The food is incredibly tasty, the service is extremely attentive, friendly and fast. There is also a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. We can fully recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back!

North Indian restaurant in Punjab / medium food and chicken biryani. We believe that it has been cooked for a while and is heated and served because the chicken is cold and the rice is hot and the handling is good and the best is the vegetable salad with bread and the price is very expensive

Always a good address! The team is friendly, attentive and quick. The menu is extensive and offers options for every taste, including vegan dishes. The kitchen cooks fresh and delicious food; Many expats also eat here. The interior is cozy; The former inn has been very successfully renovated and decorated with beautiful, but subtle colors. Tip: The Tandoori Kesri Chicken is fantastic, the Handi Chicken is also very good (but not “very spicy”), the eggplant bharta is super tasty and those who choose thali dishes can put together their own favorite dishes. Only the roti wasn't really convincing so far, but it's absolutely solid.

Went for lunch and chose from the main menu. As a plus, I was given a pappadum, a small dessert and a lovely chai. The garlic soup was very average, whereas the Handi Chicken was excellent and as spicy as promised (there was no need to ask for more). I will go back and try the Mittagskarte and see if this is a place to come to regularly. Plenty of shaded outdoor seating, good service.

Very pleasant restaurant with friendly staff, delicious food and a nice outdoor area. There you can easily and comfortably watch people passing by and still sit quietly.

Lunch offer includes vegan dishes. They are not listed on the lunch menu, but a selection of the regular vegan dishes was possible. So a large selection for a vegan lunch. The service was extremely attentive! As soon as our plate of rice came to an end, we were handed a new, full one. The food and drink were brought very quickly. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the food. The tastiest Indian food I've had so far. The interior was also harmonious and inviting. I can highly recommend the store to everyone. Unfortunately I was only in the city as a tourist. However, I will visit this restaurant again if I end up in Munich again.

Large selection of vegetarian options. Food is ok, but nothing more. Rice smells very musty, I didn't eat it. All dishes were very lightly seasoned. In my opinion prices are too high for the very average quality of the food.

Recently visited this place during my business trip to Munich. Food was good, I tried bengan bhartha, roti, lassi and rice. Service from staff was very good and fast.

Went to Munich for an extended weekend. Chandani Chowk restaurant was just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Typical Punjabi staff and food in Germany was just fascinating. The food was very authentic and the staff very courteous. Very good overall experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for punjabi food in Munich

While being in Munich City for a week, this place was my lunch and dinner place 3 times. The portions are good, the taste is good,and the service is fast. Walking distance from rosenheimer platz tram station, this place remains crowded. But you can have a seat once you are ther.

We sat outside. Actually ok, but the chair and table heights don't match. Otherwise very attentive and friendly service and delicious food - the portions could be a little larger. Definitely happy to come back.

Excellent restaurant. We came to hide from the rain, but remained very pleasantly surprised. The food is if very good quality and served with great care. Perfect Indian restaurant! Great food, service, music, atmosphere, location. We stumbled on this gem after an exhibition next door, and came back again with friends. Even our picky 15 year old, who had never had Indian food, loved his tandoori chicken. All meals were great, and the na'an bread and mango lassi. Recommended!

Veg tawa fry is an absolute delight

We ate there today and what can I say it was really tasty. We had very tasty chicken and the garlic bread was to die for. We recommend . The waiters were very attentive. There wasn't much activity yet.. Saturday 6 p.m.. the restaurant should actually be full.. it was so delicious! Gladly 5 stars 😀

+++ Close proximity to the S-Bahn and Isar river. Easy availability of tables. Excellent service. The Veg Tawa Fry was exceptionally delicious, with the masala flavor reminiscent of some fine North Indian restaurants in India. To improve: Other dishes were OKish. For instance, the chicken tikka was slightly tough and inadequately marinated. Prices are relatively high while portions are small, and the quality doesn't justify it.

Have eaten in the restaurant once. Service was quick with a smile, and everything tasted great. This has now become a regular "Uber Eats" meal for us, and we have always received exactly what we ordered (which is not so common with other eateries), and it has always been tasty. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for fast, reliable, and tasty food.

Almost all dishes contain dairy products. Even fish dishes. Fortunately, there are also many vegan dishes. But of course it could have been better if there were some non-vegetarian dishes for people who don't or can't consume dairy products. The food doesn't taste particularly good, but it's OK.

This place is absolutely amazing! While staying in munich, we couldn't locate a good indian restaurant.When we came to Chandni chowk, it finally met - and in fact exceeded - my expectations of a delicious indian cuisine. We ordered Butter chicken, dhal makhani, raita, naan and a couple of others, and we were immediately served. Even with a crowd, they were able to seat and serve us very fast. Additionally, they provide chai at the end of your meal, on the house, as well as papad , on the house. The waiters are very hospitable as well. I highly recommend this place!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ein klassisches indisches Lokal in dem ich gerne immer wieder esse. Sehr leckere Gerichte mit und ohne Fleisch. Personal ist nach alter Schule sehr höflich. Das Ambiente ist traditionell und sehr ordentlich. 3x sehr!

Alles in allem ein zu empfehlendes Restaurant. Es gab eine kleine Vorspeise und einen Mini indischen Chai aufs Haus. Wer auf scharfes Essen steht sollte unbedingt nach extra Schärfe fragen, da man sonst ein mildes Gericht bekommt. Das Naan Brot hätte für unseren Geschmack etwas fluffiger und teigiger sein können. Deshalb nur 3 Sterne. Der Service ist wirklich sehr zuvorkommend. Es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an vegetarischen, als auch veganen Gerichten. 🌱

Das Personal war zwar höflich,als Servicekraft nicht ausgebildet und ab und zu dadurch nervig. Das Essen war lecker, war nach der Bestellung in 2 Minuten auch schon da. Kann man interpretieren wie man möchte:-) Beim vegetarischem Gericht war gefüllt nur Sauce.

Gutes indisches Essen zum vernünftigen Preisen. Die Portionen sind nicht zu groß, allerdings war es für uns ausreichend. Empfehlenswert.

Das Essen insgesamt war okay, nichts Besonderes. Die 7 € für den „Tomatensalat“, welcher aus eine geschnittene Tomate ohne Dressing besteht, ist einfach nur eine Frechheit!!!

Solider Inder! Butterchicken und Mango Chicken Test bestanden. Das roti und das Naan auch super. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Der Biergarten vor der Tür ist auch schön.

I love this place, mostly because the owner and the staff treat you well and are friendly, the food is really good and the place is CLEAN. I am appalled by some of the reviews, a bunch of keyboard warriors who went here once with lofty expectations. of course every Indian restaurant is different, but just because something didn't appeal to you personally doesn't mean you are entitled to leave a bad review. Stay home and cook your own food then. Small businesses need your support. If you have nothing nice to say, just stay home instead. Seriously.

I rarely give reviews, but if you follow my reviews and food choices, you’d know when I do give reviews, I do them because they are worth it. This place is excellent: Food is so delicious, the table and setting are beautifully done, the people running this place are great and attentive - and lighting fast. If you want some Indian food in Munich, please visit this place as you could not go wrong. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala (safe choice), my wife had Chicken Korma (excellent), my brother had Mango Lamb (incredible) and my mother had Butter Chicken(super good). This is an experience we were so happy with and we highly recommend! Do yourself a favor and come here. Say hello to Raman Bhatiya and his colleagues - you would be very well served. Enjoy!

A very nearly maintained Indian restaurant. A little disappointed with the food as the raw taste of masala was very evident in the currys ordered. The dal was really good and so was the mixed vegetable pakoda. Service and the ambience are top notch. Can visit if visiting the area but there is room for improvement when it comes to the food especially when it comes to quality for the price charged.
