim Margerita die Gläser vorkühlen und schauen dass die Zutaten kalt sind. Geschmacklich allerdings echt okay. Hauptgang hat leider etwas länger gedauert als gedacht, geschmacklich jedoch top und auch die Fleischqualität war super. Die Bernaise war leider nur noch lau warm, das hat dann zusammen mit dem Medium Rare Fleisch das ganze Gericht sehr stark abgekühlt. Die Pommes und vor allem auch die Trüffel Mayo waren grandios! Hier gabs mehr als nur einfach Trüffelöl in Mayo, hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war definitiv sehr bemüht, sehr zuvorkommend und auch hauptverantwortlich für die "Fine Dining" Experience. Solide 4 von 5 für ein gutes und leckeres Essen mit fairen Preisen. Lediglich der "Wow Effekt" hat etwas gefehlt, aber das kann man verkraften.

Katastrophaler Service, schönes Restaurant. Es sind wirklich sehr viele Dinge schief gegangen. Ich habe einen alkoholfreien Mojito bestellt, dieser kam mit Alkohol. Das habe ich erst nach den ersten Schlücken gemerkt, da kam der Kellner und hat mir den Drink fast aus der Hand gerissen. Erst 10 Minuten später kam dann der alkoholfreie, ohne ein Wort der Entschuldigung. Generell kam der Kellner so gut wie nie vorbei, die leeren Teller standen teilweise 20 Minuten lang vor uns.. Getränke kamen auch mit Wartezeiten von ca. 15-20 Minuten. Das Ambiente war schön, tolles Restaurant und ruhig, man kann sich gut unterhalten. Leider hat hier das komplette System / Management versagt. Kein ausgebildeter Kellner und die Schicht- bzw. Restaurantleitung hat das keinen Deut interessiert. Das Essen war im Durchschnitt gut, teilweise wurden nicht qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten verwendet. In diesem Preisniveau wurde ich noch nie so schlecht serviert wie hier im Rocca. Trinkgeld gab es nur wenig, das hat uns der Kellner auch spüren lassen als er die Rechnung vor meine Nase geschmissen hat und sich ohne ein Wort umgedreht hat. Tatsächlich bin ich sehr enttäuscht von diesem Abend, vor allem aber von dem Verhalten des Services. Das Rocca Riviera kann ich nicht empfehlen und werde es auch persönlich nicht mehr besuchen.

Personal sollte happier sein, so viel drama in augen, und wollte keine trinkgeld geben, hab trotzdem 10€ gegeben, aber service war gut und schnell, personal war immer unzufrieden und traurig
